Where to Sip Chewy, Fruity, Colorful Bubble Tea in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"This non-descript boba shop tucked into a strip mall on Royal Ln is easy to miss, but once you’ve found it, you’ll never want to leave again. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for working or studying, and the traditional boba shakes made with taro, green tea, and other flavors are old-school but totally solid." - Amy McCarthy

Google
I have been coming here for years and it is the only boba place I like. Whoever made these drinks on Sunday November 30th, 2025 I LOVEEE YOU. They’re soooo good!!!!🫶🏼

Valerie T.

Google
Moderately agree with other reviews that the girls up front are not friendly, they dont greet you and just stare. But they were able to answer my questions and the boba was great.

Stephanie S.

Google
I felt humiliated while talking to a girl at the cash register. The girl with brownish hair and a hand tattoo took my order and when I asked a question about the boba. She looked at me like I was stupid. I noticed it wasn’t only me that she treated badly. Then she continued to be rude by giving dirty looks. The boba in general was good. I just didn’t like how that certain girl treats costumers.

Alexandra P.

Google
Honestly, every time I go to this place, they treat me really badly. The girls who work there are super rude, always angry, and they give dirty looks as soon as you walk in—like they don’t even want you to buy anything. They never say “hi” or “good afternoon,” and the first thing they tell you is that they don’t have boba, like they’re hoping you’ll just leave. There’s always something broken, and instead of trying to help or offer a solution, they just make excuses. The cashier in the front is really intimidating—it feels scary to even say something because they don’t accept it if you point out a mistake. It’s just a really bad customer service experience. It’s frustrating because you’re going there to spend your money, and the least they could do is treat people with basic respect.

Lem L.

Google
Not only were the employees weird, they gave me a drink that was 3/4 filled.. I would not recommend this place, it’s change so much (not in a good way).

Jennifer N.

Google
The girls are rude and lack good customer service. If you’re gonna work in customer service atleast greet customers with a hello and a smile. They always looked annoyed and irritated when taking orders. Y’all need to be better 😂

Ricardo B.

Google
This place has gone downhill hill over the years. The place is dirty. The GIRLS ARE EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Do not recommend! They treated my grandma and Aunt horrible when they were simply asking questions and being very condescending. We asked if they could add another item and she said we already made it. When the girl behind her hadn’t even started. The counters are dirty. Floors are gross. Do not come, this place is more and more dirty. Avoid this place.

jaja I.

Google
Rude girls at the front, had a horrible attitude. I was waiting for my drink and my friends had got all of theres, all the workers had went to the back, I got one of the workers attention and had told them that I never got my drink. The workers responded very passive aggressively and said “next time you need to pay attention to your drinks” when It was there mistake that they forgot to make the drink, and as a worker they should be watching who’s grabbing drinks, we don’t know what other people had ordered so whatever they grab from the counter I’m just going to assume it’s there drink. The workers did not take accountability and blatantly blamed me as a customer when it was clearly there mistakes. Don’t work a job if your lazy and can’t admit you suck at your job.

Yelp
Having never tried Boba tea before, I was impressed! We decided to buy one for dessert this afternoon, it was great! I ordered the Strawberry Avalanche with boba. Now that I've tried it, I will probably have them leave the boba out next time, my daughter and I didn't like them as much. My husband ordered the Oreo Falls (no boba) and his was fantastic!!! Actually, I might even try to Mocha Madness, I'm curious. They use half and half for the shakes, so next time I'll ask if they can use a lactose-free milk/substitute (stomach wasn't too happy with me ha!). They made our drinks right in front of us, fast. It is more of a carry-out type situation as there are no tables or chairs. There is a counter along the side wall for you to stand and set your drink down if you want though. Thank you for the delicious shakes on this beautiful, sunny afternoon!

Yelp
Drinks are decent but the service was actually peepeepoopoo. The girl taking our order was SO rude. I asked for a drink in a split cup and when asking for clarification, she responded so rudely. Also, split cup means drinks are split into HALVES in two different cups. In CA, we have cups that are actually 2 in 1 type of cups. Don't be mistaken!

Alexandra P.

Yelp
I have been going here for as long as I can remember. This boba shop has withstand the test of time. And it's evident how they have. Their drinks have consistently stayed at a great price and incredible flavor. My go-to has always been their Mocha Madness specialty. It's perfectly sweet, coffee and mocha balanced, with great toppings of coffee jelly and tapioca to finish it off. Their menu offers a wide selection of all types of drinks. Lastly, service is always insanely quick, and it's the perfect boba shop for a grab n go.

