"Bodega is the spot to visit if you are in need of a super hearty breakfast sandwich or hair of the dog. The restaurant is an ode to New York City bodegas and even comes complete with walls of chips and candy in its takeout area. Popular items include the smoked salmon toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and the Gropfather, a twist on a chicken parm sandwich, made with pesto and nduja. There’s also plenty of boozy breakfast drinks for those in need." - Erin Perkins

"Uptown Hospitality Group, best known for Uptown Social (587 King Street), Share House (23 Ann Street), and Bodega (23 Ann Street) in downtown Charleston, has expanded to Mount Pleasant with the opening of a second Bodega at 414 W. Coleman Boulevard. Open on Tuesday, February 27, this location of the brunch-heavy restaurant has the same menu as the first location, with the addition of fresh doughnuts and a grab-and-go section. 'The way I’ve been describing Bodega to all my friends who haven’t been able to be here is that it’s just pure nostalgia,' says Alec Gropman, director of culinary operations and partner, 'For me, nostalgia means waking up on Saturday morning with no expectations, no responsibilities, and cracking open a box of cereal and watching cartoons for four hours. Whenever you walk into our space, that’s how we want you to feel — all of your responsibilities are just washing away. You can sit down and have some deep-fried Cinnamon Toast Crunch sticks and a bloody mary and just kick back and relax.' The interiors draw inspiration from New York City bodegas, with tinned ceilings, graffiti, and cabinets of canned goods and candies. The neon 'bacon egg & cheese please' is a nod to the best-selling bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. Other Bodega classics include smoked salmon toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and the Gropfather, a twist on a chicken parm sandwich, made with pesto and nduja. It also offers fun coffee drinks, like a cereal milk latte, and an extensive list of breakfast martinis. Bodega opens daily with the grab-and-go counter starting at 6:30 a.m. and the dining room opening at 8:00 a.m. Eventually, there will be a drive-thru window with orders starting at 6:30 a.m." - Erin Perkins

Overall a wonderful experience. Patio is fully covered and has great shade for a sunny day. Breakfast sandwiches and pancakes were phenomenal. Fun coffee options. Will definitely come back! Highly recommend for locals and out of towners.

Google
Love, love, love the food.. we had Gropmother and chopped cheese♡It's so delicious. Honestly, I can eat Bodega EVERYDAY!!! The lovely part is for people who are in a hurry and wanna grab the best bite of food.. they have a drive thru as well!!

Google
Went for the first time today, and would absolutely go back! Had absolutely amazing options- got the Cali bowl (fresh ingredients, amazing flavor), a flavored cold brew ( 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻), and a bloody mary (justttt the right amount of spice), as well as some desserts shared with friends (10/10 would rec anything sweet). Service was fantastic even going at a very busy lunch time and outdoor seating was clean and enjoyable!

Google
This place was amazing! DO NOT MISS OUT- GO HERE! The owner met us at the front, introducing himself and greeting us with mini donuts! He was very kind- he walked us in and gave us a brief “tour” of where and described the ordering process. The food we ordered was so GOOD and filling, my husband got the Arthur ave sandwich and I got the Cali bowl. Delicious, and totally recommend. The atmosphere was very pleasant too. It’s very bright and happy feeling! And while we were enjoying our food the owner stopped by and gave us 2 donuts and banana pudding on the house :) overall this was a lovely experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in the Charleston area!

Google
Good food options for breakfast/brunch/lunch. What really made me leave the review was the amazing and sincere service. There was a ceiling leak next to where my wife and I sat. They offered to move our table away and came back later with some sweet treats for us, on the house! The staff definitely care and try their best even with huge brunch rushes. Great atmosphere even on a wet day.

Google
5 stars all across the board for this lovely spot!! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the outdoor dining is just so peaceful and relaxing! The food was tremendous!! I got the BLT and my husband got the Cali bowl. The BLT was absolutely incredible with the sauce and the service was in incredible too!!! ❤️🙌 Great choice of menu items, an extremely healthy option in this world of junk and fast food and it's very affordable too!! Bodega is where it's at!!! 💕

Google
Amazing place to grab a bite and a good drink! We stopped in one weekend for lunch and were not disappointed! The sandwiches are delicious. Had the best avocado toast I’ve ever had! The hibiscus tea was so delicious. The chopped cheese is the best sandwich’s ever! The atmosphere was popping and the decor was super cute! Also they have a drive through in the back which is convenient for people who prefer takeout. All in all great place to grab a simple but good quick meal!

