Willie Brown Spurns Favorite Steakhouse After Girlfriend’s 1-Star Yelp Review - Eater SF

"In a scathing one-star Yelp review of the restaurant, Sonya Molodetskaya writes that she and a female friend arrived before the former mayor did, and as a result were treated like 'second class citizens' by a new host who didn’t recognize her without her famous counterpart." - Caleb Pershan

Google
Food was extremely salty. I had heard great things about it. I was very disappointed. My sides took an extra 10 mins to come out from our main course, and the bread was even later. It came after we had finished dinner. For a $70 steak it shouldn't be that salty. It was cooked very good, tho. Even the potatoes were salty. The lamb chops my guests ordered were good and not salty. The duck breast my other guests ordered was mid.

Our first time here, very good!! This is our 2nd favorite steak next to the Ranch. Service was a little slow, but the food was amazing. Perfectly seasoned Porterhouse steak, sides were great. Would definitely recommend.

Google
This was a very nice first time visit, our waiter was very knowledgeable and covered all the bases, even did a few recommendations that we took his advice on. We were not disappointed and had plenty of food leftover. We had a really nice time, everyone was great, and especially the food, delicious.

Had the pleasure of dining at Bob’s Steak & Chop House while staying at the Omni for a conference we’re hosting—and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk and it was absolutely phenomenal: perfectly seasoned, cooked to a tender medium-rare, and full of rich, buttery flavor. The service was outstanding from start to finish, with a knowledgeable staff that made the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting OKC—especially if you’re looking to impress clients or colleagues.

The atmosphere is fantastic. However, I was given a 7 pm reservation and my wife and I sat down at 655pm. We were greeted and met with friendly staff. After my wife and I had sat down, our waiter stated the kitchen closed at 715pm (why let us get the reservation). He stated it wasn't an issue, so we stayed and order our entire dinner. The appetizer, mid course, and drinks came out at once. Before we could finish our appetizers or salad the main course the KC STRIP was delivered (216 degrees at best after I asked for rare) the waiter then after picking up our appetizers unfinished mind you, educated me on the proper steak temp and feel of a rare steak. To say I was annoyed is an understatement I ordered rare and was served below blue rare. The sides are mediocre and I hope to attribute this to the time of closing. I hate to leave a review that's not gleaming but it was not a great experience and people deserve better for the money it cost.

Google
The steak was good. The crab cakes were too salty. The carrot was interesting. But they're strange. Not a really classy place. I ordered a white lady cocktail off menu and they brought me some giant thing in a tall glass with some kind of citrus juice in it. I didn't drink any because it was made incorrectly and tasted awful. They said they couldn't do anything about it. They took it away. Still got charged $20 for it. The food prices on the menu did not match what i was charged on my bill but by this time I was kind of done with the place. Thank god for great company. For those prices they should step it up. They come across pretty cheap.

My husband booked Bob’s for our anniversary, and everything started off great. We’ve dined at the Barton Creek location in Austin, TX, so we came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short. Our server, Jeff, was okay but seemed low-energy. I started with a wedge salad, which was fantastic, so I was hopeful for the rest of the meal. Then came the issue. I ordered a 14 oz Ribeye cooked medium-well, while my husband chose the 16 oz Ribeye medium. My steak came out medium-rare—not once, not twice, but three times. The first steak was full of fat and gristle, looking more like a discount cut from Sam’s Club than a $68 steak. It was stringy, unpleasant, and nearly impossible to cut without hitting weird tendons. I requested a replacement, which they provided, but it lacked seasoning and was poorly presented. The difference between this Oklahoma City location and the Barton Creek location was night and day in terms of taste and presentation. They barely acknowledged our anniversary, which was disappointing given the occasion. While they did offer a new side, they didn’t comp anything or attempt to make up for the poor experience. I still left a 20% tip out of courtesy, but the service and food was mediocre at best. Overall, this experience was truly disappointing, and we won’t be returning to this location.

