This is a relaxing by the shore restaurant. This restaurant has some of the most beautiful views of the water and amazing sunsets. Haley was our server. The food was delicious and served with a proper portion. The cocktails 🍹 were also mixed well and not over priced. They also have an awesome happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Service was fast and Parking is free. This is a trendy crowd. This is a great date night restaurant or to come watch a game. TV’s are visible from the patio area. The patio has heaters as well at a fire pit area. There is a neat area with neon signs for a picture perfect photo.

I wanted to love this place, but the service and upkeep missed the mark. The vibe is very casual and it's not the cleanest place. Someone said the crowd is trendy and I disagree, but the views are nice. I had the seabass and it was delicious, but slow. Unfortunately, our waitress really did not care to help us at all and this was probably the biggest disappointment. I had to ask someone for silverware and later I went to the bar myself for water because our waitress vanished until we eventually were able to flag her down to pay and leave.

We had a reservation for 4 on Friday evening. We were sat right away on a booth closest to the water. Our server Jeff came right away and took our drink order. The $17 margaritas were just ok, nothing out of this world. The $24 calamari were almost burnt and the portion not worth it. It seems like the oil needs to be changed in the deep fryer. Our food was decent but a nice hot salsa would compliment the fish tacos a lot better than Tapatio or Pico de gallo. The cinnamon cheesecake was OK, a little too sweet and very expensive. The experience was OK overall but the price for what they are serving is just too much. We won't be rushing back any time soon. Maybe to check out happy hour with the deals. Where a margarita is $10 instead of $17. I do have to admit the location is nice but charge what you want but give the customer something worth your charge. Just my thoughts...

My boyfriend and I were here recently. I wanted to take him somewhere really nice for his birthday. Everything was great, except his Alaskan King Crab dinner. It came with one claw "cut in half" garlic mashed potatoes, with vegetables. The Crab was over steamed, and the cost was $95.00 for such a "small portion". It wasn't enough to even share his crab. He still wanted me to taste it. I ordered the fish and chips, and my portion size was sharable! That was really good, along with the clam chowder. His dinner was disappointing being overcooked, and I felt overcharged. There was a live band and a wonderful view.

Ordered their fish and chips, standard middle of the road fish and chips. Nothing bad and doesn’t stand out. Also got their lemon drop roll, that was pretty tasty. For a Wednesday evening their patio was packed and very noisy. Great view of the marina.

Google
5 star experience across the board. Our server and the staff were great, the view was spectacular, and the atmosphere with the live musician was awesome. A bit pricey but well worth it as the food was also delicious 😋🤤. We had shrimp scampi and the fish tacos.

We've visited Boathouse at least 3 times, a few times we sat outside on the patio, we have also sat at the bar. The service has been outstanding both inside and outside. As well, the variety of dishes (and cocktails) we have ordered have all been very good. Live music on the patio, great food, and ocean views... We'll be back.

The food was ok. Really like my dish of scallop and the oysters were good. Dessert chocolate crème brûlée was good.

Yelp
So tonight my husband and I went out on our first date after having a baby. My husband chose this place because of the reviews & many friends raved about it when we told them we were going. We show up and are greeted by our nice server. We ate the sushi & that was OK (SUSHI DELIGHT in Lomita is WAYYYY better) Then we decided to order our entrees. We waited a little while but we didn't mind since we got our appetizers & weren't in a rush. My husband went to the restroom, while I was wondering where our food was at I kept looking at where the cooks leave the food; I saw tacos there for a while & started watching to see if it was ours. The next time I turn around I see Hannah (waitress gave us her name) throwing the insides of the taco shell into the trash can. I thought that was interesting bc why isn't she throwing the whole thing away if something is wrong w it? At this point the hostess saw me looking & Hannah too so Hannah put the empty taco shells back on the plate w the taco dividers. With the rice and beans (that was all sitting there for a while) My husband came back and I told him to watch them cause I think that's our food, when we both turned around Hannah was wiping the taco shells w a napkin(our server was now standing next to her and the hostess left) wiping off the sauce and leftover cabbage, like they were going to reuse the shells. Also, they were laughing as they were doing this. When they turned around and saw that we witnessed everything. Our server Malia, quickly walked away & Hannah motioned to the cooks to remake the entire meal. Then we called the manager over to tell him what we witnessed & all he did was ask if we wanted a new plate. He was not helpful or remorseful what so ever. As he was asking this , malia comes with "fresh" tacos. We did not want the tacos anymore & we asked for our check. We won't be returning here and we will be telling our friends who raved about this place about our horrible experience. This was so so unprofessional & honestly disgusting. These women acted like children w our food & this place deserves a visit from the health department since they treat peoples food this way. I also want to add that between her emptying the tacos & wiping them she was touching the ordering screen & then touching the tacos. No washing hands , nothing. So unsanitary.

