This is a fantastic spot for bubble tea lovers and those craving unique, chewy mochi donuts! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern vibe that makes it a perfect place to hang out with friends or enjoy a quiet treat. The bubble tea selection is truly impressive, featuring high-quality ingredients and customizable sweetness levels. Their signature drinks, like Brown Sugar Fresh Milk—my absolute favorite—are rich and full of flavor. I personally love adding grass jelly instead of boba, it’s fresh, soft, and adds the perfect texture to my drink! Now, let’s talk about the mochi doughnuts, they are a must-try! The contrast between the crispy outer layer and the soft, chewy inside is simply irresistible. Gosh, I really love them! With rotating flavors, there’s always something new to try. My favorites so far are Taro, Black Sesame, and Strawberry Shortcake, but I can’t wait to taste their new flavors every week!😆 The service is friendly and efficient, and even though this place is always buzzing with customers, the wait times are totally reasonable. Whether you’re a bubble tea enthusiast or a dessert lover, Bober Tea & Mochi Dough is an absolute gem. Highly recommended! Honestly, I feel like I just completely failed my diet because of this place… but it was so worth it! 😆 [Will keep updating the photos of new different flavors as I usually visit every week] 😆

Google
Chewy delicious doughnuts with interesting and unique flavor offerings. The fruity varieties are always pairings I never would have thought to match with a doughnut but always works great. It's fun to check out the seasonal offerings and more traditional flavors as well. Clean streamlined ordering from their wall kiosks and very friendly staff. Great special on Tuesdays. Always a treat to go back!

Google
Definitely not the place to go to if you're wanting a singular donut lol. You're obligated to get a pack of three at the minimum, so $10. My boyfriend and I were fine with it until we actually ate the donuts and they flat out just tasted old. Like they had been left out for 2+ days, only one of them tasted a little fresh and it was still disappointing. They weren't chewy, just hard bread with frosting. We laughed about how we should have just went to dunkin cause at least their donuts are fresh.

Google
Went here thinking the Boba tea is similar to the one in Eden prairie at the asia mall. Big NOPE. The % in sweetener is a lot different than the EP location which is fine, but when I asked the lady to add more sweetener she said she couldn't do it. I told her I could just open the lid and rip the plastic and she said unfortunately no there is no way to do. I was thoroughly confused at what she was saying why she couldn't do it when I was able to open it just fine. She kept saying no it won't open. Never again going to this place. The drinks lack SO much flavor. My husband got the one he always gets without any adjustments to his sugar level and he said it tasted just bad. Don't go here. Bad service as well.

Google
Everyone is super friendly and lightning quick service. The donuts are amazing. I love the consistency/texture of them. Mochi is my favorite confection so it's awesome to have it in donut form. I've read other reviews comment on the sweetness level of the drinks. There is an option to choose the sweetness level when you order. I'm not sure if that's new or if other folks missed it. I had the pandan and hazelnut at 50% sweetness and it was pretty good but I'll probably get 75% next time. I would say 50% would be like slightly watered down sweetened iced tea. I think it's great that they have an option for customers to choose the sweetness level. I also love that they have rotating flavors for the donuts. I'm glad I don't live too close or I'd be going here all the time!

Such a treat for the eyes as well as my tummy. Come get out of today’s attic wind! It is warm and beautiful inside. The smells… hummus FREE. The selection… you tell me. Enjoy; I sure am!

Google
This place is so cute. I love the ambience. We got taro, matcha, and strawberry mochi donuts and they were delicious and so soft - even after a few hours of ordering! We really wanted to try the boba plush surprise, but couldn’t justify $10 on it. Next time I will try their boba, but I would continue to order the donuts.

Google
my husband and i went here last night and got two drinks and a six pack assortment of the mochi donuts! the entire place is super cute! my husband got a mango drink and i got an iced coffee, both were good… but the mochi donuts were amazing. we brought some home and my entire family loved them! the toffee ones are SO SO good! definitely would come back and recommend to try it out, i’m sure you’ll love it too and want to come back!

Yelp
My friend and I were in the area and wanted donuts. It was kismet that this utterly charming place was so close. We ordered a three-pack and shared a black sesame, churro, and powdered. They were easy to split and oh so delicious: slightly crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside. They weren't too sweet--just sweet enough. You order everything from a touch-screen on the wall, then make your flavor selections when it's your turn. There was only one person at the counter when we came in, so it was a bit slow, but the service was cheerful and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend!

