Sonoma County Shuts Down Large Gatherings but Leaves Restaurants Open | Eater SF

"When I read that someone smashed the windows of Boba Pup in Santa Clara, I felt for the particularly adorable family-owned boba shop known for its mason jars decorated with corgi butts; on Instagram the shop wrote, "When something like this happened, we feel sad and hurt," underscoring how much small businesses have struggled these past two years." - Becky Duffett

Inside the Bay Area’s Corgi Butt Boba Phenomenon - Eater SF

"There’s a new boba shop in Santa Clara serving drinks in mason jars decorated with corgis, and it’s blowing up with fans returning over and over again to collect specific cups. Boba Pup is a new boba shop that opened in spring 2021 over by the high school in that plaza that’s kind of a suburban Koreatown. Owner Vivienne Tran also owns a boba shop called Moo Bar in Seattle..." - Becky Duffett

Inside the Bay Area’s Corgi Butt Boba Phenomenon | Eater SF

"Tucked in a plaza next to Santa Clara High School in a sort of suburban Koreatown, this new boba shop opened in March 2021 and has become a cult hit for its collectible mason jars decorated with corgis. Owner Vivienne Tran (who also opened Moo Bar in Seattle in 2017) developed the corgi theme while trying to avoid single-use plastic, sketching dog designs to encourage customers to reuse glass containers; the shop even has a corgi logo with a waving, fuzzy peach of a butt. The corgi cups are driving repeat visits and themed releases (the workout corgis once drew an hour-long line) that fans track on Instagram, and while the cup costs an extra $2 at the shop (specific cups can be ordered online for $8 plus shipping), purchased cups can be brought back for refills if clean and labeled. Boba Pup refuses to offer any plastic cups or straws, and the drinks match the hype: they use organic milk, fresh fruit, oat milk and other alt-dairy options, cook pearls in small batches, simmer their own brown sugar syrup, and puree fresh ube and strawberries — the most popular drink is an ube latte swirled with coconut milk and real mashed purple yams. Some customers grumble about the extra cost, but Tran says $2 is essentially production value and she’s committed to the reusable-cup concept." - Becky Duffett

Google
The best thing about this place are the adorable corgi cups 🧋 🐶!!! The drinks themselves are just okay; the fruit teas taste better than the milk teas. We tried the Labubu topping and it’s so cute! They come in different colors and match the drink/cup! They don’t taste too great but are really more for the aesthetic. Parking is also easy and the wait time isn’t bad. There are a few stools by the window where you can sit and chat too which is nice. I love that you just pay $1 extra to keep the glass cup; and if you want to choose which design you get it’s only an extra $5. All of the designs are super duper cute and I love that the glasses are reusable! I use them for work and they’re perfect.

Google
The cups at this place is the main appeal with them giving you glass cups that you can keep. They also sold their own cups with anime related art on them. The drinks themselves were ok. But there wasn't much space to sit and do work, with not much outlets and the counter was a little dirty. There were also some boxes visible which made it looks a little messy.

Google
Fun place! Very tasty drinks with lots of variety. Can get crowded on weekends. All drinks come with mason jar or custom cups. Worth a visit! The Labubu pudding was fun and actually tasty.

Google
Ordered 4 matcha drinks - 1 banana pudding 1 matcha Thai tea, a jasmine milk tea and passion fruit smoothie. The 2 matcha drinks were extremely watered down. The matcha quality was bad, it tasted chalky and with little to no sweetness. I was also disappointed with how I was given the same cup design for all 4 cups. I was hoping at least 1 would have been different because there were 3 designs they were giving out for today's cup designs.

Google
Super duper cute corgi-themed Boba spot in the Bay Area! From their store logo to the reusable glass bottle (with cute Corgi puppy graphics), everything is adorable here! The store is conveniently located in the same strip mall as ToBang K-BBQ and other yummy Korean restaurants. You can easily come by Boba Pup to grab a drink or dessert after your sumptuous meal ! There are ample free parkings. I came around 12:30pm on a Monday and I found parking right away. The store is neat, clean and nicely decorated. There are a few bar seatings by the big windows looking out to the parking lot. If you want to be outdoors, there are a few table and chairs out there that you can use. You put in the order yourself at one of the 2 self-ordering iPad station. Or scan the QR code on the bar table. The ordering process was straightforward. You'll receive a text with your order confirmation. I always wanted to try their Strawberry Dubai Chocolate cup. My order came out quickly within 5-7 minutes and of generous portion. The strawberries are sweet and fresh. They complement the richness and crunchiness of the Dubai chocolate so well. For $18 per cup, it may be on the pricier side but I love my reusable glass cup which I can keep. It worths to give it a try !

