"Why we love it: Group-friendly accommodations with all the conveniences of a modern hotel The Highlights: - A dedication to local businesses like Frothy Monkey and Nicky’s Coal Fired - An on-site chef’s kitchen for formal dinner parties - Two-, three-, and four-bedroom accommodations that are perfect for groups The Review: If you’ve been burned by lousy Airbnb accommodations but still need a group-friendly getaway, then Bode is the hotel for you. The property features classic single rooms as well as stylish two-, three-, and four-bedroom accommodations—each with fully stocked kitchens, some with balconies or backyards—that have the proportions and privacy of a home but the conveniences of a hotel. A concierge is on hand to book activities or dinner reservations, housekeeping is on demand, and local coffee, pastries, snacks, and spirits are available for purchase at the café market. There are also communal workspaces, a concert stage and tailgate area, a pub for light bites and drinks, and a fire pit for late-night gatherings. All this and a downtown location within walking distance of Nashville’s hot spots help make home shares a thing of thepast."

Awesome 3 bedroom in the perfect walking location for a concert at Nissan and for Broadway! Comfortable beds, big fully functional kitchen, amazing shower pressure. Excellent coffee and snacks at Dawn downstairs. Will book again.

I've never posted a negative review before because there is already enough negativity in the world, but I would never stay here again so hopefully this review helps someone not make the same mistake we did. The place looks nice and modern online but it's actually just an old apartment building painted black with the bare minimum done to sell it as a 'hotel'. They took the existing apartments and cut each one into two separate hotel rooms by adding a single interior door between them with a lock on both sides. This means there is absolutely no privacy from your neighbor. You can hear them whispering so if your neighbors like to stay up late, you'll be staying up with them. If they like to do 'other things' then you bet you'll be a part of it too. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was the original apartment's front door. It is a single room with a bathroom. There is a large window by the door that is only covered by cheap slat blinds. Even fully closed you can see people walking by your room while in your bed... Also the lights outside are on 24/7 so it never is dark in the room. Since the original apartment's thermostat was part of the other unit, all we had was a noisy and ineffective wall AC unit. When they pressure washed the walkway in front of our door, water would come through the many gaps between the door and the frame. They provide no services like daily cleaning. Normally I wouldn't care about this but there is only a single, tiny trash can in the entire unit so if you stay there longer than a single night you will have to carry your garbage from your room to the parking lot daily. The only reasonable improvement they could make is getting blackout curtains on each window. Every other problem stems from it being an old apartment complex with a fresh coat of paint. It would require significant structural renovations for me to ever consider it worth the price to stay here. The only positive I can give this place is that Nashville is a nice city and it's in Nashville.

We had the best time! The hotel accommodations are comfortable, clean and so cute! Bed was comfortable and the espresso martinis and iced coffees were the best. We were on a bachelorette and the 6 person suite was great! Perfect location with an easy walk to Broadway! I would highly recommend!

Google
Our stay at Bode was great! The beds are incredibly comfy, rooms are small but have everything you need and the outdoor space is great for sitting around the fire and getting away from the craziness of Broadway st. The location is great, a short walk to the sites but far enough away that it's quiet. ||The cafe was nice in the mornings and the staff was very helpful. Also very much appreciate key codes vs physical keys. Highly recommend!

Google
Wonderful stay! The front desk was so helpful. The third party we used to book the hotel incorrectly booked us a single room instead of a 2 bedroom suite. Laura at the front desk worked some magic and got us into a 2 bedroom even though the hotel was full. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great coffee, good location, relaxing atmosphere.

Google
The Bode Nashville is a unique place. No lobby and no personal check in. All interaction is done via text. Seemed odd at first but after spending 4 nights here really enjoyed the process. Even though most interaction is through text the staff is very prompt and helpful. There is a great Cafe in the front of the hotel that had people and can be used if the text is not helping. If you are going to a concert AC/DC or any event in Nashville this is a great place to call home base.

Google
Lovely venue and very close to Broadway. The onsite coffee shop and bar are great. We loved the three bedroom suite and had so much fun during out stay. Very comfortable. Walked to Broadway and the surrounding area every day. Took a quick uber to airport and also to 12South.

Stayed here in May and really enjoyed it. We arrived at around 1pm , park the car and took the 10 minute walk to the main strip.|About 30 mins later we received a text to say our room was ready. The text also contains your key code for entry to your room. For me this was a big plus, not having to wait until a certain time to go into your room. The rooms aren’t very big but are fine .|The is a bar ( open on w/es) and a cafe onsite.|Recommend this hotel as it’s a decent standard and excellent location.

Yelp
We always travel with the idea to expect some disappointments and be ok with it. This hotel was a major disappointment and we were not OK with it. The website images show you ample bedrooms. The rooms are extremely tiny. No closet, no dresser , just two nails on the wall (not kidding) and if you want to have room service you have to remove everything from the floor because they are a tripping hazzard to the maid. (the rooms are THAT tiny) And of course. Room service is extra. Self check in, no lobby. They website brags that the lobby has breakfast in it. Its a refrigerator and you grab stuff to go. The girl at the lobby which makes the coffees is extremely rude. Mimosas are in a 4 oz plastic cup. The rooms sound insulation. TERRIBLE. Extremely loud. They pretend to be a high end hotel for the pictures in the website and the price (plus 70 a night for parking) but they are like a cheap motel. After one night we were sleeping on the mattress cover. They didnt have fitted sheets so anytime we moved the tiny flat sheet that wrapped the mattress would come off. I asked for fitted sheets. None. When I told them about all of this they make it sound it was my fault for not reading the ammenities they offered. Hated the place. Please make sure you are getting your money's worth. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
This is for the coffeeshop/café downstairs ! I think this was the first of my coffee shops in Nashville that had me realize a lot of them are in hotel lobbies, which makes them very nice inside ! It felt very clean and there was a decemnt amount of seating and nice decorations. The employees were friendly as well. I ordered a coffee and some toast and thought it all tasted just okay. It was a nice place to do some morning reading.
google avatar

Yelp
Bode has a Halloween bar this October! It's called apotheca and while the decorations are minimum the drinks are what made me love it! Ditch the other Halloween pop up bars and come here for a chill night by the fire or inside with a great playlist and drinks that are actually worth it!