Google
The atmosphere and ambience was wonderful. I was extremely impressed by the service. Our waiter (Daniel) was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed his first class service. The steaks are really flavorful and juicy. No complains whatsoever. I was not very impressed with the sides though. The Skillet Fried potatoes were underwhelming and small in portions and the mushrooms were very soggy and lacked flavor. The Chophouse salad was also on the dry side. The signature carrot accompaniment was very well done and really flavorful. The brownie Sundae was very nice, really liked it. Overall, was very impressed with their steaks and service. Will go back but their sides need some improvement - reason for my 4 star on food. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Gotta say the bread in this place is crazy. 5 stars for sure. I ordered the NY Strip medium well with a little pink and that thang came back cooked all the way through. Had to send it back and somewhat ruined my experience, as the second steak was just okay, even though it was a little better. They took great care of me and the team, the staff was wonderful, the service was great, and the hostess Monica was very helpful with accommodating us. I would definitely return, but they better get that steak right.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time at Bobs. Dim lit dining area and bar when you walk in. Very upscale. Once seated we were quickly brought delicious house bread. Our drinks were tasty, strong, and always came out quick. We started with the calamari which was good. The mixed green salad and the blue cheese salad were very good. All of the steaks were served with a large carrot and your choice of potato. The steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I loved the smashed potatoes. For sides we shared the brussel sprouts and mac and cheese which was topped with blue cheese - delicious. Very friendly server and helped us celebrate a birthday. Great dining experience.

Yelp
Went for a birthday dinner date night. Hosts were friendly, bar casual and accommodating, service and staff great. We were offered free dessert, which came with a signed card--nice touch. Food was not my favorite. Vinaigrette dressing lacked flavor and the cut of the filet had gristle but the cook was good and the crust on the outside was nice but very salty. Companion's ribeye was overdone and salty but not horrible. Smashed potatoes and creamed spinach were both great.

Yelp
Thank goodness we have reservations because they got full fast!! We went with another couple & the ambience was perfect. Nathan was our server & his knowledge of the menu was outstanding. Then there was the scrumptious food! Guests at our table had steak, shrimp scampi & the fish special. All was delicious & perfectly prepared. For dessert we had the bread pudding & a brandy ice, all of which were more than expected. We will return.

Yelp
I didn't take a picture of our filet, but it was amazing. We celebrated our anniversary here. The bartenders were very accommodating and gave extra blue cheese olives for my Dirty Bob Martini. The food and service hit expectations.

Yelp
Wonderful service and they honor expectations dutifully. Enjoy your ribeye or filet, a couple glasses of Clos du Val and a big carrot. Sleep heartily. Then, exercise vigorously the next day. Among the two best restaurants in Oklahoma City.

Yelp
While in Oklahoma City searching for a upscale dinner spot I relied on Yelp. To my surprise Bob's Steak & Chop House opened in downtown OKC inside the Omni hotel. Not my first time at a Bob's S & C Location although, it's been many years. Once inside the host promptly greeted us and we were seated immediately. We started with the large Wine menu which includes several options by the bottle or glass. We also tried a handcrafted Mocktail: The Big Carrot - very refreshing and worth a try! Our dinner order included: Shrimp Cocktail: The largest shrimp I've seen in Okc! Mildly Spicy cocktail sauce arrives on the shrimp- delish! Mixed Greens salad: Champagne Vinaigrette, spicy pecans, apple and goat cheese. We split the salad (half with goat cheese half without). This salad is a new found favorite! Prime filet Mignon: 9oz's of Absolute perfection! Comes with Your choice of potato, I chose Baked and of course the famous Carrot. Maryland Style Crab Cakes: large lumps of crab full of flavor! A Sweet Potato: arrives with a large pat of sugar/cinnamon butter on the side. This location offers Great Ambiance paired with excellent service. Easy valet parking with validation. Overall a great evening.

Yelp
Located in Oklahoma City downtown, this restaurant caters the locals who live in the vicinity. For everyone else, there are better options. Not that it's bad, but if you have to drive somewhere to get a steak, I would choose elsewhere. It's a very nice steakhouse. The ribeye is a little cheaper than other high end steakhouses in Oklahoma City area. However, it's not as good. When factor in the overall value, it's average. Mine came out the way I wanted, medium rare. However, my friend's did not come out as great and had to be redone. It came out better the second time around. I feel like the seasonings are very light here. You can barely taste any seasonings but this is a personal preference so I am okay with it. Their best item from this dinner was surprisingly the dessert, some sort of bread pudding. It's divine and is a must try. Thinking about it makes my mouth waters up. Service is great; our server very attentive and nice with great recommendations even though we were seated in the bar area. Like I mentioned previously, I feel like the location benefits this restaurant greatly and the restaurant is very nice overall as most are in the downtown area.

