Thank you for taking good care of us! Brian the owner made sure with our Exotic car group we were well taken care of to get in fast and experience very tasty food, this is tough to do with a group of 20! Our servers Dylan and Carlos, fast and efficient! I had the Bocado Burget Stack amazingly tasty Burger! Love the bread and butter pickles on there! The GM Charles was very supportive on helping us to have a great experience. Thank you! Great way to start our trip!

The burgers are halal! All the ingredients are locally sourced and it’s a family owned business! Service was great! The meat is very juicy! The southwestern burger could’ve used some more salt since there’s so much avocado but with some ketchup it was perfect! Give you loads of fries! The bathroom area smelled a little bad so I’m concerned for their plumbing.

Where are we eating today?

Google
The service was excellent, we were served very quickly. The young man who attended us was super friendly and attentive. We ordered brussels sprouts which were delicious. We ordered a THE DOWN SOUTH hamburger, pimento cheese, poblano pepper, bacon, fried green tomato, spicy mayonnaise. The truth is that I would not ask for it, I did not feel that the flavors stood out, only the poblano pepper was the one that stood out. The truth is that I would not ask for it even though its presentation is very striking. We ordered BACON BEER CHEESE BURGER Guinness and smoked gouda cheese sauce, bacon jam, but no vegetables. this was delicious. This one just felt the gouda beer cheese but didn't feel the bacon jam at all. but it was delicious. We love the truffle fries, we loved them. not all of us are going to have an excellent experience of places where we are not going to have the same expectations. I think the burgers still need more strength.

My husband and I were out at Avalon one night and were in the mood for a burger. We decided to give Bocado a try since it had good reviews and we were in the area. Walked in and were told the wait was 20 minutes. After an hour, we were finally seated. I normally wouldn’t mind waiting, especially since most places are under staffed, but I had our baby with us and to be off by that much seems excessive. Had we known the wait was 3x longer than quoted, we would have come back another time. After being seated, we waited some time before the waiter came by. We put in our order immediately. Positive note, the fried green tomatoes we ordered were fantastic and the best thing we ate. (Reason for the two star over the one) However, we were given plastic takeout silverware to eat it with since they ran out regular? While other tables around us had regular silverware. Our burgers were just ok. I ordered the southwest burger, which was VERY bland. No heat or spice. My husband got the Avalon burger and said it was nothing special. We split some sweet potties fries. While good, it looked like we got the bottom of the barrel on options. When you pay a $4 up charge to get fries, you would think you would get better options than the half burnt leftovers. We also ordered cocktails. While they seemed to have a heavy hand on the pour (another reason for two stars over one), they weren’t all that great either. They also came out as we were getting our food since the only bartender was also waiting tables. Overall: there are much better sit down burger options in the area, especially for the price (almost $20 for a burger and fries) and the wait.

Google
I had the double patty burger. Not the best I have had in this area at this price range. I am still hungry after the burger. Ingredients are mostly fresh, the meat itself was somewhat dry for a recently cooked burger, unless it was sitting waiting to be placed on a bun. Also tasted the sweet potato fries they are good, but a very low quantity serving. We had to clean our table before sitting we also waited longer to get our credit cards back than the time it took to get our food.

Fortunately for me, the service and food was great! The burgers were so good! I wasn't even hungry but I polished my burger (originally wanted 1 patty but decided to go with the standard 2 instead and I'm glad I did) off and the fries were delicious. I got the avalon burger and it was so damn buttery good. I can see about why the previous reviewers complained about the smell but honestly, you only smell it when you first walk in and it might not be the restaurant's fault. Overall, the burgers were scrumptious. Don't always listen to the bad reviews and give this place a try!