Yelp
Some of my plans on my first day being back in the Twin Cities had to change due to a flight delay. What didn't change was dropping by Momo Korean Egg Drop's grand opening, which is in the same store with Bober Tea and Mochi Dough. Yes, you get three businesses under one roof. It works. Parking in Dinkytown (it's the college town for the University of Minnesota) can be tricky in Fall 2024. There's construction in this area. Students are back. I came on a Saturday afternoon where the temperature was 30°C on September 28th. I did paid street parking a block away and walked over. I normally don't do grand openings. I had nothing better to do but to check it out... haha! The grand opening consisted of buying a sandwich and getting a Bober tea drink for free. It sounded great to me. It was crowded. Kids could get their face painted for free. I missed out on the dragon dance. The idea is that you go to one of the two kiosks and place your order. You pay and enter your name. Then, you wait patiently for someone to announce your name and fetch your order. The lineup wasn't too bad. I got the Seoul Spam sandwich. I then waited to hear my name. I looked at the mochi donuts. They looked yummy and fresh. I wasn't feeling it, though. I wanted an egg sandwich. I probably waited fifteen minutes before I heard my name. I was delighted to move up to the counter and fetch my egg sandwich. I got to choose my bubble tea. The size is smaller than a regular, but I'll take free any day. I asked about a pink tea in front of me. The nice man said that it was pink green tea at 25% sugar. I went for it and thanked the man. There weren't too many spots inside to chow down. There was bar seating by the window, but no seats were available. My original thought was to head back to my rental vehicle and eat in there. However, there was a free table in a makeshift patio area in front of this store. I went for it. The Seoul Spam sandwich was perfect. It had Spam, nori, Momo signature sauce, soft scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese. It was dreamy and likely my go-to sandwich. I love Spam. It was pan-fried. I wish each slice were thicker, but that's the Spam fanatic in me that wants more. The roasted nori made this sandwich special. I love soft scrambled eggs. They were excellent. This sandwich does get messy to eat. Some of the egg landed on my shorts. Guess who had to do laundry back at the hotel? It was worth it. The cheese and sauce worked nicely with all the fillings. The toasted milk bread was delicious. Cheers to carbs! The packaging for this sandwich was cute and practical. It was easy to carry out to the patio. It was easy to take out my sandwich. Good job on its design! My pink green tea was refreshing and yummy. It was my first time having a Bober drink. So good! I'm glad that I went with the lower sugar content out of all the drinks that I could choose from. It was a bit tough poking the shorter straw through both the plastic lid and the seal. I got it done for the love of bubble tea. I'd return for more sandwiches, along with getting bubble tea and mochi donuts. I saw the gwangju bacon sandwich. I'm all for thick-cut bacon with soft scrambled eggs. Momo Korean Egg Drop is a great addition to Bober Tea and Mochi Dough, and Dinkytown. I'm glad that I stopped by on opening day for deliciousness. I can't wait to return! (393)

Yelp
Mochi Nut has a great variety of flavors that are so unique! I really enjoy the texture of the mochi donuts. My favorite is the black sesame and matcha, i don't usually like sweets but this is not overly sweet which i adore. Service was quick and fast, and the place is so lovely Bober Tea was delicious, I've never seen so many choices of boba drinks before! I love the concept of each one and the drinks were great in flavor and not watered down at all

Yelp
Love coming here, it's one of my go to spots in Dinkytown. I've been following them since they were first building the restaurant and they haven't disappointed me yet. I was so happy to see mochi donuts come to Minnesota after seeing them on Instagram all the time. Love all of the unique flavored donuts, my personal favorites are the chocolate, apple, pandan, and taro, but flavors change weekly and all are very good. I've had a lot of boba in my lifetime (in and out of state travel, and even as a job) and Bober has my absolute favorite Classic Milk Tea, I cannot get it from anywhere else. Try the cheese coins too! Staff is always friendly and smiley. On the weekend, it tends to get a little busier, but it's been fairly calm now that they've been open for a while.

Yelp
Momo Korean Egg is combined inside. I've also had their boba & mochi donut, but this time I got a the spicy pork sandwich and a matcha boba. The sandwich was pretty good and much bigger than I had expected. The bread was nice and soft and the meat was a bit salty, but overall quite good. The boba was okay, it's good but not mind blowing- more mid. Cute space and insta worthy. The staff were all kind and I did go during a busy time so it took awhile for my order to come. Parking is always a challenge, but not that there's a ton of construction in Dinky right now so it may be even more challenging to find parking.

