Stumbled onto this restaurant while driving across the state and so glad we did. My wife has celiac and they were great keeping her food separate and were very knowledgeable! Everyone here was great! The food was phenomenal! The sauces were flavorful and not overpowering! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back but so glad we found it and chose to stop here.

Wanted to like this place. Menu looked great, options for me and vegan wife. Vibe was cool. I ordered the special of the day, cheeseburger burrito and wifenordered the vegan burrito.... 2 bites in I was disappointed. It didnt taste anything like the description. And my wife had the same feeling. We opened up the burritos. They mislabeled them. It was a long day, made longer by this experience. Vegans, be warned.

Boca Grande Burrito exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The colorful decor set the perfect tone for a dining experience. The cashier was friendly and incredibly helpful, guiding us through the menu and even assisting in creating a customized dish. From the moment we placed our order to when we left, we felt well taken care of. The cashier went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, making our visit memorable. Overall, Boca Grande Burrito has earned its high ratings and then some. We will definitely be returning to indulge in their delicious food and soak in the wonderful atmosphere once again. Talk about flavor, delicious burritos, customer service, and awesome street corn? Well look no further because this place has it all! This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I was impressed! I ordered two burritos, and street corn. The pork burrito had the fresh green and red peppers, which gave it so much flavor! I also had the chicken burrito which was delicious also. The street corn I was really impressed with. This had so much flavor, and I added the table hot sauce which made it even better! Great Job BGB!!

Really amazing burrito! I got the brisket, it was full of well-made brisket! It gives off a family run vibe, with a very casual environment. Way better than any of the chain fast foods.

The decor was really nice and cheery. Upon arriving we noticed that there was a nearby parking lot, so we had no issues finding parking. Upon entering we were quickly greeted by a friendly young man, who expanded some of their popular selections. So we ordered one chicken and one beef burrito, and we truly enjoyed everything we ordered. The burritos were very large and very plentiful. All the food was fresh and tasty. We also noticed that the restaurant was being maintained to the highest standard. The bathrooms were clean. Customer service was excellent and professional, which is rare these days. I could tell the staff enjoyed there jobs, they were very helpful. A huge thank you to the manager/ owner. Im positive we will be returning customer and I will be referring them to all!

Mr. David, the chef, is creatively brilliant. You can’t say “I don’t like that” to anything because even if I don’t like it, it tastes amazing in his burritos. There’s not a single item on their menu I won’t eat. This is hands down the absolute best burrito shop ever. The food is always fresh, the people who work there are real friendly, and everything about it screams “great food”. If you haven’t been, you are absolutely missing out. And if you have, then you already know!

This place is a classy joint! Welcoming atmosphere, super friendly staff, clean facilities, and of above all delicious food! Brisket burrito (toasted) was on point. Queso was great, and their hot sauce had great flavor, and the right amount of kick.

The food was good and it came out quickly and the apple juice was great (for my pet monkey).

Would easily describe this as a 100-mile burrito. I would drive 100 miles just to have this burrito. Chicken is epic and needs no substitutions. The kids rice & queso bowl is perfect for our 2yo and is enough meal for a few days.

A solid 4.5! Fast but fresh, this is a great spot for lunch or dinner! Burritos and tacos with almost unlimited options, everything tasted great. I chose to try the tacos so I could try several different options and I made a wise choice. Taco Grande Supreme, Chorizo and Potato and the regular beef taco were all phenomenal! Strongly recommend this place!

We tried this today for the first time and the food was great! It was fresh and fulfilling. The service was great! The person taking our order explained the menu to us, and shared his recommendations as well. The ambiance is so cute! We will definitely be back!

Hands down one of the BEST burritos I've ever had! They are HUGE and packed with fresh, tasty ingredients.

In terms of pure burritos, Boca grande burrito greater than tacos Nayarit, chipotle, moes, qdoba, etc Beef burrito good add chorizo

Kind of surprised its taken me so long to refue this place as we've been coming here for the past year or so. Was I maybe waiting on the bad hat to drop? Well, it hasn't. I either get the Veggie or Vegan Burrito, but I've yet to try to tacos. Guess its all in the name, cause the burritoa are where it's at! I wish they had more non-meat based specials like the Indian-flavored inspired one I had once, which has been my all-time fave selectiin since coming here, but I know Cola doesn't demand veggie options too often, so alas. Of the Hot Dips, the Chili Rojo is my absolute favorite - got Just enough heat without killing my taste buds. Boca Grande is a great experience.

