Bodega Taqueria is hands-down one of the best spots around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The tacos are loaded with bold flavors, and the drinks are top-notch, perfectly balancing the whole experience. The atmosphere is vibrant, fun, and welcoming, making it a great place whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends. On top of that, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. I was attending by Norbz & he was wonderful. Very attentive & knowledgeable of drinks. Definitely my go-to spot.

This is not Mexican, don’t expect good authentic food. You can tell starting by the sauces and tortillas.. then an Esquire with sweet corn! 🤢

I’ve been going to Bodega for the past 4 years and considered myself a regular. It used to be one of my favorite spots — no cover for females, good vibes, and a fun crowd. Unfortunately, it’s completely changed. This past weekend my friends and I (a group of 4 females) were told we had to pay $50 each just to get in, which is absurd and nothing like what Bodega used to be. We even asked for a friend of ours who works there, but the girl at the front refused to call him over or even let us say hi. Instead, she kept insisting on the cover. We left and came back multiple times, but they wouldn’t budge. The whole interaction felt controlling and unwelcoming. On top of that, the service has gone downhill and the crowd seems much younger than it used to be — to the point where it feels like underage people might be getting in just for the money. Bodega is not the same place it once was, and unfortunately they’ve lost a loyal customer. I would not recommend it anymore.

Google
For all the taco lovers, unfortunately bodega has disappointed us. I ordered 3 tacos 2 chimichurri & 1 barbacoa ( chimichurri had too much sauce couldn’t even taste the meat with the thick layer of sauce. The barbacoa was alright, it tastes like they have gone down in quality. I remember looking forward to their tacos but now not so much or at all, such a waste after a long day of work. Hopefully this helps

Google
I like this place. Good to grab something quick to eat. Amazing birria tacos and they have a hidden bar inside which I love it’s super fun!!

Best tacos I have ever had. The brisket is my absolute favorite! The women behind the counter are awesome. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and engaging. Always makes me feel welcome. YOU HAVE TO TRY TJIS PLACE!

Google
It’s pretty good. The tacos are small and expensive but tasty and surprisingly filling. Atmosphere is ok. Staff were really good. Very nice. I’d say give it a try with modest expectations.

First time going here, went with 5 other girls & the nightlife was amazing! Kathryn was our service girl & she was amazing! Extremely attentive & kind through the night. I’ve been to many spots in Miami & have NEVER received such amazing treatment, even in VIP. Milo also took care of us & even made sure we were safe & comfortable throughout the night. This place is 10/10 if you were looking for a fun & safe night out. We will be back!

Yelp
I come here At least once a week and that's only because I live 30 minutes away. Hands down the best tacos I've ever had. The Brisket taco. I'm telling you, it's to die for. The people behind the counter actually understand what customer service means! I'm a huge fan.

Yelp
Meh. That's the only reaction I got from the tacos. Given I am from LA, I have high expectations on a taco. I approached this restaurant with an open mind. I really wanted to like the food as I remember smelling great aromas from the kitchen the times I entered their club/bar on weekends. My biggest disappointment was the cold ass tortillas used for the tacos. Heat them up before adding the lukewarm protein to make a somewhat acceptable taco. Had the shrimp taco (which had good flavor just failed on the cold tortilla ), carne asada (tasted very gamey), and the steak chimichurri taco was bland af. Where was the chimichurri? The chips were nice and warm, just needed a tad bit more salt for my taste. The guacamole was passable but need more lime. Again, to my taste. Would I go back for food? Probably not. Sucks cause I really wanted to be a patron of this spot for the food and not just the drinks. Ps. Pretty good selection of mezcal.

Yelp
We were starving but the food was well below mid. Store bought tortillas and burnt fish pebbles. The carne asada taco was mehhhh. The lady taking orders at the little window was personable, kind and offered suggestions. Dude working the food window said he didn't speak Spanish but then he read the order screen to hand out the food in English. Ok. My friend ordered quesadillas and a birria taco with a separate to-go order. To go order comes out and we had to wait another 20 mins for his food to show up. Tragic. That's all I got for what came out. The taco was smaller than the room key card. I tasted the quesadilla and the meat was sooooooo dry. The vibe was a late night joint when you're drunk and there's absolutely no where else to eat. My friend is from El Salvador and he said the culinary experience was disrespectful. When I told him I gave one star his response..."That's too much."

Andy R.

