Delicious Argentinian food! I had been to the bakery before, so I was eager to try the restaurant portion of the business. The empanada and Langostinos were flavorful, and the bread was fresh. Loved the decor inside the restaurant as well. The staff was very friendly and checked on us often. We had a dinner reservation and the restaurant was busy when we walked in, so it took a while to get seated and have our orders taken. Our service became much faster as people finished their meals so it may have just been a staffing issue due to the dinner rush. This didn’t tarnish our experience at all and we would still love to come back and try more of the food.

Tried it for the first time. We ordered Appetizers rib eye roast with potatoes which was delicious. The calamari appetizer was dry so sent it back without a problem and got a new plate sent out that was cooked perfectly. My mushroom pasta was phenomenal which had more mushrooms than pasta!! My family ordered the skirt steak and instead of the fries mixed it up with grilled vegetables or mashed potatoes. Service was prompt and friendly. Ambiance was lovely.

What an hidden Jam! The atmosphere is beautiful and authentic! The food is flavorful, light and very delicious! Customer service is great consistently! Their appetizers are very delicious! We tried fried calamari and delicious empanadas. Steaks are well seasoned and served with incredible flavor bursting sauces! Just a great experience all the way through!

Went for Seattle Restaurant Week. Food was good. We got the Ribeye steak with potatoes as an appetizer and I got steak again for the entrée. I should have gotten the seafood paella as the entrée. The flan was fantastic. I have a sweet tooth, so the flan was definitely a score 👌

This was a great restaurant! We arrived at 5:30 and were one of 3 occupied tables. By 6:45, the place was packed! Service started out great but got worse the busier it got. My only other complaint is that it was oddly smokey and hazy in the restaurant which was not enjoyable. The food was delicious, my chicken was huge and we loved it, both cheesecake and chocolate cake were delightful. The raspberry topping is soooooo yummy!! We all loved our meals and will likely return!

Highly recommend their happy hour. Dos Rosas cocktail was wonderful. Had the chard & cheese and beef empanadas, so good - and shareable portions. The lomito sandwich was great as well. Will definitely be back!

Went here recently for Seattle Restaurant Week takeout, would not normally do SRW with takeout but COVID...It was also awesome that this place is honoring SRW menus on Fridays and Saturdays which is normally not the case, at least in the ‘before times’ same with being available for takeout. Anyway, my wife and I ordered 2 specials, one each, and got the steak and potato and shrimp apps, the chicken and paella mains, and the cake and flan desserts. It was all nicely plated, especially for being takeout in the takeout boxes. It all tastes amazing. The chicken was well cooked, as was the steak app. The paella was very flavorful with decent helping of seafood. The desserts were also both very good. The portion sizes were also reasonable for SRW. I know other places sometimes skimp on the portion for SRW, they seemed not to. I can’t speak much to their Covid precautions in the restaurant as I was only inside for a few min to pick up the order, though the employees I interacted with were wearing masks. Would come here again and try their regular menu!

Highly recommend! The appetizers were very tasty, especially the duo de chorizos and chicharron de ribeye, definitely try those two dishes! Everyone enjoyed their main course dishes as well. The service was great too. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Wow! Walking in felt like being transported to the charming living room of a pizza maestro uncle I wish I once knew. I kind of new before even eating the pie that it would defy any expectations I might have foolishly harbored. The staff were quite courteous and engaging. Full marks! Vibe - chill Fire - hot Pizza - To For!

We came on a Thursday night, and the staff were super nice. We got a booth! It's not the healthiest menu, but it definitely satisfies any steak or protein cravings. We got the mixed platter for two (the first thing on the menu), and our friend got the ribeye. IT WAS SO MUCH FOOD. We had enough leftovers for two more meals. Honestly, I think the mixed platter should be for four people. It was good! There were so many fries too, and we added an arugula salad. The decor had a lot of Maradona and Messi unsurprisingly, and the TV above the bar was showing soccer. The lighting and ambiance was very moody but cute. I'd recommend this place!

