I visited Bodeans Soho around 7:30 pm and placed my order about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, it took a full hour - until 8:30 — for my food to arrive. During that time, I saw other tables come in, order, and finish their meals before I even received mine.
I ordered the beef brisket, burnt ends, hot link sausage, and a side of fries. Sadly, all the meats were either cold or lukewarm - the only hot item on the plate was the fries. The brisket was particularly disappointing: some pieces were soft and juicy, but others were fatty, tough, and cold. The burnt ends were similarly inconsistent. The only real highlight was the hot link sausage, which had good flavor and was at least warm.
The same could be said for the service throughout - slow and inattentive. I actually wanted to order a dessert, but no one checked in after I finished eating. Given how long everything took, I didn’t bother in the end, as I wouldn’t have had time to wait for it.
To make matters worse, it then took another 30 minutes just to get my bill. Despite trying several times to get the attention of the waiting staff, I was largely ignored. It genuinely felt like I wasn’t even there.
Overall, a really poor experience - cold food, long waits, and inattentive service. I won’t be rushing back.