Yelp
All around meh. I've ordered the same set of tacos on multiple occasions and they are different (worse and worse) almost every time. From the toppings to the quality, they change with every order. The venue in the backside is dirty and dark, but the drinks and bartenders hold that place together (barely). If you are a contracted employee you are severely at risk. They currently owe over 20K to a local agency for unpaid bookings as early as January. It's ran very sloppily from the corporate side to management. Overall I would not recommend it.

Yelp
I've been here twice now once just for cocktails and the second time for food. This is definitely a spot to go to for drinks especially in the back bar during the day. It has a nice atmosphere! Both times the staff was super friendly and very helpful. The only thing I would say is the was food is just alright. I was disappointed by my tacos as they came out cold and one of them barely had any meat in it... which was disappointing since each taco is around $5-6 I would god back, but just for drinks!

Yelp
Awesome bartenders and djs at this establishment. I went for my friend birthday and it was such a great experience. I tried their guac and it was perfect with flavor and chips. I also didn't know what to drink and explained to the bartender my favorite of drinks. He made a drink customized to my liking and I loved it.

Yelp
This was my first time at this location. We came for the party atmosphere so we went upstairs and was able to snag the last table really quick. It's a small but very cute space that gives a speak easy feel. Service was really good and quick. We had the coconut shrimp and carne asada tacos. I didn't try the shrimp. The corn tortilla was cold but the taco was seasoned ok. I think I would have enjoyed more had it been warmer. The margaritas were really good also. Now for the music. We had a great time! Whoever the dj is really played a little of everything. And everyone was dancing! Very good time. I'd definitely return for the vibes.

Julia P.

Yelp
I am no taco expert but these tacos were just... not great. Loaded with raw diced onions and some fried crunchy toppings, they were devoid of good, balanced flavor. The churros weren't bad though as was the frozen margarita. But as we soon realized last night when wanting a late dinner (with most spots starting to close) you shouldn't come here sober for the food. Ultimately, the place was full of college kids trying to go out in the backdoor club (fun vibes and great for people watching!). But it's not a true restaurant or even casual eating establishment ambiance after 930ish just as an fyi. Service was friendly and fine and it was truly great entertainment to watch the bouncers doing crowd control on the young would-be patrons queuing up to get in to party A note about the upstairs -- I've been a few times and they have a great selection of cocktails and tequilas/mezcals. But it gets LOUD. The days of quiet speakeasy are no more - every square inch becomes filled with people standing and talking loudly while the loud music blares in the background. So be aware that after a certain point in the evening, the volume rises and ambiance is not really great for a lower key, relaxing drink or good conversation. Edit by Julia's SO/taco expert (12/27/24 11:57am): I am a taco expert, I was literally born for tacos. This is not a taco restaurant but it is a very important institution in coco grove. They do not serve Mexican food, they serve alcohol poisoning mitigants. Considering the number of high school kids (they not look college aged) saved from alcohol poisoning after getting in by hugging/being groped by the sketchball car salesman from New Jersey working as night shift manager, bodega should be receiving payments from local hospitals for reducing the strain on their ER staff.

Yelp
Birria tacos were delicious! Really impressed with them. Carnitas on the other hand lacked flavor weren't anything special. Just did a takeout order and everything was ready on time.

Yelp
I've been to Bodega Tanqueria y Tequila on a number of occasions because their happy hour deals and well-crafted cocktails, especially the Bodega Paloma, usually make for a great experience. The selection of street food like the variety of tacos, nachos, and particularly the sweet chili jalapeño wings, are consistent hits. However, my most recent visit with a group of eight from work left us a bit disappointed, particularly with the service. With the exception of three gentlemen, sitting at the bar, we were the only other people there. Despite this and arriving right at the start of Happy Hour at 4 PM, we were surprised to find that they were already out of draft margaritas and Monopolio beer, and could only make three Bodega Palomas due to a "distributer issue"and shortage of ingredients. Given these circumstances, we expected attentive service, especially with the seating area mostly empty and multiple staff members visible. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. We were invited to sit at a reserved couch area but had to approach the bar ourselves to place and pick up our orders because the bartenders and server did not attend to our table. This self-service was unexpected and diminished the usually enjoyable experience. While Bodega still scores with its food and drink, the service during this visit was not up to par. I hope this was just an off day, and not a new trend, as I would like to continue visiting in the future.

Yelp
I dont recommend if you're looking to go dancing. Got a table (mostly girls) for a gf's birthday on a Saturday night. Everything was cool except the DJ was very disappointing. He kept playing songs like YMCA, twist and shout, wannabe, and switched from rock to 70s and then 90s wildly. Everyone complained and no one cared. It affected the vibe of the party and it was like the DJ didn't read the room at all. We made several requests for hip hop and were told basically no.
google avatar

Rajiv K.