I'll admit - I haven't been eating out very often since I stopped eating meat and poultry. But I couldn't resist a happy hour invitation from my girls. The restaurant is very cute and the staff was nice. We arrived right at 5:00pm (HH start time) and were seated right away. The happy hour menu is the best bang for your buck! Here's a list of the food we ordered: - Empanadas (Chard & Cheese, and Corn) - Calamari - Ceviche Mixto - Pan con Chimichurri (not HH, but needed to try) For drinks, we got a couple rounds of the Boca Margarita (spicy, but not too spicy!), Fernet con Coca, and the Bombonera.

Came at dinnertime on Friday and waited a little bit to be seated at a table though bar seating was readily avail. Great atmosphere! Loved that the bartender whipped up a drink based off what flavor profile we were looking for. The server also sold me on their in house margarita thats jalapeno infused, which i do recommend! For food, got calamari, chicharrones, and some empanadas. Best was calamari, but I'd personally pass on getting the empanadas again.

Visiting from CA, and we couldn't have ended our trip on a better note. Dinner was delicious. The parrillada was $80 and feeds two, but it definitely feeds more than that. It was a lot of meat, but delicious as hell. This was worth more than $80 in my opinion. The drinks were refreshing. My bf had BOCA MARGARITA - Roasted jalapeño infused tequila, lime juice, agave. He loved it. I had DOS ROSAS - Vodka, rosewater & rosé syrup, lillet blanc, dolin blanc, lemon juice. I loved mine as well. We had 3 rounds of drinks. Apps: Beef empanadas 8/10 Chicharron de Rib Eye: 9/10 Entree: PARRILLADA - MIX GRILLED - FOR TWO - select mix of beef cuts, chicken lamb, and homemade sausages. 9/10 Dessert: TRES LECHES FLAN 12/10 Ambience:8/10 music wasn't too loud but it was a lil dark, so hard to see food in all its splendor. Service: 10/10 Overall dinner experience 9/10. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Tasty food and good selection of Happy Hour food and prices. Laver beer $5 and mildly spicy Boca Margarita $7 went well with the Kale & cheese empanadas. The Novacento salad was a perfect blend of fries, mixed greens and steak. The HH Lomito Sandwich (complete with fried egg) was delicious. Milanesa de Carne a Caballo was similar to those I had in Argentina. Service was friendly. Would have 5 stars if music was toned down- way to loud for conversation.

This is a review from Seattle restaurant week. Excellent value and quality!!! $35 for a 3 course meal with lots of quality protein and fantastic portions!! Our favorite dishes were the paella, skirt steak and shrimp appetizer. The flan was good with the dulce de leche! I think the vanilla ice cream with the whiskey shot was an acquired test but overall a good value. Highly recommend making a reservation online because the wait without a reservation was long. Also note the service was slightly overwhelmed with the volume but overall was polite and professional. Definitely worth a try! Looking forward to coming back to try the happy hour menu which looks like stellar values.

What this place has going for it: good location, very nice bartender/staff, fun ambience with lots of Argentinian newspaper/art/etc, and decent variety and menu of drinks/wine. I will say that I came in for a very light meal so we had a few glasses of wine and the octopus appetizer. I must say the octopus was SO soft, I'm not sure what the prep looks like but you could definitely tell that it had been tenderized quite well. The only thing that I didn't love about the octopus was that it was too salty for me (but my palette is sometimes a little lighter). I took the leftovers home and ate with bread to offset some of the saltiness. Great vibes, ambience, and nice for a few drinks and snacks. I'll have to try more to give a more holistic review but so far I was definitely pleased with my experience!

My group of 5 had a reservation for 6:15pm. We weren't seated until 7:15. Our host offered us one free drink each and a seat at the bar while we waited, which we accepted. Once we were finally seated, we ate our very average meal and were given a bill for $222 (including our 5 "free" drinks). When we disputed this, Hector at the bar came and told us we were "entitled", offered to call the police, and finally begrudgingly took the drinks off of our order. He also added a 20% gratuity without telling us. The most creepy part is that less than 5 minutes after this all happened, I received an Instagram follow request from BOCA on my private Instagram account that could only be known by searching the name on the credit card I paid with. I will never be back here again, and if you value your integrity and privacy, neither should you.