My daughter and I stopped by here as this was a place that I had on my list to visit. When we walked in, the young lady greeted us. We informed her that this was our first visit. She walked through the menu and gave us paper menus for us to go over. Once we decided on our items, we ordered. I got the chicken burrito and my daughter got a burrito bowl. We also ordered elote. The chicken burrito didn't have much flavor, and the corn in the elote seemed like it had been sitting and cooking a while. It was also sour...as if lime juice was put in it before being served. Not sour as in old or bad. I asked for some hot sauce for the burrito and I added a little salt and pepper. That worked for the burrito, but the elote was a lost. My daughter enjoyed her burrito bowl. All in all, I would return. They offer military discounts, which is a plus. The establishment was clean, the staff was very nice and accommodating and the owner was very nice as well.

Literally swung by Boca during a lunch rush and I am so happy that I did! The street corn was absolutely delicious. The burrito was hands-down the best burrito I've ever had the port was so moist tender and flavorful! The restaurant is located conveniently off of Forest Drive. The staff was extremely nice and less they got my order out expeditiously. This will definitely be one of my new go to burrito spots.

We just didn't care for it. I believe we were expecting the same sort of flavors and grande burritos we used to get in Oklahoma. The flavors just weren't there

Stopped here on the way up to NC from FL wanting something quick. We got the GF chicken burrito and a veggie burrito. They were so good we had to stop again on our way down!

Holy Fuacamole! Calling this the best tacos I've ever had might be the first thing my ex wife and I have agreed on since deciding to get a divorce. I looked up the best food in Columbia SC and the best tacos, and I've got to say my faith in Google search has been restored. No offense yelp. I got the beef brisket taco by recommendation of the guy working, and I was blown away. Chicken burrito was also great. I grabbed it on a road trip back to Atlanta and if It wasn't my time to have the dogs this week (because of the divorce) i might still be there eating tacos. I wasn't even a brisket guy! Foods great & friendly staff, You're probably going to need a 20 to get your fill but hey, what can I say, even if you're legally obligated to share half with your ex spouse... It's worth it. P.s. great aesthetics inside, but more likely than not it will be busy in there.

Was going to rate this a 4 star, but I don't want to kill the momentum for them. This is a safe option for a well wrapped and easy-for-all-taste-buds burrito. Easy for families with kids. I don't know who owns the place - I just knew the hot sauce would be mild, if you catch my drift. The place is very clean and has a lot of trendy decor. Super friendly service. No red flags, it was a good burrito and I'll be back, but not the 5-star top burrito spot in Cola.

This was really good. My first bite blew me away. We were looking for a good food spot on our way back to Greenville and when we saw a place that had gluten free burritos, we were set. Honestly, I was slightly disappointed to find out that you don't actually get a "burrito" with the gluten free option, but the bowl and gluten free tortillas were really great. I do wish there was one more tortilla with this order. I also used some of their hot sauce and it was the perfect addition. My friend who loves spicy food said the extra hot sauce was actually pretty darn hot for them. Overall, we were so satisfied with this find. And the workers were all kind & helpful getting us acquainted with the options and answering our gluten questions and concerns

Huge burritos. Delicious. We did pick up, so I'm not sure about service, but no complaints with pick up. Small space, but still worth it for a delicious and quick burrito.