Yelp
I stayed at Bode for a recent work trip. Their space is super charming. My manager highly recommend this spot and I'm so happy she did. First of all, I loved their common space. I had a great time doing some work in the cozy environment. It had great music too. The people who work here are super cool and kind. They also have a nice selection of cafe drinks and snacks. I was able to check in about an hour earlier. I stayed in the pocket bode, which was a lot more spacious than I thought it was from pictures. The bed was very comfy. It was a great room. My only warning is if you're a light sleeper and you have neighbors, you can hear every word they say. Thankfully, I was able to turn on the fan which muted their sound a little bit. Bode is a bit different from the standard hotel. You get a code to enter to enter your room and the building. They offer bigger rooms for bigger groups too. They also have a cozy communal fire pit and cornhole. It was in a pretty central location too. I was able to walk to a coffee shop and breakfast place I wanted to check out. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Yelp
My daughter and I just took a quick trip to Nashville for a concert and stayed at the Bode. I am normally a hotel snob but didn't want to spend $500+ a night for this trip so we found this place and for the most part, it's great! Pros: Great location - within two blocks of Broadway, 10 min walk to Bridgestone Arena, The Country Music Hall of Fame and very centrally located for most things, Nashville. Super clean and well decorated with a fully stocked kitchen (minus food of course) so it was nice to be able to put things in a real refrigerator and freezer and cook a little dessert. Awesome water pressure in shower, A/C was perfection and the bed and sheets were comfortable! Staff were VERY quick to respond to every text I sent them, so the fact that there was not an actual person to speak to, face to face, wasn't an issue. Cons: PARKING - you pay for a parking spot in their lot if there is room - around 20 spots in the lot (you get a 50% coupon which makes it $35 a night - no problem there, you pay for valet at any hotel) but this is not valet AND parking is first come first served so even if you pay for a spot, you may not have one if you leave and come back. They said there was overflow parking nearby but it was a couple of blocks away so it would have sucked if we had to do that. Luckily, after the first day we were not there, it was not a busy time so it was fine but I could see where that would be awful if they were busy. You should have a spot guaranteed in their lot, if you pay for one. I live in Atlanta and use the pay lots a lot and know that it can be done. Next - I miss having a front lobby and a room inside a secure building (all rooms in this place open to the outside like a motel) - that is just the hotel snob in me though. Also, we were on the ground level with a little fenced yard in the back but the fence had a gate with no lock on it so as I did not feel comfortable sitting out there with my daughter, at night. There should be some kind of lock on the inside of that gate for guests. And finally, if you want to check in early they try to charge you a fee to do so. I have never had a hotel of any price tell me I had to pay if I wanted to check in early. if the room was ready, it was ready and if it was not then we waited. I understand check in times but if the room is ready, let me check in and don't try to charge me $40/$70 more to potentially only check in 1 hour early. Just not good customer service. Small thing - tv in bedroom would be nice. All in all, I would stay here again and recommend to others b/c the pros outweigh the cons but the parking needs to be resolved in order for it to receive 5 stars from me.

Yelp
I recently visited Nashville for the first time and opted to stay at the Bode. I absolutely loved this hotel. It is super cute, has the most lovely decor and the fluffiest pillows a girl could ask for. My room was clean and spacious. I got the pocket Bode, but they offer hotel rooms that have up to 4 bedrooms which is definitely fun for a group! The way Bode works is different than a traditional hotel. You won't find a fancy front desk and room keys. Instead you'll be greeted by the charming staff at their coffee bar, and receive a code for your Bode (aka room) as well as to enter your building. From what I could tell there were a few buildings , and while the hotel is open air with doors to your rooms facing the courtyard, each building is gated and you need an access code to enter. I'm always taking note of safety vibes when I travel alone, and felt super comfortable here. What I loved about the Bode was how friendly their staff was. It's definitely a quirky, fun vibe over here. The coffee bar has an amazing bourbon vanilla syrup for lattes, and sells beer and wine and other things you can enjoy in your room or their outdoor patio. The patio has firepits, which I definitely took advantage of. Make sure to make note of the daily specials in the cafe, as there is something offered at a discount most days of the week. In terms of location, this is less than a 10 min walk from the action downtown, but far enough away that you get a peaceful evening and stay. They also have a bar called Sidebar Nashville, which I will review separately next. Its to the left of the main entrance and absolutely fabulous. When I return to Nashville, the Bode is definitely at the top of my list for hotels. Thanks for a great stay.

Yelp
This place is absolutely charming. We stayed in, what they call, the pocket bode. The bed was extremely comfortable. I thought maybe it would be loud upstairs since we were in the first floor but we slept very soundly. I also appreciated their off site concierge checking in via text on the daily. The bar that is on site reminds me of a speak easy. It is eclectic and creative. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to certain drinks but these guys knocked it out of the park with their bartending skills. We enjoyed their cafe as well with daily coffees and a quick breakfast sandy. Super easy walk to downtown Nashville. We will be staying here again!

