Boca Juniors

Came here to celebrate my nephews birthday. Liked the overall Argentinian soccer theme. We ordered the Parrilla Boca Juniors combo, which was a good amount of food but was rather tasteless for the premium price that we paid for. Had mashed potatoes and french fries for sides.

I came in with my brother and mother on a Friday night for dinner. Multiple waiters came up to us waiting to take our order. The service was extremely quick. The food is delicious and tasty. The chimichurri sauce is really good. We ordered the mixed grill meats for two; steamed spinach, provincial potatoes, which are basically potato chips, the red beans which was lip smacking as well as the yellow rice. We paired it with a pitcher of red sangria. We don’t mind paying the tip in cash while charging the rest to the credit card.

I recently visited Boca Juniors Steakhouse with high hopes, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. As a huge fan of Argentinian cuisine, I was excited to try the Parrilla Boca Juniors ($117.95), expecting top-quality meat. Instead, I was disappointed by the poor cuts we received—some pieces were overly fatty, and the short ribs were the toughest I’ve ever had. The service was great, and the Argentinian-themed décor added some charm, though the abundance of Boca Juniors soccer jerseys felt a bit overdone. Sadly, I can't recommend this place, especially at such high prices. If you do decide to go, maybe stick to a chicken dish instead.

Overall a very bad experience and never going there again. The waiters circled around the table making the atmosphere very uncomfortable. A literal second after dropping the check the waiter came back not letting the table discuss how the check would be split. Did not leave tip because the waiter was extremely rude when asking about the sides of the Parilla. A 300$ bill for shitty service and like 3 pieces of meat. Take your business elsewhere and for the owner please hire better waiters.

Awesome Argentinean Steakhouse Restaurant !!! Nice atmosphere, good seasoning. Excellent Meats quality. Friendly and helpful waiter. Decorations were beautiful. Decent prices and good portions. We were really surprised with the food and service of this Restaurant compared to others high end Steakhouses. You will really enjoy this place.

This is our third time at Boca Juniors, and we loved it. The pricing isn't bad, and the steak was awesome! I really enjoyed the service, too! It is a nice, laid-back, family friendly environment.

I was raised in Argentina and am a big fan of Boca Junior football team, aka soccer, so I wore my tram jersey and my wife and I joined 3 friends who had been there before. Food was mostly good; chorizo was the best and the chinchulines the worst. But the worst part was that 3 of the party of 5 got sick, I was the worst. Without the need for detailed description I'm on the second day fully dehydrated. I would say that lack of cleanliness was the cause.

The food is great, the energy itself in the restaurant feels really welcoming, and the employees are very kind. Most definitely coming back and will recommend to family and friends.

Boca Juniors It's such a great place to have a decent dinner. The food is top-notch! The service is outstanding, and the restaurant is an experience to live in, especially if you're a hardcore soccer fan. Truly a gem in the neighborhood. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

Boca Juniors has been around a long time. It is an Argentinean steakhouse that is dedicated to the soccer club. All of the inside decor is catered to their fans and they have large screen TVs to view the games. Even if you are not a soccer fan, this is still a great place to try Argentinean food. The place is huge and can accommodate any size group. My friend and I chose the Parrillada para Dos (mixed grill for two) and I would definitely suggest getting that one. It came with a good selection of grilled meats such as steak, chicken, blood sausage, tripe and pork chops. The best of the bunch were easily the steak and chicken. It comes with two sides too and was actually too much food for the two of us. Highly recommended.

This is a nice atmosphere, soccer playing on the tvs very family friendly !! Service was great , didn't like that they didn't have filtered water which is why I removed a star , I got a sirloin steak with salad and my company got skirt steaks with mashed potatoes. The steaks were literally Cooked to perfection like wow best steak ever ! The mashed potatoes were a nice texture , had a few lumps but pretty soft which is just how I like it . I also got sangria and flan . Flan is super yummy and sweet and warning the sangria is strong asf , two drinks made me completely drunk lol !!

soccer themed restaurant on Queens blvd. Last time at this place, 15+ years ago. Vibe was very different. The restaurant was Dark, and staff were not very welcoming or attentive. The restaurant was not packed. We were a party of 5. Churrasco was good, and so was the Sangria, but was expecting more for the $$$. Not sure if I would return.