Google
This place is a 5 star experience in all aspects of the word. Alec the manager made us feel so welcome. We came for breakfast two days in a row - that good. We ordered the bodega platter and cali bowl. Both were SO FRESH and delicious. For coffee we got brown sugar cinnamon lattes and then second day we got PBJ lattes which were PHENOMENAL. The strawberry cold foam was top tier. Not only was the food terrific, the ambience makes it next level. We sat outside and enjoyed the heater outside. Alec was so thoughtful and brought a dog bowl for our puppy! We also had the espresso martinis with their speciality peppermint cold foam which was a perfect end to brunch. All I can say is you need to get there for breakfast or lunch ASAP.

Yelp
"Why are you smiling right now?" That's the question my wife asked me right after I took my first bite of "the Gropfather" sandwich from Bodega. Well, I've never been able to hide my emotions, especially when it comes to food, and the Gropfather just makes me happy. This sandwich is truly delicious. The delicious breaded chicken, the fresh cheese, pesto and spicy nduja sauce all come together so nicely on the tasty ciabatta roll. I liked the sandwich so much, I came back the next day! I am looking forward to trying other sandwiches at Bodega. And if they are all this good, I foresee a lot of happy eating in my future.

Yelp
This place is very good. We went for an early lunch and the food was quick and delicious. The service was nice and the place was really clean. It's a chill little spot. I got the local beer and my wife got the Bloody Mary. Both were amazing. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely go again.

Katherine C.

Yelp
The decor here is great- so cute and well thought out. Would be an awesome vibe on the weekend. However, the food is meh. The fries tasted like old Wendy's fries... we ordered Togo it came out within 5 minutes and the food had clearly been sitting there instead of prepared to order. The sauce on the smash burger is good, but nothing rave about... and that's the only redeeming quality of the burger. It's essentially a McDonalds burger and in this case a lukewarm McDonalds burger. I will say the service was fast, efficient and the employees seem to enjoy their job which is nice! I will have to try something different next time.

Alexandra K.

Yelp
Everything about this location is quick--quick parking, quick orders, and quick food times. So, if you're traveling through Mount Pleasant and in need of something quick, come to Bodega. As a fan of the downtown Charleston location, I felt this one was better in every way. However, I only give this location three stars just because the food (although quick) came out cold and tasted rather mediocre. It was good! Yes! However, as a self proclaimed burger lover I felt it lacked a lot luster.

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Would go back, but definitely would not order those sandwiches on ciabatta bread (and I love ciabatta) because they don't butter and toast the bread. It was soooooooooo dry we couldn't eat the bread. Ciabatta needed buttered, pressed on a hot pan to give it that buttery, crunchy, yummy, toasted bread! The server recommended we get them on sourdough or in a wrap next time. She gets them in a wrap and really likes them versus the thick dry ciabatta. Both sandwiches also needed more of the sauces. The Italian dressing was minimal and so was the chipotle aioli. The hit of the day was our drinks. My friend loved her Bloody Mary that's made with pickle juice and I loved my peach margarita!!!! The vibe is hip and has a very colorful fun theme. It was a $75 lunch after 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches, tax and tip.

Yelp
A warm day but the six of us sat out on the large deck in the partial shade of a really big, tall oak tree, around which the deck (in part) was built. An attentive server got our drinks and gave us our requested time to review the menu, and checked back regularly. A star of a waitress! I had the unusually named sandwich (they say it's a "sammy") "The Cow" shown in my photo. It was delicious but it had ketchup and a hot sauce, which when combined together, was quite tasty but a bit sweet. I would be remiss if I didn't warn you that it really was messy/slimy such that you would go through a couple of napkins, or at least I did. The menu made it sound quite tasty as it described it as double bacon, egg, white American cheese, home fries, ketchup and hot sauce. It was a bit unusual in that the home fries, were small cuts of potato which had been cooked and then placed in the sandwich. Yes, I expected a side of home fries, but that obviously was not the case. I thought about taking a star off due to the overflowing sandwich and the lack of home fries on the side, but it was so delicious overall that I settled on a full 5 star experience.

Yelp
We already loved the Bodega downtown but now there's a Mount Pleasant location. Just as good as the previous one, same great menu and service! Love the specialty and rotating latte options! I always get the Classic Sandwich with GF bread. Love there is an option for GF with sandwiches and pancakes! There is indoor seating and huge outdoor patio, with good parking options! Perfect brunch atmosphere!