Yelp
Came with friends who like it here. It was my first time at this location (I've been to their flagship on the beach). I liked the transparent roof. DJ was keeping the crowd active. Bar tenders working it hard. Small space that catches a crowd. So might benefit you to get there early. Friend ordered guac that was pretty good!
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
One of the tastiest tacos I've ever tried. Great service, fair pricing. They have these little alcoholic drink pouches that are delicious..I got a purple-ish one that tasted like chipotle pepper? I'm not sure what the ingredients were, all I know is it was fire. Great little spot to order pick up and then eat at peacock or nearby.

Yelp
Nice Saturday night out in the speakeasy. Bartenders are always friendly and are quick. Get a table to have a but more comfort. The music inside is always a vibe. They had the Canes game on, which was clutch. Love coming here for a night. Food is always good too.

Yelp
Bury me in the back room of Bodega and I will spend the afterlife in my version of heaven. A natural light filled room that is blasting perreo with close proximity to mezcal and tacos. Say less, amirite? I have visited Bodega in the Grove many times for what I call Coconut Grove's olympic sports - day drinking and frivolity. I love that there is always a DJ during the day, I love the surf and turf quesadillas and queso dip, and I love the mezcal margs. I also love that there is daily happy hour. Usually, we go in a big group and post up on one of the couches. Every time, the server is really good at being attentive to a large crowd, and separating tabs if you need to. You can order from your server in the back room and the food comes to your table or the bar. During the weekend days the crowd is like millennial groveite meets parents trying to get rowdy. At night during the week I tend not to go, as there is sometimes a minimum and it's a way younger crowd. I love this spot, and it is most definitely a must for a day in Coconut Grove.
google avatar

Roger C.

Yelp
Really cool place. The tacos are really amazing and there are a couple of "hidden" spots. If you see a long line of young people waiting outside, they're waiting to get into the back room where the DJ and bar is. You literally have to go through a portable tolilet door to get in (and sometimes they have a huge cover charge!) There is another secret entrance which I won't disclose. A much smaller place with a bar and same music from the DJ. This is the jewel for this place. Ask for Tony to make you a spicy Mexican martini (he really need to give it a different name. It is a smoky spicy mezcal drink with a huge fire production behind it)
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
The classic burrito with chicken was just under $18, had two pieces of chicken in it, and was the size of a mini Gatorade bottle. Complete ripoff. Never going back.

Claudia S.

Yelp
I wasn't a happy camper!...The place stinks,I don't know if it has to do with the fact that restrooms in the lounge area, one doesn't work and the other one doesn't lock.I would give the establishment another shot if they fix these environment issues cause food, drinks and service weren't bad
google avatar

Yelp
I am SO happy that Bodega finally opened up in The Grove! I have been here once before, and I must say their food is delicious. I love their carne asada tacos and the fried yuca. This time, I was able to also enjoy the bar. There is a cute little speakeasy in the back of the restaurant. Walk through that door and you'll find yourself at a cozy bar with a beautiful ambiance. The bartenders were all friendly and there was even live music. We loved the band! I got a frozen Margarita in a cute cup that supports Breast Cancer Awareness. It was a pretty big drink with good flavor, so definitely worth the $14 (and for a good cause!). Overall, I really enjoy this Bodega location. Whether you go for the food or the drinks, you are bound to have a nice time!

Lourdes M.

Yelp
I like bodega and have been going to the one in Miami Beach since it open 2011. I was excited to go to the supposedly pop up Christmas bar in Cocnut grove, I was disappointed because they only had 2 blow up dolls and one Palm tree wrapped up in red lights. No Christmas music. This was definitely not a Christmas Pop up. Don't get me wrong I like bodega but don't claim to be a Christmas pop up. Hopefully they'll step up next year!! An example of a great Christmas pop up is Frosty's Christmas bar or Oscar Wilde in NYC

Yelp
Alright, I am solely rating this location on a party level, as I didn't try any of the food. Fairly new spot in the grove, just off grand Ave and coco walk, really nice location if you ask me. I really liked their outdoor sign, I wish I had taken a picture of it. We came here to celebrate our friend's birthday. First room when you walk in is the restaurant, it's kinda small, but worked great for everyone dining there. You then walk down a hallway passed the restrooms and up to a porta potty door which leads you to the party area. There you're greeted by a really cool space with a large sky light (sunglasses are recommended) long bar and cool decor. A DJ is setup just in the middle by the fireplace. We really liked the party, the staff was great, they had all the big college games on the tv's and had really tasty drinks. We probably had one too many drinks to be honest, the music was great and so was the atmosphere. I think in a couple weeks when more people find out about this place, it will probably get really packed on weekends. Really cool spot, highly recommend if you wanna grab a drink and vibe or if you wanna grab a bunch of drinks and party.

