Google
The food was crazy good. I highly recommend eating here. The tots are real delicious and so was the chicken sandwich. They have creative cocktails that are also really good. The prices are reasonable and the ambience is fresh.

Liz was our server. She was attentive and chill. We ended up getting there close to the ending of brunch. Liz did not rush us. We ordered cereal shots, 24K wings with 24K candied bacon and donut holes, and other breakfast stuff. It was all good.

Google
The atmosphere is very queer friendly and welcoming to all. The breakfast tacos are a great portion size and are very easy to eat. The sauce on them was perfect for the eggs , the potato’s that came with were delicious as well. The Carnitas bennies on a biscuit were layered nicely and had a perfect range of flavors. The Carnival waffles were standard, nice portion of fruit and ice cream to go with the waffle, could have been more generous with the Nutella however all together very tasty. The portions were all good for their prices, and the staff was very polite. Would go again.

Google
I was craving chicken and waffles so that what i got the other day & it was amazing! My chicken was fresh and crisp! I also loved the waffle which was soft and a great mix with the waffle. i took off the buffalo sauce and cheese that comes with the meal & it was so delicious! I will be coming back forsure. I tried a bae strawberry lemonade, It was good just too sugary, perhaps too much syrup. My friend got the salmon toast which looked so good & she said it tasted fireee! cant wait to try more things here, the food is a little pricey but the portion fits the price to me especially since i have to always consider inflation being the reason why certain foods went up. I’m not complaining overall the food was a great temperature, taste, and good presentation. thank you to the servers and cooks!

Google
Pros: -the minosa / bloody Mary bar was AWESOME! and such a cool idea! -Waitress was super nice, talkative, and friendly -food came out really quick -cute environment (there was like a bridal brunch going on too) Cons: -it was a Saturday morning so had to park a little farther away -food wasn't the best. Good not great. Smaller portion than expected too

Google
Crispy roasted Brussel sprouts and artichoke dip for appetizers. The burgers were standard but the hash browns were delicious. A few decent vegetarian options on the menu as well. Great staff and friendly service in a very relaxed atmosphere

Google
Kind of a strange and unique place. Spinach artichoke dip was good, spicy chicken bowl and sesame chicken were both good. Lots of staff trying to keep up, didn’t even set my drink down when my glass was picked up! Nice place to try - I will visit one morning as I see they have some interesting choices for brunch.

Google
We have been to a couple locations, each one being different, and have loved all of them. The menu is unique with a good variety of items. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Quality of food is good! Parking isn't the best, but it gets the job done. There is a paid parking lot behind their shopping strip, but it is also used for the bus station. So there are lots of interesting characters around at all hours. Overall we enjoy this location.

Yelp
The food here is very good recommending the chicken strips. The workers are always polite. The scenery is very chill and relaxing. You can eat indoors and outdoors

Yelp
Make sure to have reservations for brunch as the wait can be long. The food is really tasty and in huge portions, so you could share a dish with someone if you wanted. Kind of loud but it's a popular place for brunch for sure. The drinks left A LOT to be desired. The boozy mimosa had 80% OJ, 10% ice and a splash of beer, vodka and a sprinkle of sparkling white wine that added NO bubbles and no flavor. We order 4 and after watching the last one made - realized what a waste of money we just spent. If you're not getting a draft beer then skip the cocktails completely and go down the street to C. Kings & Co. Cafe

Yelp
I love the cat. The avocado chicken sandwich situation is extraordinary. I also love the kale salad and would come back for that anytime. Cute location in downtown Ypsilanti. Highly recommend trying, especially for lunch or brunch.

Yelp
4 years on and Bobcat Bonnie's remains solid. We visited most recently for brunch when we wanted to catch up with good friends. I had perused the menu in advance and was glad to see gluten-free noted on a number of the menu items. We were able to be seated immediately, and after a small hiccup - we had to put the leg back on the bench side of our table, we were ready to start the meal. The second hiccup occurred when I felt something sharp on my lip as I drank my water. I felt the rim for a chip and noticed a crack going from the rim to the middle of the glass. Our server Amy quickly grabbed me a new one. Hiccups aside, it was a nice meal. I decided on the Uncle Jesse - a gluten-free option that was the breakfast hash equivalent of a meat lovers pizza. It was served in a skillet and enough for myself and at least one other person. We enjoyed our latest stop at Bobcat Bonnie's and will be sure to return again soon.