Megan L.

Yelp
A great spot for a bite to eat! I decided to try the drive-through today after seeing this place featured on my social media feeds. The cashier was incredibly helpful, especially since the drive-through menu doesn't list the details of each sandwich and I was unfamiliar with the menu. He was patient and guided me through my choices. I went with the diner club sandwich and an iced strawberry matcha. The strawberry cold foam was delightful, adding a perfect touch of sweetness. However, the matcha itself was a bit more watery than I expected. The sandwich was generously filled with toppings and quite satisfying. After tip and tax, my total came to $26.85, which is a bit on the pricey side, but it's a solid option for a quick meal

Yelp
My daughter and I came for a late lunch. I have been wanting to try Bodega. It's such a cute restaurant. It has a great outdoor area. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on the Kaiser roll. I ordered an iced milk and cookies coffee and added the home potatoes. My daughter is picky, so not the greatest place for picky eaters. She orders a turkey and provolone on ciabatta and a can of coke and a bag of chips. My total was $50!!! I was shocked honestly. It's a fast casual setting. My potatoes were cold and had no flavor. The star or the show was definitely the coffee. My daughter's chips were expired. I am a huge supporter in the food industry. I understand the food prices and economy. However our meal was not $50 worthy.

Emma P.

Yelp
This place seems like it's gets a lot of hype ... but I wasn't impressed. The service was great, our waitress was amazing and super helpful. I asked what was popular items and she told me the cheat day bowl was popular and really good, so that's what I got. I was super disappointed. The home fries tasted like when you bring home leftover french fries and try to reheat them but they just don't taste right. The gravy was good and the egg was cooked perfectly, the sausage was "so so" I also got a chocolate ganache latte and I'll take ownership on this one, it was way too sweet... I should have known better that it would be. Everything came out super quickly so I appreciate that, and the vibe is really cool but it's not a classic bodega so keep that in mind.

Yelp
What an amazing renovation. This establishment brought back memories... Pre Andos, Blue Mango, even back to the original Hardee's... The vibrant atmosphere draws you in and keeps you coming back for more. Lining the front when you walk in true to its name, like a Bodega... Packages of Saltines, Kraft, cereal, Coke... you name it-- the staples! Plus, Merch! Booths of cartoons and colorful graffiti greet your inner child... The bill even comes in a DVD clamshell The drinks are fun, delicious and can't beat Happy Hour where even their GIANT drinks are half off! Oh yeah... We did snag an over-stuffed Sammie while we were there. Gluten Free Bread (Udi's), add bacon to the Italian and drink in the perfection in every bite. Can't wait to return and bring friends. Just make sure you're ready for a wait or come on the "off-not-so-busy-times"...

Cheryl G.

Yelp
Last minute late lunch was perfect and we closed them down. Tatiana was great to us!! Sandwiches perfect. Drink MEGA SPECTACULAR!! Can't wait for a Do-over to try some more awesome eats and Adult Beverages!! Plenty of parking. They offer outdoor seating and an outside bar. Great laid back place!

Chris L.

Yelp
I would have given this five stars, because they've done an amazing job renovating this from the old Andolinis!! It's beautiful inside, and very eclectic! It made me beyond happy to see the jungle book on a TV, then Scooby-Doo as well as the Jetsons! They have the place decorated just like a bodega!!! I've been here a few times now, so I feel like I can give a good review. Make sure to look at their special menu for the day! They always have some great food and drink specials there. Of course the main menu is fantastic as well. I particularly liked the adult shots that were available! I have ordered breakfast/brunch/lunch here! The last time I had the Gropfather and it was amazing !!! It is a bit spicy , but I imagine you could ask for less spicy. It has a wonderful Njuda spread ! My daughter in law had the salmon Benedict and my daughter had the Gropmother (vegetarian) everyone was well pleased and full when we left. The only reason for 4 stars is that the floor is VERY SLICK! Even the chairs slide way too easy! Difficult for someone with trouble walking (medical brace). Way to go Bodega staff! It is a great experience!!

Daina H.

Yelp
I would agree with others. Clearly they have executed on branding. The vibe and outside area is fun. The food is absolutely average at best as are the drinks. And very expensive for what you get. BLT was salty and egg and cheese on Kaiser very disappointing For the price I would head elsewhere. Skip the fun colors, T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats and improve the food.