Yelp
This is a condo type place to stay. Although it was advertised as a hotel. No front desk or services except for a small shop that is in the front of the building building. That being said, it is very nice and seemingly safe. It is a long walk, but doable, to the touristy areas. Parking is extremely limited and there were multiple times when we had to pay for parking even though we had paid to stay here --which should have included parking. In spite of it being a condo, residential type, setting, we had a huge problem trying to get a delivery here. They actually opened our package and kept the box and delivered us the item unboxed. Completely unprofessional. Although this was only a suitcase, it could've been something private, confidential, or just none of their damned business. For the price, I would get a hotel closer to things.

Yelp
Charming and Very Hip hotel all in one. Great location, only 6 blocks from Broadway and all the Honky Tonks you want to visit. The hotel staff was so wonderful. Stayed only 3 nights in a 2-bedroom suite. Full stock kitchen (minus the food), Large main bedroom with a king bed. Small bedroom has a queen bed. Jack & Jill bathroom with 2 vanities (1toilet, 1 tub/shower). Large living room with a working guitar. Only 1 TV located in living room. Nice hotel property with 2 firepit area, corn hole board game, stage area with music on the weekends, weather permitting. Side Bar to get an adult beverage, coffee bar and with a small food selection in main lobby area and more. A Big Negative is Parking. There is plenty of park but there is a fee for that privilege, $40 per night and that is with the hotel discount of 50%. Yes, I paid $120 for 3 nights. This is why can only give Bode a 4-star rating. Pros: Location, Staff, amenities, Beds are comfortable, Security on guard overnight. Cons: Paying for parking and how overprice it was! The furniture in the room is a bit uncomfortable to sit on and relax.

Yelp
We were going up to Nashville for a concert (The Mavericks, which was awesome!) meeting my brother-in-law and his wife flying down from CT, and was looking for something like a 2 bedroom hotel. I found Bode, that was a couple blocks from Broadway and maybe a 4 block walk to Ryman's Auditorium. Checked some reviews and found a 2br/2 bath suite that would be perfect! We spent 3 nights/4 days walking everywhere in downtown, visited many of the "establishments", had a great time, great food and a great hotel choice! Check 'em out!
google avatar

Yelp
A solid and hip, 4-star hotel option, right outside of the main downtown area of Nashville! The bode (pretty sure, short for "abode") is a converted apartment building type, hotel. Wrap around rooms with outdoors staircases, coffee shop and registration desk in the center, Sidebar to the left and a concert/games area to the right. Access/entry is handled through text messages and key codes, in and out. Parking is available onsite but also open to the public, you get a discounted rate as a guest (phew!). Rooms are smallish and a bit dated but freshened up with the decor, fixtures, furniture. An electric kettle in the room offers up coffee-tea along with a cube fridge. The best part of Bode Nashville is its location. Just off the main strip (3 to 4 blocks), it means you can walk to Broadway but not hear the noise. It's on the intersection to two main streets so getting over to E. Nashville is super easy and it's walkable to Music Row. It's not a fancy hotel, but convenient and offers up some onsite fun.

Yelp
Hello everyone! So recently we found ourselves in the beautiful city of Nashville, TN and the surrounding areas. After performing some initial research on booking.com, we decided on staying at BODE Hotels in Nashville as it was the most cost effective option in the Downtown area in close proximity to all that was going on near the famous Broadway area and all the museums. At first we weee skeptical but after being there a day or two I have to say we were very happy with the accommodations and the layout of the hotel. So to start off there really is no front desk to speak of, everything is handled electronically and via text messaging with the hotelier staff. You would think this is a problem but happy to report that it worked out well. No issues at all to speak of and actually they were contacted ting is on a daily basis to make sure all was well and if we had any special needs or anything else we needed. Now they do have staff on site but these are mostly maintenance crew or cleaning staff. Additionally, there is a cafe on site that is open from 7 AM - 5 PM and it is a pretty cool spot to catch a coffee or light breakfast before going exploring. There was also an actual bar called the "Side Bar" I. Sure that was open until 11 Pm for anyone wanting to have a drink or nightcap before going to bed. Great place as well to hangout indoors our outdoors and mingle with the other guests as well. Was really a pretty cool vibe as well. Plenty of fire pits to go around and if playing corn hole is your thing there are a few of those around as well if that's your thing. I have to say that all the staff were very helpful and courteous. So you are probably saying hey Nelson what about the rooms man.... Good question. Our room was a little small but we did have a king size bed and the mattress and linens were heavenly so I am not going to dock them on our room size. The pillows were awesome and the bedsheets super soft. We were so tired one night I had a flashback from the "pillow" scene in the movie Stir Crazy. If you don't know what I am talking bailout just check it out on YouTube and get ready for a laugh. LMAO . Anyway, one thing I do wish they had was a digital safe in the room though but I imagine they may add these in the future. Either way we were really going back to the room to just sleep, shower and maybe catch some TV before heading off to dreamland. Bathroom was very good as well as the water pressure was excellent. TV is a smart TV so you can watch local TB or get your streaming apps hooked in to watch your favorite channels, movies or shows. By the way, everything is digital as their are no room keys. Once you check in they provide you with a digital key that opens your room and the main gate. Now the only thing I did not really like was the fact that they make you pay for parking. Not sure why this is the case but they did provide for a 50% discount overall with a QR discount code that is in every room. A company called Metropolis parking manages the parking for them. Truthfully, I thin for what we paid it should have been included but hey it is what it is. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and should we go back to Nashville to visit or anywhere else they have a property we will make sure to look them up and make a reservation. Even with the parking charges, I am still going to give them a Five (5) star review as for me service and amenities are important and I believe they covered those very well. My humble opinion guys and gals. So we spent about 4 days with them and the room cost (all inclusive) was a little less than $1,200.00 and the parking added about an extra $100.00 for a grand total of $1,300.00. For the location believe me it was very reasonable as we were walking distance from everything and really only used our car to visit a number off historical sites outside of Nashville. Hoping this helps you all out and wishing you a great time in Nashville! Be safe and God bless as well!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were spending one night in Nashville on our way back home from Birmingham. We quickly booked this place on Hoteltonight after booking a rough Air BnB on Music Row and having to vacate the premises because I wasn't staying there. The check in process was via online. When we got there at around 8pm, there weren't any humans on site. The parking situation was a QR code as well. The check in process wasn't fun. It was also because we were tired. The room was very nice. The bed was comfy. The room was clean, which is very important. The check out process was easy. In the morning, the place looked like a really cute spot to stay and enjoy. There were seating arrangements and games. It was a little noisy though sleeping.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, friendly staff And hidden location. This is part of what makes Nashville great. A non chain hotel that is a par of the community.