Yelp
Ordered 1 burrito, 1 carnitas, 1 Pastor, and 1 Carne Asada. Ordered inside and drove home (not even a 2minute drive) and all 3 tacos were ice cold! The quality of the proteins have gone down significantly! The $5 guacamole is a ridiculously smal serving. The burrito was warm. On the burrito I added jalapeños, corn, and sour cream and it was $25! Not worth it $4 dollars added for each the corn and jalapeños. Never again. I would rather go across the street to El Tacito spend less for the same quality and get them home in the same amount of time and at least eat the warm to hot and not ICE COLD!!

Yelp
Went last night for dinner around 6:30 PM and we were able to find a booth to sit at right away. It wasn't very busy at first but as it got later more people were sitting at the bar waiting for booths to free up. The space is very cool and the service is fast. We ordered at the bar and the food was out quick! We ordered Chips and Guac, Esquites and the Yuca fritas for the table and then I got the carne asada and birria tacos which were really good. They also have happy hour prices on certain items from 4-7 PM.
google avatar

Joany M.

Yelp
The back room is where it's at! I've come a few times, the drinks are delicious and so is the food. They have tables you can reserve for special occasions, we did this for my cousins bday. Celebrated with shots and the classic "Happy Birthday" light box, which is such a fun add on. We sang, danced and laughed our booties off. So happy there's a new location in the grove and closer to me.
google avatar

Gio J.

Yelp
I really used to love this place but the food got smaller and the prices are extremely highly for the quantity you get. You pay 12 for 2 tacos.... I got a virgin Mojito and it costed me $9. The quality and is okay compared to the prices I definitely expect more if I'm paying $5 per taco. Over all the staff service is good and fast and the place is nice and the bar is trendy.
google avatar

Fabian E.

Yelp
Ordered a carne asada burrito with 3 pieces of meat. $24 for a bean and rice burrito not worth it ! You can get more meat from Taco Bell a lot more tasty. . Staff was rude and not helpful at all . A total rip off , look else where . Tried to give this place a second chance ordering. Unfortunately they failed all over . Unfortunately you are not allowed to pay more for extra meat ? The burrito this time was a lot smaller and less amount of meat. I will not be returning

Yelp
First time coming to Bodega and I loved it. What a vibe, first we went to the second floor and had a drink which consistent of a beer and a really good tequila reposado which we loved. Then we went downstairs for some food, we had birria tacos, nachos, guacamole, al pastor, carnitas and avocado taco, and a quesadilla it was a feast. Then we went to the back room kind of speakeasy and had a blast, we danced so much, the dj was amazing. Everyone was so nice, attentive. Loved it, my new fav bar Ohhh and guac and chips got it for free thanks to YELP!

Yelp
I love bodega!! it's one of the best spots to come to for some delicious food and a great time in the hidden speakeasy! If you come to eat I recommend coming with time to be able to get a seat and eat comfortably. They have the speakeasy in the back and also the bar at the top unfortunately I haven't gotten to the bar on too because it was reserved this night. But I love this place! delicious drinks and the tacos here are actually one of the best tacos ever. the mango margarita is my FAVORITE!! I just wish the price was a bit cheaper but the drinks and food quality is 10/10 so whos to complain!
google avatar

Stacey M.

Yelp
Wonderful little place to drop in for a quick bite. Margarita was yum and not too overpowering. The tacos, burrito and bowl were flavorful and made to order. The atmosphere was entertaining and fun with lively music. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go again.
google avatar

Tony U.

Yelp
We were made to wait for a long time while there was 6 tables available! The blame was on the kitchen... Food was ok, not really Mexican The service was great and very friendly which made the experience really nice. Prices were fair and in keeping with the vibe
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
I stopped by for a few tacos. They were ok, but nothing out of this world. The tacos were cold and the lime was dry, and only one piece. Ok if you want food in five minutes
google avatar

Paula B.

