Bocelli Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

We had a very good overall experience at this restaurant. There were six of us, and while we were told we needed to wait for our table to be prepared, which took a bit of time, everything after that went smoothly. We placed quite a large order, and all the dishes arrived promptly. Everything was tasty, and everyone at our table praised their meals. Personally, I feel I didn’t make the best choice, I ordered salmon, and it was a bit overcooked and slightly tough, and also completely unsalted, which made it less enjoyable for me. However, the side dish that came with it was absolutely delicious. One of my friends mentioned that her perch was slightly overcooked, but apart from that, everyone else said their food was truly amazing. Considering the number of dishes we ordered, these are really minor remarks. The desserts were especially praised, we ordered a selection, and my friends were delighted (I didn’t try them myself, so I can’t comment firsthand). The coffee was excellent.

We came here after we couldn't get in somewhere else because we didn't have reservations. I was happy we were able to get in here and even happier after we ate! It was amazing! The pasta was excellent, steak cooked perfectly, and the dessert was to die for! Everything was excellent and the service was great. I thought they were fast, efficient and very attentive. I am so glad we were able to try this little gem!

The food was absolutely fantastic it was like being back in Italy. Definitely 10/10, the staff were fantastic, we were celebrating an anniversary and they brought out a dessert with a candle such a lovely gesture. Would highly recommend bocelli's and cant wait to go back.

Good food but smaller portions, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Got my order wrong and it was rectified within 7-8 minutes and was obviously made fresh. Do recommend for date night though I went for a birthday dinner. Excellent all around!

Place is generally fairly okay, the food is decent; focaccia was a highlight. However even tho they advertise catering for various dietary needs, staff has no clue about that. Also in the menu items that has no mil as an alergen are being served with Parmesan on top.

This place was quite the pleasant surprise. The food is high quality and the service was over the top. We were quite needy and had many requests (such as switching tables from outside to inside when it got too cold) and the servers met every need with a great attitude. Everyone enjoyed their meal. If you like well prepared Italian with great service then this is the place.

Nice environment, absolutely perfect, my wife was absolutely satisfied with the steak, I had a pizza, it was great. Soft dough, excellent garnish, definitely recommend. And for dessert we definitely recommend tiramisu.

I was surprised how good the italian food actually was. I’ve had chill burrata and pasta carbonara. I liked it very much and my friend(who has lived in Italy for 30 years was also impressed (and believe me, it’s not easy to impress him with italian food😀) so highly reccomend!

Service was pretentious and rude. Didn't care about the customer. Put us at a table that seats two and barely fit us. Had a reservation and they acted like we didn't and just through us wherever they could. Waiter left us mid conversation like he couldn't care less. Left ealy

Based on Yelp recommendations came to Bocelli for an early dinner. Service was brisk and friendly, room was pub-like but perfectly ok. I ordered a meaty pizza. The base was distinctly of the bought in frozen variety and, if it wasn't, they need to revisit their training. The topping was fine although a sense of cooked mince was a little off putting. I like fries with my pizza but these could have done with a few more minutes in the frier. The Pinot Grigio was fine - hard to screw that up. Overall rating? Meh.

I've only ever had the pizza there, but what great pizza! New York-style crust, fresh ingredients and pesto to die for. Serving staff are helpful and just plain likeable folks. This place is a bit off the beaten track, being on a side street near Oliver Plunkett, but it's well worth a visit. It's close to the bus station and much better than other pizza places in the vicinity Update: Been back many times since, both for lunch and dinner, and I'm happy to report that it's all even better than I'd hoped! Never had a miss here, from a simple (but amazingly tasty) sandwich and soup to full blown salmon or beef dishes. Everything has been prepared with attention and care, and the staff are attentive and receptive to feedback. Always happy to return.

I have used this restaurant over the years but it has gone downhill and won't be eating there again. I ordered rare ribeye steak last night and it was very well done, almost cremated. Very disappointed with the meal overall. What was one of the best restaurants in Cork has become like a fast food takeaway. Best avoided in my opinion

I ate here tonight and can recommend this restaurant with flying colors. The food was fabulous, tasty and hot. The service was excellent and the customer service in this restaurant is outstanding. Looking forward to going back.