Google
I'm obsessed with this boba place! 🤩 I had to go back twice because their Labubu mousse sold out too early, but it was worth it 😋. The caramel flan boba is also a must-try - it's absolutely amazing! 🤤 The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. My only suggestion would be to increase the Labubu mousse supply, but overall, I'm already planning my next visit! 👍 Highly recommend!

Google
Finding this place on Facebook was amazing. I drove three hours to get there. The drinks are normally the same at Lazi Cow but the glass containers are out of this world.

Google
I saw this on the gram, fell in love with the concept and the glass ware! Reducing plastic in the environment and my diet was a selling point and my Boba with the flan was delicious! I didn’t get bloated or felt gross after, perfect ice and sweetness. The wait was about 16 minutes but seriously worth it but if you’re in a hurry you can order ahead! I say enjoy the ambiance, check your emails, look at the merch and just chill. I liked that I can reside my glass at home but my own drinks, salads, whatever I want but that it has a cute pup companion to remind me life is good do Boba. Give them a try… they use premium matcha and have a ton of drink varieties but please be patient and know everything good is made to order. Will def return and but another cup and the one of the seasonal drinks! Nice staff, ample parking, seating in and out and cool concept!!

Yelp
The glass bottles they use are so cute!! Tried their oreo hot chocolate which was good but was too rich. Also got the dubai chocolate strawberry and it came in the prettiest glass bottles with sticker of "The Cat Returns".

Yelp
Not my first time coming here, but my first time reviewing. One thing I like about Boba Pup compared to other boba shops is their uniqueness with their glass cups. Came here to try their winter items and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the Banana Cream Matcha Latte and the Ube Croffle more than I expected. The marshmallow hot coco and the strawberry shortcake were alright. They have two self checkouts so service was quick. They also had Christmas decorations up so the place was pretty lit up and cozy.

Yelp
Boba Pup is located in the Kiely Plaza. Parking is a bit difficult here, especially on weekends, as it is a small lot and does get busy here. Drinks are pricey here, as it comes in a glass jar with either different corgi themed designs on it (extra charge) or whatever collab theme they are doing at the time of your visit (no extra charge). Not the best service, the employees were not that friendly after ringing the bell for help. I was told two different things by the employee - the first one told me I could purchase that specific glass bottle I was looking for online on their website - I looked and was not able to find it, so I asked again and the second one told me once they sold out of one design, it is out. The employees just came off as unfriendly and seemed annoyed when being asked too many questions. I ordered their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba. The milk tea was very creamy with a very light tea taste to it and it was a bit watery - it tasted more like a cup of sweeten watered down milk than a milk tea. I was not able to finish the boba and ended up going somewhere else for boba afterwards, but I guess at least I have a reusable glass jar.

Yelp
I've been to Boba Pup at least three times in the last two months. I love how they automatically put your drink in a reusable glass jar with random designs of the week at no extra charge. I heard each anime or corgi design is drawn by the owner? So cool! You can also purchase specific glass jars with the design of your choice for about $10-12? I usually get the cloudy hojicha latte, no added sugar. They top it with sea cream foam. Perfect sweetness for me and their hojicha doesn't taste like roasted seaweed-- some shops prep it incorrectly. Friends have tried Viet coffee, peach green tea, and earl grey matcha latte. We got the earl grey for free one time when they had the promo for a $20+ purchase. Check out their Instagram stories for deals! They even have Dubai chocolate treats! I always get the strawberry sticks and they have croffles too. Order via kiosk and wait for your number to be called. Employees are nice and helpful when it comes to questions. They have a few outdoor tables and bar seating inside when waiting for drinks to be made. Parking is rough during peak meal times, especially in the evening. I want to go back to try the new banana bread pudding hojicha.
google avatar

Elaina V.