Yelp
I've always liked the Boathouse, except for this time. We came for dinner. We ordered couple glasses of wine and my friend's glass was clean. My glass on the other hand I didn't notice until the second taste the glass stem was sticky and there were some prints on the bowl of the glass. I made the excuse that maybe they were busy. Maybe the servers hands were dirty. Maybe he touched something and grabbed my glass or maybe the bartender was making something but either way the glass was dirty. Without making a fuss, I had to take my black napkin wipe some condensation off my water glass and clean the stem of my wine glass. All I did was turn the glass and drank from it on the clean side. Cassidy was our server and was training over seeing a new guy server. Secondly, I love fish and chips! I've had them from the Eldo, from EJ Malloy's, from the 908, the Yard House but amazingly this one was bland and I was like scratching my head. Something was off for basic fish and chips. I don't think this would be my dish ever at this restaurant. Aside from that everything else was nice, atmosphere, hostess was nice and sat us by the window yet I left feeling disappointed. You guys had a bad hiccup.

Yelp
I brought my wife here to have brunch and let me tell you, it was perfect! The food was super good! We had a great view of the beachfront. They also had a musician playing some very relaxing music. The service was great as well. The staff were very friendly and checked up on us regularly, which is a plus because I tend to use a lot of napkins lol I also recommend making a reservation online for weekend brunch. This place did seem to get a bit busy after the 10am hour.

Yelp
We came to brunch on a Saturday at 1pm. We did make a reservation and when we booked it online there was plenty of times available and they weren't packed nor was anyone waiting to get seated. We ordered a bowl of the clam chowder which they split it up for us in cups. I thought the clam chowder was okay-it didn't have much flavor. It was mid. The bread they brought out was okay too. I thought it tasted a bit odd. We shared the coo coo's nest which was delicious! In the bottom there were biscuits, topped with tater tots, eggs, chicken and the gravy. We both loved it and it is very sharable. We also got an orange juice and an iced coffee which was okay, they don't have specialty coffees. This place was okay, I was expecting more after reading the reviews.

Yelp
Amazing view, great service, excellent food. However, it's may not be the best place for meetings due to the noise.

Yelp
3. 5 stars rounded up! Here's why: Awesome ambiance for Sunday brunch. Beautiful view of the marina, live music, festive vibe. Family and I dined here for birthday celebratory Sunday Brunch. I believe you have the option to be seated inside or on the patio. Patio was our area of choice because...why not?! Service was a really good. We had an attentive young lady who made sure we were good. She was also great with telling us about the specials and running down the libation offerings. Here's where Boathouse on the Bay falls a bit. The food was pretty average for your typical brunch fair. The presentation was lovely. I am a sucker for a pretty plate. But the taste was standard. I ordered the French Toast and a side of bacon. If returning, I will be sure to try another menu option...perhaps a burger or sandwich. Final Thoughts: This place is a total cute place to visit with friends on a beautiful SoCal day. I won't cross it off my list.

Yelp
We stopped here for a last minute lunch date. We were starving and immediately ordered our food and drinks. They were out of the lychee ingredients, so I opted for a pear martini instead. Our waiter Brandon was friendly, but midway through our meal, I guessed he switched and we had a new server without any communication to us. We saw Brandon still waiting other tables near us but we had someone else serving us. We noticed our new server had given another table that had just sat down some bread and butter while they browsed the menu. We were not offered bread or butter when we were seated, as I mentioned we were starving so we would have wanted the bread had we known it's something they offer. I asked our new waiter if this is standard service, to provide bread to tables as they are seated, and she said yes. When asked why we weren't able offered any bread, she could not give us an answer. Other tables around us were given bread as we continued to watch. I'm not sure why we were excluded from this service but we will definitely not return as we felt this was intentional.

