BOBAHEAD - Corvallis

The boba and tea are super delicious!! I got the mango green tea at half sweetness with tapioca boba, and the mango smoothie. Very good consistency for the tapioca pearls, probably the best in Corvallis that I've had so far. The service was slow but it's the summer so that's to be expected, I'm sure it's better when classes are in session.

Nice Boba spot. Great location and prices are decent. They have nice cups and the flavors was nice. The location is large and their floor design could been more efficient

Let me preface this by saying I've had lots of boba in Taiwan (where boba originated), all over LA, Seattle, and Portland. I drink boba at least 4 times a week and make my own boba at home. I moved to Corvallis 3 years ago from a big city and was devastated by how horrible the boba scene was. Like an oasis in the desert, Bobahead's opening has been a blessing in Corvallis for me. To be honest, if I were to compare Bobahead to boba places in the cities, it would not be getting 5 stars. However, this is THE BEST place in Corvallis, and I cannot afford to lose it. Their sugar levels are of course too much for an Asian like me who is used to less sweet versions of desserts, so I usually go for 50% or 25% sweetness. Their boba though, is definitely not the best I've had. The texture and quality are not always consistent, usually a good chewy and springy, but sometimes leans toward overcooked where the boba falls apart too easily. They do have a sweet taste, which means they probably braise their boba in sweet syrup, as they should. With all that said, here is a quick rundown of some of my favorites: - Green tea creama: my go-to. The creama, which is like a fluffy creamy foam on top of the green tea, is different from a milk tea in that it adds a light milky taste to the drink rather than a full milk tea. - Jasmine milk tea: is a classic. - Fresh strawberry tea: not all boba places carry this, but it's my favorite in the summer, with real strawberries blended in the tea for a really refreshing drink. - Wintermelon black/milk tea: wintermelon is a fruit widely used in Asian food. Usually for a wintermelon drink though, it's syrup or a melted block of wintermelon sugar, which could sound gross, but it's amazing, I promise. I hope Bobahead will one day make a non-caffeinated wintermelon drink, because that's a classic go-to when you want boba without caffeine. Parking is sometimes difficult, as there is limited street parking on Monroe. I do enjoy sitting here to study/work, especially at the back tables where it's more secluded from the people traffic!

Love the selection of flavors and different options for add-ins! Service is very friendly and helpful too so if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, I know I did because they weren't very busy! They have punch cards too so if you think you'll be back or are ordering a lot at once make sure to take advantage of it! 🧋💞

Yum! Fun, open, clean space. Clear and simple menu. Delicious boba! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Take it to-go. Currently no indoor seating allowed. (1/4/21)

So good! Nice variety and terrific employees! We love this place! Staff recommendations are always fun and helpful. Love that you can adjust the sweetness level. I love the americano with cocoa foam, my dad and son love the original milk tea 25% sweet. Everything tastes good here, and between us all in my family, we have tried it all.

Ayumi was very nice, I was shocked how fast my drink was made. Definitely coming back and hopefully she’s back there!

Boba tea is great best thing about this place is they make it easy to order and if you don't like it they will make you a new drink if you don't like your tea. The staff are very friendly

I love this spot. Very quick service and great boba. I usually get mine with 50-75% sweetness, which I highly recommend. They also have a large variety on the menu, which is super nice.

It was so hard to find a decent boba spot in the area but all my friends hyped this one up most so I had to try it. I got the mango smoothie with mango crystal. I'm not sure if they use fresh fruit but it tasted artificial/like a powder. The mango crystals were just okay. It's cute inside and there's a few tables so that's nice. Nothing to rave about though. I came here during a long visit in the summer and I visited so often, I filled up their punchcard w my partner within a week! I would rate this shop a 4/5 stars in areas with a higher competition for boba, but for Corvallis, this place is definitely a 5/5 stars. My favorite order was the Green Tea Crema! It has lighter milk than an actual milk tea and I just adore its creaminess with the strong tea taste. I ordered it 2-3 times out of the 5-6 drinks I had there. I've tried teas with milk foam at local boba shops where I live and they still don't compare. The actual pearl consistency was mostly good, only one off day from what I remember. Their prices were reasonable and I definitely wish I could still easily drop by. My only complaints are the small menu (however, I understand this is a local shop and not a chain) and how sweet their drinks are. I normally get mine at 75% and even 50% was about 100% anywhere else. If you visit here, you'll regret a too sweet drink more than a not sweet drink so keep that in mind. Overall, I recommend this shop!!!!

Out of all the boba places I've been to, this is definitely top 5, and I've been to alot of places! They just seem to never do me wrong with whatever drink I get, it always tastes good, sweetness works well, and employees are nice. I can't hate it, especially for a place in corvallis. I'm very glad that there's such a good boba place here!

Workers are nice and the store is kept clean, unfortunately their online menu hasn't been updated so I wasn't able to get what I wanted. Please change the menu on your website if you don't carry certain bobas anymore. I had looked at the menu on your website so I could decide what I wanted ahead of time only to find out in store that you changed your menu but never updated it.

Every city needs a good boba tea place, and this one might just be it! We ordered the mango milk tea and taro milk tea -- both were quite tasty! You can customize your sugar levels and add a variety of toppings, boba of course being one. You can't customize the ice level, but you can get your drink with or without ice. They don't fill the whole cup up with ice though, so I felt the ice level was totally reasonable. If you like a strong drink flavor without all the sweetness, I definitely recommend ordering either the taro or the mango with 50% or less sugar. Will have to come back next time and try a more classic milk tea!

