This place has zero integrity.
My son celebrated his 23rd birthday at Bodega last night and purchased bottle service, spending over $1,200 for a table. Three hours into the night, staff told him they were taking his table because they had sold it to someone else. Let that sink in — they oversold the table and chose a bigger payout over honoring a customer who had already paid and was actively celebrating his birthday.
They then shoved him and his friends to a tiny corner with no seating, after promising they’d give him another table. When my husband went to try and save the situation, the management gave so many excuses saying “they had to make money.”
Bottle service is supposed to be a premium experience. Instead, they treated paying customers like they were disposable the moment more money walked in the door. This was nothing more than a cash grab.
The only person who showed any professionalism or respect was the bouncer at the front door. Everyone else we dealt with was dismissive, rude, and completely unconcerned about ruining a birthday celebration.
And yes — when a group of young Black men spends over $1,100 and gets pushed aside the second someone else offers more money, it raises serious questions about both their values and their judgment.
What should have been a memorable night became a humiliating experience.
If you’re considering bottle service here, don’t. Once they have your money, you don’t matter.
Zero stars. This place is deceptive and customers need to be warned. I’ll be reporting them to the Chicago of Chicago, Illinois Attorney General, and Better Business Bureau.