Tiffani W.

Yelp
Great sandwiches and great drinks. What more could you ask for? Oh amazing service and wonderful outdoor seating. I can't to try breakfast

Mike T.

Yelp
Came here for a late Mother's Day Brunch. Food was amazing. Pastrami Benedict, Big Apple pancakes, Diner Club all highly recommended. Vitamin C Martini was crazy good. Espresso Martini too. Did a nice job redoing Andonlini's... nice retro vibe. Good tunes in the background. Very happy. Thank you.

Kara W.

Yelp
I asked what the most popular sandwich was and they recommended the Gopfather. The girl at the widow was super sweet and personable. The sandwich ended up being extremely spicy on one end and not so much on the other. I split it with my husband and my side had a ton of chili flakes and my mouth was burning, where his did not have as many flakes. The flavors were unique and it would have been good if I could take anything else other than spice. My husband said he would have liked his side if it wasn't so dry. We ordered out to go, but it looks like they have a nice casual seating area outside.

Madison C.

Yelp
This location is wonderful! It's so convenient, but parking is somewhat limited. The food is delicious, and the drinks are great! You might have to wait for a table, but they have plenty of tables inside and out. The employees had great recommendations, and they were kind. I'll definitely be back!

Angela V.

Yelp
Phenomenal service, excellent food! The donuts were incredible, the balance bowl was perfectly seasoned.

Chris Z.

Yelp
Like several others we first went across the street to Viscous Biscuit and were surprised by the very long lines. When you are hungry, you sometimes don't question why the place across the street has plenty of tables... Service was friendly and the place was clean which pushed this from one star to two, but food was pretty poor quality. Pancakes were old and dry - think a stale cookie you can crack pieces off. No issue sending it back and server was apologetic, but we declined a replacement. I had a breakfast sandwich which was ok, but was definitely made much earlier in the day. If you are across the street at Viscous Biscuit and the line is long, you really should just wait.

Sarah-Bradley D.

Yelp
Bodega was always one of my favorite spots while living downtown so I am thrilled to have a location in MTP. There's definitely more space to this spot especially on their large patio and I am really excited to see the drive through up and running. The godfather remains my favorite sandwich (sub Kaiser roll) but you really can't got wrong with anything on their menu. Highly recommend!

Taylor G.

Yelp
If you're looking for a sweet treat that's simple but hits the spot for a sugar craving, the Cinnie Sticks are worth trying! We grabbed seats on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I also ordered the latte's favorite cookie as an iced beverage which was an absolute win! Our server was attentive.

Tara P.

Yelp
Really cute spot with fun decor and cool atmosphere, especially for kiddos with the cartoons playing in the morning. The paper placemats and crayons were well done and fun. We stopped for breakfast Saturday morning and enjoyed the kids pancakes, and the bodega classic sandwich with vegan breakfast sausage. The pancakes sat under the hot lamp for a while and while we were warned, the plates were so hot the kids could have easily been burned if I didn't have them wait to eat. The sandwich was good, but the vegan breakfast sausage was actually a beyond or impossible patty so the flavor overall was not breakfasty. Our server was friendly and attentive but very quiet. We didn't try any of the fun drinks so that might be a brunch try! Not the best breakfast spot but works in a pinch!

Tanner M.

Yelp
Came to Bodega for breakfast and had a fantastic experience! We were seated right away, and the service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Nutella shaken espresso, which was absolutely delicious. For food, I had "The Cow," which came with double bacon, home fries, and a perfectly fried egg with a pre-popped yolk--no mess, just pure enjoyment. My girlfriend ordered the original breakfast sandwich with bacon and loved it. Both sandwiches came on a Kaiser roll, which was a nice change for us since we're usually English muffin fans. Overall, a great spot for breakfast, and we'll definitely be back to try the Bloody Mary!

ALLISON G.

Yelp
Food is hit or miss...the gluten free pancakes are yummy but the potatoes are wayyyy too salty and usually dried out. Last time we went we decided it was our last after getting not so great service from the hostess and server...we didn't love the table we were sat at, crammed in a corner with other people and a dog snarling at us so we asked to be moved to a space less crowded and the hostess did not know how to handle it. It resulted in the server saying something rude to us about asking to be moved. All she had to do was apologize and move on and it would have been fine but it's line she just couldn't resist getting a word in about it. I feel this staff needs a lot more training.