Yelp
Absolutely mediocre drinks and TERRIBLE SERVICE. I have never had such awful service in my life!! The cashier that worked with us was super rude. We knew we have a large order since there were 10 of my cousins coming in. We went one by one as to make it clear and easy for the worker. But her attitude was awful and totally left a bad taste in my mouth! She was super snappy with us with any questions. And didn't want to look in the back for avocados for our drinks (but her coworker did, she was nice!!!). But the cashier just did not want to be there and it was clear. Definitely not worth it to come here!! Also split cup is typically one cup that has two halves split separately with one sealed top. But this place just splits it into two cups? VERY WEIRD. Just be weary if you order!

Yelp
Coming back after 7 years, still the same bad service and drinks. Sadly it is the only boba place in Haltom, but if I were you I would take the 10 minute drive to Feng cha or Share tea where they're real franchise of taiwanese boba joints. Good business for them since people are finally trying boba. Place still looks the same, menu semi changed. They stopped making the avocado smoothie. Only 3 workers today, non-asians. Ordered the green jasmine milk tea and house coffee with grass jelly. I specifically asked the cashier if the house coffee was pre-made since my mom did not want any sugar in her drink. Cashier confirmed it's not pre-made and she wrote no sugar on the receipt. The boba was hard, they didn't cook it long enough and they got rid of all their fresh ingredients like the avocado smoothie. House coffee 1/5 - it was sweet as sugar even though I requested no sugar. Went back in line to ask if it was pre-made again, and she said the house coffee doesn't have sugar and it's not her fault since she didn't make the drink. I never blamed her all she does is standing around. I asked if there were any other drinks we can adjust the sugar levels and she said we can adjust on all the drinks. I requested to change our drink but she said since it's already popped open we couldn't exchange it, so i asked if they can remake it and she said no. I'm not sure how people ate gonna request exchanges if they don't try the drinks first. This is why y'all need to go to a real boba shop where they actually will remake it for you or make more if they mis-measured. Jasmine Green Milk Tea - 0/5 disgusting drink. They need to bring back the family.. this used to be a family owned shop. This was super sweet even more than the coffee, the tea is diluted, no taste of jasmine at all. I watched one of the worker split a mango drink into 3 cups and it was short measured. Instead of making more, each drink had about 2 inches of air in each cup. I wouldn't recommend this place if you've had boba before.. if you're new and live in haltom, be my guest. But take the time someday to try the ones that are franchised.

Yelp
This company steals from you after they close for the day. PAY WITH CASH!!!! They stole from me! This is the second time. I realize it's only a dollar, but stealing is stealing. REFUND MY DAMN ACCOUNT! BAD BUSINESS! Watch your checking accounts people, they may be giving themselves even bigger tips!!!!! I'm on the phone with cashapp to have my account refunded.

Jandy A.

Yelp
Absolutely Love their Bobba Tea!! my favorite is Coconut blend with coffee jelly's and boba! Definitely recommend

Nick N.

Yelp
Super fast! Love this place. Please keep it fast because I hate slow boba tea places!

John S.

Yelp
I haven't eaten here, but they have the best bobas in the metroplex! And such a large variety of them it puts all others to shame
google avatar

Kathy N.

Yelp
I usually only go here for the Mocha Madness boba tea. Best mocha boba ever! A lot of people like the Strawberry Avalanche as well but I just prefer chocolate over anything. I've tried the Strawberry and it's pretty good. Their food is alright, more on the fusion side. It isn't bad though but being Vietnamese, I just prefer authentic asian/Vietnamese food.
google avatar

Kearsy H.

Yelp
Their drinks are good. But the customer service is terrible. Me and my fiancée were getting drinks for us and our family. Ordered a total of 8 drinks. The person who was taking our order looked at us in shock when we told her the first 7 drinks were the same. Then asked for the last drink to be different just a simple milk tea with no boba. After asking if I wanted boba I said again "no boba please" she really said "you're getting boba" Ok??? I wouldn't go back unless you actually WANT to be mistreated. Thanks for the unwanted boba ig :))

Aaron R.

Yelp
Came in 15 minutes before closing to be met with the rudest service. They also said they were "out of boba" and reluctantly made my drinks which ended up being subpar. Would give 0 if I could. Go somewhere else.

Samuel H.

Yelp
Come here to eat every once and a while with friends, genuinely enjoy the food and boba!

Gerardo R.

Yelp
Place has the worst service!!! So un organized kept giving customers the wrong orders. So rude did not speak to customers like professionals. Took almost an hour to get my food when I was told 22 min. Never going back

Elder G.