Yelp
First of all, the name is kickass and part of what drew us in, but the food is what will bring us back. If you are looking for a healthy, tasty, no-frills meal with a great atmosphere and excellent service, visit Bobcat Bonnie's! And I highly recommend the fish tacos!

Abby B.

Yelp
Okay Bobcat Bonnie's!! $9 full-sized, delicious cocktail? Tater tot nachos? A kick-butt burger that I stole bites of from my husband? Oh, and a coffee toffee brownie. All at a reasonable price, accompanied by really wonderful service. Consider me a fan!

Sarah J.

Yelp
I got the spicy chicken skillet, and the eggs were cooked exactly Ober medium, but the whole skillet lacked an acid element like a salsa or pickle. My coworkers really enjoyed their burgers, which seemed to be the bread and butter. The service was good and it was nice for lunch.

Aparna B.

Yelp
Came for burger night which was a steal. Burger, fries and a beer for $15! I always love how friendly the staff is and the fact their menu is so extensive and offers things for vegetarians and vegans. I never leave disappointed. The space is very inclusive, bright, colorful and fun!

Sarah C.

Yelp
Might have been the best espresso martini I've had! Our waitress was super friendly and gave great tips on popular menu items loved our quick little apps and drinks stop here. Lots to choose from on the menu and we sat next to the window in the restaurant which was lovely!

Yelp
(Last visited 3/9/2022.) Hanging out with some friends in Ypsilanti and while scrolling through Facebook I saw that someone had mentioned this place had "24k Gold Chicken Wings". Say what? Like, real gold? Apparently! So here we are to try these things out! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the corner of Michigan Ave and S. Washington is this gem. The exterior is modern, simple and blends in very well with the gorgeous red bricks of downtown Ypsilanti. Inside is very modern, open and chic. There are big windows that are excellent for people watching. There's exposed brick, exposed ventilation and tons of color painted onto the walls. The décor is lively, fun and inclusive. You can also see right into the open kitchen! This place is holding no secrets. Lol. Downstairs is actually a separate business, but there was live music, trivia or something always going on down there. There are also probably 75 classic arcade machines, pool tables and a huge bar. They have their own food, but only REALLY SIMPLE stuff, like hot dogs. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but our service was just fine. Food: So I'm here for the wings man! I get my order and I'm just blown away with the presentation. The wings were shimmering and now... don't get me wrong, somebody could've purchased some edible glitter and thrown it on these things then called them 24k Gold. 'Cause, why would you want to eat gold? Just to say you did? There's much better use for it. Lol. Anyway, the wings were delicious and the gold doesn't add any flavor at all. However the wings were big, juicy, cooked excellently and decently seasoned. Very good and would absolutely get them again. The jalapeno ranch was a great, creamy complement as well. I did get a chance to try their curly fries and they were crispy, decently salted, but nothing super special. However, the Truffle Tots were DELIGHTFUL. I'm a huge truffle fan and these had an excellent mild truffle taste with great saltiness from the Parmesan cheese. Value: These legendary gimmicky wings were $15.00 for 8. Totally worth it. But this isn't a cheap place, but it's not 5-star dining prices either. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this place and I hope it sticks around. It's fresh, it's unique, it's inclusive, IT IS YPSILANTI in a restaurant. I'm excited to come back here and try out some more stuff!

Yelp
Bobcat Bonnie's has something for everyone. They have several vegetarian & vegan options. Options for picky eaters & kids. Very fun cocktails. In the summer they have outdoor seating. Great vibe. This is one of my family's top favourite restaurants to go eat at.

Hillary M.

Yelp
This iteration of the Bobcat chain was pleasant with lovely staff and reliably tasty food. Always love mocktails on the menu for the sober among us, and they don't disappoint! The location is right on the corner with lots of sunlight through windows on each side and I recommend a spot near a window to enjoy the view. It's a little dark otherwise, depending on your preferences. The tots are a win, but would have loved some dipping sauce instead of asking for ketchup. Fish tacos were great and the cauliflower app had good flavors but was a bit too fried so it was more bread than anything else. Not quite a 5 star but a lovely dinner out and really great service with a creative menu.

Yelp
Best brunch spot in Ypsy, but $$$ expensive. Cool vibes, friendly staff. Bloody bar to die for, huge selection of add-ons - skip the food & just stick to this option :)

Delanie M.