Yelp
The donuts were delicious and fresh! Only complaint was the matcha was not strong and the flavor didn't come through. The lemon was amazing! Milk tea was ok! But the matcha tea was delicious! Only concern again the matcha wasn't super strong.

Yelp
What an adorable boba spot, in the perfect location for the UMN campus! The ambiance in here can't be beat. It is truly decorated like a pink and purple dream - I can totally see the photo op potential. Only downside was there's not a ton of seating for groups over 2 people. It's super easy to order on the touch screen system, and they're quick to get your order out on the counter. My friends and I shared 6 mochi donuts and I tried a sip of a friend's Ube tea. The Ube milk tea was incredible, it truly tasted like melted vanilla bean ice cream. I would definitely have just gotten this drink as dessert! I was most excited to try mochi donuts, and these were delicious. They have so many fun and different flavors that rotate. Compared to a traditional donut, these are more chewy and gummy which I love the texture of. I would replace my Dunkin donut with these any day! Our group's favorite flavor was the salted caramel.

Yelp
Made my first visit to Bober Tea & Mochi Dough and was pleasantly surprised. The mochi donuts here are better than at another local establishment and tasted closer to what I remember from when I first had a mochi donut in New York City. The staff was friendly and cheerful and helped me with a recommendation for one of my donuts. Great place to meet people as the place is bright, airy and beautifully decorated. I will visit again to see what the selection of donuts might be and try new ones. In the accompanying photo the donuts are left to right: Churro (cinnamon sugar covered), Cookies & Cream, and Mango donut. All were enjoyable and as you can tell, I sampled them before I even got home.

Yelp
Can never go wrong with their mochi donuts and boba here! I really liked their winter melon milk tea but wish I could adjust the sugar to be less sweet, I think the default is to have it at least 50%. This shop is located inside the Asia mall and is always so busy, especially on the weekends! They sorta share the same space as pho mai so there isn't much room to sit unless you ate at pho mai or somewhere else in the mall.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the ambience with the pink and instagrammable walls! Also the smell of the donuts are absolutely delicious! You order and pay on the wall of how many donuts you want and if you want any tea. Then they call you up to pick the flavors you want! We got the dozen for our family of 5. They had flavors of tarp, banana silk, watermelon, churro, vanilla and that's all I can remember. The thing I love about Mochi donuts is that they feel lighter than regular donuts while the flavors are delicious! Highly recommend especially on Tuesdays for $1 donuts!
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
This place is amazing! There's always a bit of a line and for good reason, but it moves along fairly quickly. Self order at touch screen and they call your name out. Great rotating selection of melt-in-your-mouth, always soft, mochi dough donuts with some staples like the taro and black sesame -- you can't go wrong, but those two and the strawberry are my personal faves. I also love the Thai tea and stir fried boba!
google avatar

Ingi E.

Yelp
Super cute place with rotating mochi donut flavors and a ton of boba drink options! Both drinks pictured have a cream cheese topping "chizu". I loved both the matcha and the pineapple with pink boba! Easy to order on the screen and the person who helped me decide on donut flavors (which you do after ordering on the screen) was super nice!
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
This is such a cute boba spot!! The decor is picture perfect, and the taro boba was delicious. The mochi donuts were yummy too, and perfect for sharing. Ordering was quick using the touchscreens and everything came out quickly.
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
They have a variety of drink choices and usually have 5 or more donut choices that change weekly. The employees there are very friendly and the service is good. It is nicely decorated inside and has a good amount of seating.
google avatar

Lily C.

Yelp
The Signature Milk Tea with boba is ok. I wish they offered more boba tea flavor options like taro and allowed customer to adjust the sweetest and ice. It was easy to find street parking. Service felt slower than other boba tea shops I visit in Minneapolis. The shop is a great place to work or near up with friends.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. What is there NOT to love with fried mochi donuts? If you're a donut lover you're sure to fall in love. We saved some to bring home (I know that was like impossible...) and everyone who tried them in our family instantly fell in love. My sister-in-law said it was "dangerous" now that she knows where to get them. The vibe of the place is straight out of a mix of St. James Place in NYC or the Brooklyn Chinatown. It's super hip, fun, and full of flowers? Yes there's literally a wall of roses. Bear in mind that there will always be a line to order as this place is bomb! You order from the kiosk and go pick up your goodies. We got the box of donuts with crazy fun flavors like Matcha, Taro, Churro, Funnel Cake, and Black Sesame. Next time we'll be sure to try Bober Tea! It is Dinkytown, so parking is always ridiculous. But try parking at St. James Place NYC! This ain't so bad. But Mochi Donuts! Ooooo.....
google avatar

Inaje P.