Yelp
Is my fav place I been in boba for like 3 year Is super good and the best I like more is straberry avalanche the best one
google avatar

Arlean C.

Yelp
i have been going to the same boba place for 2 years now and i love this place ! Me and my aunt go all the time. Just the only thing is that when its past like 2 they dont have anymore boba .
google avatar

Adriana Z.

Yelp
They have good drinks but seriously are always out of the tapioca pearls, I've come many diff times of the day and almost always are out of boba, very disappointing. I'm not really sure why they can't consistently make the boba I wouldn't waste time on going and hoping they'll have some made! :/ service is almost always short not very welcoming
google avatar

Tram N.

Yelp
This place still makes good boba! Tapioca balls are still perfectly cooked! The strawberry avalanche is still our favorite go to drink.
google avatar

Julien Nguyen ..

Yelp
I love this place. The tarp slush with boba is my favorite! As of today their credit card capabilities are non functional. It's a temporary situation so make sure to take cash. Also, I didn't know before today that they also have Ph! Haven't tried it! I'll update my review when I do.

Yelp
First thing that happened: Walked into BTH, and the workers were disclaiming that there was no boba :( -1 star. The place is dark and no seating... the whole place left depressing. But, what they lacked in ambiance, I thought they would make up in quality. -1 star for lack of any sort of ambiance. I actually felt sad as soon as I stepped my foot in this place. We got our drinks, and my boba-less milk tea (which was like 3.75 pre-tax) tasted extremely powderly and not "tea" enough. -1 stars for an overpriced cup of powder when I could have just gone to Fruitealicous to get a quality cup of milk tea at the same price. Plus, it's closer to home :D OH AND I FORGOT TO ADD: 95% of my cup was filled with ice... picture enclosed~ -1 star

Yelp
I wanna like this place more but the Vietnamese restaurant two doors down makes a much better boba tea. The shop looks a bit run down from the outside with a peeling sign. Inside however it was nice and clean. I was disappointed in the lack of a bean option, I'm a sucker for red bean. Instead I fell back to my trusty back up the Taro Milk Tea. The drink was ok, not the best but far from the worst. My big complaint was the rainbow jelly. It had coconut in it, and I hate coconut. When I asked them to switch it out (before the drink was even made) they said they would but didn't. It's doubtful I'll come back when there's a better product for me two doors down.
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Hands down the best out of all the Boba Tea House locations. They don't make their drinks overly sweet like the other locations so that puts them at the top along with their diverse menu. They now offer a mangonada drink that I have yet to try and also some other new drinks. I love that they offer other things like cha lua and various other Vietnamese food items but they don't actually serve food in the store, you just get your drinks and go. Fast, easy, and good.
google avatar

Kristen T.

Yelp
I am very picky about my Boba and Taro milk tea. Both elements were perfect, the boba was soft and chewy and the milk tea was smooth and had just the right amount of taro flavor.
google avatar

Ni N.

Yelp
It seems like I'm the unlucky one here. I been always receiving BAD customer service! I MEAN BAD. WORST THING EVER HERE. Upon walking they never greet you just look and wait till you order so you can leave. Ordered the thai tea w/ boba no ice. Ice always water their drinks down. I got my drink quick since i was the only customer and when I got my drink, the cup wasn't even filled up all the way! I asked the guy, why wasn't it filled up and he just ignored & looked at the cashier expecting her to answer for him. Very rude. Can't you talk? The cashier made some dumb excuses about their tea is very sweet and it will ruin the taste "if they fill it up." Didn't have time to argue because they will always want to say they're right. Just told them to fill it up w ice instead. I even said thankyou and the guy who made the drink didn't even gave eye contact nor say anything back. Very rude and so unprofessional. If you can't interact with your customers why are you working at a people-environment? I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE OR ANY BTH LOCATIONS AGAIN. WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY DOES AFFECT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
google avatar

Mayra F.

Yelp
This is the second time I've gone and they've run out of boba. I don't feel like I should have to call q boba house ahead of time to check if they have boba. Their thai tea boba slush/smoothie is delicious when I can get it.

Heily L.

Yelp
worst customer service, they treat you like dumb and they are so disrespectful 0 kindness and my tea had some white particles on it that I don't even know what it was. never go there
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Sometimes I get on this Boba kick and I just want it all the time. I happened to be on one of these kicks when I was visiting my hometown. I knew where some places were but nothing nearby so I did a quick search on my yelp app and found this spot in Haltom City. The place is on the smaller side, but had friendly service. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with tapioca. It was delicious! I think that they could spruce up the place a bit and maybe add a couple of tables so people can hang out if they want. I would definitely stop back by here to try more of the menu!
google avatar

Lilan N.