Aaron R.

Yelp
Bodega definitely overexcited expectations. Delicious sandwich got the grobfather from the bartenders Tatiana's suggestion. Nice pairing of the fried chicken cutlets, mozzarella, pesto. Delightful. She was entertaining and fun. Chef/owner Alex was nearby and super generous with his time, suggesting things to do/eat at in Charleston and shared the vision behind Bodega. For breakfast/brunch/lunch strong suggestion. Creative entrees, drinks, and coffees. Lively, fun, upbeat atmosphere. All the workers seemed to love working there and worked together really well.

Melissa R.

Yelp
Arrived at 12:15, no parking. I did a couple laps, but the small parking lot was full. Businesses in the area all have tow away signs if you are not a customer. We ended up going to lillie fuel, and purchased a custom hat, then asked if we could stay parked and walk to Bodega to eat; she said yes. After walking over, we were sat immediately. Service was kind, but a but slow on food. Hubster had the Cheat Day Bowl; potatoes were cold, gravy is more herby than a traditional southern sausage gravy, it needed a bit of garlic or cayenne in my opinion, but the eggs were cooked perfectly. They were out of the hibiscus tea, but our server recommended a dandelion peach, which was delicious iced! I had the Gropfather with a side of fruit. The sandwiches do not include a side, so the fruit was an additional cost. The sandwich was a bit dry, and I would go without the Nduja next time( I did not realize it was a pork spread). The fruit side had the soft texture like it had been sitting in the syup since early morning, I wasn't a fan. Cute place, great portions for the cost, non-traditional take on the classics.

Bailey S.

Yelp
The food & service were GREAT! It's such a vibe! One of the best breakfast sandwiches ever!

Jane L.

Yelp
Great food and drinks! Breakfast has always been terrific but tonight went for dinner and it was great! Best chicken cutlet sandwiches, smash burgers and drinks! Outside dinning - love the new system of ordering and then having food delivered! Great place for early dinner with kids! Try it- you will be happy you did!

Emma P.

Yelp
I am a bodega Stan, we loved the one downtown so when I heard another was opening up in my pleasant I had a countdown going on! Such a great addition to the area. We love the breakfast classic sandwich or the cow but I've been also known to order the chicken salad sandwich at all hours of the day... yes for breakfast... anyways you really can't go wrong with any selection. Their bacon is fire though and the break I forget what it's called but it's a roll I believe so fluffy and yummy. Coffee pretty good! I love the new location it'll be so nice in the summer to hop in or grab to go for the beach day! My only small complaint is parking. It was hard, I tried the parking lot and it was packed and no one knew where to go or get out. I did go on a Sunday during rush so perhaps that's it but I had to park near kicken chicken. Just know it gets very busy but they are so easy and helpful there so it's definitely a must.

Kaley C.

Yelp
The food is great at bodega, I like both the downtown and this location. Our waitress was nice, the check in podium girls didn't seem to want to help seat us though. I was confused and asked them if we needed to check in and they seemed baffled we wanted to be there. I do prefer the order at the counter and sit down method of service VS sit down with a waitress/ waiter service like this is. I imagine this is a cost cutting method for the managers so the consumer is paying their wages through tips rather than them getting an hourly wage. I hope this model supports the serving staff, but it isn't a model that I like for a casual breakfast place like this.

Sara D.

Yelp
Fun visit. A little overpriced. Very loud inside. Service decent. Just opened so they are figuring things out!

William F.

Yelp
For our 32nd anniversary, we are just out and about. Instead of going to Vicious Biscuit which is a 5.0, we decided to go across the street to Bodega. Didn't realize the Yelp score. The food was OK. I ordered the signature bodega breakfast and I was not impressed. The fries were just diced and had no flavor added. Very displeased. Eggs were OK. Sourdough toast is OK. Bacon was more chewy and anticipated. They probably were cooked at 6 AM. The main reason I don't recommend this place is because we traveled all the way from Johns Island (15 miles). I definitely will not come back here again just to eat at Bodega. But if you live in the area, and you're hungry and you want slow service, come here.

Olivia B.

Yelp
Our first time trying the bodega after hearing all the hype, we were so disappointed. The sandwiches were $14 dollars each and both our sandwiches were thrown together and missing ingredients. We ordered the club and it had zero sauce and zero bacon. We would've been fine with whatever if it was cheaper but it was so bad and expensive. Sad because we were excited!