Yelp
Came here after having dinner at Lepot for a sweet treat with friends and first of all the look of this place is Instagram friendly! They have flower walls for you to take fun cute photos next to. Now to the drinks and Mochi doughnuts, so good and just the right amount of sweetness and for $2.50 more you can get your drink in a Bear container. The staff was so nice and friendly and were so helpful when we had a hard time knowing how to order. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors!
google avatar

Erin V.

Yelp
Never have i ever met a donut i didnt like... We have made the visit and trip more times then i can count to eat these!!! And never will i ever say no to going!
google avatar

Tyra L.

Yelp
The donuts are soooo good. That chewy mochi texture is so amazing as a donut. If all donuts were like this I wouldn't mind. The different flavors were also so fun and delicious. They are easy to share and fun to eat since the ball shapes can kind of be pulled apart. I also liked the bubble tea I tried and would love to come back and try more. Next time I might not drink it with the donuts though because I was a bit overloaded with sugar.
google avatar

Nandini A.

Yelp
Bober Tea and Mochi Dough is such a cute spot in Dinky for a sweet treet! It's super easy to order using the kiosk, and I like that you can get a doughnut + boba combo. I also LOVED the decor; they make this place really stand out in Dinkytown. The flavors are fun- I loved the matcha doughnut. The doughnuts were a little oily but delicious. I kept finding myself going back for another bite.
google avatar

YiQing G.

Yelp
Went to the Asia Mall location and the shop is so cute and the mochi looks very yummy. We bought 2 boba tea that are matcha and pink pear flavors. Both are soooooo yum. The mochi doughnut is also adorable looking and we bought a pack of six. Can't wait to try each and every one of them.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
I love coming back here because it's one of the only places in Minneapolis that serves mochi donuts and bubble tea in the same spot! They make it easy to order with one of those huge kiosks, and then will call your name. One of the downsides is the smallest amount of mochi donuts you can order is three, unless you add one to a drink. They also usually limit one of the flavors two boxes of six, which seems weird. The tea is delicious though, and I will continue to be a return customer.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
The mochi donuts really are that good! They're so cute, like a ring of mini donuts glazed in pretty colors. The texture was much lighter and fluffier than I expected, and still warm. It's crisp on the outside, just a bit chewy on the inside; a perfect contrast. The stir fried boba sounds...kind of unappetizing...but they're just regular boba in caramelized sugar displayed in a wok. They give you a generous scoop in your tea. It's good. It's a little confusing how to order. Stand in line at the kiosks. When it's your turn, pick quickly or else the people behind you will start grumbling. The first time I went, after selecting my boba tea, it offered to add on a mochi donut on for $1. But the second time, it was $3.50 to add the donut. If you try to order online before going, it doesn't give you the same options as the kiosk.
google avatar

Brooke K.

Yelp
These donuts have popped up on my newsfeed for a little while now so I was so excited to go to the Dinkytown location & finally check them out The vibe inside is such a fun, pink and Instagrammable as it gets with tons of photo opportunities! They also have boba tea and boba champagne!! What is Mochi Dough? "Uniquely bouncy. Completely Amazing." The Japanese inspired donuts use rice flour instead of traditional yeast to create a uniquely airy and chewy inside with a perfectly crisp outside. Made fresh everyday with lots of flavor options that you order from a kiosk and they call your number when ready!
google avatar

