Bodard Bistro Review - Chinatown - Houston - The Infatuation

"Bodard Bistro, a small Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown, serves a soup that will change your life. This tiny spot has less than a dozen tables, and it has all the appeal of a hospital waiting room. But the well-tended and deep green house plants let you know something special is happening. photo credit: Quit Nguyen And sure enough, once the food arrives, Bodard Bistro blossoms into an oasis. The canh chua cá trê, a Mekong Delta staple stew, is and bright and refreshing, with an otherworldly tropical tang from tamarind and pineapple. It’s like somebody planted a vegetable garden by the beach, and then made a soup out of it, with whole tender filets of fresh catfish, stewed tomato, okra, and a melody of sharp herbs. Nothing prepares you for the first bite—or the last, because the woman waiting on you will insist you finish every morsel. Food Rundown photo credit: Quit Nguyen Canh Chua Cá Trê This homestyle soup, in which sweet pineapple and tangy tamarind get mellowed by stewed catfish and fresh tomatoes, hails from south Vietnam. If you’ve never had it before, you’ll be inexplicably transformed. Ladle it over steaming white rice and enjoy it any time of the year. photo credit: Quit Nguyen Bánh Khọt Sort of Vietnam’s answer to savory pancakes, these thick coconut and rice flour cups are golden yellow with turmeric. Each wiggly little tart has crispy, crunchy bottom and sweet shrimp on top. Just pop one in your mouth. photo credit: Quit Nguyen Nem Nướng Imagine a spring roll, filled with a fried wonton, and a tangy pork sausage. Then dunk that roll into a warm bath made of paté, hoisin, and fish sauce blended together with a sticky rice congee. It’s warm and rich and crunchy all at the same time." - Chelsea Thomas

Yelp
I guess a lot has changed since I had this for the first time iver 10 yrs ago. Nem nuong is dry and the lettuce inside the rolls were shredded iceberg and were mostly brown. Regretfully, will not return the next time I crave this. Sauce was still plentiful and tasty but wish the rolls were better quality and size.

Yelp
One of my go to spots for Vietnamese catering! The food is always consistently good and authentic. The staff is also nice and helpful. The prices for catering are the best here too. More recently, I ordered 50 egg rolls for a Christmas party and order was ready fast and it was a hit! I'll continue to come here for my catering.

Yelp
A friend wanted to try banh khot and said she saw this place was recommended a few times so we decided to give it a shot. It wasn't busy when we went for monday lunch so the servers were attentive towards us! Banh khot - overall i enjoyed them! they were crispy on the bottom and the shrimp was decent in taste and size. tons of vegetables to wrap them in. one thing i didn't fully enjoy was the nuoc mam that came with it. i don't kno what it was but it just felt lacking compared to others i've had. 7.4/10 Nem Nuong - since this place was called bodard like brodard i said we should try this! i liked this as well. other nem nuong places give a larger piece but flavor was there. the sauce didn't have too much flavor but it was enough to add to the dish. the spring roll wrap inside adds a great texture. i think the lettuce used inside is a mix so i guess more variety. 7.1/10 Bun Rieu - i am a harsh judger on viet soup so this felt lacking to me. noodle portion felt small. i felt a lot of things i expected in bun rieu wasn't there. the flavor was okay, but not the umami kind i expected. the meatball tasted fine but i think it wasn't fresh. my friends who have never tried it enjoyed it. but i'll take them somewhere that reaches my expectations. 4.6/10

Yelp
We order 1lb grilled pork & 1lb grilled pork chicken. As we had other side dishes. It can serve up to 5-7 ppl per serving with rice/vermicelli Overall not bad for $14/lb for protein cooked

Yelp
THIS IS NOT BRODARD!! NEWS FLASH THIS IS NOT BRODARD!! Do not be mistaken like I was and thought this was similar to the nem nuong spring rolls of BRODARD in Cali. It absolutely is NOT. The meat is tasteless and hard. The veggies tasted old. Even the crispy fried portion in the roll was hard and tough to chew. Dipping sauce was meh. We got excited and placed 4 orders. Ended up throwing out an entire order because no one wanted it. So sad.