Yelp
We celebrated my birthday here, courtesy of a gift card sent to me by a dear friend from Australia. The food has improved, and the service has gotten even better. Perhaps we were just lucky that we had Bert covering our table, but he made us all feel special. It wasn't just a professional interaction--he talked to us like a friendly uncle. He asked me about my work, and also inquired my son about sports and college. I loved my sea bass, and my son truly enjoyed his scallops. My wife savored her burger with a heap of sweet potato fries. The sea bass was nestled in a warm bed of creamy and buttery mashed potato, but the accompanying seared mushroom and asparagus was shockingly flavorful and smokey. Sweet nuts topped off the fish, which completed the perfect potpourri of flavors. The only thing missing was the view. By the time we arrived at our dinner reservation at 6:00 pm, it was already dark out. I was hoping to catch the residual splendor of dusk, but with falling back to daylight saving time, the colors were long gone from the sky. Parking was quite a mad house on a Friday night, but at least it's free.

Yelp
Although this place is cute and intimate. Honestly the TikTok that got me here was more interesting than the restaurant itself. While it has a nice ambiance I had French toast and it was just meh. The service was great The waitress was super kind and helpful. My friend loved the chicken and waffles. We sat in the patio area that Overlooks the aqualink. Parking is free. Will revisit but order Something else.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to anchor our hunger to The Boathouse on the Bay for the Weekend Breakfast on Sunday. Unfortunately, the consistency of the food experience was a bit choppy. THE GOOD: - The views of Alamitos Bay in Long Beach is spectacular. Ask for a table seating close to the windows so you can enjoy blue skies and water during the meal. We were seated one table away from the window and had a beautiful view to enjoy - a huge plus of this restaurant. - The service, overall, was good and attentive. Our entire experience, from checking in, to have our orders taken with a friendly woman, to food delivery timing was pretty smooth. - The drinks were very tasty. I had a local draft beer, while my date had a delicious Regatta Colada ($17), a blend of Myers' Blonde Rum Disaronno Amaretto & Giffard Orgeat with Fresh Lime Juice and Pineapple Juice. It was tasty, not too sweet and satisfying. THE BAD: - Unfortunately, the food wasn't the best quality, especially for the premium prices. I had the Bayside Omelette ($24), which was prepared with Lobster, Shrimp, Crab, Green Onion, Swiss Cheese and Confit Home Fried Potatoes. The Omelette was very bland, practically no flavor, and also had Olives. The fried potatoes were not warm, extremely dry and wrinkly and lacked seasoning. Additionally, during my last bite, I encountered a shell from what I believe was a piece of lobster. Not the best way to enjoy a Sunday Brunch. - My girlfriend had the Lobster Benedict ($30), 4oz of Maine Lobster Claw on two Toasted English Muffins, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise, served with Confit Home Fried Potatoes. She told me the Lobster, Eggs and Hollandaise were tasty, however, the fried potatoes were the same as mine: very underwhelming, dry and flavorless. She also ordered a $12 cup of the New England Clam Chowder, which was a pretty expensive price for a very average amount. In summary, I didn't find the restaurant particularly busy at Noon on a Sunday (about 2/3 full), so I can't really explain the food being warm in temperature. The blandness of my items, along with the shellfish casing was unacceptable and definitely tarnished my experience. Not sure what the other food menus and options are like, but I would definitely pause coming back to park myself at this Boathouse, as there are plenty of other fish restaurants by the sea.

Great food and service always the best place to enjoy some good food and drinks by the bay.

Yelp
No joke, but we totally ended up here because our driver drove us to the wrong spot. Owed a friend a meal, so he selected a restaurant....that was not here. However, he drove us here, so we decided to cancel the rest at the other spot and stay here. We were here for weekend brunch, so ambiance was pretty cool with views of the water and a singer out in the patio. Also, the free little blueberry muffins were delicious. However, the rest is just ok? The oysters were fresh, the calamari was pretty average (not great or terrible), and the lobster omelette was not to my liking. It was a huge portion, but bland without sauce.