I've eaten here quite a few times! They always get my order right, super quick, and always consistent. Their taste isn't everyone's but personally they're one of my favorite spots in Columbia.I usually get the chicken burrito and it's super good in my opinion. The consumme is my favoriteeeee dipping sauce as well! Definitely think everyone should try it

Beautiful decor! Love the atmosphere and the friendly service. I saw the lights outside and I pulled around. Star lights on the lights is a super cute touch. It gives you the mellow, beautiful colors, Cancun feel. We'll be back. Food was so good and flavorful

This place is our families favorite!! So good about food allergies and very kid friendly which is a huge plus for us. Couldn't recommend this place enough! I will drive the 40 minute drive from Lexington just to get it

Alright, alright I came on the opening weekend way back in April before they got a Yelp so I'm late to review/. This one was a hard one for me. I really, really wanted to like it, but it's just not for me. Here's the break down: 1. Super friendly service and the owner broke down the entire menu for us. You order at the register and you do get to customize your burrito a fair amount. 2. Chips and Salsa just weren't good. The chips tasted store bought (I don't know if they are) and the salsa wasn't my type of salsa. I like a bright red and runny salsa, and this was darker (possibly chipotle based) and chunkier. 3. The killer for me. The chicken burrito was hard to eat. It's shredded chicken and I thought it would be chopped chicken (like most do). My first couple of bites threw me off a lot with it. I could tell the chicken was scooped into the burrito with a scoop and that just grossed me out. The chicken was a grey color and really wet. Like...super soaker wet. If you think about it, eating a soft burrito with really soft/mushy chicken is really off putting. It honestly had the consistency of what I would think wet cat food tastes like. 4. A lot of people on Yelp are dinging them for being expensive and I don't think so. All the burritos are 8/9 dollars. That's a dollar more than Moe's or Chipotle and obviously they have better ingredients (just ones I'm not a fan of). So yeah, would I recommend Boca Grande? Actually, possibly. Their food just wasn't for me. I don't eat beef, so I assume if you're going to get a beef burrito that would be better. I love shredded chicken, just not when it's grey and mushy. That might be some people's thing. My wife had a tofu burrito and she said it was okay. She said it needed a bit more spice.

Ordered over the phone and it was ready by the time I got there. Great portion size for the price and great flavor. Would definitely go here over chipotle.

We went here yesterday for the first time. My wife ordered the chicken burrito bowl and I ordered the beef brisket burrito. The beef burrito was excellent and contained rice, black beans, corn relish Along with other things. They asked if I would like it steamed or slightly grilled. I had it, steamed. I'd order it again next time to. My wife suggested that they should serve it inside one of their cardboard boxes like to do the chicken burrito bowls, Because it's sort of oily and drips out of the aluminum foil when you're eating it. The chips and salsa are extra and They have three different types of sauce or you can order. I wish they had queso dip, but I didn't see it. Great place, good service, and good food. I think our price for two burritos, chips and salsa, and a Coke with tip was about $35.

Boca Grande is located on Forest Drive in a small shopping center. Parking was pretty easy to find. Old shopping center but everything has been renovated and looks new inside. 10 - 12 tables. A table by the entrance sells Boca Grande t-shirts, decals, etc. You head to the back of the restaurant to order. The menu is on the wall above the counter. I ordered a Vegetarian Burrito (crispy). Crispy just means they grill it in a sandwich press to brown it a little. My burrito came with a little container of hot sauce. The burrito was not really crispy, I don't think that process added anything special. The vegetarian burrito came with white rice, black beans and veggies. While I ate my burrito it was nothing special. I didn't care for the hot sauce, it was not very hot and lacked any flavor. Overall great service, nice new decor, but the food was not great.

The food and the service was amazing i went in on a Tuesday around 5:50 and this young lady at the register was so excited to serve me she reallly needs a raise i got the cheeseburger burrito when i say amazing... i don't have any pictures of the food but i smashed it. The ambiance by far very homie and clean it's a place i would take all my friends and family too

The Best Burrito in Columbia IMO!!! Chicken burrito with rice, chicken, corn, black beans, lettuce, tomato and pico di gallo I ordered extra. I can't ever get around to ordering something else as I love this one so much. Definitely is not a meat only burrito found most places!!!

After looking at Yelp for street tacos, this place popped up. Then I checked out reviews, menu, pics, and decided to give it a shot. What really drew me in was hot dipping sauces for the burrito. I'm stupid for Mole sauce. I got a chicken burrito, crispy, and of course the side of Mole. Gotta say, I'm not typically a burrito guy, too much tortilla fills me up. Usually end up just eating the Stuffing. But this thing, Nom...nom...nom...total Yumgasm!!! Mole with just a hint of a kick was very delicious. My judge of a restaurant "would I go back." Yep. Well done people.