Yelp
After hearing how good Mochi Doughnuts are from my friends over the last few years, I finally had the chance to try some for my own and I was really missing out! If you've never had mochi doughnuts before, they are similar to traditional doughnuts but a little lighter, slightly less sweet dough (but still sweet), and a bit firmer texture. They are perfect for sharing as you can rip the spherical pieces apart quite cleanly. The inside of this place was so cute with a beautifully decorated interior perfect for every social media shot you could possibly want. It feels like you stepped into somewhere in SF or NYC. You order and pay at a little kiosk and then you are helped by one of the very friendly and kind workers behind the counter. At this stage, you get to choose which flavors you want which was a bit confusing when we were ordering because we thought we would choose before paying. We decided to split a box of 6 and fry all the flavors they had. We ended up with 1 of each of: birthday cake, churro, peanut butter chocolate popcorn, matcha, black sesame, funnel. They were all delicious, but I think matcha was the best, and I think that churro missed the mark. My only main complaint is that the flavoring all appears to only be in the topping. This means that for some of the less strong flavors, the doughnuts tasted identical to me. This was awesome to try, highly recommend a mochi doughnut if you've never had before!
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
There's both lots to like and dislike at this mini chain. Love the doughnuts themselves which have a great airy texture and shape perfect for sharing. The toppings though are heavy on sweetness and some of the flavors are very artificial (think banana laffy taffy. I also don't like their excessive packaging. Great for instagram, not great for the environment. At $3 per donut also on the high end price wise despite not being vary large.

Yelp
OVERALL: I'm already a regular here and it just opened. It's THAT good. DRINKS: The first time I went I got the brown sugar cookies and crème milk tea with their stir fried boba. It was a dessert in itself and that's how I like my boba! The second time I got the Vietnamese iced coffee with boba and it was a great morning treat. There's only one size of drink which is a pretty big portion so I was able to save some for later in the day. The stir fried boba makes a huge difference. It's nice and caramelized! MOCHI DONUTS: Holy. Holy. Holy. The texture of these donuts are absolutely amazing and they're both fluffy but you also get a crunch when you bite into it. The best way I can describe it is like fluffy donut holes all put together. I have loved each of the flavors. My personal favorite is the strawberry shortcake, and a close second is the fruity pebbles. For my aunt who likes things on the less sweet side, she loved the taro and black sesame donut. I'm excited to try their new flavors! They switch it up every 2 weeks. ATMOSPHERE: Helllllloooooo instagrammable spot! The wings, pink floral wall and neon sign, and a cute hot air balloon? If you go back to the bathroom you can also see their cute pay phone wall too. They did everything right when it came to aesthetics so don't be surprised if you see friends posting with similar backgrounds! SERVICE: After you place your order, it goes pretty fast. All of the employees are so nice!

Yelp
Went during the grand opening, it was a long wait but i think i would rather come back for the mochi then the drinks. I honestly thought that it would have been better, maybe because of grand opening. Let start off with the drinks: Taro drink: it didnt taste like taro milk, it taste just like a milk with flavor. It doesnt have a strong taste of taro. Grapefruit green tea and strawberry green tea was ok. The grapefruit is more on the bitter side , it is not sweet. The strawberry doesnt taste sweet at all, it does have a lot of the strawberry in it. The most disappointing i would say is the matcha drink. I was so disappointed. It didnt have any matcha flavor, it just taste like milk with a flavor. As for the mochi donut, i would recommend getting them again. They're so yummy and delicious!

Yelp
Bober Tea & Mochi Dough has the best mochi donuts around!! Mochi donuts are a hybrid between American doughnuts and Japanese mochi. The texture is bouncy, slightly chewy with an airy texture in the center and a crisp outer shell. Which is just amazing! I love experiencing different textures when it comes to food!! My favorite flavored mochi donuts are the taro and black sesame. The drinks! Where do I start? The offer so many choices: Brown sugar drinks (coated in housemade brown sugar syrup) Chizu (topped with cheese cream) Fresh fruit teas (premium jasmine green tea with fresh fruit) Milk teas (dairy free) Vietnamese iced coffee (dairy based) Lattes (made with real dairy) Teas (my favorite is the Honey Jasmine Green Tea) I can't wait to see what flavors they have to offer next time I'm in! They are open everyday from 12pm to 9pm.

Yelp
Calling all donut fans!!! This spot in Dinkytown Minneapolis is one you will not want to miss. Not only do they have Boba tea, but they also have mochi donuts. At first I didn't know what it meant but essentially it makes the donuts fairy chewy and soft on the inside. This location has plenty of indoor seating and photo opportunities. Do you donut flavors are released every week! A box of three will run you about $10. These donuts are the perfect shareable food. You get to choose the three flavors that you would like included in your box. When you first walk in you will order on a kiosk and when a team member is available, they will have you pick your donuts. Staff was very friendly and willing to share about the business! Parking can be a little tough given. It is in Dinkytown (street parking only). Recommend giving this cute spot a try!