Yelp
One of the worst dining experiences in a long time. After waiting for drinks and water for a good 20 min we got to order. Our salads came out in about 20 more minutes. We then waited for an hour before our undercook filets came out along with a lukewarm warm side of cream spinach. Our waiter Nathan was mia for most all of this time. Horrible service and terrible food. We won't be back.

Yelp
Was this the most expensive dinner of my life? Yes. Was it absolutely worth it? Yes!!! The service was spectacular. The table bread was so crusty, flakey and it paired oh so perfectly with the generous portions of butter that were brought out. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and the shrimp were so large and juicy! I had the filet mignon with a 6 oz lobster tail and the garlic mashed taters. We also got an order of the mac and cheese for the table to share! I had a lot of leftovers but I ate them up in the next few days! The restaurant had dim lighting and reminded me of a fancy cattleman's! I personally can't tell the difference between a 20$ bottle of wine and a 260$ bottle so personally I liked my Mule cocktail just as much if not more than the wine that we ordered but my family was definitely impressed with the wine which was from Chile. The wine purchaser was there, and came to our table telling us about the wines and she knew her stuff. For 5 people with an intent on going all out, the bill was about 1,400 and we tipped about 30 percent. We were having dinner to honor/celebrate my fiancées late father, and our waiter remembered that we said that 4 hours earlier at the beginning of dinner and mentioned it at the end, making the moment feel even more special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an extremely lovely dining experience and perfectly cooked food. I hope to come back at least one more time in my lifetime. I felt like I was Royalty while dining here!!

Yelp
The food tasted alright and was very overpriced for how boring and underwhelming it was. The mac and cheese had a quarter inch of boring block cheese melted over it, probably suitable for a kid with no palate.

Yelp
While slightly less impressive than our first visit, Bob's is still a welcomed addition to OKC for a luxury steak dinner experience. The carrots are sweet and cooked perfectly, the steaks marbled and beautiful, and the Velvet Martinis an absolute joy. Their tuna tartare appetizer was, while unexpected, fantastic and a little spicy. They also have great calamari that was a real crowd pleaser for our table. And only because I order it so rarely, one of the best treats of the night was my glass of moscato d'asti. The very best treat were the homemade chocolate cookies my sister made and brought to celebrate my dad's birthday!

Yelp
Food was great! The gentleman that waited on us was one of the best waiters, I can't remember his name but he was originally from Vegas. Great Ambiance!

Yelp
I usually don't like negative reviews because I believe everyone has off days or deserves a chance for redemption. However, my experience at Bob's last night was an exception. I have grown up in the restaurant industry and have been a server and bartender for almost 10 years. I have never in my entire life been treated the way I was last night. We called a little late during the week and they stated they did not have reservations left, totally our bad. However, they told us if we show up in the lounge at 4:30 we can push two tables together. We have done this before several times in the past. Two people in our party showed up about 5 minutes before the rest of us did and tried to do just that and were told that was not allowed, so they just sat at two tables until we showed up. 5 minutes later the rest of our party shows up and the manager was very quick to be aggressive with saying that if we don't sit down right now she is taking our tables away. She also stated again that we could absolutely not push the tables together. Again, we should have got there all together that is our bad but she did not have to immediately be defensive when we showed up. The rest of our meal was followed by the general manager staring and pointing at us the whole time, it was incredibly uncomfortable. Just because we did not get a reservation does not mean our money does not spend the same. We sat down at our separate tables and were just going to roll with the punches. Our service we received still is confusing to me, one of our tables (men only) got treated like kings and the other (women only) had the worst service imaginable. We truly had better service just from the food and drink runners than our actual server. Not sure his name, since he never interacted with us besides making snarky comments. When the guys table ordered table bread , he only got it for them not both tables. Fine, maybe there was a miscommunication. When we politely asked for bread for our table he stated "well its gonna take 5-10 minutes". When it got to our table he slammed it down and said "here". Again, the whole time he was treating the girls table like that he was giving free drinks and just chatting it up with the guys table, it was incredibly bizarre. We sat with drinks empty basically the whole night, anytime we would ask for water refills he wouldn't get them. Other servers were filling our water and interacting with us more than him. One instance where we were all sitting with no alcoholic bev or water he looked at the girls table then proceeded to go to the guys, who had at least half full drinks, to ask if they wanted another round. We did not get asked about another round until about 5-10 minutes later. There was a lot more that when into it, but I know my review is already long. I am not sure why we were treated that way, it felt like because we were younger and girls for the most part. Maybe we got off on the wrong foot by not showing up together, not sure. Whatever the reason was no excuse for how we were treated that evening. I will be very adamant about sharing my story and telling others about my experience. The food and drinks were good but did not make up for the rest.