Yelp
Love the mocha madness here! The drink is the perfect blend of coffee + mocha and the coffee jelly really adds texture to this drink.
google avatar

Nadia O.

Yelp
This place is kind of in a rundown area, but it's like Gold. I got the Strawberry Avalanche and Oreo one. They were yummmyyyyy! :) I will tell then to not put as much boba in it next time.

Joannely L.

Yelp
ok so i go here all the time and never had an issue but today i got my regular boba and after i got in my car i found a damn brown HAIR in my boba i was disgusted and disappointed so i went back and talked to one of the workers , told them that there was a HAIR in my boba and tried to show them. They didn't see it at first then tried to say that it was just ice but when i moved it with my straw it would move like a hair! They didn't say anything to me after that no apology, no bye , no have a nice day literally nothing then they just tossed the straw on the table and placed down the new boba . :( anyways ,moral of this experience is CHECK YOUR BOBA FOR HAIR!!!
google avatar

Jackie L.

Yelp
So I went in because I luv this place, but they got have this new kid working there, and he is too busy trying to be cute and act like an airhead, he doesn't take your order wrong. I asked for a honeydew boba milk tea a with lychee piping boba with strawberry jelly and no boba. As you can see it's not a milk tea and it has regular boba as well. Same with the smoothie. Then he still told me I order 2 smoothies. And his boss told me he didn't write but you told him. First of all they can never hear you because it's so loud in there, and he kept messing my order wrong. The lady should of made my order right. They just lost a customer.

Guadalupe M.

Yelp
The best part is when you come to a Boba Tea House, and they don't have Boba available maybe just because I'm pregnant but that's really bothering considering you should always have it available, I mean cmon BOBA TEA HOUSE.
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
In my opinion the best place to get boba drinks! My personal favorites: Thai tea smoothie and Strawberry smoothie. You cannot go wrong with either of these! The strawberry smoothie is not powder and you can tell from the fresh taste of the strawberries and even see the itty bitty seeds. Tip: Get a card from them and each time you get a boba drink they will punch a hole in it, on the 8th punch hole you get a free drink. You can save the card and show it to them on your next purchase if you'd like!
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Typical boba menu: coffee, teas, slushies, smoothies, and a select number of unique mixes--I did see a lychee colada that sounded interesting. Decor....strangely empty. No chairs except for bleacher-like seating against the window. It's like they want to say, "order and get out!" Wasn't busy, no line, but it took awhile for them to make 2 drinks. I got the taro slushie and my friend got the grass jelly milk tea. I like the fact that they even had grass jelly. Their tapioca is good. Both drinks were decent. Loved the amusing decor (Mona Llisa and American Gothic paintings holding a boba drink). Besides that, it looked like an empty suite where doesn't look like they finished moving in.
google avatar

Pita S.

Yelp
I come here when I'm really feeling something sweet and cold. I recommend the strawberry avalanche for first timers or for anyone curious. They ask you if you want boba or not. They customize orders. The menu is full of variety as well so there are many options.
google avatar

Ngan T.

Yelp
I used to come to this place a lot but I stopped because they're always run out of ingredients. I was eating near by so I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a avocado smoothie w boba. As I started to look at their bobas I saw mini boba. So I asked if I can changed my reg bobas to the mini since he HAVEN'T STARTED my drink. He answered he CANNOT do that. Then I ask if I can pay extra to get both or change it. He madly answered again " MY BOSS DOES NOT LIKE ME DOING THAT " Of course your boss does not like money or business because I will NEVER COME AGAIN. The taste of the drink has been DOWNGRADED: The drink are very chunky with ice and very light avocado taste. Boba are very slimy on the outside but hard on the inside. The avocado was a light brown color. Gave them one star for the decent price.
google avatar

Sammi L.

Yelp
Wow, this was my first time ever visiting Texas. I decided to stop by this boba shop on Wednesday morning to get my weekly dose of tea. The interior was a bit ghetto for my liking, but the staff was very helpful. My cashier was a nice boy. The one with the white hair and long eyelashes. He gave me my milk tea and it felt like it was made of love and care. The tea tasted fresh as well as the boba, which had the tender and bouncy texture the way I like it. I think I might come back again just to see him. Tipped him $5.00 just because he was such a darling to me. When he gave me my receipt our hands touched and I blushed a little. Hoping to see him again, and thank you for the amazing service Bubble Tea House!
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Horrible service!! Customers pay to get what they want.... NOT HERE!!! When you order be 700% sure that's what you want, apparently your order is "written in stone" at this location. I had just paid, the employee had not started on my drink and I decided to change my flavor. I was told I could not change it. I told him he didn't even start on my drink yet. I was then ignored. I asked for a refund and I was ignored. I left with no drink and no refund!! Don't get robbed, take your money elsewhere. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
google avatar

Ricardo G.

