The 15 Best Restaurants In Palermo 2024

"What started out as Palermo’s first mixology bar has since transformed into a full-service restaurant. Bocum’s natural and organic wine list mainly includes hard-to-find Sicilian labels, but they serve great cocktails and non-alcoholic mixed drinks, too. Outdoor dining is available, as well as three cozy indoor dining rooms. Plates are small—a few will do for a snack, but you’ll need more than that for a full meal—and include things like marinated anchovies with black olives and goat cheese or some artichoke caponata." - linda sarris

Newer Bocum is a kinda fancy cocktail bar but has a great selection of natural wines.

Great, interesting, extensive Sicilian wine list and good relaxing tunes and vibe. Excellent small plates; great light dinner. I loved the aubergine hummus dish and the oysters with fancy mignonette.

Fine dining for reasonable prices! The chef is combining Peruvian, Italian and Japanese flavors in unique ways. Every component is carefully seasoned and probably every created flavor is peerless in itself. It really feels like Michelin-star food but for very good money! Plus you will get a mindful service, with personal wine recommendations. The aperitif are self-created as well and add a nice twist the whole dining experience.

Everything about this place is incredible. From the atmosphere, to the interior, the backbar, the service, glassware, quality of spirits and the knowledge of the head bartender and of course the cocktails. I had a Bocum style Negroni, Manhattan twist with Mezcal and Marsala wine, a perfectly balanced Whiskey Sour and a Dirty Martini Twist with Vodka from the US (Tito‘s) and Sicilian Olive Oil. A little highlight was 2 talented music students playing some Ludovico Einaudi at the piano. Such a friendly place even the owner stopped by for a handshake. I highly recommend this bar for music lovers, cocktail enthusiasts and wine fans.

Came here specifically looking to try their natural, biodynamic wines. My wine glass had lipstick marks, and to make things worse the first wine I was served was obviously corked. I tried to explain but the waitress seemed to think that I just didn't like the wine. Neither of the wines were particularly good either - and we were charged €16 for 2 glasses of wine (in restaurants around here, you could almost buy a bottle for that). Most annoying is that there seems to be different levels of service offered to customers - one of the waitresses was offering another table a guided wine tasting - something that we weren't offered despite me mentioning that I wanted to try wines from the local region. In the end, we decided to go elsewhere for food based on the service at this place.

The sous-chef is very hot, the staff and barkeeper are friendly, thoughtful and flexible. I really recommend the Panzanella polpo. And like the chill, jazzy music.

While the dishes served were good the portions were disappointingly small, even for tapas. Service was a bit slow as well.

Original and enjoyable food but let down by its high prices. Yes, it’s a little more high end but the food needs to be perfect as well as look good. The service was great though and the wine was great, albeit it pricey!

They have a vaste collection of natural, biodynamic, not filtered and organic wine. The place is elegant and quite, in a picturesque corner of the historical city centre. You can get just a glass of wine or buy the whole bottle to take away. The staff is welcoming and extremely professional. Highly recommended