~Happy hour review~ We went here for happy hour right at opening time and we were able to easily get seated without reservations, but it is a small space. Happy hour might be the best time to experience the place as the value is just amazing. For example, you can get a $10 burger to be a super filling meal, or an $8 Chicharron de ribeye which is a large pot of meat and potatoes. Cocktails are $7 and are still impressive quality. I personally tried the Ginobili and Fernet Con Coca. Ginobili was a gin based cocktail and is a bit strong - personally not too big of a fan as it was not quite fruity. Fernet Con Coca was pretty good - I normally doubt mixing cocktails with soda, like rum and coke, but the Fernet branca made this drink quite special as it is quite herby. It is also one of their more popular drinks as this is an Argentinian place and the drink is Argentina's national drink. If you were to pick a cocktail, go with the Fernet Con Coca, even if the presentation is very simple. We tried the following dishes, shared family style: Empanadas (2 pc) - beef, chard & cheese - the empanadas were quite big and is great to share. Beef is the ground beef but very flavorful. Chard (swiss chard) and cheese is an interesting combination that works quite well, and is a great vegetarian option. On the side is chimichurri sauce which has a lot of herbs. Rabas (calamari) - comes with 2 dipping sauces, and the calamari itself is nicely salted and flavorful. I personally like the chimichurri aioli that went with it, and the leftover sauces from the calamari were used to dip with fries in the burger / sandwich dishes we ordered. Chicharron de ribeye - one of the better valued items in the happy hour menu! You get generous amounts of ribeye from a decent cut (though there are some fatty chunks that you can get rid of) along with potatoes and lots of garlic and chimichurri. One order of this is already enough for a meal, so if you only want to order one thing, then this is the dish to order. Ceviche mixto - a bit lacking but can't really complain as they give a lot of seafood for $9. Something like this for slightly better quality elsewhere in Seattle at a sit down restaurant would be twice this price, so it does a decent job satisfying the ceviche cravings. The corn is not really crunchy or hard, and did not give much flavor to the dish. Lomito sandwich - an interesting take of a "burger." Instead of regular beef patty, you get 2 thin slices of sirloin steak which may be a bit tough to bite but that is the texture of the cheaper steak cut. It comes with fries which we used to dip into the sauces provided in the calamari, as noted above. Service is decent and the food is overall fantastic especially for the value. I might go back to try their regular menu, though it can be a bit pricey - but they do honor the 10% off coupon if you Yelp check-in - you just cannot apply this promotion for happy hour which makes a lot of sense.

Just an ok experience overall. This was the second time at BOCA for SRW, but first time at this location. On the plus side, we were able to get seated easily without a reservation at around 9pm on a Friday night - despite it being restaurant week. The restaurant week options lacked a bit of variety.. for instance steak and potatoes showed up as both an appetizer and an entree. Also hardly a good value depending on what you order when compared to the regular menu pricing. They also were out of all of the dessert options but managed to sub the chocolate cake in after all. We started with the langostinos al ajillo (shrimp) and beet salad and had two orders of the churrasco top sirloin with chimichurri and fries. The shrimp was good but it would have been great to have some more bread to soak up the sauce. The steak was okay, but the combination of chimichurri and salty fries was just too salty overall, especially for such a thin cut. It is a cute and cozy space, service was friendly, and the cocktails are great. The food is good but nothing to write home about and I personally enjoyed the food at the other location more. The service was also a bit weird- the server was nice but not really attentive (we wanted another round of drinks but never got around to ordering them) and he also tried to clear unfinished plates a couple times. I would skip it for a future SRW and open yourself up to more options for about the same value. I'm a big fan of Argentinian food and will keep looking in Seattle, but still worth a casual dinner or date night, cheers!

Great service and food. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and all the side items we got complemented each other. The chimichurri had great flavor but needed just a pinch of salt. Would definitely come back the next time we are in Seattle.