Yelp
I got the seasonal oreo marshmallow hot chocolate--so good, but beware of the messiness!!! The hot chocolate itself was perfect, sweet, and came out hot! When I picked up the hot chocolate at the counter, the marshmallow was already falling off the sides and my oreo fell off on the counter too. Staff were nice and brought me a new oreo tho! Next time, I'd try a cold drink for the glass cups! They have a few they rotate daily and they're all adorable. Notes: - There are two kiosks you can order from and you can order from the counter if you have a previous glass cup from them! - No restroom available for customers. - parking can be difficult to find, as this parking lot gets busy! - seating available inside and cute decor

Yelp
Love the drinks and the special cups they give with each drink! Drinks are delicious. Service is okay, but several times now we arrived 15-30 minutes before store closing time and the store is already closed or the employee rushes to close the ordering kiosks when they see us walking towards the shop. It's quite frustrating when we arrive well within closing time only to have to go to a different boba spot. Ambiance is very clean and trendy with a cute shelf rack of boba pup and pop culture themed merch.
google avatar

Shilah A.

Yelp
Cute place with cute cups. I like how you can get a glass cup with each order, and it's still the same price as if you go to any other boba shop these days. The drinks themselves were nothing special. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea, and it mostly tasted like milk. Boba was a nice texture and sweet. Parking is horrible in this plaza though, especially on weekends.
google avatar

Marlana Y.

Yelp
I love their seasonal hot chocolate drinks! The marshmallow has the right amount of burnt. Def bring your clean mason jar for 10% off your drink. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
Super cute logo and merch and fun drinks conceptually. I also appreciate that the chairs outside and the stools inside by the tables are sufficiently comfy. The corgi designs are ADORABLE. That said, we came in for the marshmallow hot chocolate with peppermint, and while it was fun to look at, the hot chocolate tasted a bit generic/watery, and the marshmallow was overwhelming and sort of unpleasant to sip through. Quick service, though there weren't a ton of people in line.
google avatar

Yelp
The ube coconut croffle and the banana bread pudding matcha drink were my top two favorites from their new winter items. The hot chocolate was so good and toasty with the melted marshmallow. Their strawberry shortcake wasnt too sweet but it had a good balance with the matcha. We went on a tuesday night around 7pm and wasnt a long wait time

Yelp
Seen this spot featured on a foodie's ig story so I had to come in and visit! What attracted me were the Labubu foam drinks, particularly because my kids love those ugly little creatures lol, but I went without my kids. My partner and I ordered the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Caramel Flan. YUM! If you knew me, you'd know I'm a sucker for anything flan. This drink is a 10/10, five stars. I'm not a boba fan, and there wasn't an option to order without boba. This drink was served in a jar with an anime print on the front: "print of the day", or you could pay a little over $5 to select a print. The drink itself tastes like a caramel milk, just the right amount of sweet, the perfect amount of creaminess. The flan surprises you here and there, creeping up on you with a mouthful of boba. Delicious! I've been waiting to encounter a perfect flan experience as it's been SO LONG. The flan I've had this entire past year was not it. Too grainy(and I don't understand why) and just the wrong texture/consistency. The flan in these drinks are PERFECT. Dense, creamy, derrricious! I will be bringing my kids here when they return home this week. Cheers!

Yelp
This place is very over priced, we got a mango drink and a milk tea. They lacked a lot and the only reason we came here was for the cups and it turns out that certain drinks come with certain cups. That was a disappointment and the workers were not really so friendly or clear on the pricing. The ambiance is nothing special it's a small shop. I wouldn't recommend coming here due to those reasons! There's also a long wait and I don't get why.... It might be because the cups because there's nothing special here!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
I love the idea of reusable cups! The price is pretty much the same, if not cheaper, than other boba places. This spot is great because they give you a non-plastic cup that you can reuse, and it's really cute with a few designs to choose from. There's also a lot of cute merch available. The place is spacious, though the seating isn't super comfortable if you're planning to work on your laptop for a while. Definitely worth checking out. The coffee I got was strong, exactly what I needed! Since this plaza is packed with Korean restaurants, parking can get really busy!
google avatar

Jacob C.