Yelp
First time here! I love mochi donuts so I was excited to give it a try here at Bober tea. Parking was average for the area. It's located in dinkytown and it was easy to find somewhere to park about a block away. The shop itself is SO CUTE! It's full of cute photo ops, so many flowers!! It really wasn't too busy for summer, which was nice! There's lots of seating options or you can take it to go. The ordering process is so easy- you order on the large touch screens, then they will call your name at the counter for you to pick out your choices. Service was super fast and they were pretty nice! They had a few options to pick from which was great. I got the banana milk (my fav), taro, and cotton candy stars. If you've never had a mochi donut, you are in for a treat!! The texture is phenomenal and it's so fun to try different flavors! The flavors are in the frosting. If you're in the mood for a donut- definitely give this place a try!! It's so cute inside, there are lots of great options for donut flavors, and service was great. Just be mindful that a 3 pack was about $9. But- they do have $1 donuts all day on Tuesday's!!

Yelp
Pretty sure they had opened a week or so before my visit, the space is beautiful and perfect for those wanting to get an insta pic! I would have to say the best thing about my visit was the atmosphere. We went on a. Thursday around 5pm and there weren't a lot of people there. However; by the time 5:30 came around the line was out the door. Ordering is a little complex because you dot. Actually get to choose your donuts on the kiosk. I also felt like I missed several parts of customizing on my drink including adding tapioca balls. The drink was a brown sugar boba and it wasn't great. That could be on me as I did 1/2 the sugar but it tasted so bitter and I wonder if it was 1/4 instead. The donuts were okay but my last fresh as I'm used to at other locations. The topping had harden but they still tasted good. I don't think this would be the first mochi donut shop I would recommend but I'm not opposed to returning and trying another drink... maybe even coming earlier to get fresher donuts.

Yelp
Came here during opening weekend and had to wait in line for probably 1 hour in total towards the end of the night. I was surprised the Line was still that long but it is opening weekend. They have 2 kiosk to order inside the store when is nice and maybe saves time while employees are making the drinks. I was UPSET with their false advertisement on the bogo free drink opening weekend. It says bogo free or equal or lesser drink which makes me assume second drink of lesser price is free. However, it wasn't any drink for free but it was 2 specific one (taro and winter melon (I think?). There was no sign or anything so literally had to go to the cashier to ask. I waited 1 hour in line specifically for the bogo free deal but it was not worth it. Could have came any other day since there was no deal on the donuts either. Mochi- we got the 1/2 dozen combo. Sucks because they didn't have a lot of flavor left being that it was 1-2 hours from closing. The donuts aren't as good as the other places I've been too. Didn't have the mochi texture. A little too soft in my opinion. Make sure you eat it right away otherwise if you save it until the next day it is not good at all. 2.5/5 Boba- got the signature milk tea and tasted like typical brown sugar milk tea that is sweet enough. Nothing special. 4/5 - taro (free): bland and taro was super powdery. Not good, not recommended 1/5. - winter melon (free): a little sweeter than the free taro drink which made it not bad 3/5. Friends ordered 2 fruit teas and according to them BLAND! Could not taste the teas and literally had to add 2-3 bags of tea at home to make it drinkable. (P.s. these friends have tried the Cali location and said it was much better) maybe they rain out of tea? But if that's the case then cancel the order not try to make money. I would like to praise all the employees working opening for weekend but it was stressful just seeing how many people was in line. It sure brought in great profits but everyone looked like they want to go home right away. Keep up the good work. Not sure if I'll be coming back. Not sure what specialty they have to make me want to come back.

Yelp
Mochi dough is an absolute MUST!!! If you love sweets, this is the place for you!! Donuts are so creative and change every single week. Fast and friendly service, and such a cute space. Insanely instagrammable and fun! Boba tea is also some of the best I've ever tried as a self identified boba tea connoisseur! Flavor is so sweet and perfect!