Boca juniors is a local spot for me , this place has hosted plenty of birthday dinners for our family the ambiance is very exciting especially when they have Futbol games on , now on to the food I love their skirt steaks it my go to but everything is great they have a meat platter that comes out sizzling on mini grill pretty cool if you ask me. The service from the staff is great waiters are on point, and some times the owner comes up to your table to ask how your night is going and if everything is up yo your standards thanks for going above and beyond for your customers. I've added moments from 2011 I've been going to this place along time lol

Delicious steaks. Strongly recommend skirt steak and shell steak, others are great too.

Not usually my go to steakhouse but does the job when family comes to visit. Great portion size for the price point and enough to always take home for left overs. Severs are kind and try there best to accommodate even busy (accommodating as in being patient when the table had a bunch of questions - we were totally being annoying since we had some none steak eaters & older folk at the table) The restaurant is very soccer friendly bunch of TVs great to watch a. Game if it's your thing. As another reviewer mentioned a strange smell of cheese I can concur I smelled the same (not sure what it was) but it was covered with the food lol

Had dinner on a sunday evening here, seated promptly. Complimentary bread and chimichurri sauce outshined my apps ordered which were Chorizo,Calamari and empanadas which were all ok.Main entree we had skirt steak,T-bone and filet mignon. Steaks were cooked perfect. Had dessert tiramisu,ice cream and their signature dessert called Don Pedro which was very good,cant go wrong with a whiskey dessert. Service was 5 stars.

Great skirt steak and shell steak. Service was friendly! Not the biggest fan of the mussels but enjoyed the steak, salad and yucca frita. Reasonable prices too. Great place for futbol fans naturally:)

Great local restaurant to enjoy some grilled meats. I recently had my sons baptism here and we made reservations for a party of 20. We ordered a bunch of grilled meat platters and sides with pitchers of Sangria. My guests enjoyed the food and the service was impeccable that day. I recommend.

Ever since La Portena closed, this place has been my go to when I want Argentinian steak. Their portions are very fulfilling and you will never leave unsatisfied. They have great sangria, which we always tend to order. Give it a try. You will come out with a happy belly.

It's been 1 full hour since checking in (checked in after placing our order) and... still no food. We ordered a skirt steak and Paella Marinara. It shouldn't take long to prepare a medium well steak nor a paella. I had to flag our server and find out what happened! Hubby and I are ready to pack up and go because this is ridiculous! Staying here for 5 more minutes since the server pleaded with us but if there's no sight of food, we're outta here and NEVER going back. ... Update: 15 minutes later and we are out. Horrible, horrible service. This was supposed to be our date night away from the kids and this place just ruined it. They wasted our time! Note that we took the food to go, paid for it but did not leave a tip. Someone dropped the ball with our order and this is unacceptable - the other diners seated in the tables around us already left and worse, the new diners across the table got their meal before us! We will definitely NOT be back. I am so glad to try this place out first before bringing any of my friends and family (and we always dine out too!)

It's completely distasteful to "automatically" charge a tip without any previous notice or consent. Although the food was good and the service was alright, why am I automatically being charged an 18% tip without being notified in advance. When I asked the server, he said "it's because it's Mother's Day and it's a tough day on us"...that's insane. The waiter would be mia & the restaurant wasn't even that packed.

By far one of the worst places I've been to in New York. I cannot believe how bad it was. It also smelled like cheese. Service was ok, not bad. Just couldn't stand the food and I threw up later.

If you're going to try steak, don't be cheap and just go for the filet mignon, you won't be disappointed. Great service.

If you want to watch a soccer game, this is definitely the place to come. The food tastes like it came straight from Argentina. Chimichurri was perfect, steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. This place and everyone here is so patriotic, I felt like I was back home.