Google
We finally made our way around right at opening today. It sits next to an Arhous so we thought it would be a higher prices boutique burger place. BUT, we were pleasantly surprised that the prices were very reasonable. Aside from some cursive writing on the menu that's a little hard to read, we had no complaints at all. I opted for the Bacon Beer Cheese Burger. Their burgers are smash burger style and stacked. Mine was a triple stack with Guinness smoked Gouda cheese sauce and bacon jam with a side of herb fries. Their soda dispenser was on the fritz so we stuck with waters, which was fine. My burger with fries was about $15. The burger was very juicy and flavorful. I bit in to it and juices just flowed out and down my hands. So keep a napkin or three handy. 👍 The building is set up so that the big garage doors open so the place gets a lot of fresh air. They also do milkshakes. But we were so full we chose to skip that this time around. Might stop by another time just for shakes though.

Google
Great staff Great location. We had to sit outside because the smell inside was horrible. When we asked the server, we were told that everyone had told the owner about this and he didn't care. That was a red flag for me if the owner don't care... the hamburgers used to be amazing but now i can do better at my house. I have been to this location before ( multiple times) I don't think I will be back any time soon.

Yelp
On the expensive side, but a quality burger option Bocado in Avalon offers halal beef burgers (prepared and cooked separately), so we decided to check them out. The inside is medium-sized, but they have a lot of outside seating as well. The food was average wait time. We ordered the Avalon burger, fries, shrimp po'boy, and the kid cheeseburger. The Avalon burger was really fresh, flavorful, and overall, an above average burger. It's on the smaller size, but you can taste the beef patty flavor as soon as you take a bite. I like that they didn't overload or cover up the natural patty flavor. The fries were a hit or miss. Some plates had okay fries, while others had the small, mostly burnt pieces. The kid cheeseburger had the same level of freshness, but with just one patty and no toppings. The po'boy was a pass. Shrimp was okay, but it was hard to eat, and had no sauce in it. insta reviews: @dfweatshalal

Yelp
This is a great place for an overpriced burger and a tacky dining room. All the 9th graders having their moms take them to Avalon for the day will probably eat the place up but the burger is sub par. No love. Servers are always kind of passive aggressive and the inside doesn't know what it's trying to be. Overall ehh.

Yelp
As per the AJC the restaurant is set to close on 1/2/2024. Sad to see them go, as they were on my list as top 3 burgers in Atlanta. I had to see the Atlanta location close, and now this. Looking forward to see what the brand will do next in Sandy Springs.

Yelp
This place is just okay. I came here because I heard good things about their burgers and heard they offer halal burgers too. The service was just okay. They acted a little weird when I wanted to clarify about the halal meat - but one of the servers finally confirmed. I don't think all staff is knowledgeable about what they offer. It took a long time for the burgers to come out. In the end they were just okay. My cousins from Canada were unimpressed and I would say it doesn't really have anything special over other halal or non-halal burgers out there. This place was a bit of a drive for me and unfortunately it didn't make any impression on me food-wise or service-wise, so it is unlikely I'll come back. Maybe if I'm ever in the area I'll give it another try.

Yelp
3.75 stars--Random L u n c h Stop- Went here with a group of friends as we shopped the Avalon . Was a group of 8, on a Saturday. We were seated promptly, even though we had no reservations. Server was polite & attentive. Most of the table ordered burgers & fries, as the menu wasn't super lengthy. All agreed that burgers were okay. Nothing to brag Home about. Truffle fries were quite tasty. As were the fried green tomatoes. Beverage choices were basic & bottled. Did not try alcoholic beverages. Parking was plentiful. Prices were decent. Service was good. Nothing spectacular. I personally didn't find the menu desirable. Others enjoyed! Overall a good visit.

Yelp
Food: Veggie burger 4/10 it wasn't a solid patty so it kept breaking into pieces every time i tried to eat it, the taste of it was very bland. The salad as a side was a nice touch, the fries are cut potatoes but mine were fried to hard in my opinion. The bbq sauce is nasty fyi Service: Cool dudes work here Ambiance: Modern Farm House

Yelp
My sister and I came in last week for dinner. It was a Thursday night around 6. We made a reservation. It wasn't crowded when we arrived. Our waitress came over pretty quickly. We just stuck with water for drinks. We ordered a burger and the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The burger came out quickly, but they forgot about the Brussels sprouts so those took a long while to arrive. Everything was so delicious though. The burger was juicy and so flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were incredible as well and cooked to perfection.

