It was announced that the building was set to be demolished in mid-2018, and Bobby’s Idle Hour shared the final date on a Facebook post last week. Such a cool little dive bar. Just off the beaten path in Nashville. My Airbnb host recommended this place and made sure to let me know ahead of time that they only serve beer, which was not a problem for me. The parking lot is small and tight and the bar inside is exactly what I expected. A well-worn country bar. There are plenty of things to look out on the walls which add to the atmosphere. This place. I got there just after the music ended, but they have a cute little stage right in the front with a giant guitar hanging over it. The owner took a little while to warm up, but once you get him talking he's a really great guy. This is totally my kind of bar and I will absolutely go back here next time I'm in the area. They also have a surprisingly great selection of craft beer.

Ashton Angelle playing here tonight was amazing. Get busch light it's cheaper. Simple food menu. Lots of tables and bar stools and area in the back to drink. I don't think they have any cover bands here all original music and last bar on MUSIC ROW!!!

I went to a lot of bars in Nashville. But this unassuming dive made my entire bachelor party trip. What a welcoming place! With a vibe that's real, warm, and fun as hell. Thank you for being the highlight of my weekend.

Total Dive Hang w/ can service only, bags of chips and peanuts but a Legendary spot for music that some of the FINEST Artists, Songwriters and Muscians have graced the stage. Busy or Quiet, you won't be disappointed with the sounds you'll hear that will have you clapping for more!! This night was Nashville's own "American Scarecrow" stripped down with The Hound Brown & Gentleman Ben Williams, laying down some Americana Southern Soultune originals and a couple of covers too. ( Artists play for tips only so make sure you have some cash)

Just walking past and stumbled on the place and knew we should get a drink here. Story time, My group came in making noise and was very welcomed. As my friends bragged about another being able to sing and play guitar our hostess provided a guitar turning the tavern in a bit of a show. Moral of the story, grab a drink here it's a good time.

This is exactly what I was hoping to find in Nashville, a great dive bar with some fantastic musicians who actually play their own music instead of just covers for bachelorette parties. Drink prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of beers.

Bobby’s was exactly what I was hoping to find in Nashville – a genuine, down-to-earth dive bar with an authentic honky-tonk vibe. Without it, my Nashville experience would have felt incomplete. The owner's genuine kindness added to the welcoming atmosphere. It's a no-frills establishment where local musicians gather to play, and we were treated to a fantastic set by the talented up-and-comer, Randy Ross. I wholeheartedly recommend Bobby’s for anyone seeking a break from the bustling Broadway scene, that wants some creative comfort. It’s a hidden gem where you're sure to encounter some amazing people. Don't miss trying the Vienna Sausage with Tabasco and crackers – great music, snacks and beer. They Keep it simple and they do it well.