Yelp
I stayed at the Bode Nashville during a convention at the Omni. It's an easy walk to the Omni, just a few blocks and for the same price you can get a two bedroom two bath with a kitchen and balcony and actually have some space during your stay. The one bedroom rooms are really tiny so be aware of that. They rooms were clean and the check In and check out process, were all through text. You even get a text of the room key code. You can order food and drink prior to your stay to be waiting in your room such as a 24 pack of water. The "hotel" has a cafe/store that opens at 8:00am. A little late so be prepared to have coffee in your room if you are getting an early start. There is onsite parking for a fee and a few little gathering spaces outdoors. The "hotel" is a renovated old apartment building but did a great job with it and it's in a great location.

Yelp
As a visitor to town, I knew Nashville had a reputation for great food and music. Coffee was not on that list. That is, until my friend and I stopped in to Bode on a rainy afternoon and discovered that everything about this place is as good as any of the highest rated coffee shops in any city. Nestled inside a large, rather ominous hotel painted an inexplicable dark black, this coffee shop is close to downtown yet also off the beaten path. The gals who helped us were super nice and there was plenty of seating. Most important, the quality of the coffee was outstanding and I thoroughly enjoyed my iced coffee with a lot of cream. I also like that some thought was put into the layout. There is plenty of seating and outlets for those who may have to settle in with a laptop for a long period of time. They look like they have some tasty pastries as well, so it's worth a visit whether you are a native or just passing through!

Yelp
This review would be for the coffee shop on site which had such amazing coffee and even better vibes. Very relaxed with an at home feel, I had my coffee to go but its a great place to sit and enjoy the space if you have time. They also have a lovely outdoor space to enjoy.

Yelp
This will be the fairest review you'll read on Bode. Pros: The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and everything is pretty clean (except the duvet) and well appointed. Cons: 1. Parking is pay by QR code, and limited. Sure you can validate the parking for 50% off, but imagine how frustrating it feels to pay for a full 48 hour stay, only to leave for lunch and come back to a full parking lot. This was made even worse during our stay when, without more than a a few hours notice, we were asked to move our cars because the parking lot was going to be repaved the following morning. We were lucky enough to find new spots on the other side (as instructed) but only moments later we looked out the window and saw our cars being towed across the lot. Not impounded, just forcefully moved to a different location in the lot, risking damage to our vehicles. I was in disbelief they'd just move our cars via tow without asking - after we moved them! We ended up ubering around for the rest of the trip worried about losing our spots of being forcefully relocated again. 2. There is no fitted sheet nor duvet cover on the beds. Our beds were just a random combination of strategically tucked and layered loose sheets which look great in pictures but don't function well as actual bedding or protect the disgusting looking duvet which I assume (looks like) has never been washed one time. 3. Finally, the walls and windows are paper thin. This isn't a cliche, you could hear people simply walking around upstairs. Not running, just walking casually. And as mentioned this is a great central location - which means lots of outside noise and you'll hear alllllll of it staying at Bode. ...... With all of that said I'd consider staying again but next time I'd... 1. Not pay for the full weekends parking up front 2. Bring my own bedding and duvet 3. Bring earplugs

Yelp
My husband and I booked this hotel to be within walking distance of Nissan Stadium. It was rated four stars online, promising spacious, well-furnished, apartment-style units. We were aware that our Pocket Bode was 200sq/feet, so the cramped quarters were not a surprise to us. The interior of the space was noticeably dirty. The bathroom floor was unswept, the walls had countless scuffs and dents, and the carpet was old and stained. Each unit faces the outside hallway, motel-style. The window faced the outside hall, with only cheap blinds to cover it. One could EASILY see the person sleeping in the left side of the bed from outside. There was no fitted sheet-- just a normal sheet, tucked into the mattress. During the night, we heard countless sirens, honks and yelling through the thin walls. To cap things off, the parking was a nightmare. Upon arrival, we were told to park in the overflow lot across the street, run by Premier Parking. It was supposed to cost $20 after hotel validation, and we were charged $40, which we hope to resolve. The following morning, we walk to our car to find a $75 ticket and a boot attached to the wheel. We spoke to the manager, Erica, who profusely apologized and called the parking company, who arrived 45 minutes later. Erica was incredibly helpful and accommodating, as we were in a rush to leave town. Thank you, Erica! Due to the disappointing interior of the hotel, and the horrific parking situation, we will not return here, nor advise our friends to.