If you attend OSU, this is the perfect spot to get that midday refresher. The quality of the boba is good, and you can choose the level of sweetness. Even if you choose 100% sweetness, it won't be too sweet, which is perfect. During school days, they tend to be very busy, so be ready to wait a little bit. The place is aesthetically pleasing and spacious!

We stopped by this place a few times during our weekend in Corvallis as it was one of the few boba places in the area. They have expansive options from to both tea and coffee to satisfy everyone. Highly recommend checking out to get your boba fix. The line is a bit slow moving, but it is worth it. No inside seating just yet due to covid.

It's a really good place for boba tea. It's a really cute little place with colorful wall decor, and a really nice and neat set up. I got the classic milk tea with tapioca boba. The drink overall was really good, but it was a little too sweet for me but next time I'll ask for half sugar. The boba was a great chewy was for me.

Was excited about this place when they first opened. They have really good boba but it's not worth the long wait, which happens way too often. Only one cashier and one bobarista, even when the line is out the door. It's been over a year, management needs to figure this out. Went to April's tea house instead after the line wasn't moving for 10 mins...

If you're just coming for the Boba tea, the prices are reasonable. Recently they switched from the typical black tapioca pearls to these clear, yellow translucent pearls. They insisted that they taste the same, but they do not.

I love getting boba tea from here! The brown sugar with crema is my favorite! I also appreciate how nice the inside is. Their boba is super good and fresh. I highly recommend going here for a cozy day drink. I also love the Taro milk tea! Go for it!

Fresh decor, clean, and a friendly staff with a comfortable sound level of Jamaican music playing and a menu offering fantastic drinks. I had the coconut and was blown away by the flavor. Will be going back again and again...

YAY we have been blessed with bobahead. Boy o boy am I glad that there is a decent milk tea spot in town! This is going to fix my daily needs : ) the people who work here are super nice too. Definitely will be coming back (often)!

Boba head is solid. The service is normally satisfactory and they even have a little screen so you can order your drinks from there and not have to talk to anyone if you prefer that. The drinks are good and seem to come out in a timely manner, as long as they have boba. The ambience is nicer than most places in Corvallis. Overall it's definitely worth trying.

It was my first time coming to Bobahead and I was not disappointed! I ordered a Taro milk tea with lychee and it was definitely one of the better ones I've had! The only thing is that my drink became a little powdery towards the end, but that won't stop me from coming by again next time I'm in town!

Glad to have been the last group to get some tapioca pearls before they ran out. Our group had Thai, Taro, and Peach bubble teas. They were great! Good service, fast, and delicious. Definitely happy I did 50% sugar on the peach, as I can't imagine how over-sweetened it would've been at 100% 0_O

A tad expensive for tea at $5 for most items with an extra add ons like boba costing $.50. I've been here twice and the first time the order was fine. Second time they gave me popping boba instead of regular boba. Im a bit peeved considering the cashier even reconfirmed that i wanted regular boba and she wrote the correct order on the cup

The interior of the place is really nice. The menu is also layer out very nicely. I got the Jasmine Tea with boba. I got it at a 50% sweetness and that was perfect for me. If you aren't into really sweet drinks. I recommend getting your drink 75% sweetness or less.

We stopped for a quick stop and I saw this place and it looked good. So I got a smoothie with boba in it and it was delicious. This place was so amazing and I'm for sure coming hear again.

Brown sugar milk tea is so good!! The boba itself is A+. It is soft, chewy, and sweet. Most boba places have bad boba around here, but this place hits the mark.

I love the drinks here! Every time when I'm craving a refreshing drink, bobahead does not disappoint. I particular love their fruit tea series with crystal bob. Guava fruit tea taste really good! I'd always order with 50% sugar to balance the sweetness and juice flavor. They also have excellent service and short waiting time.

Friendly customer Service, nice environment but they do not have any vegan bubble milk tea options which is a huge bummer. Corvallis really needs vegan options everywhere so for them to not be able to have an alternative creamer for vegans is pretty lame. They have smoothies and teas, the guava lime one is very good, but if you are looking for a traditional bubble tea and are vegan, this isn't the place

Their Black Tea Crema (50% sweet with boba) is the best bubble tea drink I have ever had. The crema on top is salty and sweet and creamy, and mixes well with the tea as you drink. FYI, their bathroom is closed due to COVID.

Super dope place and great service! I loved the takoyaki and rose milk tea :). Had no problem with picking up an order and ordering in person

Horrible customer service and extremely racist staff. Its very dirty inside and staff take forever to make your drink the way you ordered it. Staff argues with you if your drink is not made right and they refuse to remake it. I would not recommend going here which is disappointing since it is one of only a few boba places in Corvallis.

Great boba! All the drinks are pretty spot on. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea and Passion/Mango Tea are my top favorites so far! Friendly and helpful employees. So glad they're in Corvallis now!

Hot tea with boba is a game changer! They were patient when we were asking questions about the menu and then so quick to make our order. Caught them when there was no line.

BEST BOBA EVER!!!! no order is bad literally everything is good. service is amazing, so fast and the staff is always SO nice!!! it always picks up my mood to see everyone in there smiling, happy to make my drink. if your not sure what to get, my favorite is the mango passion fruit tea with double strawberry popping boba :) cant get enough of that it's the bomb

some flavors are good, like the matcha, but the lavender was terrible. it tasted way oversteeped. when i went the second time they were out of tapioca so i tried crystal boba, BIG MISTAKE. if you've ever heard of orbeez they literally look, feel and probably taste like them too because it made my whole drink inedible. not their fault though just a bad drink to me. service is always fast and they're pretty nice.
