Bobby's Eastside

Our new go-to for sports and food! We tried just about everything on the menu on a Sunday funday. The smash burger is by far the best around, but don’t sleep on the wings, onion rings, and tenders. All delicious, fresh, and will be ordered again!

I went on a Monday and got the Westside Bocce Burger and Fries and the Coney Dog both were awesome! Great prices and family atmosphere. Heard they’re doing $5.00 burgers on Wednesday when you buy a ticket to the Roberts Westside concert. I’ll be back!

This place is very quickly becoming a favorite. Great burgers, chicken strips, and fries (and ranch!). We’ve gotten takeout from here a few times and it never disappoints. The vibe of the bar seems so cozy and the staff is friendly. Will need to drop in for a drink next time!

Best salad I’ve had in years!! Truly. The dressing on the kale salad was out of this world! Chicken tenders were juicy and perfectly seasoned. Awesome smash burgers. Very family friendly. Great music and drinks as well! So excited to have this in the neighborhood.

I almost want to gate keep this place because I am unsure how its not one of the most reviewed and highly rated places in Forest Park or a 5 mile radius of it. The fries are arguably the best I have ever eaten. I dont know what they are coated in but if you told me crack dust I wouldnt not believe it. My husband had the smash burger on two different ocassions and he said it was excellent both times. I have had the chicken cesaer wrap and its scrumptious! I came back for the fries and Bobby refresher (delicious vodka based cocktail). First time we came it was a saturday afternoon and they had live music which was nice but a tad loud. The second time was a Sunday afternoon and they had bingo! The atmosphere feels like a hipster sports bar. We love it. Its truly a gem that anyone in the Forest Park area should try out at least once.

Fantastic food! I had the Oklahoma Onion Burger and highly recommend. I took my meal into the concert venue and enjoyed great live music while I ate. We’re very lucky to have this music venue, bar and restaurant in Forest Park!

This is my favorite bar. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I love the bartender named Maisie. She is so sweet and silly and very kind as well. GIVE HER A GOOD TIP!!!!!!!

New favorite burger spot! The smashburger is cooked to perfection and perfectly sauced. Great place to catch a football game (wings are delicious) and it's family friendly.

Bobby's Eastside is the sister (brother?) venue of Robert's Westside. Bobby's is a slightly less formal venue where there are more free shows, a smaller stage, and a bit different drinks and food. Bobby's is amazing! The drinks are spectacular, with more cocktails and a few less beers on tap. But you can usually get various drinks and food on either side depending on the shows happening at a time. But, let's talk about Bobby's specifically. The staff are amazing - super friendly and helpful. Want a variation on a drink? Chances are they can do it. The entertainment is first rate, always! And the food they recently started providing is absolutely amazing! Seriously, order food. I promise you won't be unhappy. It's so good. Beyond that, they have all kinds of events and special groups who you can support, from LGBTQ groups to pets and animals to homeless people to anything else. Donnie and the staff are seriously invested in helloing the community on all fronts. I go to Bobby's (and Roberts) quite often. The staff is awesome, Donnie is awesome. The venue is awesome. The food is awesome. And the talent is awesome. If you have not been here, you are missing out on the best thing in River Forest/Forest Park/Oak Park. Say hi and I'll buy you a beer.

Not only was the food great, so was the service! We went there tonight to watch the Blue Jays game (traveling from Toronto) the game went into overtime (18 innings total, crazy right?!?) Jack let us stay almost two hours after close to keep watching the game! Top notch Also the seating is plentiful, the washrooms are clean, parking is right outside or across the street, the vibe is comfort and the people are friendly. I'd highly recommend anyone to check it out! Also Jack you totally rock!

Wow. This place massively exceeded expectations. If you've ever been to Roberts Westside, you already know these guys set the bar for live music and neighborhood energy. So when I heard they were opening Bobby's Eastside next door, I'll admit -- I was skeptical. Could they really top themselves? They did. In a big way. Run by Billy Dunlap (of The Old Foal Promotions fame and the coolest mobile event truck in the Midwest), the team clearly saw what Forest Park was missing and went straight for it. The result? A spot that's equal parts stylish cocktail bar, laid-back hangout, and genuinely great restaurant. The handhelds are excellent -- Chicago soul with a fresh, modern twist -- and the vibe walks that perfect line between fun and refined. Not trying too hard, just nailing it. Even my five-year-old couldn't stop talking about the kids' menu (and he's not easy to impress). Between the energy of Roberts Westside and the flavor of Bobby's Eastside, this crew is building something really special in Forest Park. You can feel it -- that spark of a new neighborhood favorite in the making. Get down here, grab a drink, catch a set, and see what the buzz is about. These guys are doing it right.
