Delicious sandwiches at Board & Brew! Big fan of the chain, and this location delivers. We had the turkado and California delight sandwiches which were great, love the sauce. We sat on the dog friendly patio. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, only waited about 10 minutes for the sandwiches. Recommend!

This sandwich shop is already an incredible place with consistent delicious food. But today I particularly enjoyed the service. Teya at the bar was so friendly and made my lunch experience remind me why its worth it to go out to eat instead of just making a sandwich at home. This is my go to lunch break spot, I will definitely be back.

Board & Brew in Poway is my go-to spot for a great sandwich. My favorites are the Turkey Deluxe, Beef Dip, and West Coast Pastrami—all super flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. Everything just tastes high-quality and well put together. The atmosphere is laid-back, with both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can sit wherever you’re feeling that day. They also have a couple of beers on tap, which is always a nice touch. And don’t skip their house sauce—it adds the perfect extra kick to any sandwich. If you’re in Poway and want a solid, no-fuss meal, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Board & Brew is hands down one of the best sandwich spots around! The food tasted super fresh, the portions were generous, and that Secret Sauce is absolutely addicting. On top of the amazing food, the service here was top-notch. Jeff was super friendly and made sure my order was perfect. Gael had great vibes and made the experience even better. Payten was also super helpful! And Noah—that guy knows his stuff! You can tell the team genuinely cares about their customers. Will definitely come back for the laid-back atmosphere, AMAZING service, and quality food! AND the bathrooms were SOOOO clean! We love a clean bathroom!

Every time I have been to a Boards and Brews, the service and quality of food has been consistent. My favorite sandwich is the California delight and thr portions are very filling! They also carry the kettle brand chips, which have great flavor.

This building was newly added to this plaza. Great addition to Poway. Has a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. Even a sports bar with beer and tv screens. It gets busy during lunch and evening on sports days. It’s a pay first type of place and self serve. Hot sandwiches are “from the grill” category and cold sandwiches are under “speciality”. It’s all in full size sandwiches unless you order from “speciality” then you can get a half. I wish they offered a combo that was half sandwich and half salad. I ended up getting Baja wrap that’s chicken breast with avocado in a Spanish wrap. So moist and soft. The girl said Turkado is the most popular but I didn’t want a cold sandwich. That’s pretty much the same as Baja Wrap except is on sourdough bread and Turkmen vice chicken breast.

Quick stop for lunch - ordered a healthy veggie supreme sandwich - avocado and their special sauce on the side. This location always has the best service! They are very quick, and it's clean! They never make errors on my order, even when I add or remove items. And the veggies are always fresh and crisp! If you are out for happy hour, this location offers a small bar with an inside/outside patio seating area that is the perfect place to enjoy your food! Definitely recommend!

I haven't been to a Board and Brew in over 10 years because I'm "not a sandwich fan" and BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE. I typically do not care for cold sandwiches that much ("I can make them at home") but the California Delight and its sprouts were calling to me. I added banana peppers and THE SAUCE. I wish they would have given me two tubs because I couldn't come up for air long enough to ask them for a second one. It was the perfect sandwich. For "someone who doesn't like sandwiches" I sure can't wait to come back here for another. My friend had the beef dip and I forgot to get their rating but the swiftness with which they also hoovered up their lunch makes me think they agree. We skipped drinks this time but the beer selection was delightfully varied. They had tables and then a small little bar section off to the side which was nice. I always warn about noise - baseball was on and given the size of the place it does get loud if people are rowdy. But there's plenty of outside seating as well as inside seating away from the action. Parking is not an issue at all as this is in a shopping center. My usual order for sandos is a Ruben (since it's warm) but honestly I'm not sure I could order anything except the California - it's THAT good. But I do vaguely remember all those years ago getting the tuna and was splendid as well.

Board and Brew never disappoints! Me and my coworker went on our lunch break and she recommended to get the grilled cheese add bacon and avocado. It was a 10/10. I love how fresh everything is here. And that SAUCE Is to die for ;)

Nice place to get a sandwich and a beer. Can get loud on game nights but its ok. It's small but we can always find a place to sit. Great food sandwiches are around $12.00 and good beers. Service is always fast.