Yelp
Stoped here after going next door to Cruncheese (also amazing!) First, parking down here is not easy. This is on the college campus area and is busy. With that being said, these doughnuts are WELL worth it! You walk in and will notice right away all the super cute decor! Very fun! There is no in person ordering, you walk up to a kiosk and order (it's very user friendly!) Then you can walk to your left to the display case and tell then which doughnuts you want. These were seriously soooo good! The texture is light, crisp, airy. The best way I can describe it is a mix between an American doughnut and a funnel cake. My kids thought the shape was fun and really enjoyed eating them! I also got a brown sugar milk tea and strawberry green tea smoothie. Neither was very sweet and I honestly didn't enjoy either. I have tried several bubble tea places, and this was just not it. They are also more expensive then some of the other teas in the area that just taste better. I almost took a star away but the doughnuts are just that amazing, it made up for the bad drinks. I didn't care for them and neither did my kids. Overall I would absolutely come back here for the doughnuts and steer clear of the drinks!! They are unique and fun!

Yelp
Their donut tastes so good!! It might be little sweet so I always get sesame which doesn't makes it "too" sweet. But so far I love all of the flavors!

Yelp
I recently visited Minnesota to celebrate a new life milestone achievement. While at the Asian Market, I came across Bober Tea & Mochi Doughnut. Even on weekday, they were busy with a small line of 3-4 patrons before me. Here, you order both the mochi doughnuts and bubble tea at one of the two kiosk stands then wait for your order to be ready. What caught my eye was the mochi doughnuts, and I am so glad to have bought some! There were several flavors to choose from including strawberry shortcake, churro, choco coconut, taro, vanilla wafer, coffee wafer, lucky charms and more! I ended up ordering the vanilla wafer, taro and choco coconut.   Mochi Doughnuts (vanilla wafer, taro, choco coconut): -The doughnuts were all extremely delicious with their various flavored glaze on top. What I enjoyed the most was the chewy consistency of the mochi doughnuts that I have grown accustomed to. -The vanilla wafer doughnut had a vanilla glaze on the top half with a single vanilla wafer. The wafer cookie was crisp. -The taro doughnut had a taro glaze that tasted exceptionally similar to other taro-flavored desserts I've had. -The choco coconut had a glaze with large coconut flakes and chocolate drizzled on top Pink Haze (not pictured) -Vietnamese iced coffee and hazelnut with "pink salted cream" -Overwhelmingly disappointed with the Pink Haze. I didn't take a photo of this drink. The kiosk makes the Pink Haze appear attractive with the pink salted cream; however, my order only had the Vietnamese iced coffee with two coffee bean candy. The Pink Haze tasted okay for a Vietnamese iced coffee, but I ordered this primarily for the appearance and disappointed to have spent $7.00 for this falsely advertised drink. Overall, I enjoyed eating the Mochi Doughnuts from Bober Tea & Mochi Doughnuts. Their selection of mochi doughnuts was great. The bubble tea (that was falsely advertised tasted average but was more expensive than usual. I'd get their mocha again but definitely not go for their specialty bubble tea drinks.

Yelp
Boba hits every time I go get one from there. The mochi donuts are cute and delicious as well.

Yelp
I went to Bober Tea and Mochi on a Saturday afternoon with 2 friends. The indoor is decorated really nice. They have a wall of flowers, wings on a wall, and a cute hot balloon seat. It wasn't overly busy which was surprising given all the hype surrounding this new place. We waited in line for about a minute and then ordered at a big screen. I was hoping to try one donut but you can not order just one donut. If you want to try donuts you need to order them in a pack of 6 or 12 OR you can order a donut when you are purchasing a boba drink as well. Luckily my friend ordered a boba drink so I attached my donut to her order. The boba looked beautiful. There was lots of fresh mangos we could see being used for these drinks and you could definitely taste how fresh the boba was. It was in a super cute animal cup as well. My donut was very unique. I chose the Cookie Monster donut and it was the lightest and most airy donut I've ever had. My donut reminded me a bit of marshmallows with how light it was. It was perfectly coated in the right amount of glaze and was a fun treat on this particular Saturday.

Yelp
Visited here a couple months ago and it was really packed - just a testament to how popular this new boba spot has become. I ordered a 6 pack of mochi donuts and a brown sugar boba tea. I appreciated how easy and convenient ordering was. You take turns ordering at a large touch pad screen and then pick up the order at the pick up counter. It made the line move quickly and was very efficient. The main reason I'm docking a star is because the boba I ordered actually didn't have any "boba" in it. I didn't notice any apparent signs on the menu stating that boba wasn't included and was an additional charge - I may not have looked hard enough. However, I felt pressured to order quick since there was a long line behind me and didn't spend too much time glancing at the menu. Despite that, for a $6+ boba drink, I was expecting the tapioca balls to be included. Another thing I wasn't a huge fan of was that the drink I ordered was diluted with a ton of ice. The flavor was good, but there wasn't a whole lot of tea. The donuts were spectacular, however. My favorite was the matcha and the black sesame. Very chewy on the inside and each flavor is super unique! Just keep in mind to order the tapioca balls separately if you want the "bubbles" in your bubble tea!