That one time I went for Seattle Restaurant Week's 3 course meal at this Argentinian restaurant and gluttonously ordered steak and potatoes with chimichurri for 2 of the courses. I both did and did not regret that choice, all at the same time. Perhaps more enjoyable than the meal was the unmistakable stench of urine coming through the window behind me, courtesy of a street dweller. The restaurant was super nice about it though and made every effort to disinfect and rid the smell while we were there

This review is for the Boca Happy Hour. The bartender was very friendly and mindful of my food allergies. The chicarron de ribeye was delicious and reasonable priced! I enjoyed the cheese and corn empanada as well. The texture of the dessert crepe was perfect - crispy along the edges and soft in the middle. It was very, very sweet, though. I think it might go better with some coffee.

food: this was my first time trying Argentina food and i have to say I've really enjoyed most of dishes here! For appetizer, i had the langostinos el ajios (shrimp with perhaps butter garlic sauce?) this was delicious and the flavor was great! For my entree, i got the churrasco (steak with fries and salads) -- the salad was great and loved the dressing on it, fries could have been crispier, and the streak was a little too dry for me but seasoned well. Lastly, for dessert i got the deluce de leche flan which was absolutely amazing! This was probably my favorite haha Service: was a little slow but i think that was due to understaffed that day. They tried to get the food out as fast as possible. I would recommend booking a reservation for dine in here as this place gets pretty packed during dinner time and not a guarantee seating. Parking: no parking at this location. You can find street parking down the road or in the residential areas 2 streets back. I really liked the indoor deco designed of this place! Very cute and they had a bar area as well.

Stopped by BOCA for happy hour on Friday - we arrived right at 5pm, and although there was no one in the restaurant, they said they only had space for us to sit at the bar. The decor of this place was cute and the restaurant had cool vibes. There were three of us and we split a pitcher of the white wine peach clerico, calamari, ceviche, mussels, and ribeye chunks with potatoes. All the portions were good sized especially for happy hour prices! The sangria was very very sweet but also very strong. The waiter said it was a classic Argentinian drink so we decided to try it despite his warning that it was very sweet. The calamari was yummy and came with two dipping sauces. The ceviche was a little watery and came with large chunks of fish, but not a lot of veggie. It was very lemony. The mussels were served with a garlic white wine + parsley sauce with bread on the side. Ribeye chunks with potatoes was very good too - the ribeye had a nice marinade although the meat was kind of tough. The bill ended up being $23 per person for some happy hour food and drinks including tax and tip. I probably would have ordered another item or two off the happy hour menu if this were to be a full meal. Although I am not sure I would come here for non happy hour - the entrees and regular menu seems a little pricy.

The good: Decent portion size and quality (Asado sandwich), ambience, and free sparkling water & drip coffee refills. The bad: lack of disclosure regarding 2.5% credit card surcharge despite telling them it's my firs time and odd self service concept despite bringing dish to you that yet I had to grab my own utensils and napkin that were out of the way.

4/5 Was walking around exploring Capitol Hill, Seattle & came across this restaurant. We heard the great music and smelt the delicious food & decided to stop by. Empanadas starters were good. My favorite was the cheese pan! It's an appetizer and split between 3 of us. I wanted to hog the entire plate! Steak was delicious! Came with salad and fries. Things were more on the spendy side, but I didn't mind. Service was great and music was wonderful. It was a vibe!

3.5. It should (and could) have been great...but wasn't. Atmosphere: I was transported. Loud Latino music with beats. Beautiful and clean interior. It was clearly the party everyone wanted to be at. 5 stars. Food and drinks: Everything I wanted had "just sold out" by the time we got to order. (Tip: go earlier for octopus and skirt steak). I had the short ribs, which was too tough to enjoy. Partner had the ribeye, which he liked. Salad was good though. As was the wine. Service: Complicated. Our waiter and the host/manager were friendly and warm, which made me like them even when nothing went right. We weren't greeted for 10-15 min. We were seated an hour after our reservation time. They let us finish our meal while they closed down, which is nice, but I would have loved to have eaten before 10pm. (Tip: they don't look at open table for reservations after 3 pm so just walk in!) Verdict: Had I been hungry, I would have been pissed. But for a fun vibe and nice staff, I'm leaving with good enough memories to say I would go back for the atmosphere/drinks and maybe to give them a 2nd chance on the food...