Yelp
Love their drinks made fresh! Many options to chose from and the staff are awesome! The prices aren't that bad and their choices are many! I got their Strawberry Avalanche so far it's not bad and their Mango smoothie as well with strawberry boba! However the only downside is that there isn't any tables or chairs to sit and enjoy your drinks it more of a come and go kinda type like take out. However still a nice little place!
google avatar

Krisi D.

Yelp
I love this place I use to come here weekly to get my boba tea treat! The people here are so nice I always get the Hazelnut flavor with boba and coffee crystal it's honestly better then a Starbucks Frappacino.

Fermin E.

Yelp
From all the years of service, this business has never ever given me problems. The drinks are absolutely delicious. It has to be one of the best bobas places in all in Fort Worth. The staff are very sweet people who will work on your order as fast as possible, just as soon you place your order.
google avatar

Simon R.

Yelp
Price is great compared to other Boba places in the area, and also, THANK YOU for having all the flavor choices!
google avatar

Adrianne T.

Yelp
If I'm ever in the Haltom City area, I always, without fail, stop by to get their boba tea. It's not that their boba tea is fantastic though, it's moreso because this place is one of those not-so-common places that's dedicated to making boba tea. In the FW area, usually the only boba tea you will find are at Asian restaurants that happen to sell boba tea on the side. This is one restaurant that specializes in boba tea so that's why I always stop by. I'm more of a milk tea person & I've tried SO SO many milk teas at a variety of places. It's sort of how I rate any boba tea place since milk tea is the original boba tea. This place's milk tea is average. Nothing special, but good enough. I've had worst honestly. But around the FW area, it's the best original milk tea. On the other hand, this place's taro boba tea is very good & very sweet if you have a sweet tooth. Their mango boba tea-smoothie style is very good too. I'd say that that's a very good flavor if you are in the mood for something fruity.
google avatar

Dianely L.

Yelp
I love getting boba here~ I have enjoyed all of the teas and smoothies I have had here. I usually get some kind of fruit flavor (especially love tango5, mango, and piña colada flavors). I recommend adding lychee jelly or other add ons when you get fruit flavors. It's soooo good! The milks teas are usually great too; my fave is the honeydew milk tea. The staff is always friendly, and they are usually pretty quick with finishing my order. Also love that Wednesdays you can buy 3 get 1 free~

Yelp
While I was in Ft. Worth with my boyfriend, I have a huge craving for boba. So naturally, I Yelped it and found this place... Usually, I don't judge anything that's in the 'hood or a hole in the wall. Actually, I am quite open minded to them since they're the rare gems in the city. BUT this place was quite dirty, looked like a warehouse, probably because they sell pickled meats and stuff, and the tea was not that great. We actually did not finish our teas. I will probably never go to this place again...but keep in mind, it could just be this particular location. The other location listed on their cup had menu items and other things...so I'm thinking that one is the winner. When and if I go, I'll be sure to update and let y'all know. As for now, no thanks.
google avatar

Shymone B.

Yelp
I'm the Duke and haven't even left a review yet. Shame on me. This place is always consistent when it comes to fresh boba. I've never been disappointed. I always get the Thai Green Tea w/boba. The boba is always perfectly cooked and fresh. The Thai Green Tea is amazing and you can tell it's made fresh and not powder. This has been my go to spot for boba and will stay that way. Staff/service is always on point so complaints here. I wish they were open on Mondays though.
google avatar

Debra T.

Yelp
My problems were solved once I found Boba Tea House. I tend to crave Milk Tea W/ Pearls from time to time and I couldn't find any delicious Boba places to satisfy my craving in Fort Worth. Thank goodness for BTH.
google avatar

Raleigh B.

Yelp
After a pho fix, I usually find myself drawn to the Boba Tea House to finish my jaunt on Belknap. As you walk in, you see well variations of well known and respected paintings with little Boba drink gems hidden in the swirling strokes. This is definitely an indication of the type of friendly and fun people who own the establishment. The staff is always attentive, smiling, and quick to make your order. I highly recommend any of the milk teas with boba (thai tea, coconut, and honeydew seem to be my three regulars). I also can highly recommend the frozen coffee drinks with boba as well. So if you're in the area, give this place a shot! And remember, slurp softly, but carry a big straw.