Yelp
there's a Bobcat Bonnie's in Grand in Rapids, where I live, but I've actually never been. while visiting in the Detroit area, I was looking for something close by that had a vegan options. Bobcat Bonnie's looked like the best bet. trying to choose from the vegan options was actually very difficult for me. The three things I wanted all sounded good. vegan fish and chips, vegan fish, tacos, or vegan chick'n avo sandwich. I ended up going with the fish tacos which had avocado, cabbage, and chipotle aioli. I haven't tried many vegan fish substitutes, so I was excited. the dish did not disappoint. my mom (a non vegan) got the naan club and really enjoyed it. we also split a side of vegan chili tots which were of course delicious. fast-forward two days...my best friend wanted to go out to eat so we chose Bobcat Bonnie's again. I had to try that vegan chick'n avo sandwich. The sandwich did not disappoint and I actually preferred it over the tacos. during this trip I got curly fries which I did not love. I felt they were way too hard and crunchy. I suggest sticking to the tots if you don't like your fries like that.

Yelp
If you are looking for delicious food and drinks plus a place featuring a wildly diverse plant based menu, you have arrived! We visited on an early Saturday afternoon, and much to our surprise the place was busy, but no long waits! We were helped by Heather who was very friendly and welcoming. We got a mimosa and a lavender lemonade and the drinks were amazing! In addition, they offer a nice selection for their mimosa bar with many delicious garnishes and flavors. For the main course we had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs plus the vegan uncle Jesse. Both dishes were scrumptious and even better than expected. The American fries were cooked to perfection! So excited to have such a gem nearby!

Yelp
The food I've had here is reliably decent. Not good enough to make it my first choice very often, but decent. But they ARE the closest breakfast place to my house... which is why I sometimes think about how I would've spent thousands of dollars here by now, if they hadn't told me a few years ago (during the height of covid) that even though they do take-out, they won't do take out on their breakfast menu because it "doesn't travel well." IDK bro, I think that might be a skill issue, because I've gotten take-out from half the breakfast places in the county at this point and it has not been a problem. (I asked the guy at the time, if I came in and ordered at a table, then two seconds later asked for a box "for my leftovers", would they give me one? The answer was of course, yes. You see where I'm going with this, eh?) Anyway. Food's fine, but if you're immunocompromised or otherwise prefer not to eat on site, y'ain't allowed to have waffles.

Umami C.

Yelp
This is the kind of place that has every LGBTQ pride flag imaginable hanging all over its walls and yet the staff are blithely unaware of how extensively they are misgendering patrons. Rainbow capitalism, at it again. Also all the food is terribly dry.

Janae T.

Yelp
I have been here a few times and they never disappoint. The cereal shooters are delicious and very strong. They actually do represent what cereal you get. I've tried the buffalo chicken Nachos which were DELICIOUS. I've tried the Cinnamon French Toast which was Immaculate . The service is average, nothing really outstanding or bad. And the place is cute it's connected to like another arcade/bar. A lot of windows for a lot of light. Kind of rustic vibe

Alea N.

Yelp
Very friendly and thoughtful staff. Would have liked the portion sizes to be a bit bigger. I'm a big fan of leftovers. Creative drink menu!

Karen K.

Yelp
I'm pretty sure Kaitlyn was the name of our server...she was AMAZING! Super intuitive, very helpful with food choices, funny, and contagiously happy. I had a rhubarb cocktail that was super tasty. The food was good, but I am looking forward to trying more options from the vegetarian friendly menu. Absolutely love the artwork (thanks Joey) and the comfy seating. I'll be back for sure.

Julie N.

Yelp
Had never been here before. Definitely glad we stopped in for dinner. I had the meatloaf, and my wife had fish taco. Both were great. Our server, Ama, was very quick, professional, and friendly.

Mel B.

Yelp
Once a quarter I treat myself to Lunch at my favorite burger place, Yspi Bobcat Bonnie. I'm a Senior Citizen on a fixed income, so I spend my money only on good food, the food is good and ambliances is nice and quiet. I walk in and I sit my Butt at the Bar and order the Bobcat Burger with curly fries. The Bartender is very nice and friendly. He always recommends a good cider. The burger is yum yum delicious!! I'll see you guys next quarter. I might order something different. Idk...maybe..

Sandra I.

Yelp
Good food and great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and a nice bar downstairs Sunday brunch is awesome

Michelle F.