Yelp
Hotel is an old Motel 6 style property that has been renovated. Nice enough with tiny but efficient rooms. Our room - 104, was located under what I can only assume was an indoor basketball court that was open 24 hours. Nonstop pounding and noise from upstairs. We never saw a staff member. Checkin was easy online. Code to room door and gates around property. A 3 block walk to Broadway. Parking is tight and they charge $45/night. On our 2nd day we received a text at 3:15pm that we had to move our car as they were repaving a portion of their lot. If we did not move our car in the next hour it would be towed. At this point on a Sunday we were at the bar watching football a few drinks deep in no shape to drive. Informed management and they ignored my response. Needless to say they towed my performance car for the repaving. Extremely poor planning and unprofessional.

Yelp
Be careful. I made a reservation for a date over a month away, and they charged my credit card for the full price that very day. Then when I asked about it two days later they told me I would have to give them a 50 PERCENT CANCELLATION FEE!!! Never again with Abode, never again with Hotels.com!

We came to N'Ville for a concert, 5-day trip. We are not "resort" types. For us, a comfy bed, good, clean bedroom and a minimum of amenities are all we need. We wanted to be close to the clubs on Broadway but not so close as to have the party in our room. Bode was PERFECT! Room clean, bed comfy, bath perfect. Walking distance to Broadway and a number of amazing eateries. The unique thing about Bode is that there is no "front desk" or booking/concierge people at all. EVERYTHING is done by email or text. It worked out perfectly. We received a text a few days prior to our arrival if we wished order water, wine, champers, charcuterie boards, etc. When we arrived, the very reasonably (esp. for a hotel) case of water was in our room. That is not to say there is no humans working there. There is a quaint little shop what offers breakfast, snacks, coffees and assorted drinks that is open a good part of the day. Then there is the "Side Bar", a small bit comfy "club" with craft drinks and food as welk as great selection of bourbons. Oh, at very reasonable prices. Most surprisingly were the knowledge and talent of the bartenders who could not only put anything together what you wished but could suggest other drinks based on what you wanted. We went a few times and never left disappointed. Perfect in every way. I am sorry I did not get the 2 male bartenders but Georgia was amazing in building s drink. As check out is 11, unless there is an option for late, which did not happen for us, Bode provides a safe and secure locked room to store your luggage while you went about being a tourist. I spent a lot of time in N'Ville BITD, but was so surprised to see how much it has changed. My wife had never been there before and the day we left she said "the next time we come to N'Ville, we are staying at The Bode." THAT is a huge compliment. And I concur. We are looking forward to our return visit! THANK YOU BODE!!!!

Yelp
Looks like an old motel that got renovated. They did a great job with the look and feel of the hotel. It is very modern and minimalist. It was very minimalist that we didn't have a microwave or utensils but they have a cup and and coffee maker. I guess I have to use my fingers to stir my hot coffee. The new paint, drywall and carpet didn't hide the fact the hotel is old. The floors were uneven and squeaky. The walls are paper thin that I can easily make a conversation with the people from the next room. I like that they have a hub to get some goodies. People are friendly and responsive. First time in Nashville and I saw this hotel with free self parking. See picture. got there to find out that valet parking is the only option. And it's outrageous at $40 per night. The valet people are always there but maybe inside the hub to warm off from the cold weather.

Yelp
This is a great spot to stay in Nashville - particularly if you're health conscious because the rooms all have kitchenettes. And they're 2 bedroom as well, so it's a perfect setup for a young family. We had our 1 year old when we stayed there - and it worked out amazing. You can also book through airbnb, which was nice for us cuz we are also airbnb hosts. And it gives you a little bit more of an airbnb feel than a hotel feel (which we prefer). There's also a coffee shop on the property, which is great - and it's close to Hampton Social, which is a restaurant we like.

Yelp
Scrolling through Facebook one day I came across a suggestion to go have a drink here. I didn't realize it was a Airbnb/hotel setup that surrounded it, so this review is only for bar/outdoor area. The inside reminds me of a coffee shop that happens to serve alcohol. The bartenders were very nice and didn't mind me asking a bunch of questions! The outside has everything you need for a hangout session in Nashville: swings, rocking cars, a fire pit, ping pong, etc. All the elements you need for fun, without music or video playing on the screen. I hope to come back on the weekend when it's more lively.

Yelp
Perfect location, short walk from Broadway, close enough you feel like you are still in the action, far enough away from the noise & crowds. Speedy trip from the airport. Great design, fully stocked kitchen, relaxing ambiance both inside and out with a fire pit, game patio, porch swings, etc. will stay again.

