Saw on social media that this place was opened and is located where Big Ben used to be. The layout was beautiful, especially the patio. My wife loves it. The hostess with the pretty smiles and long black hair that we’ve met before works here as well so it was a warming welcome from her. While she added us onto the wait list, she recommended getting drinks at the bar while we wait. The Me, Myself, and IPA was a great drink for the hot weather. As we were quoted 5-10 minutes, we were seated in 5 minutes. Definitely a great scene on the patio for date night, just a bit too cramped! I get that they wanted to squeeze as many tables as they wanted on the patio but it is too tight! My wife was bumping chairs with a person behind her and both of our tables agrees that they should spread them out a bit more! Our waitress Kamari was super lovely- which the only thing tonight we enjoyed was the service. The menu is insanely overpriced! Not sure if this is common in Atlanta (which I have also never seen) but this is basic southern foods with some plating for 5 times for what it’s worth! My burger was the size of a toddler’s hand and NO I am not kidding!!! I paid $20 for it! 5 pieces of deviled eggs for $12?! Quality tastes the same as other neighboring spots. The only thing that was reasonably priced were the cocktails, which was $13 I believe. It was their first opening night to the public and items were limited but I do not wish to be back at all. My wife was still hungry after we’ve left. Be aware that 20% of gratuity (tips) is automatically added on the tab as a service charge, even with only 2 people. I did not mind as our waitress was excellent but that is bad especially for people with bad service experience. Stop by for drinks at the bar is my only recommendation if you do come!