Yelp
This is an unassuming, solid 3.5-4 star spot if you're craving some vietnamese food. There are a ton of options in the area and it's definitely hard to choose favorites, but here we go. First off, this is not THE Brodard from southern California. While the sauce and rolls may look the same, they definitely are not. The nem nuong (aka sausage spring rolls) do have the crispy fried piece in there. While the spring rolls were still good, they weren't Brodard good but about Brodard's price (4 for $8.50) Bun Bo Hue was large and plentiful, full of flavor, and a solid choice. Would recommend this and very fairly priced Lastly, we got the Banh Xeo, which has been somewhat difficult to find but this place does it well. Nice and crispy, not too oily, and large-portioned. The outside is thicker than normal, but still delicious. Definitely worth trying at least once! Overall, the waitstaff was fairly nice and attentive, which gave them the bump up.

Yelp
Don't have much to go on except for our work pot luck someone brought in these awesome springs rolls, believe they are called Nem Nuong Rolls. They have something crunchy with the veggies and pork that sets it apart from regular spring rolls. Also the dipping sauce, which at first glance I thought it was egg drop soup, had an amazing taste. Literally hands down the best dish outside of the smoked turkey that someone brought. Here in downtown there are a lot of bodard express's...are they the same place?
google avatar

Yelp
OG spot, can never go wrong with some nem nuong spring rolls! The sauce always hit the spot, I could literally just drink it.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place after I've tried their food from a catering party and I can't stop going back here! Bodard Bistro serves up some delicious food for any appetite! My most recent visit was a few months ago with some family on a late night in Chinatown Houston. Some go-to foods are the Nem Nuong, the spring rolls, and the Rice Cake with Shrimp. Let's break these down one by one because these items are super awesome. Nem Nuong: tasty, contrasting textures, simple, sauce is dope. Spring Rolls: full of stuffing, crunchy, elegant, amazing. Rice Cake with Shrimp: unexpectedly great, crispy vegetables, awesome dipping sauce, fried goodness. Ambiance is very simple inside, traditional Asian restaurant, with some TVs showing some sports, good mix!

Yelp
Nem nuong spring rolls ordered to go. Very fresh and delicious. Service was great, as I ordered over the phone and picked up. Like some others mentioned, some of the rolls are wrapped in saran wrap just in case you bite into it. Dipping sauce is delicious.

Nancy C.

Yelp
Ordered sweet/sour Catfish soup to go. Got catfish soup kit. Food was not cooked!!! I order from a restaurant, so I don't have to cook. Surprised! Very unhappy, very disappointed.

Yelp
Best spring rolls in Houston. The nem cuong nha trang is absolutely amazing. The orange sauce. I could climb inside a pot of the orange sauce and drink my way out. Service and ambiance is decent, but most people take it to go.

Yelp
3-3.5 stars, but rounding up since their Nem Nướng Cuon is really good for Texas. However, if you're expecting Brodard from Orange County, you'll be disappointed. Once I stopped comparing, I was able to enjoy their nem nướng. We stopped by to pick up some items and called in ahead of time. They weren't busy around 5pm on a Monday, and our order was ready quickly. We tried: -Nem Nướng Cuon (Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, $6, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=t2qmuppJcOX7God9i_AvPQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Pretty good, and they didn't skimp on the meat in the spring rolls. The rolls were a little unevenly rolled, but at least it was tightly rolled. All the ingredients were really fresh. The dipping sauce was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but nothing some sriracha can't fix. -Nem Nướng Cuon (Grilled Pork Spring Rolls) To Go Kit: I can't remember how much this was, but we loved how neatly packaged everything was! We made more spring rolls the next day, and it actually tasted better for some reason. If you're looking for a nem nướng fix in Texas, I would recommend checking out Bodard. They only have indoor dining available at this time, and all their staff that I saw were wearing masks. There were plenty of parking spots available in their shared lot.

Yelp
Great for Nem Nuong and it's freshly made each morning so you can just stop by and grab a few orders for the road.