Yelp
I remember the Bocado that was ITP. I remember the excellence that was their burger, and the yummy element of discovery that was in the other dishes they prepared. I'm not encountering the same spirit at this location. Don't get me wrong, Bocado is good, but it's no longer blowing up my skirt. I've been to this location a handful of times to meet friends for dinner. The location is convenient. There is generally plenty of parking, and we've never had to wait too long for a table, though Bocado can certainly get busy in a hurry, especially during the warmer months. The Bocado burger, which used to be their claim to fame, now seems sort of average. Maybe I've just become used to it. The Brussels sprouts are excellent. But overall the menu just feels like it's missing some things. And the wait staff works VERY hard to make sure you're having a great time. But perhaps they're understaffed, because in at times the service is slow. Also the chairs are exceedingly uncomfortable, and the acoustics make conversing difficult. And my wife says the bathrooms are a wreck--dirty and under-supplied. I'm not saying don't go to Bocado. I am hoping they can fix a few things that need some attention.

Yelp
This review is for the "revamp" of the restaurant as the full service Bocado concept, not the previous "fast casual" Bocado Burger Bar. First, the restaurant did not honor my OpenTable reservation - I stood there waiting for 10 minutes while the hostess was supposedly "printing menus" and 2 other staff members tried checking me in also and then left - and was told that they were understaffed and I'd have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated which was fine, and I was directed to the bar. Other people in line behind me were I guess also told they were on a wait and some left and some stayed. A party that stayed was then called to be seated before me even though they had showed up about 15 minutes after I did (and I was already 30 min past my reservation time), so I went back up to the stand to see what was up and they finally seated us. They clearly were understaffed for the amount of people there and the kitchen seemed to be totally disorganized. People who came in and were seated after me received their food not only before me but also before a number of large parties who had been there even before I was there. When I finally got my burger and fries, it was fine. The bun was a bit greasier than I'd like but it was definitely still edible. It took about 25 minutes to finally get my bill and pay. I was honestly wondering if anyone who worked there would have noticed if I'd just gotten up and left without paying, but after a few attempts of asking different staff for the check one of them finally brought it. The real dealbreaker is that the place is SO LOUD even at the end of my meal when the place was empty - I could barely hear myself think, let alone have a conversation without raising my voice to be heard across my table. The restaurant management really needs to do something about the staffing issue and get a more efficient workflow going, because everyone seemed to be working really hard but it wasn't really showing up in the flow of service, and that's not fair to the staff. Finally, the restaurant really needs to do something about the noise level. I feel bad for the people working there because at the end of the day I don't see how all of them can't have a splitting headache from the amount of noise. I won't be back and I don't recommend this place - it's just not an enjoyable dining experience.

Yelp
2.5 stars rounded up to 3.... If I could sum my experience up into one word it would be "meh". We made the trek to Alpharetta since the Bocado restaurant in Atlanta closed. We were huge fans of their burgers. The strawberry margarita was delicious. We ordered the wings for an appetizer and they were cool flavor wise, but the portion was very small. They messed up my fiancé's order and i had to send my truffle fries back because they were cold. The bun on my burger was hard and I had to tear sections of it off. The service was fairly lackluster and the restaurant had a weird smell as well. Although I have fond memories of the previous Bocado, I can't see myself ever returning here.

Yelp
My friend and I had an early Saturday dinner at Bocado. We had a reservation, but it wasn't necessary as there were only two other parties in the dining room. Cool vibe and eclectic aesthetic. Unfortunately, there was a funky, sour scent that hit us like a ton of bricks when we entered the restaurant. Our server was friendly but wasn't very attentive. She checked on us only once after ordering and bringing our food to the table. I could have used a refill of my beverage. I had the BLT burger with fries, and we shared an appetizer of calamari. The burger was good, and the fries were delicious. The calamari was bland and less than crispy. Overall, the food was good, but the service was just average. On the way out, I noticed they lit incense presumably to cover the bad smell.