Kate R.

Yelp
I have been here several times (downtown and Mt. Pleasant), and have consistently enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The food and drinks are excellent. I have nothing but positive feedback.

Charlotte F.

Yelp
i've been here for brunch so many times and every time it's excellent! It can be a little bit pricey, but it's so worth it and has a great atmosphere.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Cool retro cartoon vibe! Tasty drinks get a strawberry mimosa or spicy bloody!!! Food meh!!! Don't get the avocado benny! Home fries Sysco frozen for sure!! Cheat Day breakfast bowl pretty good. Bodega classic 2nd runner up for food!!! You gotta go at least once!

John H.

Yelp
Excited to try this new spot for breakfast! Unfortunately, we were seated and waited 15 minutes and never even got a coffee to start, so we left.

Jill J.

Yelp
Food was sub par - so disappointing for MP..maybe we just were there on an off day ! Hoping will be better next time!

Paul H.

Yelp
Great location, great service, adequate food, but worst playlist in a restaurant I've experienced in my entire life. Perhaps appropriate in a strip club or biker bar totally robbed me of my appetite. Drove me out in 20 minutes.

Cheryl H.

Yelp
I was with a group of people celebrating one person that we all knew, but did not know everyone within the group. First the prices for all alcoholic drinks were definitely gouging anyone who ordered one. I ordered from the bar waiting for others to arrive. 4 alcoholic drinks, 1 Bloody Mary, 2 vodka Red Bull and 1 tequila Red Bull, only 1can of Red Bull was used for 3 drinks, along with the Bloody Mary in a medium size glass. The bill for these 4 drinks was $62.00 plus a $5.00 tip!! I have never been in any establishment that only would accept one credit or debit card for a group of people, celebrating one person they all knew, but did not know each other. The bill for this brunch celebration was over $800.00, that you would only allow one credit card be used for the entire group!! Needless to say he was stiffed by most of the people there for the birthday brunch celebration, because he was nice enough to pay!! This is a young father of 3 children who should never had to pay for people he never met before!! This is a practice that never should have been a rule!! I got all of my drinks directly from the bar and paid as I got them. But the last drink I got was a Bloody Mary. I was told it was $13.50 at first, then the bartender came back and said it was now $15.50. I could not believe what I paid $62.00 for 4 drinks, but to come back and tell me the price had changed to $15.50, was so outrageous, I definitely knew your establishment was price gouging it's customers!! I know everyone thinks that Mount Pleasant is an uppity rich community, but most of the LOCALS ARE NOT RICH, but just lucky to have been born here!! To price your menu and drinks so high, most of the original locals cannot afford to enjoy your establishment, I am one of those locals, that will never visit your establishment again! I also will tell all of my friends that you gouge people and even change prices in the middle of a transaction!! You are not the only establishment opened by someone from the North or bought an established restaurant and made really terrible changes to the menu and prices. You had a very busy Sunday morning brunch, because of all the visitors in town for the Bridge Run. With the summer season ahead, you might get more out of town customers, but I can tell you that you need to make some changes to attract the locals, who love Okra Grill, I-Hop, or McDonalds for decent prices and great Southern Food, like GRITS!! It is what most of us locals were raised on!! It was also chilly that morning, but you did not turn on the heater on the porch until people were getting ready to leave. Nice to think about it when the it was at the end of the celebration.

Yelp
The general atmosphere is decent. The food was subpar. The "cinnamon sticks" were simple pre fab French toast sticks fried and tossed in cinnamon sugar, not even served with syrup. The peanut butter sauce for the pancakes was somehow more bland than Reese's peanut butter sauce. With other food items, two eggs "any style" as long as it's scrambled OR fried. Can't make a simple poached egg. The bread for the product my mom ordered wasn't even toasted. And to top it all off we couldn't get breakfast cocktails because despite bringing out the drink menu they don't serve liquor until 10. The service and summed up experience is mid. Better food is right across the street at Vicious Biscuit.

Yelp
I ordered the eggplant sandwich and there was no pesto whatsoever, it was extremely spicey and greasy and probably the worst sandwich I've had in my entire life. The servers were great but that's the only positive. The salmon eggs Benedict was served with gray and extremely slimy salmon and really just disgusting and we love salmon. The "chopped cheese" was the better item to choose but definitely not healthy. Just another restaurant around here with unhealthy blah food.