Yelp
Bodard has moved again, but the food has not changed... if anything, it might have gotten better. The restaurant was clean, and we were seated quickly. Despite the language barrier of the staff, they seem to understand everything you ask them. Inflation has reared it's ugly head again, and the signature pork spring rolls with egg sauce are now $8.50 for 4. Long gone are the days of the insane value of the $19.99 meal for 2 (2 full wings, catfish clay pot, pineapple catfish soup and lotus salad). It is now $25. The dishes came out staggered and not all at once, and this did not bother me one bit. Why? Because everything was fresh. The sauce for my pork rolls was steaming hot, the rice paper was not the freshest, but I can understand them pre-making their most popular item. Plus, once the sauce softened it up, it was all good. The lotus salad came out next, a little smaller than I remembered but still delicious. Plenty of shrimp. The soup followed, a large bowl, 2 large catfish chunks, plenty of veggies, and nice and hot. Just sweet and sour enough. After the soup came out the catfish clay pot, the sauce still bubbling from being pulled off the heat. It was delicious as usual, and I don't know how... but you can render what little fat catfish has because it melted in my mouth. Last, the wings came out screaming hot. These are full wings, the flat and the drum. It was moist... how do I know this? My wife squirted with me wing juice as she was separating the flat from the drum. Could have used a bit more seasoning, but it was still very good. The restaurant may have gotten smaller, but it's still the good old food I remember.

Yelp
Stay for their signature spring rolls, skip their noodle soups (bun rieu was def NOT a bun rieu, no crab or pork to be seen, just a few crappy fish cakes and undercooked sliced tomatoes). The pho was also meh. But their sauce for the rolls was delicious, fatty, porky goodness. Great crunch, I did find the pork sausage dry (I heard a microwave so I have a feeling they were nuked as it was end of day). They ride paper was tearing when we were trying to remove them from the tray.

Yelp
I love their nem nuong cuon rolls! They have family meal specials which are a great deal!

Joe F.

Yelp
Wanted to show my wife who is from Mexico City Houston's version of Chinatown and try something different for dinner. This was not the place to do it. Reviews were good so I took a chance. This was outside the beltway so away from the places I was familiar with. Limited atmosphere, uninspired food, but the peanut sauce was the best I have ever had. I doubt with all the choices in the area that I would go back.

Yelp
I think the owners have changed and now is an all women masterpiece. I have been craving this for what... maybe 10 years. I was not disappointed. I did notice my taste has changed a little since becoming a mother, but the food has improved. It was myself and kids. They had a grilled pork and rice and pho. I got a taste of their dishes and it is seasoned well and isn't adjusted for western taste. I apps, eggrolls and nem rolls were excellent. Again the star of the show was the nem rolls. They cut the nems into smaller pieces or they rolled it into smaller patties, but this helped in my opinion. They do offer the mam nem that is more traditional in Nha Trang, but you have to ask for it since it isn't normally offered for everyday. The BBH was nice. They came out with all the good stuff that isn't offered in my neck of the woods. Banana blossom, shrimp paste. The service was outstanding. The ladies were amazing attentive and helpful! I don't know if it was pity on me for being there by myself with 3 young kids of this was the normal treatment. But they made the experience absolutely wonderful.

Yelp
Hands down the best spring rolls I've ever had. That crunch gets me every time and their dipping sauce is so good. I always stop here when I'm in the area just for the spring rolls.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. I randomly stumbled here while trying to find nem nuong and banh khot. I didn't realized that they had moved here from the previous location. I will definitely be back. Nem nuong: 5/5 - refreshing and tasty Bun thit nuong cha gio: 4/5 - nice charbroiled flavor and egg rolls were good too Banh khot: 4/5 - good enough to satisfy your craving. The shell was a bit too thick for my liking but nonetheless it was good and iwas savory and coconutty

Yelp
Nem Nuong Cuon!! This place. HANDS DOWN. The best Nem Nuong spring rolls in Houston. Their (orange) sauce that goes with the rolls is what keeps me coming back. Even without the spring rolls, their sauce goes good on everything. EVERYTHING! Even on plain white rice. The inside of the rolls have a crunchy fried egg roll shell and every bite, you get that crunch. Also one of the best parts of eating these rolls. Any time there's a pot luck involved, this my go to place to order their nem nuong cuon. It's kinda sad unfortunately, cause anytime I call for just their rolls, the lady on the phone always asks "do you want to order anything else?" And when I say no, they always have this sad tone and say "okay." I've noticed that their rolls are the only thing that keeps them thriving. Every time I come in to pick up my order, it's always dead. No one dining and so many pick up orders. Now I've never dined in before so I can't really say much about the other items. But what I can say is that their nem nuong cuon is what you want.
google avatar

Yelp
THE BEST NEM NUONG ROLLS!!!! Their dipping sauce is like crack! I could take shots of it. But this is the only thing good on their menu.
google avatar

Candy C.