Yelp
I came here with my sister on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was pretty much empty, despite the Avalon being such a busy and happening area, so maybe that should've been my first red flag. Immediately upon entering, we noticed a terrible stench, it smelled like a sewer pipe has busted. For that reason, we chose to sit outside. It was a little warm outside, and they didn't have the ceiling fans turned on, so we felt hot. Our server (Heather R.) came and brought us some waters and said she would be back. When she came back to us, she didn't ask us about drinks or starters, went just straight into taking our entree order, which is unusual, but I can overlook it. I had checked in on Yelp prior to being seated, and I received a Yelp offer for free fries. I told her I wanted to redeem the offer during that visit, but since my entree already came with fries, she offered to give me a side of fries to-go. I was fine with this. Finally she took our food order. I got the Avalon Burger and my sister got the same. The food came out fast. Fries were not good. Burger was EXTREMELY GREASY. I'm talking dripping in oil. This made the burger nasty. All I could focus on was the amount of oil that was dripping off the burger. So ridiculous. After eating, we got the bill and to no surprise it was $50 (again, only for 2 people... all we ordered was 2 entrees and 2 sodas). It was extremely expensive for the lackluster food we got. She also never gave me my fries she promised me that was a part of the Yelp check-in offer. I don't understand why restaurants will offer Yelp users deals and then not live up to their word when a user actually tries to use the deal. I don't ever recommend anyone coming here, it'll just be a waste of money and time. Terrible food, terrible smell coming from the establishment, and terrible service.

Yelp
My husband and I are always on the lookout for a good burger spot and Bocado did not disappoint. I ordered the Avalon burger with regular fries and he ordered the Bocado Burger Stack with truffle fries. We both enjoyed our burgers - the meat was tender and juicy and flavorful. My burger was saucier and therefore more tasty, as compared to the burger stack which was more dry and had less veggies. We only tried the beef burgers - as those are the only halal options (meat supplied by Creekstone). We also tried the tomato bisque, which was subtle and delicious. I had wanted to try the house lemonade but unfortunately they were out. I tried the lime and yuzu drink instead, which was a refreshing palate cleanser between bites. The service was friendly and very helpful in providing recommendations. The ambience was definitely fitting for a burger joint, with comfortable and aesthetically appealing booth seats. Overall, I enjoyed this experience and would come back here!

Sandi S.

Yelp
A great place to get a nice burger and a generous amount of fries. I had the burger with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions. It was delicious and the fries were good, nothing exceptional but good fries. We had very good service and it was an enjoyable lunch. I'll go back again.

Travis C.

Yelp
I got the Bocado burger with a Gate City beer from Roswell. The burger itself was very good ($17.50). It was juicy and cooked well. Fries on the other hand were well below par. They tasted like a dry potato with no flavor. Definitely wouldn't recommend the fries. The beer was fine, probably wouldn't get again. Service was fine, and atmosphere is higher scale for sure. It's part of what you pay for.

Yelp
Bocado burger has been on our list for quite some time. Located in the Avalon, Bocado has plenty of parking right out front and a cute lawn for some corn hole - including covered patio seating. We walked right in and found a table. Bocado burger is no longer a counter service venue and offers "full service". I say that with hesitation considering how absent our sever was. I acknowledge the staffing issues with Covid, but similarly feel like perhaps counter service is better if you are understaffed? We had to beg to pay before the manager finally came back to take our credit card. We sat there maybe for 20 minutes just waiting to get charged so we could leave. We ordered the following: Avalon Burger ($13.50) Avalon Burger add Bacon ($13.50; $2.25) Bowl of Garlic Herb Fries ($7) Brown Ale ($7) The burgers were OUT OF THIS WORLD. So juicy, so flavorful, fresh produce, great char on the patties, ample sauce and cheese, fluffy bun. It was perfection. Unfortunately, this is where our excitement ended. The fries were not good at all. They were so greasy and absolutely tasteless. I recognize fries go in a deep fryer; however, they do not need to be grease sponges in your mouth. I am thinking this was a bad batch - fried in the wrong temp of oil and similarly under-seasoned. It was a generous portion (and $1 cheaper than the menu indicated), but I probably would skip them next time out of pure precaution. The burgers will bring me back for sure, but I will check my expectations for service at the door. All in all a very good option if you're looking for a yummy burger. You will pay for it though - it is on the pricier end. I think the burgers are delightful and have no issue paying for quality. See ya soon, Bocado!

