Bob's Bakery

We had a great experience! They accommodated our last-minute date change for a custom cake without any fuss. The cake itself was beautiful, decorated with the freshest flowers and finished with a delicious cream cheese frosting. We’d recommend them — two thumbs up!

💰 Price / Value for Money – Average Nothing too extraordinary, but decent bakery items. Tip – It's good for a quick stop in the morning, but options dwindle later in the day. 🚫 Would I Recommend? No - The almond croissant was filled generously, but it wasn't exceptional. - The raspberry Danish had a sweet and airy dough, but overall, options were limited. - A few hours before closing, the selection was almost empty. 🌍 Our Background – Adult tourists, first time in Australia.

As far as bakery's go, Bob's is average. The prices are island prices. Bought a plain meat pie and the filling was ick. Not a flaky pastry sort of pie. The pastries are nice. Will give them that.

Great selection of sandwiches. L I had the vegan gourmet sandwich which was so fresh and delicious. The pie and sausage roll were good. The caramel slice was divine.

Absolutely atrocious sausage rolls, Pies are alright could be better, chicken sandwich’s are a bit weird not sure if the chicken is real? Lovely staff though, they always greet you with a smile!

An Australian style bakery that will not surprise you too much. Of course, prices reflect the island setting (roughly 20% more than the mainland equivalent), but the quality is mostly consistent and delivers what you'd expect. Surprisingly, the coffee made here is great, and they won't keep you waiting too long even when the line up spills out onto the footpath.

Really nice fresh sandwiches and pastries. It’s always busy but the line moves fast.

I am just reinforcing what other reviewers are saying. The coffee is good. Very good. Life saver for me. They open between 6.30am and 2pm. The pastries are also nice. I tried the almond croissants, and they went well with my latte. The service staff are friendly.. generally, I have only met friendly and pleasant staff on the island!. Must go place if NEED coffee like me.