The customer service was nice and friendly. However the food lacked seasoning and taste overall. I had to add extra stuff to dip the burrito in because it was that bad. I wouldn't recommend it and this was my first time going there.

I found out about this place through Yelp as some of their food was promoted and decided to give it a go. The restaurant is located in one of the most active areas of Forest Drive so careful driving. Upon entrance, one will feel intrigued by the decor and how it all feels complete. I ended up choosing to make my own burrito which seemed like a pretty good deal. The food came out after a couple minutes and I dug into what was one of the most delicious burritos I have had in a while. All the ingredients tasted fresh and collaborated together perfectly. The burrito was delicious and I thought that was the peak until I tried some of the street corn and fell in love. All of the food I ordered was absolutely delicious and I look forward to spreading the word about this place in the future.

First time coming here today (5/26/23) & I'm glad that I did! The food was delicious & the service was right on par. I wish I remembered the name of the guy who helped me & made sure that my food had no dairy because he deserves a raise! My daughter & I throughly enjoyed the chicken burritos & the guys loved the beef brisket burritos he recommended. Hands down will be going back here. Didn't dine in but enjoyed the music, décor & atmosphere while waiting the short wait for my food.

Top to bottom a great experience! Food was fantastic, atmosphere was incredible, prices were very reasonable, and the service was 10/10. The employees go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could want or need. That's what prompted me to write this review honestly. The portions were good and plentiful so we definitely left satisfied, which is top of my list in importance for a restaurant. Will absolutely return when I'm in the area, and I strongly recommend Boca Grande to anyone considering!

I use to love the food here until I discovered a long black hair in my burrito . I am truly disappointed and I will not return. we sat by the kitchen and we noticed not one person wore hat or hair net.

We had just arrived in Columbia for my husband's graduation at Fort Jackson. He wanted to bring us to his new favorite spot. Just one bite of my meal and I understood why this establishment was his new favorite! I had a chicken burrito bowl with yellow rice, black beans, avocado ranch and it was spectacular! The ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. It was extremely busy and the parking lot was over flowing but so worth the hassle.

Yummy! The burritos were customizable and filling! You will not leave hungry. This is a 4 instead of a 5 because there was very little meat with a ton of rice (sort of expected ) but I added the avocado mash... I specifically asked if it was avocado only and shared I don't like anything in the mash... specifically onion. The clerk said it was just avocado... nope... it had other stuff including onions.

The kids meal came with a surprise fruit cup. It was fresh and delicious. Muchas gracias.

In Columbia for work and tried this cute little place for dinner. Got an order to go and the service was very fast and super friendly! I did the build your own burrito with chicken and black beans. It was delicious. Everything was fresh and the salsa was really great as well. Definitely recommend!

This is my first experience here at Boca Grande Burritos I knew a little about the owner and his history in Columbia. Upon entering I was warmly greeted as and was the first customer today. Overwhelmed by options I took a few pro tips from lady behind he counter. Once I saw I chorizo as an option I ordered a build your own burrito. Red rice , chorizo, salsa verde , crema , cilantro , white cheddar , and I ordered it crispy. You must ordered the hot temperature dipping sauces to enhance the burrito experience. The mole was super velvety chocolaety with a mild heat that poured onto my burrito bite after bite. During my lunch at least two people stopped by to see if I needed anything. Met one of the owners and discussed the menu and their future plans. This place beat my expectations.

Wonderful burritos and super friendly staff. I've been a few times now since I just moved here and I've been A fan of everything I've tried! Great mole sauce (I highly recommend adding it to your order!!), and the beef and pork burritos are great. There's plenty of parking and they have drinks available inside (alcoholic and non alcoholic). They have preset burrito choices but you can also "create your own" if none of their recommendation meet your fancy. Can't go wrong here!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat in the middle of a busy lunch hour. The service was quick and they had someone going around with a mobile to help the line move quicker. Lots of good options and the space is nicely decorated. I got the pork burrito , a side of mole for dipping and the street corn side. The burrito came with radish with gave it a nice crunch. I loved the flavor of the mole with the burrito. Good experience . Will return for more goodness.