Yelp
Made reservations for this restaurant at 7pm today. Came 10 minutes prior to my reservation time only to find out im still waiting 30+ minutes for a seat for my parents birthday. Apparently they overbooked the restaurant. Service is horrible. Waiting 40 minutes for a reservation is insane. No manager i dont want your comped apps....I want to eat my meal in a timely manner and leave your restaurant. I have my infant child and parents that would like to go home in a timely manner. Management, if you are reading this, your hostess and management have sat people with no reservations in front of my party repeatedly. The level of unprofessionalism is astounding to say the least.....Update our waiter Burt Saved the day and the attentiveness of the busser Mike! Tomahawk was on point cooked perfect and sushi was much better than I expected!....ill be back soon after the Holidays!

Yelp
TBOTB was on my list for quite some time, courtesy of IG. I was finally able to make it down on a Sunday afternoon. I made a reservation for 2. I wanted patio seating, but the reservations were full, so I opted for inside. Upon our arrival, I asked if they had seating outside, and luckily they did. The restaurant was in a beautiful setting. Lovely views all around. Food - To start, my friend ordered a sushi roll, and he was pleased. I'm not into seafood, so it was a hard pass for me. For my entree, I had the Boathouse wagyu burger. It was hearty, cooked perfectly, & seasoned well. The side of French fries were addictive. To drink, I had an Arnold Palmer - can't really mess that up. For my cocKtail, I had a Watermelon margarita, & it definitely hit. Customer service - our server was very kind and personable, but unfortunately would not check in with us enough. The service was significantly slow, and it took at least 20-30 minutes for us to receive our food. Luckily, we were engaged in conversation, enjoying the weather, and people watching, so it wasn't as noticeable. Had we been starving, this would be a problem. I think this place is slightly overhyped. It was a decent experience, but didn't knock my socks off.

Yelp
This is our 2nd Christmas dinner at this fine restaurant. If you love a beautifully decorated place - come to the Boathouse .... beautifully decorated! It puts you in the Christmas spirit! Food was amazing as usual. Ambiance was quite loud this year ... service was difficult I think due to the crowd. But our waiter was very nice.

Yelp
Nice place with great view. They got indoor and outdoor seating plus a side deck right next to the water. The foods are good but can be pricey. The services are hit or miss for me. I been here numerous times since I live nearby and I love this area and the drinks here are great. They do have live music on the weekend so it's a perfect hangout especially during the summer.

Yelp
Ok , I haven't been excited to write a review in a while so here we go, Customer service: 10/10 CATALINA was the PERFECT WAITRESSS! She was attentive, friendly, personable and simply amazing at her job! Cleanliness: the restaurant appeared to be clean, silverware cups plates etc Ambiance: 10/10 you're right there on the water. That's why most people go here lol. Food/drinks: the food was a 4/5 we got the hot momma /crunchy sushi rolls, chicken tacos and watermelon margaritas. Sushi rolls were great , chicken tacos were a bit dry but with the dipping sauce it was DELICIOUS! The drinks were good All in all I'd recommend!

Yelp
Flrst time here, beautiful bay view, clean, updated, and wonderful customer service. We ordered a glass of sangria, plenty of fresh fruit, and the amount of wine with ice. Hubby ordered the clam chowder, packed with large clams, potatoes, and croutons on top; worthy. I ordered the fresh oysters on the half shell, fabulous and full of flavor along with linguini clams. It was very tasty, not too salty; just not sure I would order it again. Hubby ordered Lomo saltado, deliiicious, according to him. Raspberry cheesecake was phenomenal.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place for Brunch because it looked really good. I would say overall though the food was very average. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and view of the marina. We sat on the patio and they had live music going, that really added to the experience. The food was just ok to be honest. I got the Boathouse Omelette and asked for no mushrooms and spinach instead. It was really good, the potatoes were cool as well. I also tasted the French toast which was just ok, I'm not a huge French toast person though. You can get mimosas for $19 a bottle which wasn't bad so we were able to share among the group and they brought out different juice options for us. My friends ordered the chilaquiles and were not impressed. Parking is free but the lot was full, so I valeted for $10. The restaurant is beautiful and the dinner menu looked more appealing. I may be back to try out their dinner.