Delicious food, good service, relaxed atmosphere. It's a bit like an Argentinian sports bar because all the waiters are dressed in soccer jerseys and there's constant soccer on the big screen TVS, but that just makes it seem more relaxed. Recommended: filet steak. Two filets not one, and good sides. A must to try if you live in Queens.

Definetly a great place to watch a soccer game with your family and friends. If you prefer to eat at a quiet place, this is not the place you should eat at. The waiters are extremely nice and made sure that we were satisfied. The food is okay and it is a bit overpriced.

Delicious!! The hub and I had a hankering for some steak. He said there's an Argentinian steakhouse we can try. The restaurant is covered with photos on the walls of soccer teams especially the Argentinian team. Multiple tv screens around the restaurant with soccer games playing. Blue and yellow everywhere the ceiling has flags from around the world. All male servers very friendly and attentive. Now onto the food! Skirt steak and fresh French fries fresh mash potatoes for the hub. Even though the steak is perfect I still put the chimchurri sauce on it. You can ask for picked peppers on the side. The avocado Salad is tasty and the portions are a good size! We took leftovers home. We will returnin !

I had the best service and food at this Argentinian restaurant. A gem in Queens. I had a churrasco the meat was tender. I also had a mixed salad fresh and delicious. Also I had a morcilla which was amazing too. A glass of Malbec and to top it all panqueques de dulce de leche. The service was amazing too. Very cordial and fast. Forgot the empanadas ... Delicious also. I highly recommend this restaurant. I keep coming back. I am willing to drive 50 minutes to get there.

Food is really good great taste. Very Fresh. The drink are really good smooth and not too much alcohol. I fo think the service could be a little better. The wait for the food is long but its worth the wait.

If I could give this restaurant a worse rating I would give it a zero. We ordered a parrillada for one and then at the time of payment noticed at the end the receipt had us marked for a Parrillada for two. On top of that we got charged a 20% tip fee without our consent. We ordered yucca frita and it tasted weird so we told the waiter and he made a sly comment about how I had basically already ate the whole thing(which I didn't). The waiter said they preferred cash so I gave him cash expecting my change and they never gave it to me. So on top of a 20% tip they kept my change. Total scam for shit service. Not cool!

I like the food here but ever since covid it's such a hassle to order from here ! I'm actually done with them they always answer act like they can't hear you then leave the phone unplugged so it' goes to busy ! Terrible because they don't appreciate pick up business

1st time at this restaurant, definitely not what was expected, waiters really don't pay much attention to you and treat you as if they are doing you a favor, why not? If the tip is automatically added to your bill, crappy service or not, they get their 18%. The food was definitely average and expensive, nothing great or unique about it, the seafood used in their paella tasted old, the rice had no flavor, and the shrimp was like chewing a rubber toy, ended up with stomach problems all night. Would I return or recommend this place? Probably NO! There are so many other steakhouse restaurants around that will provide you with a much better experience all around.

Been coming here for years with my family however I agree with the other Yelpers, place has gone down. Food was just okay, ordered the meat platter. However their service is the reason we won't be coming back here again. The wait staff pick and choose who they want to be hospitable with as not everyone get the same treatment and it's clearly evident. They are rude and inattentive. Do not order dessert as it's not fresh and taste stale. Yes, all three options (tres leches, cheesecake and flan). We want to support local businesses but their lack of hospitality and rudeness have made us decide to never support this place again.

It used to be good, not anymore. Food still good, service is pathetic. I waited more than 5 minutes for my water to be refilled while my waiter spent that time talking to the table next door about his daughter and his love adventure. Then I asked for a dessert and I waited for 20+ minutes while the same waiter continued to bullshit around with the table next door. Besides, the same exact person wore his mask as a scarf. Totally unrespectful. Too bad they are going downhill as there is not much for argentinian food around

We went to this restaurant with a couple of friends to watch a Copa America game and it was a pleasant experience. My friends had ordered a parrillada and the meat was delicious, they serve you with some type of sauce that makes it taste even better. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a restaurant to watch a soccer game.