I'm a fan of Argentinian food... and loved my visit to the Boca location in Pioneer Square, so I had high expectations for this dinner visit at the Broadway location. The canelones were good, as were the empanadas. Service was not the best and they weren't super busy so that was strange. We'll be back to give them another try.

Since we've moved to seattle, we've been looking for a good stake and also a good price (which is hard to find). Last minute this place pooped up on our phone while searching a place to eat before going dancing and we decided to give a go! First, we loved what we read on the menu online & the pictures where amazing The vibe is great, it's does not feel like a restaurant per se. You have the lights, the bar is amazing, with the music and obviously the soccer game! So, the wait for the food was a but too much, there were only two waiters & our waiter was the bartender. It tipped me off that the only side with the food were French Fries and/or salad (we've been to many Argentine Restaurants (back home in Puerto Rico) & the variety of sides is more- Like Arroz Provenzal, Papas a la crema, Champiñones al vino etc)... I mean they were really good (too salty for out taste, but good)... The steak was GREAT AMAZING WOW - they were perfectly cooked, not burned, not raw just wow & the Arugula salad was surprisingly great! My drink was good, tasted like lemonade for my taste buds, but it was good! I picked 4 starts because I would've loved more variety on the sides and not wait too much to order my food! We had a 10% discount for checking in on Yelp and nobody knew what to do, so they discounted my drink all is good there! Will definitely recommend! we will be going back and will update my review

Have stopped in for a casual drink, happy hour, dinner and no matter the reason it's always been a delight! Enjoy their service and food quality. Expresso martinis are on point!

Great place for Argentinian food, and tapas. Super authentic, and very attentive friendly service. Came here for dinner one night and it was a very pleasant experience. Ordered three of the tapas items. They do have a really good happy hour menu where many of the tapas items are discounted. I got two empanadas, one beef, and one of the chard and cheese. Surprisingly enough the chard and cheese was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The chimichurri ribeye was ok, The meat was slightly over cooked and a bit chewy. Flavor was great. I also got the sweet bread, which is super authentic and hard to find in restaurants. The portion size was really good, but the food came out really really salty, so I had to keep gulping down water. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake with dolce leches, that was very interesting, the filling in between was delicious, but the cake itself was a bit dry. Service was great! Prices are very reasonable. 10% off with yelp check in. Definitely recommend this place!

BOCA, Golazo!! We tried this place out for restaurant week, and it certainly did not disappoint. As an Argentina soccer fan, I definitely appreciated the wall decor and ambiance, as the decor were great tributes to the likes of Messi and Maradona. I ordered (for restaurant week): Langostinos (shrimp dish) Chicharron (ribeye cubes) Churrasco (sirloin steak) Tres Leches flan Across all dishes, the FLAVORS WERE AMAZING! The highlights definitely were the appetizers. Another plus: they accidentally gave me a Chicharron dish when I actually ordered the Langostinos, and they gave it to me on the house! +1 for service! The meat was flavored so well in the chicharron, and although some pieces were a bit tough, they had some fat on top that made it so delectable and delicious. It was beautifully paired with the potatoes to make such a good dish. Highlight: the Langostinos! Definitely a must order, must must must x3. The shrimp were so good and the lemon added a great acidic kick to it. And the bread was so good, especially when dipped in the broth. I'm still thinking about that bread... The Churrasco was really good too, flavored beautifully with chimichurri sauce. I just wished the chimichurri was a bit stronger, but the sauce and the steak was such a good match. The fries were really solid too. The flan was alright in my opinion, but the rest of the food (especially the appetizers) definitely made my night. In all, what a great feast! I felt like I was whisked back to the streets of Buenos Aires, and the flavor profiles were phenomenal. Easy 5/5, and if I need an Argentinian fix, I sure know where to go.

Wow, just wow! This place exceeded all of my expectations. We love South American food and this place was delicious. Our drinks were amazing and our server Enrique gave us a great experience.