Yelp
Stay here was overall ok. Small room and average for a hotel. Clean and friendly staff. The reason for the 2 stars us when you book we have found in the website that we used to book it it stated free self parking and also had the option for valet parking. Upon arriving it was valet only. Their valet was quite expensive. Almost $80 bucks for a day. And since there is no street or public parking anyplace close to them you basically have no choice. So although the room is a good price don't get fooled by the outrageous mandatory valet parking. Plus the valet parking is also sort of inconvenient as Everytime you wanted to go somewhere you had to wait for them to go get the car and then sometimes they were at the stand and such. They usually only had one worker working the valet stand. But if you don't have a car it's in a great location. Walking distance to honky tonk row. (in fact we walked there almost every night to avoid having to deal with the valet)

Yelp
We booked a 4 night stay through Airbnb. Upon arrival, which admittedly was around 9pm, I had not received any communication about check in and assumed there would be someone to greet us. The cafe was closed and no one was around. I went back to the app and nothing. So, I scrolled through emails and nothing. I asked a patron in the parking lot how they checked in and they had checked in through the cafe. Super frustrating. I finally reached out via the app & was sent a text message which linked me to a series of questions before I could check in...but we were finally able to check in. There are several entrance points to the building. You will receive a code for entrance which is a super nice, safety feature. It was a little confusing about which gate to enter, initially, to find our room but once we navigated the labyrinth, it was fine. The room did not disappoint. We had room #201 and it was on the corner of the facing downtown and the bridge! There is a giant tv in the livingroom, modern furnishings and spaces. The best part was the double French door that opened onto a small patio with chairs overlooking the city. It was hot but cooled off enough at night and in the mornings to really enjoy the space. The shower was AMAZING! The water pressure will not only remove all your stress but probably the first layer of dead skin cells...free exfoliation anyone? The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo/conditioner/soap. The kitchen & fridge were spotless and came with most of the basic essentials if you wanted to cook or prepare meals. In this unit, there is a smaller bedroom and a "master" suite which contains a closet and vanity. There is a smaller vanity area connected by a door to the toilet/shower room. Be prepared, if you like watching tv before bed, neither bedroom has a tv. Now, for the pros/cons: Cons: *Street noise can be outrageous. *There are displaced folks in the area but we had no issues & as previously stated, gates & doors are coded and secure. *Parking can be a nightmare. It's first come, first serve and some of the spots in the back of the building can be extremely difficult to navigate. There is a suggested parking lot about a mile + away from the building but 2 ladies, walking alone at night is not recommended. There are other parking areas but if you have a rental car, like we did some of the parking lots will not honor the license plate info. There is limited, paid street parking. The best spot we found for overnight parking was about 2-3 blocks away and I believe it was about $23 for the whole night (until 11am). *The neighbors can be noisy. We had some particularly "stompy" neighbors above us, literally all night. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. * The shower curtain had no liner so a lot of the water escaped the shower, which caused a bit of mold in the corner of the shower floor. * The French doors don't lock easily or securely which isn't a huge issue when on the 2nd floor or above but we came out one morning to the doors being swung open. A little shocking & a complete waste of energy. This could be easily fixed. * There is no ice machine! As someone who grew up in the South and loves my ice I was deeply disappointed...but they do supply ice trays and the cafe sells bags of ice on site which is fine unless you check in at 9pm. Plus, Covid...and in retrospect the idea of a shared ice machine seems pretty gross. So, I managed. Now for the fun stuff: PROS *Did I mentioned the AC is EPIC??! As a person who is hot natured coupled with the heat & humidity that is TN, I was in LOVE with the awesome AC! *Two words: Water pressure! * The beds were actually comfortable and I do not, I repeat, do not state this lightly. Prior to the trip I had hurt my back and was feeling some residual pain in my back & hips. I was VERY concerned about sleeping because it can make or break a trip. The beds were great! I slept like a rock (when the thundering herd of rhinos above me weren't on the attack) and the pillows were awesome! They had 4 big, fluffy pillows per bed! Seriously, the pillows were so nice. I meant to snap a pic of the brand before I left but I forgot. I'm kind of a pillow freak. (I have 10 pillows on my bed at home for context.) This alone might be my solitary reason for tolerating some of the smaller issues. * They have a cafe, bar with music and corn hole courtyard on site. *You COULD walk to downtown though we chose to drive and park. *Room darkening drapes. Need I say more? * Small bistro table & chairs located just outside our room. * We got to listen to the Jimmy Buffet concert for free out on our balcony. * The balcony for was just such a nice spot. Honestly, I could live in a place like BODE, if I was 20-ish. Overall, the place was pretty awesome. I would stay here again and I would recommend it but I gave it 4 stars because of the delayed entry, slight mold in the bathroom floor & parking. Other than that, it's a great spot.

Yelp
If you wanna stay at a $300 per night motel this is your spot. Rooms are tiny, zero amenities, a decent bar and coffee place. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer.

Yelp
Do not stay here, run!! This place sucks!! First, parking is not free and does not get validated. At night the parking lot becomes very sketchy as non guests were hanging out and accessing accommodations. The gated access is inconsistent on actually locking. Bode claims security is on-sight but I did not see a single guard Second, it is very evident that accessibility and safety are not a concern of Bodes. There is not an elevator and the stairs are rusted and falling apart. Third, the costumer service is terrible. I spoke with many employees who were all rude and seemed inconvenienced by basic hotel accommodations.

Yelp
Don't stay here if you plan on being hungover the next day lol it's a nice clean hotel and convenient location but it's very loud and you can hear anything and everything. Also everything is online(check in and parking) we were suppose to check in at 4 and I never got a code for check in I called 4 times to get someone to send a code so I could check in. And then the parking said 45$ after I paid on the app for it for over night parking at the hotel. I called again and said why is it $45 it's suppose to be $25 and then they sent me discount code. Like why do we have to go out of our way for every single thing and this place isn't cheap so they should accommodate people a little better. We also checked out 3 hours early due to the staff slamming doors, yelling and walking up and down the halls outside whistling. It was 7-8 am when they were doing this. They should know working there what kind of crowd stays there and probably is people out drinking on Broadway and don't get back to the hotel until 3 am and they are slamming doors and yelling at 7 in the morning so just beware of that if you want to stay somewhere peaceful and quiet and be able to sleep in the next day this isn't it lol and you're def going to hear sirens all day and night.