Yelp
Went here recently for a dinner and had amazing food and service. The only downside was that the computer system was down and they could only accept cash at the time.

Yelp
It took everything in my power not to go to the ranch like we always do for a nice date night out. We ventured here one Saturday evening and I'm so happy we did! The ambiance food and service is lovely! We did have reservations which i highly recommend you get if you want to be seated at a decent time! We had Terri as a server and she was spectacular and on top of everything! We started out with salads for appetizers. My Caesar salad was so fresh and light. It wasn't drenched with dressing and the croutons were massive! Their bread was okay i thought it would have been a loaf like all the photos showed but it wasn't. We were served 2 single rolls they reminded me of sister shuberts frozen kind you get at the grocery store nothing amazing here with their bread. We ordered the 16 Oz filet and split it and it was more than enough. I don't know how someone can eat this big of a portion for themselves especially because it comes with your own choice of potato option. We opted for the baked potato. The filet itself was spectacular the flavor was tremendous and so tender. We did get the side option of Mac and cheese it was pretty good definitely not the best I've ever had but great. Carrot cake for dessert was scrumptious. Even my husband enjoyed and he isn't a sweet type of person. We shared a bottle of wine and each got cocktails. Their cocktails are more on the pricey side compared to other steakhouses in the metro. Overall the best part was the steak i thought. Full of flavor and tender.

Kellie L.

Yelp
Portions seem to be less than the first time we ate there. The steak was seared to almost burnt.

Sheryl C.

Yelp
The decor was elegant without being gaudy. Masculine without feeling heavy. Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. Greeted upon arrival and as we left. My father raised cattle, so steak was my noon meal growing up. I usually eat steak and think that it's okay. Nothing earth shattering. THIS steak was the best thing be ever had. Totally worth the price. It was tender, juicy, seasoned perfectly, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My sides of spinach and mushrooms and smashed potatoes were delicious. The bread was soft and warm. The chocolate brownie and peanut butter sundae was amazing. A dessert so simple, but executed so well. This is the first time I've ever been to a prime steakhouse and said that I would absolutely return. Perfection!

Yelp
Sat at the bar. Service was excellent, food was really good, especially the Scallops sitting on top of that pork belly. Was in town for a convention and wanted a nice meal. So glad I made the choice to go there!
google avatar

William Y.

Yelp
Modern venue and decor. Great looking bar and an ample number of tables in the bar area that makes it easy to walk in without a reservation and get a table. The Long Horn painting behind is stunning! Excellent service and food quality. The dirty martini was excellent. The house Cab was also excellent.
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
My girlfriend ordered the prime filet and I ordered the wagyu filet to see what all the hype was and if it was worth nearly double the price; in short, yes it was! The prime filet was great, but the marbling in the wagyu filet made it nearly melt in your mouth. I'd recommend medium rare or medium. Rare and the marbling won't melt and will make it hard, too much over medium and you will lose all the juices. You could almost cut this steak with a fork, no A-1 needed, it's perfection just how it is... Smashed garlic potatoes were amazing as well! IDK if I've ever dined at a more fine establishment! I know I've never paid this much for a meal before but I do know I'd do it again for the right occasion! Perfect for wanting a nice dinner out or if you're staying at the Omni.
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
Great steakhouse inside the Omni. This is a upper tier/fine dining atmosphere. (Priced accordingly). Everything I had was excellent, service was excellent & it was a great experience. Worth trying for your next special evening.
google avatar

Shasta S.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Very attentive and professional. Went a couple times in a short period and it remained the same.