Yelp
While the drink here is good, my favorite part about this place is getting the reusable cup after finishing my drink. This is my second one. In terms of how the drink tastes, nothing special, however, still very solid
google avatar

Yelp
If happiness came in a jar, it would be from Boba Pup in Santa Clara! This café is pure joy for boba lovers, dog lovers, and Labubu enthusiasts. It is not only because the drinks are delicious, but because you get to take home their adorable character jars. We got one with Boba Pup doing the laundry and another of Boba Pup doing the dishes--honestly, the cuteness alone is worth the trip. The drinks and snacks, though? Absolutely amazing. The Labubu Pudding Milk Tea was rich, creamy, and playful, especially with the pudding add-on (highly recommend it!). The Pandan Vietnamese Iced Coffee was bold and fragrant with the perfect hint of sweetness, and the Dubai Strawberry Croffle was warm, crispy, and heavenly with every bite. Tina's Tips: - Come early when they open. It gets busy fast! - Tables and chairs are first come, first serve. - Labubu is something trending right now. So, Labubu theme pudding can be added to certain drinks. Don't skip it if you love fun toppings. I definitely recommend stopping here for a family outing or stopping here to take a friend out for boba! Thank you for the invite, Boba Pup! This is such a creative and tasty spot. I can't wait to come back soon.
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
What really brought me in is their reusable cups. The theme rotates daily. The first time I came it was a different picture than the typical corgis. If you want to pick a cup out of the 4, it's an extra $5. There's a lot of drinks to choose from. The place is located by a high school and could get busy. You place your order via a kiosk. Drinks come out quickly after ordering. The cups are high quality and have a stopper.
google avatar

Alex Z.

Yelp
I love coming to this place! They always have added new or seasonal drinks. I also love the fact that they give your drinks in a glass jar and the designs do change from time. This is one the places that has me coming back often!
google avatar

Kathleen M.

Yelp
Note to self: have the daughter wear her corgi boba shirt here in the future. I came here all excited about the corgi mason jars, but our day's jars were all anime characters. Fail. They had cute corgi stickers but the Avengers corgi one the daughter wanted was sold out. I ordered a Thai black milk tea. The description on the menu outside said the oat milk was an option but on the screen inside it was not. I made the mistake of getting my tea with coconut milk instead of condensed, and it didn't taste like it should. Our strawberry oat milk was really good and gone way too fast. There was no option to make it light ice like when we ordered the Thai iced tea, so it was all ice.
google avatar

Sonia W.

Yelp
Saw this place on IG and was already attracted to their corgi glass jar. Took my daughter while waiting for my husband done with his meeting. The store filled with corgi related merch and their highlights are their corgi jar. Since you cannot pick the design (or you pay to pick your own), I was hoping mine is different than my daughter, but it came out to be the same Parking isn't too bad during mid day, but my friend came at a different time mentioned it was difficult to find parking, I guess it is about the time of the day you go. Honestly the drink is nothing I would go for, but I would go again just for their jar LOL
google avatar

Michaela Y.

Yelp
Cute boba shop with corgi/dog themed cups! Every day they have 4 cup designs and each person gets a random design on their drink to take home. You can also pay an extra $5 if you want a specific cup design. The drinks are all good, but standard boba flavors. I like the idea of giving out reusable glass cups but if I became a regular I'm not sure what I'd do with so many cups. There's two small tables out front and some bar stools inside. I came around lunch time on a friday and it was packed! All the seats were taken and there were quite a few people waiting in line. They also sell the labubu gel topping. It's cute but doesn't taste like much so it's mostly for aesthetic.
google avatar

Xuan C.

Yelp
5/5 - OBSESSED. This was my first time trying Boba Pup and I'm already in love. I DoorDashed and the drink arrived in the cutest reusable glass jar -- mine had a Spirited Away design and I nearly screamed. I'm a sucker for aesthetic jars, and they absolutely delivered. The drink itself was delicious: sweet, creamy, and super comforting without being too heavy. Everything was sealed, fresh, and exactly like the photos. They clearly put effort into the presentation and branding, and it makes the whole experience feel fun. If you love cute jars, cute vibes, or just want a fun treat, Boba Pup is 100% worth it. I'll definitely be ordering again (mostly for more jars... let's be honest).
google avatar

Katrina V.

Yelp
I was in the plaza for dinner when my friend pointed out Boba Pup. The place was cute, and it's clear that someone loves corgis there. My friend had been to the place before and noted their to-go glass cups at no additional charge. Honestly, I thought that was pretty cool. I also found that the drink + souvenir corgi glass was cheaper than buying a boba drink at other places. That's a great value especially during these times. That said, if you wanted to choose the cup design instead of receive a random one, you did have to pay an extra $5. Of the 4 designs they had available, we both ended up getting the same tiger one. I got the peach green tea. The flavor was great, but it was way too sweet for me. I even got my drink at 50% sweetness. What's wild to me was that 100% sweetness was the recommended level, so I can't even imagine how that would've tasted nor would I want to find out.