Yelp
Came here with family and stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. U can tell this place was freshly remodeled. It has a cool modern concept with a mini bar/store/ All the employees were amazing. The room was clean. Ac was cold. The street noise can be quite loud with ambulances driving by in the night . Would return if the price is right. Looking recently I wouldn't pay$500 a night for a 1 bedroom. We paid around that for a three bedroom

Yelp
We stopped in Nashville during our cross-country tour and stayed at Bode. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect from the moment we reserved. I liked the unique feel of staying here, and I really liked that it was far enough from the partying on Broadway. Parking is pretty easy, they have some spots in their lot, and they also have a lot right across the stress for parking. Check-in was easy, and we did not have to speak to anyone. All codes and information were sent before our stay for easy check-in. Staff is available by text if necessary, and they answer very quickly if needed (we contacted a couple of times). The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. One negative I have to mention is the showerhead. It was intense! You felt as if a firehose was spraying you. So beware, lol. My boyfriend and I still joke about it... that how memorable it was, lmao. Anyway, I would recommend staying here. They have a bar outside, a cornhole area, and even a fire pit. The place was nicely decorated for the holidays and had an overall cozy feel. There is no doubt I would stay here if I came back.

Yelp
Great location and I'm walking distance of anywhere downtown. There are many great off Broadway restaurants nearby and little stores to get snacks or necessities for your room. We had a three bedroom, plenty of room for three couples and it was great to have an area to congregate. The one downside, it was very noisy, near a fire station.

Yelp
DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE. They offer ZERO flexibility w adjusting reservations even though we're in the midst of the worst wave we've seen in this pandemic. So incredibly disappointed at the lack of care w customer service.

Yelp
Pros: I love the eco friendly/ minimalist use of refillable shampoo, conditioner, and soap in each room, and no unnecessary turn down service. I liked not having to do a formal check in or out, you just get a gate and room code when your room is ready. The bed and pillows were super comfy, too. Cons: the rooms are really small to be that expensive, and I would NOT recommend this hotel if you only need one room. I think it's a great concept for traveling groups of 2 or 4 couples that want adjoining rooms and living spaces. If you just need one room like we did, you don't know what you're going to get on the other side of that thin wall with an inside door. We, unfortunately, got the frattiest frat bros to ever bro. They were wrestling (we could hear every syllable of every shout) in a small room, so three times in the course of an hour they slammed into the adjoining wall. Once I was afraid the TV was going to fall and they definitely came close to smashing open/ cracking the door separating us. Again, maybe if you're traveling in a group and can control who is on the other side of that door your experience will be much different than mine. But $265 is the most I've ever paid for a hotel and there are luxury ones on the next block for less.

Yelp
We stayed here three nights for a long weekend getaway. We didn't have a car but it was walking distance to pretty much everything downtown. The staff was nice and very accommodating. We had a very spacious two bedroom at a great price. The bed was comfortable. It had a full kitchen. Their recommendation of Pinewood Social (within walking distance) became our go-to place for meals. Only mild complaint would be if the French doors leading out to the veranda had a blind or something to pull down I would have felt less exposed to all of downtown in the evening when we had lights on . Would definitely return here and / or try their other locations.

Yelp
Sorry but no amount of modern black paint and mid century furniture can make up for lack of basics. There was no toilet paper. There was no iron or steamer. There was no phone to ask for these things. Walls were thin and it was very loud. Correction: they have a text messaging service for room amenities- staff was nice.

Yelp
As I write this review - I am not sure I will be able to capture how special the Bode truly is to Nashville. Walking onto the hotel grounds with its black matte finish on the siding and whimsical decor put us in a relaxing space. Check-in was a breeze, with a text letting us know everything was ready (and it was early - without an extra charge). The two-bedroom apartment was excellent, with sunshine streaming into a very eclectic living room, picking up the hardwood floors. From the bright yellow couch with fuzzy pillows to the farmhouse table and crisp linens on the bed, this was a dynamite stay! Though we did not cook, there was a full stove and refrigerator with Cuisinart cookware. The coffee for the morning was this tasty chocolate cherry mix - yum! We each had a great night's sleep with soft yet somehow firm pillows. We visited the coffee shop only once to pick up some water - they were well stocked with a lovely variety of grocery items (excellent touch). We had a chance to explore the grounds and lovely areas to sit and chat - on picnic tables, around a fire pit, and even on a porch swing. One night we decided after being out we wanted a drink and some snacks. The bar provided an amazing spot to sit and unwind. The bartenders, Heather and Dylan, were so lovely and kind. Dylan got us our food, and Heather made drinks. They were excellent. The bar was so busy, and some patrons were not on their best behavior, treating Heather and Dylan poorly. They both handle the guests with courtesy, whereas this reviewer would have tossed them out on their entitled rears! We must remember a few things as travelers - we are guests in the city - whether it be Nashville, Charleston, Los Angeles, New York, or Salt Lake City. Travelers, please treat those in hospitality and the service industry with the respect they deserve. Nashville was a cool city, but the other tourists made it a difficult place to like. However, having a place like the Bode to return to and relax made it better! You will do yourself a favor to spend a few days in bohemian luxury if you stay at the Bode. Great little boutique hotel - with fabulous service!