My first time eating out after the long break of dining in during the pandemic and im glad i picked a winner. This place is small and very intimate. I enjoyed the decor and chandelier that gives it a nice touch. Most of all, the good was amazing! Had the chicken and opten for the cheese with red sauce instead of eggs and it was a good combo. The service was quick and the place looks clean and sanitized after. Kudos for keeping everyone safe.

What a great find! A small place but the service and the food were simply amazing! Wow! This is definitely a place I would love to come back to. We had the whole kaboodle! From appetizers to dessert! They did not disappoint! The waiter we had was super nice! Very attentive and suggested some amazing food! Try them and they will not disappoint!! I can't remember the names but it looks like anything we tried tasted great!!!

The food and drinks at BOCA are incredible. I got the arugula salad and lasagna verde for dinner, as well as the borracho cocktail. Loved all of it. Ambiance is great as well. However, the service was less than ideal. We had to flag the server down multiple times to order more drinks and there were times when we would order more drinks and he would forget to bring them out. Our food orders got messed up multiple times as well. Not sure if it was just an off night for them, but their service needs a lot of improvement. If it weren't for their food and drink being incredible, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. So hats off to the chef!

We came for restaurant week and for $35 the food and portion size did not disappoint! In addition to the options we chose off the restaurant week menu we also ordered the corn and beef empanadas. Highly recommend these! Apps: Langostinos al ajillo and Chicharron de ribeye. The shrimp dish was better of the two. The sauce was amazing and is served with bread to dip. Entrees: seafood paella and churrasco. The paella was very tasty and had generous portions of seafood the churrasco was very tender Dessert: chocolate cake and flan. Both very good! The flan was different and not quite like the traditional flan that I've had. Service: at the beginning it took a while for someone to come and give us water and ask for our drink order. However as the night went on the sever that had become our main sever was great

Boy this place has gone down hill since most of their original staff left. I came here with a friend a couple months back and sat at the bar for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. I almost wrote a review then cause I was really disappointed but decided not to before trying them again. Sorry to say but I came back last night with a friend around 9pm (closes at 10pm) and were told by the bartender we had 3 minutes to order (not really the way you want to be greeted by the bartender). This time it wasn't really so much the service but the food...talk about salty! The steak and frites were overwhelmingly salty, not sure if it was because we were the last to order. Overall disappointing experience yet again, I don't really see myself coming back here anymore.

After my sons Graduation from UDUB, our party was famished after a 4 hour commencement at Husky Stadium. Took the link to Capitol Hill and walked in without a reservation. The waiter took us in, a party of 7. And said we had to be out by 7:30pm which was 2 hours away. That's plenty of time! Perfect! No wait after a graduation of 7000 students and guests? Fantastic, ready for this? It was happy hour, so calamari, burger fries, ribeye steak chunks in a skillet, $8-$12 each! Score! We ordered pretty much everything in the happy hour menu times 2. Bill was $158 plus tip and we were stuffed and very satisfied. Wonderful! Would Live to go back, but son graduated so no need to see Seattle anytime soon, but I highly recommend the steak chunks on happy hour menu, but everything was good. Also the owner was walking around helping out making sure everyone was happy. Good to see that these days.

Solid dinner spot! Friends and I went axe throwing in Cap Hill and were in need of food. Luckily, BOCA Restobar was close by and had plenty of open seats when we called, score! We were quickly seated and ordered drinks. I had the Clerico, which is a peachy white wine sangria. It was so sugary, definitely too sugary. Switched over to red wine after. Maybe the regular sangria would've been a better choice. To be fair, our server did warn me that it was sweet... We ordered a bunch of things to share: Ceviche, Empanadas, Octopus, salads, meats, and pastas. It was all delicious and we gobbled it right up. Service was a tad slow, but the food was tasty and the ambience was wonderful. Had a really nice time and would definitely come back!

I dont know man, been here 3 times and it's just not an enjoyable experience. 1st time, the food was good, but service was slow and inattentive. 2nd and 3rd time food was bland and service has gotten much worse. There are better options in Cap Hill, for similar or better prices too.

