Best fishing trip ever! Great for beginners! My friends and I caught some of the biggest fish out of the entire boat! full sized rock and ling cod. One of the guys was even lucky enough to get a king salmon! Everything you need is provided!( provided you bring the right amount for what you want). I'd say about $350 total. $200 gets you on the boat, $150(<-over estimating) for pole, gear, bait, fish gutted and cut plus tips for the deck hands.THESE DECK HANDS ARE THE BEST! Do not step on this boat if you don't plan on tipping the deck hands! They are the heart of the trip. From cleaning to setting your hooks and untangling lines when you're snagged they do it all at top speed the whole trip. Much respects to the crew and captain. We will be back again.

Rick and his crew are simply the BEST of the BEST. My family and I have enjoyed many outings on the New Sea Angler. We have caught many lingcod, rockfish, salmon and even Humboldt Squid. The boat is large and clean. Plenty of room to move around and distance. Best part...He will put you on the fish! Highly recommended!

The good the bad the ugly: Good: Rick the captain is energetic and good at finding fish and keeps the boat moving from spot to spot. Deck hands are very good, Ugly: the boat itself, it is an old beat up 1960’s fishing boat, looks much better from afar, once onboard it really shows its where and tear. Ugly: the price! Advertised $130 full day (8hrs) combo trip ......not true ! really $218!! Here is the break down $130 for trip, $48 for 2 sinkers, 2 rock fish gangions one salmon leader and a small box of bait $10 pole rental $10 fish cleaning $20 tip Total $218

Excellent sport fishing charter boat experience. Rock cod, salmon, crab. You can book individually or a large group for the whole boat. Capt.Rick Powers always gets em in his full day trips. Definitely my first choice.

I’ve made trips with Rick for 25+ years Unfortunately we can’t fish Cordell anymore ? ;( Good Captain, boat & crew. If folks think that the tackle & bait is too $ ? They should bring their own ;)

Overall it was a great trip. Limits on crab and rock fish. Bring at least $350 for each person.