First time at this location and it is just as good as the others. Good food, fast service. Only negative was the receptacles were being cleaned so I had nowhere to put my tray when I finished my food, I just left it at the bar counter until someone picked it up.

I only get to eat here when I'm in San Diego! And it was so good tonight! I ordered the chicken club - SO good! The melted cheese and the mayo and the chicken and the bacon! I inhaled my sandwich! So good. My boyfriend got the Baja beef. At first they made the wrong sandwich (I think it was just loud and busy so they may have misheard our order initially) but they immediately got us the correct sandwich. They provided wonderful customer service. Will definitely come back!!

Convenient location. Larger restaurant footprint than most sub-shops, which really equates to more customer seating. This space is ideal for lunch time meal meet ups with friends and coworkers. Ordered Tom's Choice: Baked Roast Beef & Turkey Breast combo with Cheddar, topped with Sweet & Sour Dressing, Mayo, Onion, Tomato & Lettuce on a French Baguette. My sammy had so much lettuce that it was spilling out with every bite, which I found annoying. Surprisingly, I liked the sweet n sour dressing. I also found it odd that one side of the sandwich contained a roast beef and the other side housed the turkey (see photo). Because of how it was arranged, there was noticeably more turkey than roast beef, which made me sad. Honestly, I was disappointed that I had more lettuce than meats. Normally I expect a sandwich to have the meats and other contents piled on top of one another, but maybe that's not how they do things here? Or does someone in the back need to re-learn how to make a sandwich? I've been to other Board & Brew locations and this one is comparable. I just don't recall my sandwich meats being organized quite this way before. Service was organized and prompt. Staff even came by and offered to clear our trays and trash for our group of four before we left. Excellent staff training always gets a star from me! I really wasn't digging how my sandwich was made and the unbalanced meat to veggie to bread ratio. For the price I paid I don't feel it was a good deal overall. I'll come back if my boss forces another "team lunch" here, but otherwise it's a no for me.

This is my go to spot with friends and u just can't really beat their prices for during happy hour. It's a casual atmosphere & they usually have plenty of seating, almost no wait time for your drinks and little wait time for your sandwich. Staff has always been friendly and it's a good value. Also has indoor and outdoor seating and welcome on the patio outside.

Consistent sandwiches and of course, love their sauce. They have a lot of options on tap and their happy hour 3-6p every day for a few $ off a pint is a great deal. So happy we have this store near us now.

Fast and good. Workers are nice and have many tables. Sandwiches are amazing! Menu is very easy to understand and the outdoor seating is beautiful.

My sandwich was poorly made. This is one of my favorite sandwich places so it was a bummer... there was barley and lettuce, not much turkey and a big pile of sunflower seeds not spread out. We were the first customers of the day and it was not busy.

This is a solid choice for a sandwich before a movie across the lot. We've been in a few times and it's consistent and convenient for us. The service is good and the menu is pretty good and simple. They're located next to the Habit, easy to find and plenty of parking nearby. It's been clean whenever we stop in. The ingredients are a way better quality than some other sandwich places, looking at you, Subway. Board and Brew is much option in my opinion.

Great food if your looking for a sandwich ! I had the turkado and it was yummy !! Definitely filling for one person . You could easily share it with some chips or potato salad . Very casual dinning and service was friendly ! I would definitely go back again !

This was our first time coming to this location. There is lots of parking and is easy to find. My family loves Board and Brew and this location did not disappoint. Will definitely come back. The service was quick and the employees very friendly.

Love, love, love this place. I am gluten-free (not by choice) and I have to tell you their GF wraps are the best I have ever had. I want to really know if they sell the wraps themselves separately so I can make a burrito out of them. I just keep forgetting to ask them. I typically get their turkey delux (delicious) and my daughter and husband typically surf the menu. I am truly just so happy that I found this place caters to GF people. I order from this place at least twice a week or three times a month. So good!!!!

Love this place, but disappointed bread was a little stale and the chicken overcooked. I'll still go back and give it another shot again. For the sauce.

Delicious Italian sandwich and Cobb salad as usual. We ordered online and the food was ready when promised. I asked for sauce on the side and no utensils, received utensils and no sauce. I'm not faulting them for their online platform but it's strange that it doesn't integrate with Google or Apple Pay. Had to type in all of my card info manually.

