Bodega del Vermut

Strolled into the Old Town as we make our way to the Cathedral. Booth and Madge fancied a Vermouth (4.50€) so in we came. Proper Old Town bar. Tiny front room but larger rear space. Had some pan Catalan, anchovies and tortilla. All very good. Boss says this is the kind of little bar that makes travelling enjoyable. Just got in before their afternoon Pausa. One unisex toilet.

Place is excellent. The house vermut was really great, and refreshing on a warm, humid day. Service was awesome, and it felt like a off the beaten path neighborhood spot, which it is.

An amazing little Tapas bar, Bodega del Vermut, is well worth a visit. The street entrance leads to small bar area, but a larger space is to be found through a short passage left of the bar. Excellent vermut and delicious food. The tostas de salmon and tortilla de patatas were both outstanding. A lovely space and wonderful hospitality from the hosts. Highly recommended!

Authentic and delicious food and wine. Welcoming and warm atmosphere. So much different to many touristy places in Barcelona with overpriced and tasteless food. Definitely a top places to check and enjoy your evening.

The charm of Barcelona is the mystery of what incredible restaurants and shops await you around each hidden alley way. The Bodega del Vermut, aptly named after their homemade drink, is a simple yet marvelous restaurant. The decor is raw with beautiful paintings and inviting seats. The father and daughter duo add to the family-oriented warm beauty. Food was marvelous yet simple.

One of those places where you are in actual Barcelona, not in a tourist trap. Good food, obviously great vermouth. Most pleasant and friendly owner and staff.