Yelp
Allow me to start with it was Black Friday but they were not busy as other eateries . The service from the host was amazing the service from the waitress was hidden at best . My mother had a chicken caeser salad which lacked flavor on the chicken. I had a the cowboy burger medium. The bottom bun was grease covered not able to hold the bun. Flavor on burger was good bbq was not enough and same with onion strings . All in all interesting menu but I don't see myself returning .

Jennifer B.

Yelp
My daughter has a lot of food allergies. I called ahead to see if she could eat there safely and the manager was knowledgeable and reassuring. When we arrived, all of the staff were extremely helpful to make sure she felt safe eating here, even remaking an item when we accidentally ordered something that she could not eat. I would definitely recommend Bocado if anyone in your party has food allergies!

Talisha H.

Yelp
Service was awful. Food was very underwhelming, sadly nothing like the original Bocado.

Iman T.

Yelp
What's up with these bad reviews? Are people sensitive and getting their feelings hurt over stuff that was probably their fault? Come on it's simple. It's a burger place in a fancy area with very nice people don't over complicate it anyways read the rest of my review if you care to have the best burger ever. If you're craving nothing short of in my opinion, the best burger I've ever had, you need to try this for yourself. It's like a combination of In-N-Out with top-tier ingredients that you get from fine dining restaurant and you combine the two to get the classic burger that you crave with the quality that you deserve. I also highly enjoy the atmosphere. I come with my wife and you can sit either outside and have access to ceiling fans and nice central garden area, menu has tons of stuff even if you're vegan, but honestly, this place is even better than a Holman Finch burger, don't believe it? Just read online the owner of holman and finch said this is his favorite burger. On a last note, the service is wonderful and Bryan went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and even showed us a book about the history of the joint 10 out of 10!

Bailey O.

Yelp
Food was fantastic. I had the steak sandwich and the rest of my party had smash burgers. Service was amendable, greeted us as we walked in with smiles. Ambiance is really awesome with the open garage doors. Will return in the future

Rich S.

Yelp
Outstanding lunch! Family of 6 w/ 2 tykes, lunch at noon on a busy Friday. Expectations not too high, especially as Bocado appeared short staffed (what place isn't these days?). Seated within minutes, order taken promptly, and drinks came out right after. Our server Romeo did a fantastic job taking care of everyone, all with a friendly and engaging demeanor. He brought the kids meals out first to help keep them occupied / happy -- much appreciated. Cheeseburger and fresh cut fries were excellent!! A Yelp check-in will get you a free order of fries. Brussel sprouts were a hit, as were chicken sammies and the turkey burger. Finally, a big shoutout to manager Ryan and his staff. These folks were hustling to take care of the lunch rush, and they did it efficiently and with smiles on their faces. Bravo!!! Cheers! RS

Aqsa A.

Yelp
Bocado burger used to be one of my favorite places to go to! I went and felt disappointed by their service, prices, and burger. I ordered a southwestern burger, and my mom had gotten a fried chicken burger. Her burger was incorrect and she was given a grilled chicken burger, which was okay, the waitress made a new one. It took a while for us both to get our food. The burger was very greasy and the fries were cold. It was a little disappointing to see that the prices went up significantly, a burger and fries were almost $18 which is pricey for a burger.

Sydne D.

Yelp
This restaurant has great potential and is in a great location, however it continuously misses. You are greeted by a TERRIBLE smell when you first walk in. Not sure how the staff and customers are able to properly wash their hands in the bathroom. There was no soap in any of them, instead they put hand sanitizer in the soap dispenser . The burgers were good, but it was hard to enjoy considering everything else.