Yelp
La bodega has been kinda effy to me First time I visited I got really bad food poisoning Unfortunately Birria Tacos or the ones I got didn't taste like birria tacos I got the corn or elote preparado whatever u wanna call it It was just boiled corn with some cheese :/ Second time after a Yelp event that was taking place here I got some guac and chips and queso for takeout Guac and Queso are ok but super overpriced Third time I got some guac and chips , queso same thing as last time containers half full/empty Like at least fill it all the way if I'm paying $10 for guac and $12 for queso my food portions were even smaller than before and food was ok Sadly I wish there was a chipotle in the grove instead of this "Mexican food" establishment The bar upstairs it's extremely small and suffocating if there's more than 12 people in the room , the drinks were also not good Service is ok depends on what time or day you come

M R.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible The bouncers act like they are GOD I asked a simple question about how much a table is and they wouldn't even give me the time of day to give me an answer. So disgustingly rude. I was taking to one guy and another man came up and asked "what the problem was " as if I was making a scene ?? I don't understand the hostility. Unprovoked and rude beyond measures Will never be here again. To be a bouncer at the smallest bar in Miami ??? Idk how you act like that Pleaser review your current employees ..

Yelp
I tagged along for an impromptu bar crawl with my friends and their young adult kids the Friday after Thanksgiving. It's so nice to see that the Grove is more alive than ever! We ended up for shots at Bodega. It was elbow room only in a large space sprawling with 20 somethings. Talk about a trip back in time! Lol I felt like I was back in college. Bodega ambience and energy were awesome! The bar itself is huge. The bartender was very patient as we figured out everyone's order in our large group. I will def be back to try the food in the front and drink a little more on a less busy night. If there is one.
google avatar

Jaquie M.

Yelp
Love my neighborhood location in the grove! Great tacos and drinks! Tuesdays is the day to come of course. Speakeasy in the back is smaller than the South beach location but the VIP room upstairs is where you want to be! :)
google avatar

Pris A.

Yelp
I visited Bodega for happy hour during the weekday. I love the hidden doors and how it transitions from one gathering room into a different space; each one carrying its own unique vibe. I also enjoyed that it was pet-friendly and once seated, the entire couch was ours!! Drinks are stiff and there are many tequila brands to choose from. Always a fun time with great music and a cool ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the first negative Yelp review I've ever written, but hoping it will make some adjustments to the customer service at Bodega because I used to be such a fan. I've gone the the Bodega on South Beach for years and have always loved their food, drinks, and staff. While the food and drinks are still good, there is a serious lack of professionalism and customer service training of the mezcalaria staff in Coconut Grove. We purchased tickets ($25) to an event that advertised the ticket included a Gem + Bolt welcome cocktail and tarot card readings. Upon arrival they instead give us a shot of mezcal. We corrected the waitress and showed her that the ticket says cocktail. She kindly noted that that was a mistake by the marketing team and stated she would be annoyed too if she were us. We asked if we could instead have a cocktail since that's what was advertised, and when she brought her general manager (Felix) over he tried to convince our table that mezcal shots are called cocktails (lol), and that is all they could offer (meanwhile they have a beverage menu on the table with the first drink being a mezcal cocktail and the last being the exact same shot of mezcal for $12...). Of course there was also no tarot card reader. The waitress told us this again was a mistake with the advertisement and she was only ever scheduled for Friday. Of course the story changed when Felix came to the table and said that she had an emergency (and sarcastically said "what do you want me to do about it - try and become your tarot card reader right now"?). Hopefully this review inspires some management changes at the Coconut Grove location, because based on his professionalism to a small group of (unfortunately sober) patrons at 8:45pm, I'm sure this is not an isolated incident.
google avatar

Felicia B.

Yelp
Food was delicious, service was good except for the fact that they put our tacos all on one plate instead of separate it. They didn't correct the issue and didn't charge for the correction. The restaurant was different than I was accustom to but over straight. I didn't like the 20% service fee/gratuity that was added to my bill without proper knowledge until after we placed our order at the bar and never got seated.

Betty S.

Yelp
Everything I had here was good! I had the barbacoa tacos they were excellent very flavorful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
3 concepts in one!! Such a unique type of dining location. 1- the Mezcaleria upstairs: You do need a reservation & we did ask if they served food upstairs, however we were told bar only. I only wish I had known because it looked sooo nice. Super intimidate, dark, romantic vibes. 2- Front part downstairs: First off my carne asada taco was delicious! Didn't eat much but everyone in my table enjoyed their food! Highly rated. I did think this area would be bigger- it is a small three table area with first come, first serve seating. A little crowded so you might have to hang out a bit for a table & they weren't really cleaning them as they went which is a bummer but it's very casual. 3- Speakeasy in the back: This is where you want to be! Huge area with couches available for reservation, otherwise you can order the full menu & drinks at the bar. Really good music selection very spacious. Clubby vibes in the late night. Deffffinitely will be making my way back to the mezcaleria & the bar!

