Boathouse on the Bay

It's good for what you can get at the airport? We chose between this and the wine bar across the way, and think we made the right choice. Fish and chips ($24) was surprisingly really good! Couldn't believe beer was $16, so we passed. Would maybe give it a 4 but prices hurt for what we got Service was quite crowded on a Thursday evening 5pm time. Took about 10-15 minutes before we got serviced.

Got a decent breakfast from here while waiting for a flight at LGB. There were only a few customers when I was there. Service was quick. Servers were quite attentive and caring. Food was good. Just the flavor I wanted! Inside seating was a bit limited. Outside was cold in a winter morning but it’s doable.

Giovanni was fun, very entertaining. Charisma galore. So professional with waitressing functions, even communicating with other staff. A valuable asset for Boat House restaurant at Long Beach international.

Giovanna had an awesome personality and customer service. Perfect atmosphere for waiting for our early flight. Highly recommend. She has an amazing energy!! We didn’t eat the food but had cocktails, which were delicious!

Giovanna was a delight. Very attentive and high energy with excellent costumer service. She would automatically bring me things before I could even think to ask, refills, extra hot sauce for my burrito. She made my 1 hour flight delay actually pleasant. Highly recommend!

Giovanna is a hustler!! I appreciate even with the amount of customers she has to deal with, she still lets the customers know what’s going on.i enjoyed my coffee and breakfast at the bar. In today’s society, it’s refreshing to see someone WORK their butt off. Note: You are at an airport , so pack some patience.

Food is decent for being airport food, but the drinks are fantastic, well made cocktails. My server Giovanna was incredible, friendly and very convincing on upselling many with a drink to go while they walk through the airport. Open atmosphere and the nicest spot to wait in the Long Beach airport.

Giovanna was an amazing bartender!!! The restaurant was understaffed, but Giovanna handled her customers like no other. She greeted everyone as they arrived and quickly served them!! IT WAS AMAZING TO WATCH HER WORK!!