Yelp
We recently had brunch at The Boathouse on the Bay with a party of seven to celebrate a friend's birthday, and overall, it was a great experience. The customer service was excellent--staff members were friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Danielle for amazing customer service. One tip for future visitors: be sure to choose a table with sunshade, as we initially picked one without and found it a bit uncomfortable. The staff kindly tried to help by adding umbrellas, but it's best to avoid the issue altogether. As for the food, it was fantastic. I had the red and green Chilaquiles, which were delicious, and my boyfriend enjoyed the Lobster Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The restaurant surprised our birthday friend with a complimentary ice cream scoop, complete with a cute little candle. It was a thoughtful touch that made the celebration even more special.

Yelp
Katy is amazing she make sure we had our table taking care of without the sushi bar. Everything was great if you're gonna have sushi I would definitely recommend the red dragon roll or the spicy Alamitos roll. Definitely the best place to come in Long Beach Thank you Jeff and Katie

Yelp
I recently visited Boathouse on the Bay and was quite disappointed with the customer service. We had a reservation at 7:30 pm and arrived at 7:20 pm. While it was nice that we were seated right away, the service quickly went downhill from there. It took 35 minutes for me to flag someone down just to get some water, and another 10 minutes for our server to introduce herself. We ordered drinks, which took an additional 30-35 minutes to arrive. The wait was so long that we managed to take photos of the beautiful bay in the meantime. When the food finally came, it was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. However, if it weren't for the great food and the charming atmosphere, the poor customer service would be a definite deal-breaker. After our food arrived, our server didn't check on us even once. We had to wait an excessively long time for a water refill and ended up asking for the check immediately because we were so ready to leave. We also saw two other tables get up to ask for straws and basic utensils, so it seemed to be an overall issue with the restaurant. The staff seemed unorganized and slow, which was very frustrating. I had heard from two different individuals that while the food was good, the service was notoriously slow and terrible. For an upscale place, they really need to improve on their service. It's a shame because the food and ambiance are fantastic, but the customer service experience might keep people from returning.

Yelp
We celebrated a family birthday here last weekend and had a wonderful meal and were able to watch a beautiful sunset. We were seated quickly with our reservations. I was torn between sitting inside or out on the patio, mostly because of views. However the table we were seated at had a perfect view of the bay. Drinks were poured well, the bourbon smash was very refreshing. I liked that it was bourbon forward, and not overly sweet. We started with the Appetizer Trio and the Heart Attack Roll. Both were delicious. The trio included kraken shrimp, calamari and carmelized brussel sprouts with a trio of dipping sauces. The kraken shrimp were my favorite, crispy with a sweet chili sauce. The Heart Attack roll was really good, but a few of those jalapeno slices packed a surprise punch. For entrees we pretty much tried it all. Fish tacos, lobster tail and angel hair pasta, Mexi Cali Halibut and blacked salmon Caesar salads. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. We finished the meal with a birthday dessert while we watched the sunsetting.

Yelp
This restaurant is giving bougie on the weekends. My cousin and I decided to come here to unwind and catch up on our gossip lol (girl problems). I made reservation for noon but my cousin was running late so I asked if we could be accommodated to a later time and they totally was fine with it, already giving 5 star service. We were seated at 1:00 pm and our seats were outside. Such a pretty view and such a nice vibe and mood. We enjoyed the ocean view as well as the live music. It was packed outside, and people were definitely giving Los Angeles fashion ok, Ladies I SEE Y'ALL! The sever was attentive and was always checking on us. We split a bottle of champagne and it had me right where I needed to be. I guess, we both had about 4 glasses each. (It was only 2 of us) and that was enough for me. I ordered the Boathouse Omelet... I was ok, I wished it was seasoned a little because the salt and pepper was not helping. I also would have preferred more mushrooms in it as well. The eggs were overpowering. My cousin ordered the Brioche French Toast. She said it was so good and it came with plenty of bacon... She couldn't eve finish it. This is a great spot for brunch. I've been looking at their dinner menu and I think I will come back to experience the dinner vibes next time.

