My brother and I went for brunch on a Sunday around 1130 and understandably there was a bit of a wait. It was a cute little mom and pop like diner vibe mixed with coastal decor.
Once we were sat l, the server Sophia came over. I ordered a mimosa and she told me no alcohol sales on Sunday (I personally think this should be on the menu). She didn't offer any other options and seemed at after us that received food faster. My brother ordered the buffalo wrap with no onions and a side salad. As a prior server, I would have mentioned there are onions on the salad... but she didn't. Both the salad and the wrap came out loaded with red onions. I ordered the over board with bacon, hash browns, eggs over medium and a pancake (the menu also said bread I think). His food came out, mine was about 3 minutes behind.. other than the pancake and toast. She came back and said it should be out soon. We were never asked if we needed anything else when the food was delivered. When she came back to let me know it still wasn't ready I informed her of the onions in the wrap as, and she just said sorry and walked away. She delivered food to the table behind us (in a piecemeal fashion) and i got her attention and told her just to not worry about bringing the pancake since I was almost done. She asked if we wanted the wrap remade and I asked how long it would take.. she didn't have any ballpark guess so we said no. She brought the check and I asked for it to be updated to reflect the breakfast combo without the pancake since I didn't receive it.. she kept telling me "it wasn't extra". The price was a dollar difference. After the wrong items, no ketchup/hot sauce/etc, and missing items, I feel that was a reasonable request. We then saw her at the counter speaking to a woman in a black chef coat (assuming manager), this woman bussed the table next to us before the check was dropped off, and never came to speak to us. Sophia then came to ask if she could take our plates as my card was out and we had waited. Again, from being in the service industry for many years during college and frad school, cues should be taken to take the payment and then come back for plates.
It was so disappointing that the service and customer service was so poor and the kitchen wasn't coordinated because the menu looked promising.
