"Lebanese street food is the specialty of this locally beloved spot. Gyros and falafel wraps are on offer, as are chicken shawarma, beef kafta, baba ghanoush, and fattoush. This place makes a strong argument for leaving fast food in the rearview." - Courtney E. Smith

Google
Absolutely loved the shawarma, kafta with rice and baba ganuj at this place! The flavors were authentic and absolutely delicious. What really made the experience stand out was the excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Will definitely be coming back for more!

The food was delicious, particularly the chicken shawarma bowl. The service was excellent.

Google
I highly recommend this place the experience as far as a restaurant is concerned was top-notch in all aspects. The employees were all very very courteous from the time we stepped in they had recommendations because it was the first time I had been in there me and my girlfriend took more than 5 minutes to decide they were very patient and made sure that our order was correct. Didn't have much of a wait time considering all the food there is made from scratch the reason I know is that the owner/chef Hassan took the time to introduce himself and explain exactly how his restaurant works and the food that he I absolutely appreciate someone who owns something and still has love for what they do you could taste it in the food. They offer A lot of vegan options as well. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great experience and meal. I got the falafel Rice bowl baba ganoush and the falafel bites

Google
Real Rating is 6.5/10 - it's not pretending to be a high-end establishment, and is of good quality when compared to the neighboring fast food spots. Food: Falafel bites were by far the best thing I had here - definitely want to give the Falafel wrap a try next time. In true fast food fashion, eat while hot though, they lose much of their greatness as they lose their heat. The Kafta wrap was either not my pallet or just a very mediocre mesh of meat and a horrible combination of sauce and veggies. Weirdly acidic with the meat being very gummy and nearly tasteless while the sauce was overbearing. The chicken rice was good. That's it, there wasn't much to it besides a ton of rice, a bit of chicken and sauce. Really could've used some additional vegetables, since it wasn't the highest quality to begin with. Service & Ambience: A halal Lebanese take on Chipotle would be the best description. High-ish quality fast food. Nothing wrong with that at all. Clean and bright restaurant where you'd want to go during your lunch break. My Order: Kafta Wrap [2.5/5] Falafel Bites [4/5] Chicken Rice [3.5/5]

Google
This is a family owned restaurant that offer amazing food. Their hummus and falafel is amazing. All their food is delicious especially the Sujook wrap it’s my favorite. Everything is fresh and made to order. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is super clean. Their lentil soup is must try.

Google
Every time I come here, i have a great experience and enjoy the food. When I taste the hummus, falafel , salads …., it tastes like the original authentic Lebanese/Jordanian/Palestinian food. It’s very fresh and yummy. Absolutely one of the best Mediterranean restaurants that have good quality food that is hard to find. The place is very clean.

Google

Yelp
The food is amazing, fresh and very tasty. The service was good, friendly and professional people. Very recommended.

Yelp
Went to Plano to see my son and his team play against D1 Collin college :decided to try Board Bites Lebanese restaurant. I had the falafel; gyro and ghanoush. Everything was outstanding! Will go back.

Laurence R.

Yelp
A good neighborhood place when you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary. Quick, simple, and good.

Mrittika G.

Yelp
The vibe inside was pretty chill and service was fast. The falafel was the best I've ever had and the hummus was so smooth and creamy. The pita was fresh, warm, and so soft. The gyro was pretty good but I would have liked it better if the meat wasn't in chunks.

Sara H.

Yelp
Finally tried this place for the first time and it was good overall. Got a chicken wrap, a beef wrap, and chicken bowl. The chicken wrap was the best, the beef wrap was a little dry, meat wasn't the best. Great customer service and nice clean restaurant.

Yelp
Walked in around 7:20 pm on a Friday night. There were a few families seated, eating. This was our first time here, visiting from out of town. The cashier was friendly. They have booths, bar-style seating, regular tables, and high-tops. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Rice Bowl with extra sauce, and an order of Grape Leaves. My husband ordered the same bowl, side of Tzatziki Sauce, and an order of fries. The chicken was sliced nice and thin, just how I like it. It was flavorful and the rice was as expected. I wish they'd add a bit of crunchy lettuce to the bowl, those are always my favorite shawarma bowls, as it's such a good balance. The Grape Leaves were a nice appetizer but lacked a little flavor, though I've only had it at a few other restaurants, so I don't have much to compare it to. Overall, I'm happy and full. :)

Amanda L.