Yelp
Five stars for the Vietnamese Iced coffee. It's super strong the way I like it and came in a cute jar. We got 2 Japan printed jars and one Korea. The online app said 10 minutes for our 3 drinks but it was more like 20 minutes. One person was waiting for her drinks. Another ordered drinks using the kiosk as we walked in and she finished ordering as we were waiting. She got her drinks before us so possibly faster by using the kiosk. The other two drinks were ok. I thought the pulp was a bit mushy. Boba was good and chewy.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute boba shop, I've only tried their matcha drink and hope to try their other drink items. If you like matcha strong, theirs is pretty light. So, it was easy for me to drink. I got the matcha strawberry and I love the creamy top. I don't know if it was just me but their strawberry taste is really sweet even when mixing with the matcha. Overall, staff are friendly, it's clean, and a cute place to hangout. The concept is really cute too. I hope you all can give this boba shop a try!

Rachel L.

Yelp
I wanted matcha and didn't want to drive too far. This place has been in my list in places to visit when it came to matcha. I didn't expect my drink to come in a glass and because of that I'm obsessed! This will now be my new local boba spot! The banana matcha latte was okay. I expected it to taste more like banana but it was still delicious- I think it's just me tho because I like everything sweet. I love the mango matcha and the ube waffle croissant was a 10!
google avatar

Bindu A.

Yelp
My daughter is fascinated by the corgi themed cups. They have good options for non-caffeinated boba drinks. Cloudy mango with cheese foam tastes great!
google avatar

Rayna T.

Yelp
I've come here a couple times but stopped because I thought their drinks were overpriced and mediocre. My friend had ordered here one time and had me try it. I think I found my new drink. Mango coco. It's so refreshing and not strong on the coconut (not a huge fan of coconut). Anyways. I love the mason jars they use. It's a cute little shop with unique and interesting drinks.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Cute little boba shop. I like the glass jar that the drink came in. I will definitely come back again.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
I'm not a big milk tea or boba fan but I saw this cute store and wanted to try it out. I got the triple chocolate drink since it doesn't have tea or coffee and it is pretty good. Tastes like extra chocolatey chocolate milk. I tried the creme brulee one, it wasn't bad and the boba was a good flavor. You have to pay extra for their cups but you can bring them back next time so you don't have to pay. Definitely an interesting business proposition to entice people to come back. They also have mid day specials, 3 for the price of 2. So if you go with some friends you can get a good deal. Ordering was done on a tablet and I got the drinks quick
google avatar

Elena D.

Yelp
Came with Boba Pup glass cup to order matcha, but there is no option on the screen for that, only to buy another (which is included) Tried to ask for help, but guys inside were too busy eating. Decided to go to another more friendlier and cleaner place
google avatar

Tony G.

Yelp
Love love the cute corgis they have everywhere! The artwork is super cute, and that's the main draw for me. Corgi X Anime X Pop Culture. Very awesome ideas I would say the drinks were just ok or meh. Price is a little on the higher side, but it does come with a random corgi jar of the day. I will say the one thing I didn't like is how they did the caps for the mason jar. There's a hole in the middle to insert your straw, BUT it's only covered by a small plastic insert that isn't attached to anything. Would have liked the hole on the lid to be easily covered in some sort of way to be re-used again. If you like corgis and anime I say check this place out!