Yelp
The hidden gem of Nashville! Trendy spot and does not feel like a hotel. Best spot to stay and close walk to Broadway. We have stayed here in the summer as well as the winter and enjoyed it both times. Summer was nice so you could enjoy the outdoor amenities such as the fire pit, corn hole, and picnic area. Very clean and everything you would need is on the property. *Parking included!*

Yelp
I'm a little surprised in the lower rating for Bode from other guests. I like the concept a lot - they message you the day of your arrival with your keyless entry code and room number and you can just arrive when you'd like without having to check in. Rooms were very clean, modern. Found a decent price on hotels.com (I think $159/night) compared to the high rates of other hotels in Nash. The bode hub (where staff can help, but also serves drinks, coffee, snacks) is great with a nice area to do work. Happy hour 4:30-7:30pm daily. Outdoor seating area with games like corn hole. 5-10 min walk to the heart of downtown. My only complaints would be that the room is a bit small, but worked fine for one person. Would recommend.

Yelp
Joseph had a huge storehouse in the middle of "the city." Thanks for the rich dispensing at the perfect time. I had a peaceful visit on Halloween. I'm happy and I hope all people flock to this place. Hospitality is a service. Everything was perfectly arranged. See you in the future. Thanks again.

Yelp
Such a great place this turned out to be for our large group traveling Nashville. It is walking distance or a short Uber ride to everything you need and the 2 bedroom we got was spacious and big enough to gather with our group on the daily. Easy check in and out process and if you need anything in between, the communication is great! We would absolutely stay here again.

Yelp
I bought a groupon deal for one of there rooms on April 12th, A few days later I found a charge of $172.88 on my credit card. I contacted (christina) front desk receptionist at the BODE located at Nashville and she looked up the charge on my credit card and she informed me it was due to evidence of smoking. I was completely shocked because I personally never smoke and haven't ever smoked anything in my life. Whatever evidence they found was not from when I stayed in that room. I find this very upsetting and disturbing that im being charged for something that I personally had nothing to do with. I also find it very disturbing that there is no Manager onsite or someone to speak to directly about this. All I was given was a email address to get a hold of corporate. I won't be staying here again unfortunately.

Yelp
From the moment all 6 of us arrived at Bode, to the moment we left, we were well taken care of. Ally was waiting for us at the front door with a big smile! She gathered all our bags for us so we could start taking pictures in all the Instagram able areas of the property. There are a million different areas for really cool photos - a true photographers dream. There is even an old red truck named Otis that's a must see haha! I love that one of their forms of communication is via text as that's my preferred method. Any questions I had were answered within minutes and the check in process was extremely easy! I don't know who the Bode's interior designer is but they NAILED it!!! I want everything in there!!! Such a cool vibe. We had a three bedroom that was extremely spacious with a full large kitchen, huge living area, and three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms- one was a jack and Jill style which was perfect! The cafe area in the main lobby/ hub area was full of tasty bites and drinks- I believe they said the pastries were from Frothy Monkey!! The cafe is where we met Heather and George who also work at Bode. They are amazing!!!!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful!! WE WILL definitely be back!!!! I highly recommend staying here if you really want to soak up the Nashville experience! I wish they had one in Los Angeles!! Ooooooo and San Diego would be great too haha! Just wishin!!!! Thank you Bode!!!

Yelp
8 of us stayed here. we got (2) 2 bedroom suites. Bedrooms were far enough away for privacy and we had 2 bathrooms. Loved the clean, chic, minimal style. Large, open concept common area w kitchen large island, fuseball table, living space and balcony made it easy for us all to gather in one place to join for drinks and snacks. We could order drinks grab a 6 pk (reasonably priced too), bottle of wine, or food from the hub. Also ordered some basic groceries from instacart at publix to keep in the kitchen. relaxed with some corn hole in the outside seating area. Easy walk to broadway and gultch. u could also scooter or uber. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Yelp
We decided to break up a long drive home from vacation. Nashville was the halfway point . We found this place by chance. The price was right and it was near downtown. Well, we were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our suite! The rooms were tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. The hotel is located just a couple blocks from great food, shopping and entertainment. The grounds were well maintained and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The only things that would have made it better... 1. Having a TV in The bedroom. We like to watch the news while getting dressed 2. There was no iron or ironing board in our suite. Luckily we had clothing options that didn't need to be ironed. 3. We would have liked to sit on the balcony when we returned from dinner but the light attracted every bug in Nashville. A switch to control that outside light would have been nice. 4. Our suite had no toilet paper when we checked in. My hubby had to go to front desk to request more. A phone in the suite to front desk would have been more convenient. Overall, its a beautiful property and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Yelp
Think Airbnb meets hotel but, better! Would highly recommend to people traveling with groups. Check-in was easy, no front desk. They sent us the key code and room number ahead of time. Short walk to broadway and downtown Nashville. This isn't your typical hotel since most of the rooms are multiple bedrooms. We booked a three bedroom and loved how much space we had with a full kitchen and living room. Courtyard space is awesome to hang out and grab a drink in the lobby area. Also loved outdoor fire pits, ping pong and corn hole!

Yelp
Great spot to stay the night in Nashville! We stayed in the pocket Bode for one night. Tons of cute outdoor space and convenient online check in, plus free parking. It's a very safe and convenient walk to Broadway. The room was so cute and clean, and my boyfriend commented on how powerful the shower head water pressure was haha. Also the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/ lotion smells AMAZING. Coffee spot and bar conveniently located on the property. My only complaint is that the walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors walking around or playing music.... but no one comes to Nashville just to stay in the hotel room the whole time right? We will be back and bring a whole crew next time!!