Yelp
I wanted to really like this place, but I was admittedly a little disappointed. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and was a little bit surprised that it only came with chicken, rice and white sauce. I felt like it needed something fresh/lighter to balance out the meal. Although the rice was really good, there was wayyy too much white sauce for my liking. However paired with the hot sauce it helped a lot. Inside it is very modern and clean. Service is also great; you can tell it's a local/homey place. Maybe I ordered wrong though, I would probably get a shawarma wrap if I came back next time.

MingYang L.

Yelp
Clean restaurant, fast service, good food. Did not wow me and overall, I felt the wraps could use more sauce to compensate for the dry meat. But overall, good food, would come back again and just as for more sauce.

Jesika H.

Yelp
The falafel wrap, YUMMMM! Its wrapped like a tight skinny long burrito and the falafel itself is flavorful and kinda mushy! I asked for garlic and white sauce on the side and the white sauce was a sweet surprise LITERALLY! NY gyro cart on the side of the street white sauce is NOT SWEET at all. This one was but it worked! The end.

Helen G.

Yelp
Food was okay but nothing special, nothing I would particularly come back for. We got the spicy batata and this was the best thing we got, I think this itself would be 4 or 5 stars. It was well spiced and hot, crunchy on the outside and soft, and came with a side of sour cream. We also got the kafta bowl and chicken shawarma bowl, which were okay but not special. The white sauce on the chicken bowl tasted weird, and the kafta bowl came with tomato sauce that tasted like only tomato sauce, no other spices. The beef in the kafta bowl was pretty sweet and tender, but the rice in both bowls was just plain basmati rice with no onions or spice at all. I think with spices in the rice the kafta bowl could be a 4/5. Service was good, food came out fast and they bring it out to you. The interior is clean and simple, with some relaxing music in the back. TLDR; food is not special, it is okay but lacking in flavor. Probably not going to come back except for the potatoes which were really good.

Cirwan S.

Yelp
Man this was honestly some of the best shawarma I have ever had. I was blessed to try the beef and chicken wraps which is like a doner. I have been to Turkey and their shawarma and this tops it. I tried Their falafel bites which were so steamy and fresh ! Also had their side of hummus and baba ganoosh with some pita. Definitely coming back here to try the rest of the menu. The restaurant was clean, lots of space to sit and the cashier was so helpful in explaining the menu. So great !!

Sandeep G.

Yelp
A good clean family-run restaurant that has a modern decor. The food is fresh has good flavors and is served hot. Real hot! We ordered Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Falafel Bowl (rice), and Spicy Batata. The wrap was well-toasted and assembled. The filling did not come out even till the last bite. Batata (Potatoes) were fried to perfection and the flavor though spicy was not overwhelming. The Falafel were cooked well but the issue with the bowl was, that it was just rice, Falafel and sauce. No veggies for some crunch or flavors. Definitely a very good place for Lebanese food.

Shweta B.

Yelp
The name does not suggest it, but this place seems like an authentic Lebanese street food shop. We tried the baba ghanoush and hummus which were both yummy. The shawarma and falafel wrap came in very thin pita which made the filling to pita ratio perfect. The shawarma was well spiced. The spicy potatoes are good too! The baklava however was not so great - too greasy. The place has good seating and a decent vibe.

Denisa M.

Yelp
so yummy! Great service, they go out of the way to make the experience of dining with them a good one.

PJ K.

Yelp
Delicious food. Made fresh. I had the gyro side portion, falafel bites, and hummus. Delicious. Dipping the fresh falafel into the well oiled hummus. To die for

Mosheer A.

Yelp
I eat here a lot. I've had chicken shawarma, beef Shawarma, falafel, hummus, salad ...... etc. Fresh, authentic taste, very good food quality and very clean place. Customer service is great and the owner is very nice.

Dennis S.

Yelp
We have passed this place so many times we figured it was really time to check it out. Good call. The place is very bright and clean and the folks are friendly and efficient. I had the Gyro wrap and it was excellent

summer b.

Yelp
10/10 the best food I have had in a long time. Everything tasted so fresh. The food was soooo yummy and seasoned so well. Every bite was better than the last. And the owner, Hassan, nicest guy I've met! Took care of us, gave us complimentary falafel; which was some of the best I've had. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Jacob F.

Yelp
Food is absolutely delicious; we come here weekly!! I'm a former professional chef who also spent years living in the Middle East. It's just as good as I remember. The staff is ALWAYS welcoming and the service is prompt. We love the vibes of the other people who come as well! Definitely recommend coming to try it out!

Daniel S.

Yelp
I recently dined at Board Bites, and got the Fattoush Salad with chicken while my girlfriend got the Falafel Wrap. The food was excellent, including the perfectly creamy hummus. The service was friendly and attentive, and we highly recommend Board Bites for anyone wanting authentic Lebanese street food. We'll definitely be back soon!