Yelp
I was jones for some Nem Nuong rolls so of course I had to come to Bobard's. I called in my order for pickup. It did take long. I spent more time driving down Bellaire. Nem Nuong is a must... so good a spring roll with a crunchy surprise. The sauce is bomb.

Yelp
The food could get them 3stars, but customer service knocked off 2. I will never place my oder here ever again, nor recommend this place to anyone I know. I usually order a party tray of gỏi cuốn (spring roll) and nem nướng (grilled ground pork roll) mostly because I don't know any place else, and the food quality is ok (3-3.5 stars imo). Last year, the crunchy thing inside nem nướng was hard. I guess they made them way in advanced so by the time I picked them up, and tried one right there, it was hard. I still paid and didn't complain anything. Learning my lesson, this year when I called to place the order, I told them so and wanted to make sure they make it fresh, as close to the pickup time as possible so it'd be crunchy. When I came to pickup, there's this lady who already looked grumpy said that and I quote, NO WAY SHE COULD GUARANTEE THE QUALITY OF HER FOOD. I was literally like "excuse me!?" And then she went on and on about how she could remember an order from last year (that wasn't my ask at all). I could've left the damn tray there, but to my surprise, I still felt bad given restaurants have been suffering through the pandemic and all so I just paid. When I walked towards the door with the tray, she was still at it, trying to explain to a customer who was waiting there. Note worthy: price per roll when you order party tray is oddly a bit higher compared to small order on the menu. I paid $84 for 40 rolls after tax, while it's like $1.75+tax based on their menu for a small order of like 4. (the picture is not mine)

Yelp
If you are coming here and expecting to have the same experience as the one in California you will definitely be disappointed. Bodard Bistro in Houston is NOT the same taste as the one I'm Cali. My husband & I was super disappointed because the famous nem cuốn & sauce was not bad but nothing like the one in Cali in my opinion!!!
google avatar

Dora L.

Yelp
They're only good for their pork spring rolls. I also ordered banh xeo and it was very bland. There was barley any meat in it and their nuoc mam was way too sweet and the color was so off. When I was waiting for my food, I saw the kitchen behind the counter and saw the "cook" heating up a bunch of food in the microwave. The food was not fresh and you can definitely tell.
google avatar

Tyson P.

Yelp
Their nem nuong (bodard roll) with famous sauce closest thing to Orange County, CA. Yes, there are other places that have nem nuong slightly better. But they cant replicate the sauce and usually off. The sauce here is spot on. Bodard Roll 5/5
google avatar

Gammie L.

Yelp
I personally love this place for one thing and one thing only: nem nuong cuon (grilled pork spring rolls). Why? You ask? Well Duhhhhhhhh they have the best dipping sauce for spring rolls hands down in Houston! I love spring rolls in general but these are my favorite. It's savory, crunchy and refreshing all at the same time. The sauce makes it. You cannot eat the nem nuong without it. Just wouldn't be the same. They have since changed the recipe slightly, but not a big a difference. And the rolls seems slightly smaller and thinner too. Still good nonetheless. They have since relocated to a new plaza but it's okay. I'll make the drive. It's still in Bellaire, just further down towards 59. Never really dined in here b always ordered catering from them. I think that's how they make majority of their business since almost every time I walk into pick up my orders, it's always empty. Ooh and pro tip: you can order their nem nuong sauce (orange sauce) in a plastic pho container container for $8! Not too shabby. I usually pick one up whenever we're having spring rolls at home!

Catherine W.

Yelp
This is a small Viet spot and the food is pretty authentic. Service was good and ambiance is rather casual. Not too many seatings in general so a small group of 4 or less is ideal.
google avatar

Alisa S.

Yelp
Tried the banh xeo....omg soooo Crunchy!!!! The nem nuong cuon was OK. I think the nem was too dried for me;however, the sauce was very good.
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
I love their nem nuongs!! My friend and I did also order a variety of different items from their menu just to try it out. He ordered the combination pho and banh xeo. Whereas I ordered the bun bo hue and nem nuong. I was pretty impressed with the size of the orders... However, taste wise- the meat inside the bun bo hue didn't taste fresh...and it was pretty tough, which was a letdown. I usually only order bun bo hue at certain vietnamese restaurants only... sad to say this won't be one of them. However, this will not deter me from coming back again for their nem nuongs and banh xieo. You know it's a popular item when you look around and at each and every table, that's the first thing the regulars order. On the bright side the ladies are friendly. Side note: if you're addicted to the orange nem nuong dipping sauce...you can purchase a container of it for $8.
google avatar

Stephanie N.