Yelp
EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Beautiful location and art! The host was very professional and friendly. Our server Micheal was very informative and efficient. The manager even stopped by and greeted us. The food was soooooo good!! My husband and I both got the filet and it was so tender, juicy and flavorful. We were celebrating his birthday and had an amazing dinner! 10/10 RECOMMEND!
google avatar

Tonika K.

Yelp
Top notch! My husband and I saw this place driving and made a note to come back and try it. We decided to have date night here and it did not disappoint. The valet parking was full or something at the Omni but we found street parking next to scissor tail park. We walked in a little before our 5:30 reservation time and we were promptly greeted and seated. A waiter came and brought water and bread. Our server then came and dropped off the veggies before the meal. Brined cucumbers and red bell peppers. Different but so good! Our server Jordan then came and took my drink order. I needed to substitute the grapefruit bitters but it was no problem and the drink was awesome. I ordered the 14oz rib eye with smashed potatoes and my husband ordered the tomahawk chops with smashed potatoes. My rib eye was the best one I've ever had. I enjoy steakhouses and we go to an expensive one at least 2x's a year. This was hands down the best one. It was tender but crunchy and melted in my mouth. My husband loved his chops (it said t reminded him of the flintstones) and the random carrot. The applesauce was also really good. Jordan was attentive, the ambience was nice and it was a great date night dinner. The tool used to clean up the breadcrumbs was cool and having our eating utensils switched out before the meal was an extra step that was appreciated.

Julie A.

Yelp
Service was good but the Manhattan was unpleasantly sweet and the bisque tasted like somebody spilled the salt container in to it. Neither of us could finish it. Didn't bother ordering anything else. Won't go back.
google avatar

Mina N.

Yelp
The food was really good, the steak turned out perfect, and the shrimp was big, crunchy from the out and juicy in the inside. The environment was really nice, quiet, and just perfect spot for date night, the server was really sweet, very efficient! We also had the chop house salad and it was delicious!
google avatar

Tiffany E.

Yelp
No reservation last night but we went and found a table for 4 in the bar area. As always, the food was amazing and the service may be the best in OKC. Had the steak medallions with lobster, so GOOD! Crème brûlée & carrot cake also so GOOD! It's always loud but with so many people in a restaurant, that is going to happen
google avatar

Penelope A.

Yelp
OK where do I start???.... this was probably one of the best steaks that I've had in a long time. We were able to share two plates of the New York strip with baked potato which was loaded of course and a glazed carrot. We had also ordered half salads. I ordered the chopped salad which came with a champagne vinaigrette and there was something unique in the salad so I had to ask the waiter .... come to find out it was a heart of palm! That made the difference in my salad it was just the right amount , the texture and of course the champagne vinegar dressing made the whole thing come together! Now let's rewind and I'll take you back to the bread that came to our table it was so delicious. I should've just taken it apart by hand but I opted to use a knife and when I did I practically ruined that nice soft crusty bread. The butter practically melted on the hot bread and we could smell the bread as it came to our table which as you know is a pretty good sign of a great bread! Overall the steak did not need any seasoning it was cooked perfectly and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! Daniel our server was one of the greatest storyteller at our table and we enjoyed his service and the reason why he ended up in Oklahoma! You'll have to seek him out and ask about his story and the years he put in with a certain company but all of that is part of the mystery of how Daniel relocated to Oklahoma. The other thing I want to mention is the manager came by our table twice to ask us about how are food was and that shows you how serious they are about their service. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the bread nor the dinner plate but it was the best thing I've ever eaten in Oklahoma so give it a try and I guarantee that you'll rave about the quality and the service of this little place in the Omni hotel that is called Bob's.