We e always loved Board and Brew and are happy to see them expanding into various locations. Having the Poway location so close to my work is both awesome and awesomely dangerous at the same time. It gets very busy so I would suggest ordering online and it will be ready for pick up when you arrive. The spicy beef sandwiches is one of my favorites as well as the plain old turkey on sourdough with mustard, onions, and tomato from the sandwich board. Everything on the menu is really good though, no bad choices. They have a great selection of beers and various beverages as well. Always good to grab a bite or even a beer during happy hour. Perfect meet up place!

I was pissed as they lost my order in a lunch rush. BUT, after I brought it to their attention, they turned to and got my wrap made and delivered to the table. Food was great. I had the Baja wrap - very good. Long line. Lotsa lunch time beer drinkers. Worth the wait.

There were strands of hair in the Baja Beef sandwich and a big piece of lint in my little girl's grilled cheese sandwich! They also forgot an order of green salad. I got a refund for the Baja beef and the salad from Uber Eats, but not for the grilled cheese since my little girl did not take a picture. I will never buy from them again! They deserve a negative star!

Service is terrible!! No workers, no obvious manager or training. Its always like this. I won't be back.

Out of 13 tables , 3 were clean and it was not busy. The girl at the register was mediocre at best and not helpful or seemed like she wanted to be working, , and the kid at the bar was drinking his soda as a person was waiting for him to ask for a beer.. If I was the owner, I'd be bummed my restaurant was SO dirty ..

The sandwiches are delicious. The service is great. Very clean. Several televisions for viewing. We will return.

Love board and brew in general but this one in Poway is the bomb! Usually have the Baja wrap but one I had here on Saturday was the best ever. Fresh and tasty and very generous on the ingredients. Other sandwiches and a salad were excellent as well. Great beer selection with all beers $4 for the whole month of November. Beautiful space with large patio. Oh and the employees are so nice. Impressive spot in Poway.

Great time! Had the West-coast Pastrami and a Hazy IPA after spending the morning on the range. Huge selection of sandwiches and great service. The outdoor patio seating was perfect for a cool California lunch while people watching. The beer was ice cold and the sandwich was piping hot! Couldn't ask for a better time. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Date of visit: December 4, 2021 It was the opening weekend of Board & Brew's newest location in Poway, and as their social media team had promoted a BOGO, figured I'd get some brunch after dropping off my sharps containers off of Miramar and getting some cardio done afterwards. I ordered their Baja Beef ($13.95) and their Vegi Supreme (normally $8.50 - this one was my BOGO); the Baja Beef came out nice and fresh, with the combination of grilled steak, onions, jalapeno peppers, and melted jack cheese on a toasted baguette hitting the spicy spot (and yes, this sandwich is on the spicy side). The Secret Sauce - which I had on the side - added a bit more to the flavor. Although I intended to use the Vegi Supreme for my lunch the following Monday, turns out that even in a sandwich, alfalfa sprouts don't really keep well over the weekend... I do like their Dirty Chips ($2), and the environs are pretty clean. Plus, the music selection is very eclectic; they were playing everything from Foo Fighters to A Tribe Called Quest. The staff were pretty friendly and attentive as well. Although I'm physically closer to the Board & Brew location in Scripps Ranch, I wish the Poway crew best of luck in their new locale!

Was sent this as a recommendation as they have great gluten free options. Sandwiches are huge!! Could definitely share. The GF wraps are good-not great but good as a solid GF option. Everything comes with tons of meat. If you want to modify I would suggest calling as some of the options to change aren't available online like changing the type of mustard. If you want the standard options online ordering is great. They are also very fast. We ordered 3 sandwiches and 2 wraps and they were ready in 15 min.

DO NOT EAT HERE! My family and I got really bad stomach illnesses/food poisoning. My wife and our youngest split a chicken club sandwich and felt it later that night and into the next day. My poor little 8 year old was doubled over and crying from the pain in his stomach. (The kid who didn't try the chicken was totally fine) I took a small bite to try it and my stomach is still messed up with the same symptoms a month and a half later. AVOID THE CHICKEN, DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION or DON'T EAT HERE AT ALL! I don't want anyone else feeling these stomach issues I'm going through now. It's going to be a long time before we come back again which is disappointing because we've loved it up to this point.