Yelp
Mochi donuts was delicious. Size kind of small for the price but was a good experience to have tried it. Limited flavors, could have more of a varieties. They only limit one toffee per box which that is my favorite flavor. The mochi texture was soft and chewy.

Yelp
Decided to check out both of the mochi donut places in town one day. The space is very pretty and obviously set up to be photographed and posted. The order kiosks were set up for speed and efficiency, but it would be nice to be able to ask questions to staff, or see the donuts before you order. Ordered 3 different flavors of donuts and a drink. The donuts were pretty and soft, but I would have liked a little more chew since it's mochi, after all. The drink was ok, but mostly just sweet - the fruit and tea flavors didn't really come through. Compared to the Dragon Star's mochi donuts, these are much more instagrammable and have more fun flavors, but the other place makes them fresh to order. If you're going to eat them on the spot, Dragon Star's are better. If you're taking them somewhere, Mochi Dough's hold up better and stay prettier. And they have much longer hours.

Yelp
Love this place! Got to try it when we were in town a couple months ago. The mochi donuts are so soft and perfect! They have a great selection to choose from! The shop is super aesthetic and has so many photo opportunities! If you're a pink lover like I am you'll definitely fall in love with their interior! Parking is street parking so make sure to plan ahead!

Yelp
This place is adorable! I stopped in on Saturday afternoon. The line wasn't long. We parked in a parking garage nearby. There was plenty of parking- but that's probably because it's summer. Inside, orders are taken at a kiosk. I selected half a dozen. After paying I waited for my name to be called. Then I get to pick my 6 mochi donuts. The donuts were great! I tried every one lol. A few flavors were the usual donut flavor - like powdered sugar. I like when there's more unique flavors. Overall it was great service. The donuts look amazing! They taste good too.

Yelp
I'm so happy that there's more mochi donut places popping up in the Twin Cities. I'm comparison to Mochi Donuts at Dragon Star Foods, I feel like they're more adventurous here with the flavors. However, they're not as fresh. I do want to say that they're just as delicious and worth the trip. I love their boba tea, and think the teas are on the more decadent and sweet side. The boba tea sizes are huge and I wish I went with a smaller size tea. Love the stir fry boba pearls. These have been cooked with sugar. So yummy!

Yelp
I love mochi and donuts so to have them combined is a winning combination! I have tried Soga Mochi Donuts and now Mochi Dough's donuts. They're both very good. I felt that Mochi Dough's were more dense but larger than Soga's. Maybe they seemed more dense because you're getting them out of the donut case already cooled off versus Soga's donuts fresh made to order?? Regardless, they were good and I'd definitely visit them again if I were in the are. Their boba tea would have been great but it was way to sweet and I got 50% sweetness but it tasted like 100% sweetness. So next time I will lower the percentage of sweetness even more.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try this place out. They have two kiosks so you can place your order-- I really liked that! Once your order is placed, you can pick up your donuts and drinks at the counter. It's a really cute cafe with a variety of boba tea drinks and mochi donuts! I ordered Chizu Mango Green Tea, wasn't a big fan, but I'll go back to try other drinks. It's located in dinkytown, super busy and off street parking only! If you haven't checked them out, give them a try!

Yelp
Such an aesthetically pleasing place! The mochi donuts were delicious and my Pandan flavor boba was so good! I've never had Pandan flavor before, so it was a must try for me! I'm from out of state and found this place because of TikTok!

Yelp
This place is so cool. I decided to go here today because I kept seeing others coming out of here with cool pink boxes. I saw in the window as I walked by many times that they have such cool decor as well. The ladies who were working today were awesome and helpful as I have never been here before and even recommended the purple donut (which I forgot the name of) and I picked the other two. One was strawberry and the other birthday cake. The presentation of the store, the staff, and the food was great. It was clean and felt like they actually enjoy their atmosphere they work at! Such good sweets and treats here! They have many teas which I got one but forgot to take a picture. It was good! I will be returning with my friends and family!