Renee C.

Yelp
I have been waiting to try Bocado since it opened. When I finally got the opportunity, it was very disappointing. When I walked in, the place smelled like sewage. I asked the hostess about it. She said it's been there about 3 weeks and they think it's something going on between the buildings. She offered to seat us (I came with a friend) as far away in the back as possible to, hopefully, keep away from the smell, but she said that if it got too overwhelming, we could go outside, no questions asked. It is August. In Atlanta. Outside in heat and humidity was not a desirable alternative. The atmosphere is really nice. My friend was seated on an actual couch -- comfy! We looked over the menu and ultimately decided that we could not enjoy anything with that smell. Since we had not been approached since the hostess left 15 minutes earlier, we simply left. I looked up Bocada's health inspection score and on April 29, 2023, it was a C. Sad. I won't be going back.

Samuel A.

Yelp
I was a big fan of the original Bocado and was/am a bit skeptical of "fancy" burger places but these cheeseburgers met expectations and are worth the price. Bocado burger stack - 9/10 Fries - 10/10 Service - 8/10 The burger is one of the best in town. My only complaint is that I wish they had more cheese options and it did get a tiny bit soggy towards the end but it is a delicious balance of flavors and textures. The fries are crispy outside, soft inside and seasoned perfectly.

Yelp
Bocado Burger is located in the Avalon shopping center in Alpharetta, GA. The parking situation is honestly horrible most days as it is for the entire Avalon as well. So if you get a good parking spot, lucky you! The location is big. They have seating both outside and inside. Tables are spread throughout the dining area. You have small tables and large tables to accommodate your party size. At Bocado, you order at the counter and they will deliver your order to your table. You pay after you eat. The menu is typical of most burger places. You of course have your burgers which aren't too unique, but a burger is a burger and you can only make it exotic up to a certain point before ruining it. So keeping it simple is fine for me. They have sandwiches and hotdogs as well. Also they some desserts like ice cream and milkshakes to name a few. There is also a beer menu too. I ended up ordering the Bocado Double Stack and also a Strawberry Milkshake. The burger was very juicy and had some savoriness to it for some good flavor. It's not too big in size so for some it may not be enough. Try to get a side of fries if you can, the fries here are really good by the way. The milkshake was really average to be honest. I thought it was a tad too expensive as well for what I ended up getting. Overall, I think I still prefer Shake Shack burgers if I had to compare the beef patties, it's a more to my liking there. Bocado is still pretty good though. A lot of complaints in the past seem to be more related to the service and wait times, but it wasn't too bad during my visit. Definitely worth checking if you can find a parking spot.

Yashaba H.

Yelp
The food is delicious. The service is SO BAD. We waited over an hour for our food and it wasn't busy at all. There is a 20% gratuity added to parties with 5+ but the service is trash.

Alan C.

Yelp
The owner, Brian Lewis, is literally street trash. I've never encountered anyone as egotistical and arrogant like this fool. Not to mention....he's dishonest, and childish. Burgers are only 6 ounces for $20. Go to Five Guys or Grind House Burgers. Uber affordable and super tasty.