The food is good, same as any other board and brew, but the service isn't great. Tried to put in an order online (multiple times), and it didn't work, so I called, no one answered the phone. Ended up going in and putting in my order, at least that went quickly.

Board and Brew has been one of my favorite sandwich shops since I lived in Del Mar and I'm loving that they're expanding throughout San Diego. I Turkado sandwich will always be my go-to.

Waited in line for birthday hook up and came up short for free joy‍‍‍ We just thought we'd be taken care of for going outta of our way for the 1 year bash. Love B&B and my daughter always goes back when she's in town from college. Sucks thought we were going for free Turkados and ended up Spending $100 and got a free bag of chips and some jazz. Love the beer selection and awesome place setting for a SD sub. Need to get back!

Meryl contacted me and offered a refund and a gift card to try them again. So ordered another Tukado but just realized it doesn't come with Bacon. The missing ingredient. So added that to my order and everything to good now. I will be back. Thanks again Meryl.

I want to like this place, but the staff really lacks care at this location and seems to only be interested in hanging out. Today I ordered a beef dip to-go, and when I opened the bag, the au jus was upside down so half the au jus leaked out and was a huge mess. It wasn't like it moved to the position it was in, whoever packed it literally turned the container upside down to fit it in the bag. Also, the online platform has a lot of glitches, which is unacceptable as this location does not answer phone. The prices keep getting higher (plus the obligation to tip) and it makes me question whether it is worth the hassle to eat here because I don't think the people working here actually give af.

This is our second time in a row, going into the store to order our sandwiches. I always get a Turkey Deluxe extra turkey and my husband orders the Baja Beef. We get home and there is no Baja Beef just a plain dry turkey sandwich. Sad that we they cannot get the orders correct. It wasn't even busy when we went. When we go the one in Mira Mesa or 4S Ranch we never have this problem.

Great Service!!! Sandwich was fresh, I had a veggie, nice patio and bar! Plenty of parking, this was my first time trying this restaurant, staff were super helpful.

What we thought: If you're looking for a fresh veggie speciality sandwich in the burbs, look no further. This sandwich hits the spot. This place just opened up, so don't mind the vibe - they're still figuring it out. Come for the food and stay for the beer. We ordered a Enegren Schöner Tag Hefeweizen for $3.50. Can't beat it. What we rated it: 5/5 -- Another time: What we ordered: 1. Veggie Supreme Cheddar: jack cheese, cucumber, mayo, onions, lettuce, tomato & sprouts topped with avocado on squaw bread 2. Potato Salad What we thought: This has quickly become our #1 spot for a fresh veggie sandwich. The sweetness in the sqaw bread, mixed with the delicious veggies, guac, and fresh cheese is unbeatable. YUM that special sauce they have takes these sandwiches to the next level! I love how fresh the ingredients are, and the sandwich combinations they have are both unique and classic at the same time. Good sized sandwiches, great bread, and high quality ingredients plus that sauce - you can't go wrong! I don't drink alcohol, but I see they have a large selection of beers on tap and a nice bar setup in half the restaurant. There's also a good variety of non-alcoholic beverages. Plenty of seating inside and outside, they'll bring the sandwiches to your table or call your name if you order takeout. Happy to have a Board & Brew in Poway!

I went there on a busy day but the service was good and the wait was about 10 minutes for sandwiches, which isn't bad. Most sandwiches are around $10 and they're decently filling. I had the baja chicken and the flavor was good, however, it was a little on the greasy side. Considering the ingredients in it, it may be impossible to make it not greasy though. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious and there's a bar near the patio with a good selection of beers on tap. There's also some TVs spread around so it's not a bad place to hang out with grab some beers and food with friends.

Amazing atmosphere and great service! The food is always to order and extremely fresh. Would totally recommend. Lauren and Andy are fun people to talk to.

First time at Board & Brew, Lauren immediately greeted me with a smile. As a first timer, she game me some of her favorites and I was not disappointed at all! Make sure to get the spicy habanero sauce it is fire (delicious & spicy) I love spicy. Thanks again to Lauren and the rest of the B&B crew!
