Bobby Mao's Chinese Kitchen + Mexican Cantina

My friend Mark Maynard sang tonight. He sings great!!! He sings on Fridays from 6-9 PM It was a great show. And the service, drinks and food was really good.

Chinese and Mexican together! Whats not to love!!!The food selection was definitely unique! Everything tastes really good, I had the Szechuan Chicken Burrito💥..👍🏽(I'm different)

This one was a tough one because the musical entertainment is 4 to 5 star and the service is good but the food is a 1. However, we appreciate the creativity of attempting to make Mexican and Chinese in the same building but it just don’t go together. We also get the concept of somebody being in the mood for Mexican and then the other person(s) you’re with in the mood for Chinese. But what ends up happening is you try everyone else’s food for the uniqueness of the concept. Unfortunately, it ends up that neither of the cuisine’s are authentic and it just becomes a Americanized miss match that results in disappointing fusion. Another thing is ... The prices are a tad high for what you’re getting and they don’t even have a regular wine list as we requested? The server was like .. “A wine list” ? They only have the cheap stuff by the glass? The servers are good and friendly with (checking on you) but not knowledgeable. It’s not there fault, it’s a creative management problem, I’m assuming the people who gave them over a three star is not expecting traditional Las Vegas service which is usually exceptional as a rule. However, we would like to recommend most of the entertainers here. They have nightly singers that are really good coming from all different genres and backgrounds. Just make sure you eat before you come.

The service was wonderful but the food was overpriced, either too bland or too spicy, and had small portions. The salsa was flavorless. The chips were thick and bland. The tacos, on the other hands, had some sauce on them that was very spicy but not in a good way. There wasn't any middle ground. It took a while for our orders to arrive. We're just ordered a bunch of their happy hour tacos to share. The flavor combinations didn't suit anyone in our group. One taco was $7. They were great with allergy stuff though.... cooked her stuff in a different pan and everything! I can see why it's normally deserted even though it's in a mall.

My dad and I came here a couple days ago. The mall is just starting to reopen so everything wasn't very busy. But there were more people in the Red Robin next door, which was surprising considering the taste of the food here!! I hate spicy food and typically the chips and salsa anywhere is way too spicy for me. Their chips were made fresh and warm and the salsa had just enough of a kick and was incredibly fresh tasting. I got the sesame chicken which had an amazing crisp and flavor and my dad got one of their new Mexican burgers which he devoured and couldn't stop raving about. It also came with a side of Mexican corn which I've been craving so that was a pleasant surprise. His fries came with their homemade ketchup which he really liked and he isn't a huge fan of ketchup! I was just sad I didn't save room for dessert! The service and the food were both wonderful and if youre debating between here and Red Robin, I'd go here!!!!!

The server was wonderful and the drinks were well made but the food was absolutely horrible. The sesame chicken was heavily breaded and all I could taste was fried bread. The flavor was completely lost because of that. My husband got the Mongolian tacos and they were disgusting like dog food. I thought the idea of combining chinese and mexican food was going to be great due to the fact both are usually so flavorful. Unfortunately, they failed at both. Panda is better than this place.

We were at the Henderson NV location. I don't tend to leave bad reviews but this is an exception. Service was severely lacking. It was like we were an inconvenience. We were one of 2 or 3 tables, this place is always empty. Way overpriced for mediocre food at best. The menu doesn't list all ingredients in basic food items and so I ended up getting something I am allergic to. We asked about ingredients and the waiter told us, we explained my allergy and he shrugged and walked away. Asked manager ingredients and he wasn't sure but claimed that they definitely didn't contain my allergen (which they clearly did). He informed us we could have avoided this whole mess by informing the waiter of all of our allergies whether we think they are in the food or not (yes, that's on me I suppose) and basically blamed it on us. We had actually asked for 2 ingredients for the fajitas to be separate from everything else because of my allergies but it came all lumped together with the sour cream on top of it. We had asked for 1 ingredient left out entirely because of my allergy but it was brought anyway. Food didn't even taste good. Never again....now we know why they are always empty. We went across the way to Red Robin so I could eat something I am not allergic to. They said customers come over from Bobby Maos often. Save your money and tastebuds and stay away.

If you're in the mood for Americanized Chinese or Mexican food, that nostalgic, not so great stuff that you used to get for take out as a child, then this is your place. If you are looking for an awesome authentic meal out, please move along. I would say that the food here is the classic American take out. Made quickly with cheap ingredients. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it is what it is. The service is fast and pretty attentive. The decor leaves little to be desired though. Dark and dated.