Yelp
I'm really sad that this place was just okay. I I really wanted to enjoy it but it seems like it didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the nem nuong rolls and a banh xeo. As soon as the rolls came out, she said something in Vietnamese and walked off. turns out she was telling me that my order was coming up, but my order was incorrect. The rolls were good but I compared them to nem nuong and rolls and I prefer there's better. These were lacking something. When I bit into the rolls, the lettuce was browned in parts which definitely turned me off. As an order of food came out, I told her immediately that it was not what I ordered and she kind of smiled. Banh kot is like mini banh xeos so I just took them since I felt bad. It was very crispy but each bite I took had a puddle of grease that filled my mouth. Shrimp seemed to be undercooked also. Overall, my experience here is just okay. I wish the rolls were warm and the banh kot was less greasy.
google avatar

Trang L.

Yelp
I haven't had their nem cuon for a long time so I decided to order some since they relocate further down Bellaire. The nem was good. I would have gave it 4 stars but the waitress was wearing her mask incorrectly exposing her nose and mouth. Then the cashier had a face shield but it's not down. What is the use of wearing it then‍. It makes me wonder about the kitchen's staff handling of the food.

Yelp
Bodard is my go to for my catering needs and they have never disappointed me. The ladies are super nice and have been very helpful. From ordering to assisting me load the trays into my car. Ive used them for get togethers, birthdays, baby showers, and holidays. Their nem nuong is the bomb!!! Everyone looks forward to them and expect the same great taste each time. The Sauce for the Nem Nuong is so addicting and even better when warm. They know how good their sauce is and they are not stingy with it either. The vietnamese salad aka "goi" is also my favorite with them. Fresh, favorful, and saucey. Their crispy chicken is also delicious with plenty of herb seasoning with that salty kick. Fried rice and noodles (mi xao) are standard but still good. Their catering menu is a great deal and reasonably priced. Definitely enough to feed the crowd and then some. The Crab Soup is delicious too! People were suprised how good it was too. I put it in a crock pot to keep warm during parties. They keep upping the price on the nem nuong. I remember it used to being $4 for 4 but now its $6 for 4. I highly recommend them for your catering needs. For large orders, I did 1 week in advance. For smaller, 2-3 trays ive ordered 24 hours in advanced or even day of. Loved that they open at 9am, however closed on Tuesdays. Great people and great food.

Yelp
I might be speaking from a biased perspective with higher expectations, since I am visiting from California and have been to the original Brodard restaurants multiple times. The only resemblance in the nem cuon at Bodard Bistro is the sauce. The flavor in the meat is lacking, they fry the nem instead of grilling it (BIG no-no). Iceberg lettuce and cucumber also doesn't add any flavor. Only notable things were texture, and how fast the food came out. I can see why locals here or people craving for anything remotely similar to the infamous flavors of Brodard CA would get their fix here, but it's really a stone's throw.
google avatar

Linh T.

Yelp
Always a good fast authentic food stop. We don't have it in our state so when we are in the area we would always get some with extra sauce!
google avatar

Tony N.

Yelp
So we came here to get food for a party and since we was here already, we decided to have lunch here. It's a small place. So I ordered bun thit nuong and my son ordered the pho. My son wasn't impressed with their pho. But it smelled really good. My bowl was ok. Not my top pick. But we did order nam nuong. This place have the best hands down.
google avatar

Ly N.

Yelp
This used to be our go to place to order nem nuong rolls for parties. Today's order tasted really odd and I just couldn't put my finger on it. They have replaced the chive and romaine with iceberg lettuce. The tiny sliver of meat is now tasteless and doesn't have the grilled look, it has lost its color. This place has really traded in its quality to make a quick dollar. As if these weren't expensive to order, now you don't even get the rolls you thought you were paying for. I hear Saigon Pagaloc and Jasmine both make awesome nem nuong rolls. Bodards, you have lost us unless you bring your quality back.
google avatar

Christina O.