Yelp
Enjoyed this restaurant the atmosphere, location, service and the bloody mary. Food was ok the omelets was not as good, lots of egg, however, not much filling. The Lobster benedict was good not great but ok. Overall, I would go back.

Yelp
Great view and yummy food with attentive service. Then menu has a great variety of options without being too overwhelming. Took off one star because the wagyu patty on my Polynesian Loco Moco was overcooked and charred a bit too much. Everything else was perfect. Dined with a big group and everyone's orders were correct and everyone was happy with their food. Make sure to make reservations. This place is pretty popular. Requested to be seated on the patio for brunch and they were able to accommodate our request. The patio awning is adjustable if it is too sunny.

Yelp
Went to brunch today. Wait staff and runners provided very poor slow service. Very rarely checked up on what needed. Some of the breakfast dishes were bland and small. Very shocked a decent restaurant does not serve real iced tea. They use fountain tea from a soda gun. Some meals are decent, don't expect to be impressed. Very loud hard to hear music playing inside on Sunday as well.

Yelp
It was my first time coming here. We were visiting friends and we came here for a birthday party with my family and friends. The view is absolutely beautiful! You just listen any watch the water. It is definitely relaxing. The food was really good! We got a lot of different items and shared it. The food and drinks are pricy but you are paying for the view and the experience. The service was horrible. Our waitress was really rude when we had questions on certain items on the menu. It felt like she didn't want to be there to help us. She never checked on us so we had to start asking other servers for items we needed or questions we had. She brought our food out an hour later and she didn't apologize or anything not only that but she started giving us food that we didn't order.

Yelp
This is such a great place to go for dinner. Try to go just before sunset for the best views our waiter Bert is a local native and was a pleasure to to have helping us with his super friendliness and knowledge of the restaurant, the community and general kindness and he enjoys what he does and we can tell.he's a really great guy and made for a really fun experience. I will definitely return for the great food and ambience!

Yelp
To be honest I was disappointed on my first visit , me and my wife went a day before Valentine's Day to celebrate our reservation was at 6:30pm . We were welcome by the hostess and got sat down fast . We ordered a dozen of oysters they were good , the bread was great . Cesar salad ok , the drinks good but my wife knife was dirty and seems like they don't polish the silverware they look very bad . Then my wife ordered shrimp scampi regular price 45 dollars she asked ti add scallops and just for a few of them the price went up to 92 dollars !!! And my food was meh I got the lomo saltado it was super salty and sour and the meat taste old , also I got a side of broccoli and needed a lot seasoning . I'm very disappointed on my first visit after all we ordered the final bill was 350 !!! That's crazy !! All I said it's for that amount of money I spent I wish every was going to be amazing but it wasn't . Oh well took home a bread pudding with ice cream and that was the best thing we tried .

Yelp
Boathouse is a big restaurant on the pier which serves a variety of options. My girls and I went to brunch, and got different things to try. Danielle, the server was nice & felt bad because she was pretty busy with her tables but was attentive when needed! So thank you to her :) The food was mid, I don't think I'm so raved around their brunch food. Honestly should have just ordered sides because that was better than the prepared menu meals they had. The chilaquiles didn't come with cheese and the chicken was super dry. I honestly just had a platter of chips and things on the sides for $20. Not worth the price at all. The French toast and the potatoes were the only good things I tasted. The fruit was warm, not cold. I always look at brunch food to be mid and hope I find a good one soon.

Yelp
The Boathouse is a large restaurant located near Shoreline Village and is located near the water, with inside and outside seating available. The inside decore appears to need improvement. The food was good drinks were not bad service was good. You can make reservations or walk in and wait a little longer.

Yelp
What a lovely restaurant! So beautiful to sit by the marina watching the boats as you enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had a burger and my date had the fish tacos which normally not for me but the fresh tortilla and immaculate cooking of the fish made it very easy for me to enjoy as well. It was pretty empty when we went but I hear it can get very busy and I would say the day time may serve for a better view than night time but I enjoyed the night sky reflecting off the water creating a romantic atmosphere.

Yelp
This place checks all the boxes for great location and Sunday Brunch live music ( The gentlemen I forgot his name he is EXCELLENT by the way ) I ordered the chicken and waffles it was flavorful but at the same time I think it was too much Rosemary which I am not crazy about. I would 100 % return but I will get something else. The Red Sangria was so big and delish!