Yelp
MATCHA lovers and CHOCOLATE fanatics, assemble! If you're anywhere near Santa Clara, you have to stop by Boba Pup -- especially if you're into matcha magic or Dubai-level chocolate luxury They've just dropped some new drinks and I'm still dreaming about them: - Banana Pudding Matcha Latte - strong, creamy, and totally addicting - Blueberry Matcha Latte - refreshing with a fruity twist - Dubai Chocolate Milk Tea - sweet, smooth, and super drinkable - Dubai Chocolate Coffee - bold, rich, and perfect if you like a strong caffeine kick If you like strong-flavored drinks, definitely go for the Dubai Chocolate Coffee or the Banana Pudding Matcha -- those two are power-packed and totally hit the spot. Want something more chill and refreshing? The Blueberry Matcha or Dubai Chocolate Milk Tea are light, sippable, and suuuper easy to love. Also -- can we talk about the Dubai Chocolate Sticks and the Croffles?? I could've eaten like four croffles no joke -- they're crispy, rich, and the combo of textures and flavors is dangerously good. Think "dessert crack," but cuter. But what really sets Boba Pup apart? Their drink cup designs Every. Single. One. is drawn by the owner, and they're ridiculously cute -- it's giving Pokémon vibes because now I feel like I have to collect them all (and yes, you can pay a few extra dollars to get the cup you want -- worth it.) Prices are super reasonable, the vibes are cozy, and the drinks? If you're a boba lover or just bored of basic lattes, run, don't walk to Boba Pup. You'll leave with a happy heart, full hands, and probably a new favorite drink (or two).

Yelp
I saw a recent review that was obviously written by ChatGPT, I'm kind of surprised it got a lot of traction. Maybe I'll do the same. Jk. Unless? Anyway "boba lovers unite" "hidden gem" "look no further" boba pup is here. Boba pup recently had a resurgence in popularity due to their viral labubu topping. Being the sucker that I am, I was looking forward to trying it, but they were sold out So instead I got strawberry gt with boba and mango matcha latte. The presentation was so pretty and aesthetic. The drink itself is normal. I also got a croffle which was pretty good. I love how they have so many design releases. The store has definitely upped their merch from the last time I was here 4 years ago. I'm going for the second time this week because my friend wanted to go again. Hopefully they have the labubu Ahhh take me now

Yelp
I went here after a lunch at Kunjip. I usually like to try all the boba/milk tea places in the area when I can. And yea I wasn't a fan. I do like that you get these cute corgi cups but the drink quality is not very good. I love that they have soo many glass cups you can purchase if you just want to go here for those. The lids come with a rubber lid so u can shake something in it without spilling which was nice. Anyway I will probably go back for the cups but not the drinks.
google avatar

Ally W.

Yelp
Came here as I saw these really cool glass mason jars. If you buy a drink, it does not cost extra. You get a random design but for an extra charge you can select from other designs. I got the thai iced tea and it was good. I am going to use my jar as a water bottle! Cool idea. Worth the trip here.
google avatar

Yelp
Drink flavored average but the cuteness of the mason jar cup and that you get to keep the glass mason jar override the flavor of the drink for me. We tried the mango matcha latte $7.75 and fruit tea lychee dragon fruit green tea$7.25 . The matcha was better than the fruit tea. There was also an added cost for matcha drinks that was recently added to the price. We didn't get to pick the jar design so it was random design of the day. But we were happy with it. Convenience of parking was a nightmare. There are many popular restaurants also within the plaza. There is also just one bar table for you to seat w a few stools so no ideal to come here with friends if you want to sit down and chat. This place is most ideal for grab and go but parking could be a problem. There is a QR code which brings you to their site to order ahead. I recommend they add seats back inside as there is plenty of space.

Yelp
I've been craving another Italian soda, so came back so I could get a new cup! They are great and I keep my 1st one at work. I don't want to carry it back & forth, so I came back. This time I got the Strawberry Mango Peach Italian soda. So good!!! I treated my friend to the crem Brule and she loved hers too. I guess I'll be back in the near future!

Yelp
Cute spot. Seems like they've just opened up or something. Like the restaurant is bare. Self service kiosks to order the drinks and other items. However, if you had a question about anything, you're gonna have to waive down someone from the back to ask something. Quite odd. 5 drinks in total. And they were all okay. However, we did purchase some stickers. Cute. Some of their drinks come with nice jar for an extra price. We did that for 2 out of our 5 drinks. Idk if it's worth it. But we did it.