Sophia M.

Yelp
My friend & I were attending a conference at Collin College. We decided to stop here for lunch! The service is amazing & the owner is super sweet & attentive! He knew it was our first time there so he brought us Falafel samples which were yummy! I had the Chicken Shawarna which was good. I prefer white Basmati rice over the yellow. However, it didn't appear to be an option! The ambiance is just a chilled & laid back spot!!

Sarah R.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place, but was pretty underwhelmed with the quality of the food. Upon opening my order, which was the chicken rice plate, there was a very stinky chicken smell. It almost smell like they just boiled chicken and added seasoning. The rice and white sauce were okay. This place didn't live up to the high reviews. Service was good, so nothing against the workers. The food was just very mediocre!

Elaine M.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect when I stopped in to grab lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to find Lebanese Street Food! I really wanted a wrap and got the chicken wrap. Wow it was chicken shawarma with veg and the sauce!!! So flavorful. I loved that the wrap was tightly wrapped and easy to eat. Meat was flavorful and I'll definitely be back with girlfriends to get the rice bowls. Plenty of seating and bright from the windows. It's a perfect place to meet up!

Julie S.

Yelp
It was our first time here. We were greeted warmly by the owner, who told us to take our time. We had shawarma combo, some falafel bites and baba ghanoush. Everything was fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be back to try different food from the menu.

Dowd W.

Yelp
Kafta, the fattoush salad, and falafel were all delicious! The salad dressing was really nice. Any of their proteins would pair nicely with the salad. The chicken shawarma wrap was very solid and I liked it. Great value for the price! Friendly service. Highly recommend!

Danny N.

Yelp
Pretty solid place for some good Lebanon food. Atmosphere was nice, customer service was outstanding. I think the only thing was my gyro had a TON of onions in it with only like 3 or 4 pieces of lamb.

Gayle G.

Yelp
This Lebanese Street Food restaurant has several vegan options. I went for the falafel pita wrap combo, which comes with fries and ketchup and a drink. It was truly the best falafel I have ever had. I love falafel sandwiches, and I get them every chance I get at restaurants that offer them. I have rarely had one that I didn't like, but the one at Board Bites was really unique. It has pickle, parsley, and radish along with the falafel patties, tahini sauce, and tomato. The pickle and parsley especially bring it to a new flavor high. I don't live near the place, but I will find an excuse to be in Plano and try one of the other vegan dishes. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, and I got a chance to sample a falafel patty before my meal arrived. The dining room is clean and attractive with nice traditional music at a good level that doesn't down out talking.

Monali D.

Yelp
One of the best falafel wraps I have had so far. We did a takeout and loved it so much. Everything about the wrap was so fresh and tasty - the pita, parsley, radish, tomatoes and the tahini sauce! I loved the wrap as is but I would add baba ghanoush, extra tahini or harissa (hot sauce) for more flavor! Cannot wait to dine in here. Highly recommend this place!

Linda B.

Yelp
Best old fashioned ever! I can't remember what else we ate, but the bartender makes a great old fashioned !! Oh, we had chachuterie

Ireon B.

Yelp
I was craving chicken shawarma and remembered passing this place by .. I checked the reviews and 2 or 3 recent ones mentioned dry chicken and bland taste so I was a bit turned off. I'm glad I decided to walk in and ask to have a sample of their chicken before I wrote them off. The chicken is incredibly flavorful and not incredibly dry like some people have said they've experienced. I ordered the chicken shawarma with beef shawarma toppings and was very satisfied. The garlic sauce is creamy and packs flavor. The hot sauce has a nice bite that doesn't linger so you can continue to enjoy it with each bite. There wasn't much ambiance .. jus a chill sit and eat place, nothing too crazy .. everyone minding their business and enjoying the food. The service was accommodating and efficient. On my way out the man behind the counter offered me a fresh falafel sample and I'm still thinking about the falafel right now. It was delicious. I will be back.

Carol P.

Yelp
Food is hot and delicious. The service is phenomenal. The owner went above and beyond to make my visit perfect. The inside is very clean and homey.

Richard T.

Yelp
Best falafel in town. Not dry, but moist, delicate, and flavorful. Chicken shawarma was perfect and hit the spot. Good great, tables and chairs were immaculate. Nice heavy duty chairs. Heck, even the toilet paper is extra soft. Attention to detail is great here. 10/10

Bekka D.

