We were grocery shopping next door and stumbled upon Bobae Noodle House, a Korean-Chinese fusion spot with a cute, cozy vibe.
We were seated right away and handed menus. Within minutes, our server brought water and a small tray of different pickled radishes.
The menu is extensive, but we were in a double-squid mood. We went with the Whole Squid Jjamppong and the Garlic Pepper Squid.
The Whole Squid Jjamppong came out steaming hot, with a rich, flavorful broth. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and they even gave us utensils to cut the squid, which was cooked perfectly.
The Garlic Pepper Squid was super crispy, spicy, garlicky, and just plain delicious.
Both dishes hit the spot, and the portions were big—we got full and still took home half of each dish.
We’ll definitely be back with friends to try more of the menu since everything is sharing portions.