Yelp
I must say I was pleasantly surprised that a place called Bob's Steak and Chop House could be so elegant. And the food...well let's just say it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. But first, the bread and house made pickles and peppers...different and delicious! The pickles and peppers tasted fresh and something not too heavy before you indulge in a steak dinner. The bread was soft and buttery goodness. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was SOOOO GOOD and did I mention JUMBO?! The steak. I ordered the filet and lobster tail, and oh boy did it MELT IN MY MOUTH. I added bernaise sauce but didn't need it! The steak was so very tender and already seasoned to perfection! Undoubtedly, one of the best! The carrot reminded of candied yams at Thanksgiving, yummy! Brussel Sprouts were also very good with chunks of bacon embedded throughout. The brownie sundae was also just as good as it looks and complimentary for our anniversary. Our server was very knowledgeable and quick to tend to our every need. Decor was elegant, and we loved the ambience. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Yelp
I had the 14oz ribeye and it was done perfectly. The honey glazed carrot was delicious and my baked potato was also great. My wife shrimp pasta was very tasty. The service was stellar and the recommendation for wine was spot on. The restaurant ambiance allowed for great conversations with your party. Would highly recommend!
google avatar

Mara W.

Yelp
Bobs was impressive! Hotel restaurants are usually my favorite but I was pleasantly surprised. The waiter was very versed in the menu and nice. The onion rings were delicious! Fried perfectly and so crispy. The bread for the table was yummy, perfect yeast tang. The calamari was also good; could have been seasoned a bit more. The lamb and mushrooms were so yummy. Not the best lamb I've had but definitely top tier!

Jeff S.

Yelp
I have lots of nostalgia for the original Bob's on Lemmon in Dallas. I have been reticent to try the one in Oklahoma City just because franchises often let me down. We ended up going last Saturday and it was just a terrific time. The drinks, the steak, the service. It's all just top notch. We will certainly be back. Bob's rockets to the top of the prime steakhouse race on the OKC metro.

Yelp
Hello- A friend and I went to Bob's on a Monday night after we left the Von Gogh art show. I was very excited to try this place because I've heard so much about it. To my surprise this place was very disappointing. I ordered my steak medium-well hoping it would come out pretty juicy and pink in the middle. However this steak was over cooked like it was in a warmer waiting for someone to order. My friend said hers was over cooked as well. We let the waiter know and he said he would let the mgr know. We waited on the manager to come and speak with us but he never came. The mashed potatoes and carrots were both served cold. Looking at the picture you can tell that the steak was over cooked. The juice on the plate is from the carrots. I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe they are selling the atmosphere more than the food.
google avatar

Caleb S.

Yelp
Great environment, great food! I can't just write a simple review according to Yelp but long- Story short, it is worth going at least once.

Scott G.

Yelp
Atmosphere is excellent, food is awesome.. had the 22oz ribeye!! Amazing. Drinks are poured very strong. Staff was greats... my new place.

David A.

Yelp
30 minute wait for my dinner at the bar. I needed to leave for a business call so asked for dinner to go but ended up with no condiments or silverware. Expectations for a high end steakhouse were not met.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Would recommend the tomahawk shrimp sampler appetizer, Mac and cheese side. Our server Spencer was a pleasure. We sat in the bar area and was a great experience all around. Very accommodating for special dietary restrictions as well.

Yelp
The best food and the best service!! Can't wait to go back! We have been twice and the food and service has been top notch both times.

Yelp
We had heard such praise for this place, but were very disappointed. I don't mind paying high prices for a special occasion, but the waiter or the cook mixed up the temps on our steaks. Mine ($100 with the lobster) was overcooked, dry, and inedibly salty. My husband's was bloody and almost inedible. The waiter was friendly at first but took our bread when I misunderstood him. We flagged the bread server for more, which I think angered our waiter. He curtly explained what a professional he was and didn't get mad. Huh. He never checked back with us, and I finally had to ask another server to find him for our check. This was a very special occasion that was ruined because of wildly expensive, tasteless food, and poor service. Perhaps because we were seniors or didn't look wealthy--who knows why he was so cold? It shouldn't matter.

Yelp
Best service I've had in years! RJ was terrific! Gracious, attentive, personalized service from start to finish. The atmosphere was classy and quiet, the bar was beautiful, and then there's the food...great steaks, desserts, and wine list. Biggest carrots I've ever seen, and I worked as a teen in a produce department for 5 years. The tuna in the tartar was the freshest most vibrant sushi grade tuna I've ever seen. A truly magnificent meal executed by a friendly staff, one that should be enjoyed by all!

