Brought my kid in for a "buddy cut", which according to the brochure includes cut, wash, and style.
Kid did not get a wash at first. When I asked the receptionist, they said they usually do that at the end. At the end, they didn't do it. I had to ask for it because I'm not paying $45 for just a cut. Even after the wash, there were still all of these little hairs around his face and ears.
We had hoped to keep some of the length. Trimming the front but shortening the back. The hairstylist used the shaver to trim the length in a feathering technique instead of using scissors. Because the result was so close to the head, the haircut ended up looking overly choppy.
After we left, kid shared that the scissors were really rough. Said that my haircutting skills during COVID were far better than what he just experienced.
TBH, We should have just stuck to our $20 barber. I cannot imagine spending more on this place.