I love BOCA! Food was good today, but our bread came burnt. The server was able to replace it for free though. Our favorite was the mussels! The sauce it comes with is perfect with the bread.

We ordered SRW dinner and I chose Churrasco, Langostinos Al Ajillo and flan. The food was so good!! We also ordered a pitcher of sangria, which is just for four people. The atmosphere is great but the music was a bit too loud and and I couldn't hear my friends clearly sometimes... Overall I like this place a lot and will definitely come back!

Went here 2 times once for restaurant week and another time just on a Monday night. It was packed during restaurant week so getting a table was difficult but coming on Monday we were able to make reservations just a few hours before. Our table ordered multiple appetizers and shared. We ordered the mussels, shrimp, ribeye, and bread appetizers. The bread was nice, soft, and warm and the chimey churry sauce served had so much tangy flavor! This sauce was also served with the ribeye along side another veggie sauté sauce. The ribeye was a bit chewy to eat and a bit salty but still one of the better appetizers of the night. The shrimp tasted fishy and was hard to chew but the sauce it came in was seasoned really well! The mussels were also hard, chewy, and fishy so wasn't a big fan of those either. Overall not the best quality of dishes but really like the pricing! The flan was also just okay and not as soft and smooth as I expect flan to be. The service isn't the best. We ordered the ribeye as an appetizer and I guess they heard us a wrong and brought us the sirloin entree. We decided to take the entree but then found the steak being really raw and had to return it to them but they were able to substitute it for the ribeye appetizer. The waiter wasn't too happy about it but happy they were able to exchange it for the appetizers! But the waiters take a while to get to your table as it seems there aren't that many so they are busy. I would definitely come again as it wasn't that expensive but don't set your expectations to high!

I went here recently to celebrate my friend's birthday. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and thought the food was pretty good, but the service was awful. Our group didn't feel welcomed at all. We had requested a pitcher of their white wine sangria and the server came out with a red sangria instead. After tasting it and realizing that it wasn't the drink we ordered, we flagged it to the server and he said that they ran out of the white and he gave us the red instead..... I really wish he inquired with us before he made the executive decision to give us something we did not want and ultimately did not like. After expressing our disappointment, he just shrugged it off. It was not taken off the bill and we wasted $25. It was a pretty shitty dining experience to say the least.

Delicious! Would I say this is the most authentic Argentinian restaurant? No. But the food was still terrific! We got the empanada sampler, Rib Eye Chicharron and milanesa de Pollo. You can't go wrong with any of the empanadas, the stuffing is great in each. As much as I don't like swiss chard, I still loved the empanada. I did find the dough on them to be a little chewy, but didn't bother me much. The meat in both of our dishes were great. Juicy and tender with loads of flavor. The entree was huge came with fries and the arugula salad. The chicken was basically spilling over the plate. We got it with red sauce and mozzarella so it tasted very similar to chicken parmesan. Their service was so friendly and quick. Definitely would come again and highly recommend!

The decor or this restaurant is so really cool and cute. My boyfriend and I shared the following tapas: chicharron de ribeye, ceviche mixture, arroz con marisco and rabas - calamari. At first I thought the 4 plates wouldn't be enough but I found myself surprisingly full at the end. You get a decent/nice sized portion for the price, especially the arroz con marisco. I really enjoyed all of the plates. There was only the bartender and a waitress. We came in before it got really busy. Service was good considering how busy it was with only 2 people working. Boca is a cute place and I'd come back for an entree if we didn't live across the country!

Lovely little place, food was delicious and not overpriced. A little loud but fine for our party of 6, a mix of teens and adults. Would not recommend for young kids. I loved my salad with fries, steak and avocados. Sounds weird but totally worked! Empanadas were good, plus I loved my drink. It was white wine with a peach slurry and fruit.

What a great place! A bit of Argentina in Seattle. We were originally headed to Witness, but it was super busy. So, we ducked into BOCA for lunch. Glad we did. You should too. This is like a well run, small restaurant on the side streets in some nice neighborhood (one of many) in Buenos Aires. The menu options are great. Pretty much everything from street food (choripan--delicous!!!) to full on Argentinian entrees. Lovely empanadas. And they serve mate! In a mate with a metal straw! Desert was also very satisfying and delicious. Service is warm, friendly, and attentive. And the owner's in the house. We loved this place and will return. There is so much more of the menu that we must explore!