Yelp
We made a reservation for dinner on a Thursday evening. We arrived an hour early so we could sit at the bar and enjoy a drink before dinner. The bar area was crowded, but we had no trouble grabbing an open table in the bar area where a server promptly came over to take our order. The drinks were good-- I still maintain that Bob's has the best Moscow mule. For dinner we shared the tuna tartare and a wedge salad, then we each ordered a ribeye. Our appetizer had SO MUCH tuna, and it was insanely delicious with the crispy wonton chips. Their blue cheese dressing is also a show stopper. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were flavorful and delicious. I'd pass on the carrots in the future, but the potatoes were nice and I liked that they were included with the meal at no charge. A great place to celebrate with loved ones!

Yelp
A great place for ambiance but the food was mediocre. We ordered tuna tartar as appetizer . The tuna was good fresh and marinade tasted sweet and the sesame oil made it rich and tasty however the sriracha sauce was too spicy . The wonton chips definitely was a nice touch. For dinner we got the rack of lamb and duck breast ! Lamb was good ... tender and juicy ! It came w baked potato and glazed carrots! Both weren't anything special The duck breast was definitely a disappointment ! I ordered medium yet it was not pink in center ! Very chewy ! It came w house slices fried potatoes which was undercooked ! If you are wanting a good steak i would stay with Mahogany and The Ranch!

Yelp
It was really too dark last night to photograph the food so... my bad!!! HOWEVERRRRRRRRR, *lip smack* 10/10. A+. Not sure what else to say other than I need y'all to eat here. Granted, it's expensive. But, it's a legit steakhouse for God's sakes, so spend the extra $$ if ya can. I made reservations for NYE dinner, I was so excited to eat here I almost couldn't stand it. We raise beef cattle so I feel like we're pretty good judges of good steak. And LEMME YELL YA, these were FIRE! I got the Wagyu filet and wow. Tender. Juicy. Unctuous. With such a good, clean, beef flavor. Tasted like the beef we raise. It was so good. And well worth the $$ because I ate every. single. bite. My husband got the ribeye and devoured it as well. He actually tastes the filet and said he preferred his ribeye to my filet if that's any indication of how good it was. The carrot they serve is equally amazing; citrus and brown sugar glazed and cooked to tender perfection. I didn't eat it though bc I was much too focused on my filet. So, long story short, Eat At Bob's!! P.S. service was also great!

Yelp
A night to remember. Stopped in with a reservation last night to celebrate a change in career with a new job. Bobs is the picture of fine dining and elegance (western themed). We had a party of four and had three ribeye, different sides and the seafood of the day. Not a single thing we tasted was less then superb. My favorite thing was the brussel sprouts tossed in bacon, balsamic and I can not even tell you what else. The portion sizes are large which makes you feel a a bit better about the high prices but, I'll definitely be returning. The girl there waited on us what simply lovely, cheerful and bright.

Yelp
So we went for our anniversary. Hubby ordered filet I ordered duck and lobster. We got a free dessert. Food was good however mine was cold. Better filet at Mahogany's down one clock. Service was good until half way through then our waitress went Mia. Beautiful atmosphere. Our meal for 2 was 260 with no alcohol. Probably won't return.

Yelp
I wasn't really sure how to rate them as I did enjoy my meal, the atmosphere is very inviting and the bar area would be a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy an appetizer and drink. While it did take quite a while for our food to come out the service was impeccable and everyone was extremely friendly. I ordered a filet, and while it was tender, the filets I get at Cattleman's are like butter. My husband knew that it wasn't my favorite because I gave him half of my steak. He also ordered a steak, however he indicated it was not his favorite and his potato was a little over done. It was a nice evening - we enjoyed the atmosphere and company - and were glad we tried this place ... it just won't be our go to - One and done

Yelp
The staff at Bob's are amazing. They made our experience very enjoyable. We dined there both nights while we were in OKC. First night we dined in the main dining room, second night we walked in and got a table in the bar area so that we can watch the Astros World series. If you don't want to watch sports in a loud sports bar this is a good option. The food and cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend this steakhouse if come to OKC.

Yelp
This restaurant has amazing food and ambience, but what really made the experience amazing...was the staff. The best restaurants are all about service, and Bob's does not disappoint. Andi (our server) was so kind and attentive and really made the experience enjoyable. The food and desserts were INSANE! 5 star recommendation