Ray S.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to dining here for lunch as I reviewed the menu online and found several items of interest. My focus became the Southwestern burger with poblano and avocado. I invited a mate to gorge with me and off we went. The burger was juicy and delicious and actually came cooked medium!! Try ordering that at most restaurants and you normally difference versions of "well done". Kale salad side to die for and the fries were perfect. Given this, what's the 2 stars about? First thing I noticed was impossible parking. It's Avalon! I circled the parking lot for 5 to 10 minutes before I was able to find a spot so tight no one else would dare it. Could barely open my door and squeeze my fat out. This was at 11:30am. Entering the restaurant, I noticed a foul odor. I deliberately selected a seat near the open end of the restaurant, like dining on a sheltered openair patio with the hope of avoiding the stench. Once seated I asked my friend if he noticed it. Yes..and he shares it is likely the proximity of the trash dumpsters which are only about 1 store away. Looking for a meal while enjoying the waft of rotting whatever? This is your place. My final challenge comes when I get my bill. During the meal I commented the burger was excellent, but it was very reminiscent of Culver's butter burger. My disappointment was with the lone little fresh piece of poblano in the burger. Who orders a poblano burger without getting substantial amounts of poblano. [Ok, call it a "Southwestern Burger" if you want. If the entire differentiation is based on the addition of poblano pepper shouldn't there be generous amount?] When I discovered I was paying $17.50 for the burger I was appalled. I can get a ButterBurger at Culver's for like $6? Bring my own slice of poblano and it transforms Culver's burger into an $18 burger? Get real. If you are going to sell a burger for $17.50 (less tax and tip) it should send me to outer space as an experience. Not disappoint for lack of poblano. Oh, btw, it's not just that price for a specialty burger. Thats, the price for every burger. Final note, the chocolate milkshake had barely a hint of chocolate in it. "Would not order it again", from a chocolate milkshake lover. So, 2 stars? Great burgers extremely overpriced, misrepresentation of POBLANO burger, and the stench. Actually, once you sit in the place for awhile your nose gets deadened to the smell and you hardly can notice it. Service was excellent and was worth one star in my accounting methods. LOL.

Yelp
The sewer gas is a real thing here. I wanted to leave, and was wondering what's up with that as we waited for a table. We chose to eat outside. Good move with funky smells inside. Ordered the fried chicken and grits. It was ok, but very difficult to eat. Wished they had cut up the chicken better. My husband ordered the cowboy burger and fries, which he liked. The outdoor setting is nice. The food was ok, but not worth the price. We wouldn't go back.

Yelp
This place has a good tasting burger, but crappy service. I always go into order the kids burgers and they always seem to mess it up. Examples of incompetence are upcharging for the included portions of the meal, such as condiment or drink or not realizing that their sign outside says half off of kids meals and then not being able to reconcile that with a regular price meal when it is brought up in conversation. Usually these are signs of a lack of leadership/management skills. Conclusion. I would go there for the burgers, but have to watch the employees for upcharging and/or not knowing what is actually included in the meals. One would say this could be due to the difficulty of finding help, but I see the same permanent employees messing up. Usually they seem annoyed when I point out what is included in the kids meal. I really hope they fix this place up. It's also possible they are under new management, but usually there is a sign that states as such. I have probably been here about 15 times over the past year and the service is different every single time.

Yelp
A friend and I walked in and immediately smelled the odor of human defecation. They obviously have some problems with their underground pipes. The owner was a joke and kept harassing our table after we had been served mediocre burgers that costed $20. I highly do not recommend this place please save your money.

Yelp
The menu on line is not the menu in person. Prices are 3$ more in person. Staff was friendly. Sat at the bar but the bartender's were not actual bartenders. Told me they had a gin that they did not have. Took two people to find the rum I asked for when it was right in front. The bartender kept asking if we were ready to order every two minutes so I felt rushed. We normally enjoy a beverage then order but we just ordered because he kept asking. I ordered the cowboy with the sauce on the side. Never got the sauce. Burger was good but very greasy. The bun was already soggy when it arrived. They also never asked how I wanted it cooked. Glad I tried it but will not go back.

Yelp
A decent burger with great fries can you ask for anything more? My main complaint would be that when I was there several weeks ago the tables were not real clean and the atmosphere a little industrial but otherwise it is a good place! We will be back

Yelp
Been here a couple of times, At the entrance to Avalon these burgers are very good, they have a large menu for a burger place, parking can be a hassle on the weekends due to Avalon traffic,.

Yelp
Excellent food! The menu is filled with classics as well as lots of unique ideas. There are some interesting versions of freshly made burgers, salads, and lots of other items as well, such as Brussel sprouts. I ordered the BLT burger and added grilled onions to it. The burger was made perfectly, everything was just as it should be,, and it was a double decker. The caesar salad and homemade French fries were also both very good! The waiter and manager were both very friendly! You can't ask for much more than that! Keep up the great work everyone!! I will definitely be back soon! Great restaurant, fun atmosphere!