Yelp
Amazing service and food! I came here with my fiancé for the first time today. When we came in, the owner and his daughter greeted us and were so friendly. The owner was making the food personally. I'm vegan and they have many vegan options. I ordered the falafel pita wrap, which had parsley, tahini, and pickles inside. Amazing flavor combination and best falafel I've ever had! The owner also gave us a complimentary falafel, hummus, and baba ghanoush platter, which was so kind of him. I will definitely be returning! Reasonably priced delicious food with an owner and staff who really put a personal family touch on the whole dining experience.

Yaadvinder Singh L.

Yelp
Average food.... Taste is just okay.... Chicken and rice was okay, gyro sandwich and beef shawarma sandwich was also just okay... I would consider it as 2.5 not even 3 I personally feel Pita Town is way above in their food taste.

Supriya P.

Yelp
We visited this place hoping to enjoy the traditional Lebanese food. Very disappointing bland food is all we got! chicken was dry and smelly! Falafel is not that great either!

Rebecka Z.

Yelp
Casual order-at-counter, Mediterranean restaurant with some solid, basic items that you can find at most other similar restaurants. It has a cool, industrial-modern look to the inside with brick walls and light fixtures made of metal pipes and Edison bulbs. We found them on Yelp and decided to pop in for a visit and we were quite pleased with our decision. We started with the shawarma bites which were fried to crispy perfection on the outside and the inside was wonderfully seasoned with the cumin shining through and not too dry. My husband had the chicken shawarma bowl and the chicken with cooked perfectly tender and moist and the turmeric rice underneath was fluffy and delicious. I opted for the kafta rice bowl which is topped with a tomato sauce that I honestly fell in love with. I can't wait to go back again and try some other items, I love baba ghanoush and will certainly have to try it on our next visit.

Rita B.

Yelp
By far, THE best Shawarma in DFW, and one of the best I've had in my life!! Super clean place, great vibes and delicious food! 5* service and excellent attention to detail at the restaurant.

Shihab A.

Yelp
This is the most amazing place ever the customer service was above and beyond we felt right at home the place was clean and the food was amazing the food was as so good that I felt like it was the most authentic food I've had in a while I highly recommend this place to anyone and I will be back for more in the future

Lamis N.

Yelp
Love love love. I was having a hard time finding a good beef shawarma place in Dallas, so far this place did it for me. I placed a pickup order and everything came exactly Like I wanted. The beef was well seasoned and the wrap was delicious. The kubbeh is good so is the falafel. Also, the staff was kind and friendly. My son spilled some ice on the floor and they were so kind about it. Price is good. Definitely coming here again.

S H.

Yelp
Just okay. The chicken shawarma rice bowl was okay but the white sauce was weirdly sweet. Fattoush salad is usually one of my favorites but the dressing had a weird taste - too sweet as well - so it was not good and small for the price. The lentil soup and potatoes were good. Pretty expensive for nothing special.

Grant C.

Yelp
A fantastic restaurant with great service, superb food and a good price Mediterranean, healthy food

Jacob M.

Yelp
Well to start off: Service -- Ok cleanliness -- Good Food -- 4/10 The only good thing on the menu was the Falafels, the chicken was very dry.

Isabel P.

Yelp
Love at first bite and sight! Today was my first time in, and truly fell in love. The people were incredibly kind, hospitable and the food was delicious. We needed a catering order and got that placed with ease. This will be a new place for us to dine in also. The facility was clean, food was fresh and it is family owned. 10/10 recommend!

Sum W.

Yelp
Great Shawarma and fries. The bonus was getting a hot falafel while eating there. Staff are kind and welcoming.

Jordan B.

Yelp
Great food, would absolutely recommend this place. Their wraps are all delicious and I love their gyro. Definitely give this spot a try.

Daina E.

Yelp
Food is amazingly fresh!! The baba ghanoush was delicious! They gyro and falafel wet also very amazing. I would highly recommend this place!!

Angie B.

Yelp
It had a chain feel- not sure if it is one or not. Food and service was good. Sure we will return.

Kera L.

Yelp
Delicious!! I had the Kafta Rice Bowl and some hummus. There was a combination of spices in the sauce/kafta that were just perfect! I also bought their baklava - BEST BAKLAVA I HAVE EVER HAD!! Not overly sweet but definitely satisfying as a dessert. Slight crunch of filo on the top, slight crunch from the nuts, definitely a little sticky but honestly perfect!! Just what I needed! Service was prompt and very friendly! Food came out at a reasonable time (like 5 mins?) and was hot!

Nadia B.

Yelp
It's delicious and time may be little longer. I would go there again someday In'sha'allah

Haidy S.

Yelp
Sharwerma sandwich substandard and over priced. Customer service was good easy to order and food came out fast it just did not taste good.