Yelp
My daughter chose this place for her birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. I made a reservation for 5 pm. The restaurant was medium busy so we probably would have gotten a table without one but they had our table all set and ready for us so I thought that was nice. We were welcomed right away by our server John. He got us some water and we asked for some menu suggestions since only my daughter had been here. She chose this place because she said they made amazing drinks. The food turned out to be delicious too! I had the famous bowl and ate every bit. My son had the hamburger. Someone had the loaded tots and the other had fish tacos. The menu has a lot of choices. My daughter loved her electric blue drink and it did look really cool. My husband and I had an ice cold draft Oberon. John did an awesome job! He was friendly and made us laugh. He came over the perfect amount of time and even laughed at my husband's dad jokes. The food came out hot and in a timely manner. Had a great experience here. I would definitely recommend. Plenty of parking available in the area too.

Kristen G.

Yelp
Husband and I stopped in today for brunch. The food was very tasty so we were happy. Overall I would say we were slightly surprised by the small portions, including the "double" mimosa that I ordered!

Liz W.

Yelp
The vibe here is casual. The food is a bit more interesting than most places. Not too out there, just different tweaks on familar classics. We were seated right away. It's spacious here, comfortable and welcoming. You can comfortably bring your vegetarian and vegan pals, there are a.lot of options. Plenty for meat eaters too, no worries The iced tea here is fantastic. Our waitress Heather was too. Super friendly and informative. Efficient too. We got served our food quickly and everything was correct. My husband had the bobcat burger and upgraded to totchos as his side. They were super loaded up. He liked both items. Portions were such he could not eat everything. I was over the moon with my lamb burger. The flavors are incredible. Fresh veggies, spicy feta spread, olive tampenade. Just utterly delicious. Ask for extra sauces, they are addictive. I upgraded to truffle parm tots and they were tasty too. Heather let us know that their weekend brunch runs until 3:30. Finally a brunch I can make it to. The menu looks fantastic and the DIY bloody Mary's and mimosas are tempting me. We will be back

Lyndsey M.

Yelp
Had brunch here one Sunday and it was so very good. I got the Uncle Jesse skillet. Dukes of Hazzard or Full House Uncle Jesse? Doesn't matter. Delicious. The coffee was good, too. The only thing that would make this place better is smaller (less expensive) portions so you can get a tapas-style brunch. I would definitely love a smaller skillet so I could also get one of their super-dessert-like pancake creations, too.

Kimberly U.

Yelp
The food was really good. My husband had the Naan Club and I had the grilled cheese with apple and bacon. It was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The drinks are strong, go for the purple rain. We all had the deep fried goat cheese very tasty. The service was great and the ambiance was fun, but it was dark and hard to see.

Ashley H.

Yelp
So good! The fish pasta dish is amazing although sometimes they put too much sauce in it. Fun place. Fun arcade downstairs with a bar. Overall a great place to be at

Mallory R.

Yelp
Stop reading this review and just go to Bobcat Bonnie's. We went on a Sunday morning after a night out and holy moly it really hit the spot. SpongeBob was playing in the bar area so just for that this place gets 5 stars. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles, which he said was very good. I got the smothered potatoes and added scrambled eggs. The potatoes are perfectly seasoned and whatever the sour cream sauce stuff they use is delicious. It was a large portion so I think I could've split it between two people. I also got a side of bacon and it was good too. Service was fast and friendly.

Sarah T.

Yelp
They have a lovely Sunday brunch with a Bloody Mary bar. My avocado toast was delicious. Although they were very busy they gave very kind service.the restaurant is very comfortable.

Marcie K.

Yelp
This was BB's last shot for us. We had one good meal here when they first opened, but our last four visits have been increasingly disappointing. This visit we found the section of the restaurant we were in kind of gross and not properly cleaned - bugs and bits of paper in the windows, etc. - the hot sauce condiment tips were clogged with dried sauce. It was early in the day (2pm), so it's not like it was an end of day mess. It did not inspire confidence in the cleanliness department. Worst of all, my onion rings were a gloppy mess...full of uncooked flour and gummy batter. I pointed it out to the waitress and she said, "let me get you some new ones". She then proceeded to use her BARE HANDS to take them off my plate that I was eating my burger on! When she touched the burger barehanded I stopped her and told her I would get them off the plate. She responded with, "Oh, I just washed my hands!" Um...What in the heck?! You don't put your hands in someone's plate while they are eating. Our burgers were overdone and unremarkable. The lettuce on my wife's burger was browning and her tots were also underdone. At any rate, we are tapping out on this place. We desperately miss Bona Sera and had high hopes for Bobcat Bonnie's, but there's no comparison.