Yelp
Came for the labubu matcha. The matcha was unfortunately not good and basically water. the labubu however was great! Honestly i got it for the gag but the drink itself is not good. I would not get again. Also when i showed up they had signs that said they did not have any labubu pudding but then they did??? so i'm not quite sure but i would ask the workers if that's the case. There is not much seating and although we came first and didn't really have to wait in line, there were many people that quickly showed up. so take that into account

Yelp
Came here because social media made it seem like Boba Pup was that place -- especially for the Labubu pudding. That's literally the only reason I came. I made sure to add special instructions to include it in two drinks. They didn't. No pudding. No point. Tried the new Dubai drink. It's mid. Tastes like any basic boba from anywhere else. Nothing mind-blowing. Also, the ordering machines automatically tack on a tip before you even get your drink. That's wild. Cute cup, but don't fall for the hype. This place is more Instagram than substance. Update: Hey Vivienne, thanks for responding. Just to clarify -- I did select the Labubu pudding in the special instructions for two of the drinks, but I still didn't get it. That's what really disappointed me, especially since that's the main reason I came. Also, there wasn't anyone around to ask questions. When there is staff, they're busy calling out drink numbers, so if you're new, it's kind of confusing. There's no real guidance on how things work, which might be fine for regulars but not for first-timers.

Yelp
The tiramisu Vietnamese coffee was my fav! Strong Vietnamese coffee but still very balanced. The matcha was not bad but not great. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were a perfect dessert. Wouldn't get these drinks as a morning pick me up, definitely more of a dessert

Yelp
OMGS! This place is sooooo cute. I can't handle all of the cuteness of their corgi mascot. Hubby and I came on a random Monday so it wasn't too busy. We ordered on a kiosk and it was great because we got to see pictures of everything. Here's what we got: strawberry Dubai chocolate sticks, lychee dragon fruit with dragon fruit popping boba fruit tea, peach mango strawberry fruit tea, and Hong Kong waffle. Before I go into the drinks, can I just give this place a shout out for the cute glass jars their drinks come in! You can get a random one or pick the exact cup you want for an extra $5.50. Drinks: super flavorful without being too sweet! We also went with the recommended sweetness levels so that probably played a big role. I feel like dragon fruit is a really hit or miss flavor and since mine was mixed with lychee, I tasted more of the lychee (but I'm not complaining!) Food: the strawberry Dubai chocolate was delicious. The strawberries were huge and the Dubai chocolate toppings just added an extra serving of amazingness. We haven't found an egg waffle place that compares to our old go to...UNTIL TODAY. I can't wait to come back. I was kidding not kidding with Hubby that we should just replace all our cups at home with the glass jars we get here. I love it here!!

Yelp
This place is super expensive and sells mid boba, with ugly jars that they sell you for an additional dollar or two for. The toppings are at a ridiculous price as well. The service is good, but just an overpriced place and not worth it. The seating is also super limited.

Yelp
I love that this spot offers cute mason jars for their boba drinks -- perfect for reusing! I tried the triple chocolate drink, which pretty much tastes like chocolate milk. I probably wouldn't get it again since it was $8 and didn't feel particularly special. The strawberry matcha here is decent for a boba shop. The matcha color looks very green, but of course it doesn't compare to drinks from actual matcha spots. The Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is really good. It has real pieces of pistachio, which adds a nice crunch. It's definitely pricey, but that's expected with trendy treats.

Yelp
The decorations of this place is really cute. I ordered the tiramisu boba drink. With 50% less sugar. The drink was okay. I guess the main attraction is their custom glass cups. I do advise that they have something at the bottom saying that the cups are not dishwasher friendly. The design on my cup started to peel off already!

Yelp
Egg waffle was missing the crisp texture on the outside though we picked up when our order was ready. So that's unfortunate. But the taste and texture was right on. Matcha with mango was ok. Could definitely taste the mango and the chunks of mango were nice. But the mango puree was overall too sweet that it overpowered the matcha. May be preferred by some, but when I get matcha, I do like to be able to taste the matcha (the green, earthly flavor). Matcha with black sesame was delicious. The combination blended so well together even when the whole drink was mixed completely. The black sesame wasn't too nutty or bitter as is the case in some boba stores. So this hit the spot! Forgot to take pictures of the glass jars the drinks come in... but totally love it. Not just for how cute the glass jars are but this means no plastic waste and no microplastic in the drink either! Do you take back the glass jars to reuse by perhaps give $1-2 discount on drinks? It would be more environmentally friends if so and it also encourages returning customers. Open a store up in East Bay, please.

Yelp
I love the bottle collection here, and the drinks taste great! However, the downside is the long wait time. I placed my order at 2:58 PM on a Friday and immediately received an email saying it would be ready by 3:38 PM-- a 40-minute wait. Some people behind me ended up leaving because they didn't want to wait that long.