Yelp
Yummm. Found this local place by following a Houston blogger and it was delicious! They are famous for their Nem nuong cuon (grilled pork spring rolls) ! If you go there please do yourself a favor and order them! They have all traditional dishes any place would have but I will say this place delivers fresh good food!
google avatar

Britney P.

Yelp
I've come here for years n have bought big party trays from them every time! These hoes slap because of their secret dipping sauce!! N the crunch in every bite of their spring rolls!! Anybody can make a spring roll but nobody compares to their SAUCEEEE!! ‍ add sriracha to that sauce u got urself an addiction!
google avatar

Rosalie N.

Yelp
Only ordered take out. Nem nuong spring roll w the sauce. Sauce is delicious. Only complaint is that 4 is not enough, esp when sharing with another person. I lk 4 to myself! Quality of nem nuong is ok. I lk the once I get from Orange County, California better. It's the best. But the ones here comes close to it. Sauce here is better than broadard in Cali.

Jaspar S.

Yelp
The service was really nice and kind. The food was a bit mid though. The ambience could be improved as well.
google avatar

Long T.

Yelp
As everyone else says, you go to Bodard for one reason... the Nem Nuong rolls... almost no one else in town makes them as good as Bodard does... and that dipping sauce... OMG. Everything else on their menu is standard fare for vietnamese food in Houston... but the nem nuong is what makes people keep coming back.
google avatar

Patty C.

Yelp
So after reading one dish mentioned again and again in a restaurant's reviews, I knew I had to try it. It's true, you must order their nem nuong nha trang. The menu describes it as grill pasted pork with salad rolled in rice paper. A better description would be rice paper filled with succulent grilled pork patties, crispy rolled eggroll sheets, and fresh herbs. You get four of them for $4.99. Really, you can make a meal out of these or share them as an appetizer. Excellent flavor and great texture from the fried fried sheets and herbs are sure to satisfy any taste. They come with a eggy mildly sweet dipping sauce. It looks like orange eggdrop soup, but man is it tasty! My dining companion ordered the banh canh hue. It was not the best I have tasted, but it was acceptable with goodies such as pork roll, shrimp rolls, and straw mushrooms swimming in there. The noodles were overdone though. We also ordered eggrolls. They were okay. Pretty standard. Prices are really good. They offer pho, hu tieu, mi, and rice and vermicelli dishes as well as a few other noodles soups. Catering and party trays also seem to be popular here, and they have an extensive menu covering just that.
google avatar

Nora C.

Yelp
Ambiance is the typical Asian restaurant, plenty of tables to sit customers. There's a heavy fish sauce smell here.. probably because of all the Togo food in the front. The pho is also average; tastes just like any other average pho places. The beef dice dish was ok. The rice that came with it had a strong pea taste, which I didn't like. At least the water doesn't taste that bad :)
google avatar

Cynthia T.

Yelp
I was craving Nem Nuong so I came here on a Saturday around 4pm. There was only one other table in there. They were pretty busy making the catering orders for others. The unused tables were used to store the food that was ready for customers to pick up their catering orders. Nem Nuong was on point, as always. They're known for their Nem Nuong and the dipping sauce that goes with it. However, I didn't just want to order the Nem Nuong, so I decided to try the "Banh Khot." If any of y'all have ever had banh khot. You'd know it's like little white circles that are made out of flour and coconut milk, topped with shrimp. However, when it came out, it was yellow. Basically, it was cooked in the Banh Khot cast iron pan, but it was the Banh Xeo mix. If I wanted Banh Xeo, I would've ordered that instead. Overall, I'd probably just stick to the Nem Nuong next time.

Yelp
Such a huge let down today. We ordered their fish and only to find out it was super dry, the meat of the fish was discolored, the oil it was deep fried in was old and the fish itself is not fresh whatsoever. I tried to complain to the owner and she ended telling me there is two options, fresh or frozen. I can't even communicate with this lady because i couldn't understand her English and I couldn't speak Vietnamese. She practically blamed us for not ordering their fresh fish. First of all the menu doesn't give us options to order fresh or frozen. Any customer who walks into your restaurant should be served fresh fish regardless and even if you don't, don't tell your customers you serve frozen fish!! Horrible experience. Will not be going back!