BOCA's happy hour is the best bang for your buck. The price and quality of food is second to none, especially being in the heart of the city, Capitol Hill. My friend and I ordered the calamari, chicharon de ribeye, chicken empanadas, arugula salad, 2 ginobli cocktails, and a pitcher of sangria all for ~$85. Anywhere else in cap hill, the total would've been well over $120. Not only was the food delicious and affordable, but the service was exceptional. Hector, our server/bartender impressively managed the entire restaurant on his own while maintaining the utmost customer service. This is officially my new favorite happy hour spot!

Came here while on vacation and most of the meal was amazing. The decor and whole vibe of the place was dope, the salsa playing on the speakers really set the atmosphere. We had quite a few tapas and they were all so good! Especially the seafood with saffron rice. The cocktails were all really solid and not too sweet. The only downfall was the bone in 40 oz ribeye. The kids even had high expectations for this. We ordered it medium rare and it was definitely not, super rare which is usually fine for us but not of the fat rendered leaving many chewy parts that were not edible. The steak was also charred to a crisp on the outside, I'm not talking a good Mallard crust, I'm talking grill was way too hot and it got burnt. I usually love a char even if it's Almost burnt, not the case here unfortunately. I could've complained but I'm not that kind of guy, the server was amazing and I wasn't going to ruin anyone's night by making them refire an 80$ steak. My advice would be turn the grill down and temp everything, it would've made this a perfect meal. All in all we will 100% be back, amazing tapas! Bonus points for our server sending us home with some of their pastries from next door, they were excellent!

We had a really nice time at BOCA. The empanadas were very solid, as was the chimichurri that was served with it. The mains were very good too. It's definitely a loud environment, but good ambiance for a night out. They were having a busy night for sure, so service was a bit spotty, but overall would recommend this place! Unfortunately they did not check vaccine cards.

Had to try this place my Argentinean friend is always raving about... did not disappoint! I plan to never eat again- so full. Rich, flakey, romantic, layers of love...I felt like I was on holiday in Sea Town. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful milling about on lap tops drinking coffee. Counter service is clean and quick. Coffee, pastries, wine, espresso, breads, pizza's and so much more.

My boss recently retired and this was the place that she wants to go. So I was task with organizing the event for a group of 20 folks. Throughout the process, Marco has made it so easy and painless. He even allowed us to check in an hour early than planned. I appreciate that he touch based with me throughout the process. Happy Hour here is superb! On the daily, it runs until 6:30p. Very well portioned and flavorful. Don't judge me, but I practically ordered half the HH menu. What can I say? It was reasonable! That's my story and I'm sticking to that. Haha Our server was awesome! I would definitely come back and recommend this place. Marco and his team definitely made us feel welcomed. *two thumbs up*

This was a great Seattle Restaurant Week find. Boca has 2 locations, I chose the Broadway location because I liked their restaurant week options better and from pictures the decor was super cute. For 1st course, I got the langoustines the garlic white wine sauce was soo good I could have just eaten that and the bread all by itself. For the main course I got the churrasco. The steak was tender and fries were super yummy. For dessert I had the chocolate cake but it was more like a fudgy torte. I would highly recommend Boca!

I visited this place the last time I was in Seattle and it was pretty good! The ambiance was fun and had a great vibe to it. Food: I got the churrasco and thought it was delicious ! It came with the steak, fries, and a chimichurri sauce. We also tried the empanada platter and all of them were quite good. Location: this place is in Capitol Hill so it can definitely get crowded. Don't be surprised if you drive around looking for a parking spot. The aspects that I didn't like, which is why I took a star off, was 1) the service was super slow. We often had to wait or call over our waiter to get some service. 2) the prices on Yelp were different from the prices on the menu which were different from what we were charged. Overall, it was maybe $4 per plate extra than what was listed which I didn't think was right. Pro-tip: check in for a 10% discount.