Yelp
This restaurant sits right on the water with windows overlooking the marina. Wonderful ambiance and plenty of spacious seating. There are televisions throughout for your viewing pleasure as well. Service is impeccable and the food was delicious, just make sure you don't fill up on appetizers first. Wonderful place to relax by the water with a large group of people, a few friends or by yourself.

Yelp
We had lunch here today. My husband had the regular margarita, I had the watermelon Margarita both were delicious and very well-made. We shared the appetizer trio and also the jalapeño appetizer. Everything was delicious and very well presented. We finished with the cognac bread pudding. The staff was amazing, and our server, Brandon, set the bar for excellent service. He made great suggestions and was very personable and has a wonderful personality. On the way out there were two managers, and I jokingly told them they should be happy I own a manufacturing company and not a restaurant or I would try and poach Brandon from them. All in all, a 10 out of 10 experience. We will be regulars.

Yelp
First off. We sit down, and it takes 20 mins to even get a water or a greet. Our waitress was super judgy it seemed, we ordered a tomahawk. She came back and said they were all out of them. So ordered some sushi, burger and clam chowder, still have not gotten my other drink by now. Asked for sushi roll to come out first before our other food. It all came out at once with my drink. Also never got my other sushi the entire dinner. Keep in mind the waitress had 4 tables. Bluntly ignoring us walking right passed us , never got a refill or a box. Had to ask another bidder for a box and the check. I have never not tipped anywhere in my life . This place deserved it

Yelp
Online reservation was easy to make. There is no option for outdoor patio reservation on a Saturday. On the phone, the employee explained in detail that Saturday outdoor patio was first come and first serve. Parking was easy find with a 3 hour parking limit. Went here on Saturday at 11am and was seated inside right away. Our table was right next to the windows. It was raining so there wasn't much to see. 1st server seemed to be in a rush since she was covering both the tables and bar. The coffee was delivered cold and needed to return two glasses of water since there were lipstick marks on the glasses. Second server was extremely attentive and checked a couple of times if we needed anything. Additional drinks (coffee and tea) were hot and food was given hot. And we did not feel rushed to leave so we were able to enjoy our brunch. Enjoyed the Chickadee's Waffle and Lobster Benedict. The tea was good.

Yelp
We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night but waited about 40 minutes, not bad. It was close time for the sun to set so pictures were beautiful. I was a little chilly where we sat, should have brought a sweater. Wonderful meal, all of our food was delicious. Not impressed with our server. He did not appear to be interested in working that evening. He wasn't rude, but there was no effort. He didn't check on us often, I don't think he smiled at all. Not a good representation of the restaurant or encouragement for anyone to return. Outside of that, good experience. I'm not from here so if I returned to the area I would probably check out another restaurant rather than return due to the customer service but I'm sure that was a fluke so I would encourage others to give them a try. Maybe you'll get a different server.

Yelp
Went here for an early New Year's Eve celebration so did not do the show etc. They had a generous Prix fixe menu but great choices. We had the chilled oysters and shrimp to start. The oysters were nicely chilled and briney. The shrimp coated in panko were large and crispy with a nice sauce. The highlight was the Chilean Seabass served over polenta which Burt recommended. A nice thick cut it was done perfectly with a crisp outside but moist and flakey inside. The polenta was a bit weak and could use some improvement. Too pasty. My fellow diner had the steak which was cooked to the perfect medium rare. The accompanying brussel sprouts were good but standard. The dessert was a nice finale with a crunchy top and creamy inside. Not big but a very decent size. For a New Year's Eve gig (which is also my birthday) it was very nice!

Yelp
Love a good brunch on a Sunday! The Boathouse is in a great location and has inside & outside seating. If you sit outside alongside the glass, depending on the time of day, the sun will bake you! I had the avocado toast w/bacon. Delicious! My friend had the catfish. DELICIOUS!! Oh and you must try the expresso martinis. Sooo good we had three each! Make reservations & sit outside so that you can see & hear the guy on the steel drums. There's also a selfie spot for all the cool kids. Enjoy!