People say Peter Luger or jacks steaks house are the best but if you haven't tried this place you are out your mind. This is a delicious place to eat. It's a little taste of Argentina's steaks. This place is a great little soccer paradise. The decor is futbol out. The restaurant is covered with old photos of soccer teams, multiple tv flat screens all playing futbol games. The staff is very friendly and they are very attentive. Now let's get to the real thing the food is amazing. The skirt steak is cooked at your choice. The mash potato is perfect. They have an amazing chimchurri sauce that goes great on the steak. They have a avocado salad that can feed two people. They also have a mixed meat plater with all kind of meats that also is amazing. Well bottom line is that this place is good and not pricey at all. Enjoy this amazing place and tell me what you think.

Excellent! Came from Miami big Boca Juniors fans and we loved the place decoration on point and the food is fire! Highly recommended beef empanadas and Boca Juniors Soup are must have!

No bad for some Parrillada in Queens. Very nice environment. If you are fan of Boca Junior this is the place to stay if that day Boca Junior is playing just have a chance to watch the game too.

Me and a Buddy went in there on a Saturday when there was a full schedule of soccer games on television. We walk in and all the TV's are off and the place is like a morgue. We ordered our food and asked the waiter to please turn on the Manchester United Game. He looked at us like we had 5 heads!. For a soccer oriented establishment you'd think there would be soccer on 24/7 no matter what team is playing. Strike 1. We order our steaks and they come out with the crappiest fries i've ever had. The steak tasted like something you'd buy at dollar tree!. for 20.00+ you'd think you get some decent steak but it was awful!. The best part about the entire meal was the Quilmes Beers.Strike 2 and the final nail in the coffin. the dreaded 18% gratuity tacked onto the bill. WTF! who in their right mind would tip these people? the waiter was very unpleasant and i was going to leave a minimal tip but surprise! they do it for you! Word of Advice. Purchase your own meats from a butcher and have your own asado. i guarantee you'd have a better meal at home than at this dump. STAY AWAY!

Have been here a handful of time but the food is always delicious. Casual environment with lots of TVs. Service can be a little inattentive but the food makes up for it. I got the breaded steak with cheese and onion. It was huge tasty and filling. Came with a side of mashed potatoes that were delicious buttery and whipped. Had the meat empanada to start which was ok. My friend had cheese ravioli with cream sauce that was also very tasty. Meal is served with bead with bruschetta and chimi churro sauce which was a great way to start the meal. Had a glass of red sangria that was amazing! Overall very happy with the food and would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Portions are huge. Atmosphere is amazing for soccer fans, shirts hanged everywhere and pictures of Maradona. Service was quick and friendly, place was clean and nice, and food was okay with huge portions. I enjoyed my dinner there and feels like it's a place that one need to try at least once especially when there is a match where Argentina is part of. Viva Argentina :)

Don't come here it was our first time and sad to say it will be our last. I can cook better with my feet. Much to be desired sorry but truth be told. Then they try to add a $16 dollar gratuity on top of our already over priced meal. My husband said take that shit off and we walked away without giving a tip. I mean my order was the worse out of my husband and son meals. Don't go here save your money and cook your own food at home for one hundred bucks you'll be happier you did my friend. My vegetables were from a bag and my salmon was soaked in a jar of apricot sauce so no I'm not happy. I walked away so disappointed. I told my husband to take us to our favorite place Chihuahua in Sunnyside NY so far they have been the best.

We spent last Sunday celebrating My Brother's Birthday. He likes play football, so we decided to go one restaurant associated with that. (We had never tasted the Argentine food). When we arrived they received so friendly. Food was delicious, especially types of steak. I got the chicken with champions and was amazing! Mashed potatoes at the perfect point, rice is ok. Our waiter was nice and kind. I think a good environment comes with good music, and this music was so cool! I Don't know about the likes of other people, but we love R&B/ Soul and Pop Music. We could speak with good tone, compared to other restaurants where the music is loud and rude, we have to shout. For sure We will come back to Boca!!!

I came here for the famous Argentinian steak and well I got what I wanted. Probably the best steak I ever had. A bit of walk from the subway station but it's definitely worth it if you're a steak lover.