Yelp
Food is solid, one of the better burgers in the area. The one downside was the service at this location, could use some improvement. Employees were pretty rude during our visit.

Yelp
Overpriced and unsatisfying taste. We paid $13 for a burger without any fries. The burger also had very thin patties and was not filing. Ironically, the kid's meal had more food and we would have been better off paying for 2 kids meal ( same price as my 1 burger) and their burger came with fries. I wish I would have taken a picture of my friend's chicken club sandwich. That was much more depressing. In his own words, "I got sad when I looked at it."

Yelp
The worst! We have been so many times, but I think there is whole new management! Got my burger wrong 3 times, and argued with me. Left and went to teds! If your service sucks, you will not last long! Did not deserve 1 star, but had to choose to review!

Yelp
We were looking for a place where everyone could find something they'd like. I called the restaurant and Bryan, the Manager, was super helpful to seat our family of 6. He accommodated our needs for outdoor seating since we had our pup with us. Helen, our server, was super sweet and attentive. It was not very busy for lunch on Friday. Service was a little slow, but we were patient because we understand there's not much of that going around these days plus we were enjoying the music and our drinks. We had the cheesy Texas French fries which we so good! The rest of the family had burgers and wings. The burgers were juicy. It was a great place for casual dining and family friendly.

Yelp
Great Food. Fries and Burgers are some of the best in the area. Definitely worth the price and trip.

Yelp
We order our meal for 4 with two kids meal. After our meals were done we asked for another kids meal, they asked presumed that we wanted it to go and the guy game out to advise us that the kids meal will not be half off as we may want it o go. With out even asking us ? If we wanted to have it here or not just came out to tell us about the full price very rude, very unprofessional from a burger shop that sells up class burgers in Avalon . I would ask them teach some professionalism to there staff . Very unacceptable

Yelp
I went here with a few of my friends that only eat halal meat. It was nice to find a burger joint where we could all enjoy the food for once! We all ordered the Southwestern burger and it was delicious! It was loaded with flavor and the spicy mayo was a nice touch. I did think my burger was a little over cooked, and I wish I had mentioned it earlier when I was placing my order. But serving halal meat here makes this place worth visiting many more times!

Yelp
First visit. Awesome atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating, some covered and some not covered. Picnic table style seating outside. Decent selection of beers, but also other spirits available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many different styles of burgers available and they have beef or turkey. No combos, fries are separate. Really nice size burgers and really good taste. Not a lot of seasoning, and it's not really needed. A few TVs around the inside. It's worth checking out.

Yelp
1st. Burgers and fries are great! The reason for the 3 stars is the cleanliness. Poor. All tables dirty with only 8 guests in restaurant Glass doors filthy Manager was eating off the grill No masks requires which I thought odd for staff So hard to recommend even if food good

Yelp
For the love of god someone needs to do something about the smell of this restaurant. I KNOW everyone can smell it. It smells like sewage and trash, rotting. I've been coming here for a long time and clearly the ownership doesn't care about the reviews and have done nothing to fix the issue. If you really want to eat here, take it Togo or eat outside. The original one in midtown was 1000000xs better in every way.

Yelp
Do not go there def not worth it!!! I really wanted to like this place and had high hopes for it but it didn't meet my expectations at all Ordered the classic burgers they were fine but nothing special just a basic burger like any other fast food place if not less, the quality is def low. It's 12.50 each which is way overpriced for just a basic burger. I also ordered the Texas fries it's very BAD def not worth your $9, the Fries it self didn't taste good at all and had a little to no cheese on it and little of bell pepper that's it. Didn't meet my expectations at all Overall, I will not return here again since I can find a better quality at other places.

Yelp
All the appetizers were amazing. The service is really good and the burgers are the icing on the cake. The only thing the owner should consider is the awful smell of sewage. It's really noticeable when you walk in, but you get used to it as it is sounds weird to say that, but it's just the truth.