Mitchell L.

Yelp
Bobcat Bonnie's has an eclectic vibe but the brunch negates any negatives. The brunch was filling and satisfying. Slightly overpriced due to the aesthetic, but the food is still yummy.

John B.

Yelp
Ordered a corn chowder soup and a salad to take out. Both were very tasty. Although I didn't eat at the restaurant, it looked very inviting. Hopefully I'll get a chance another time.

Marty F.

Yelp
The food here used to be consistently pretty good but the last two times it was different, being mediocre at best.

Darrell K.

Yelp
This place was under different management last time I was here. Bobcat was recommended by my friend. I went in to check to verify that they were open. We then parked and went inside. We were seated pretty quickly. The host was friendly and told us that our waitress would be over to take our order. She took our drink order to get us started. The menu was scanned via my phone as it seems most places do these days due to covid. This may stick due to the convenience. I ordered the breakfast sandwich after trying to decide what I wanted. It came with potatoes and the sandwich had egg, bacon, cheese and lettuce. It was pretty good but I got filled up quickly. I tasted my friends hash brown item and it also was pretty tasty. The potatoes were cooked well, Small little potatoes with a good taste. Small little pieces but good. I also had the Dirty martini. Good but not dirty enough. I do think I prefer it this way versus too dirty. Overall it was good. At least they had the blue cheese olives. Call me crazy but I prefer not to get a dirty if they have no blue cheese olives. The waitress was friendly and great. The atmosphere was cool. I will visit again in the near future.

Liza G.

Yelp
Great service, amazing food. As a local business owner i appreciate having a beautiful place to eat.

Mandy J.

Yelp
Their chicken and waffles are Best brunch in ypsi! Sometimes there's a wait but it's never longer than 15 minutes plus there's always spots to dine at the bar.

Julie S.

Yelp
Mid-week noon lunch with my daughter. She is vegetarian and find MOST menus lacking in choices and vision. Not here! Waitress was great to come back a couple times because she couldn't decide . Food excellent- service excellent - ambiance cool and smooth at midday

Gil E.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant. This is our second time here and having Mia as a server. MIA IS PHENOMENAL!! Her spirit and energy are a wonderful experience. The food is perfectly prepaired. We had the lamb meatballs and spinache artichoke dip to start. Well worth the hour drive from Toledo. They opened another lication downtown Toledo taht we haven't tried, yet.

Shelby H.

Yelp
Aeil provided great service and was attentive. Chicken Avocado Sandwich was excellent as well as the fries. We wanted to try one of the seasonal desserts but were too full but they were able to box it up for us and we could warm it up at home. Will be back!

Jenna W.

Yelp
Had lunch there today and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend the Naan Club! I've never had a bad meal at any of the Bobcat Bonnie locations!!

Laura A.

Yelp
I had the best chicken avocado sandwich. Still think about it. Hubby got salmon sandwich that he really liked. Will totally be back.

Keri H.

Yelp
Food is ok, service ok, atmosphere pretty cool. Prices reasonable for the area & what you get. Worth a try but there are better places in the area in my opinion.

Kara D.

Yelp
LGBTQ+ friendly place. A good variety of choices. We were there for lunch after my daughter graduated from EMU. Will definitely return.

Daron D.

Yelp
Always past by here being that I live in Ypsilanti so I finally gave it a try. For starters I had the 24K wings, they were so so good but high in price ($15 for 8). For my meal I had the bbq burger with the fries and it was good but not great. Good service good atmosphere and good drinks (about $10-$12 a drink). Overall a 3.5 star place in actuality.

S L.

Yelp
Very rude staff. Tried to make a reservation for outdoor seating. Even though all tables were open all answers to our questions and options requested was no. On top of that there were multiple people outside begging right by the entrance and seating. Lost our business for sure.

Mary S.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch after a day trip. Elliot served up a really delicious meal of 1/2 "not your average grilled cheese"sandwich & small Cobb salad as well as being the most pleasant human I've met in years! The beer was cold & the atmosphere is fun: great tunes, wonderful views of Michigan Ave life in Ypsi. We sat at a high-top in the bar at the most comfy chairs. I'll most definitely be back to sample the brunch offerings...maybe at another location to see what else is going on as I've been told each restaurant is different. Try it!

Dane S.

Yelp
Very good food, just a tad pricey but usually worth it. Service is also usually decently but the vibes in the place is what I come for.