Yelp
I've been here on a Tuesday for happy hour and I had so much fun! The music was so good and the food and drinks are top tier! I also like the attentiveness of the bartenders. They are great! However, I did come once on a Friday for happy hour and we weren't allowed to sit in the lounge area (like we did that Tuesday we came),only at the bar. Simply because their were a lot of us and they expected us to pay the whole tab with one card. Instead of splitting the checks. So that was annoying and inconvenient so we just had to huddle around the bar instead of sitting in the nice empty lounge area. The servers are losing out. Overall, I would still come back because the food and drinks are great!
google avatar

Luis H.

Yelp
The atmosphere is amazing! I celebrated my birthday here and our waitress Tali along with the rest of the staff were extremely friendly to all my guests. They prepared a section with great authentic Mexican food while everyone began to arrive. They also have a little speakeasy bar upstairs, hidden gem from the lounge downstairs. Definitely will be returning very very soon!
google avatar

Ally M.

Yelp
This place is great for food, drinks and partying! The drinks are a great price and very delicious. The best part of bodega is hidden! They have a speakeasy in the back and tonight they had live music. The band was GREAT! The bartenders were amazing and the overall vibe was fantastic!

Yelp
This review is for this one experience. I have been here before and didn't really have any complaints. The first time I was actually super happy with the amount of meat they put in my taco. Even though I don't believe a taco should be more than $3 but given these are creative and so that is probably why they charge so much for one. But today I was highly disappointed. I ordered a brisket taco.. I wanna say there was .5 of an ounce of meat in there. It was mostly crispy shallots and mayo. Was offended that they would charge me $6 dollars for a corn tortilla with mostly crispy shallots and mayonnaise. I worked in restaurants for over 25 years and understand food cost. This was a complete rip off.

Yelp
Bodega is the new hidden (literally) gem of Coral Gables. The front of the restaurant was just a common dining area. However, in the back, there's a door that takes you to a different lounge area. Our server guided us to a table to which we sat and began to order from the happy hour menu (every day from 4pm to 8pm!). We decided to order Al Pastor tacos ($3) and drinks. I ordered the Paleta Margarita ($14) which was good but it was very spicy. It wasn't my favorite drink to be honest. However, I tried the Diablita drink ($7 during happy hour) which was better and more smooth. We also ordered Chips and Guac ($5) which were also good. After eating, the lights dimmed down and the place turned into a nightclub, very similar to Wynwood's vibe. We danced, drank more and fully enjoyed the night. We left kind of early for a Saturday night in Miami, but I still felt I was very satisfied how the night ended. Overall, I had lots of fun and cannot wait to go back to Bodega. Thank you Andrea for being the best server! Things to keep in mind: - There's no parking designated for the restaurant. You'd have to walk a few blocks. - Happy hour (4pm-8pm) is really worth it. It is every day! - The place turns into a club at 8pm. After that, men are charged a minimum spending. - The lounge area is a little cramped

Yelp
I hit this spot in the grove for a friends birthday for happy hour. Which happens to be 5p to 8p! Great times!!! This spot is Soo neat you walk in through the front door and looks like a spot to grab some quick tacos. But if you keep walking down the hallway through a portapotty door you'll find a hidden bar with a see though roof made of windows! I swear the coolest spot I've seen and just a great vibe. The happy hour drinks and food is all reasonably priced and deliciously finger licking good! You won't be sorry. Towards the evening the dj shows up to kick up the party a notch! I had such a great time. Highly recommend this spot for celebrating or even a just because day! You don't be disappointed.

Yelp
Bodega takes the flavors of contemporary Mexican cuisine to new heights. The tacos al pastor have a rich home cooking flavor that rivals the best tacos anywhere. The ambiance is lively and full of energy. They have modern music, by DJ Felva, with a vibe that'll make anyone jump and dance. The service is top notch. If you sit at the bar, be sure to ask for Ramon. He is an expert behind the bar and will be happy to mix the best tequila cocktail for you. The space is super comfortable; whether you're at a table, the lounge area, or the bar, you'll get the very best there is in comfort and ambience. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere with lots of energy, I highly recommend you stop by and enjoy the music, the cocktails, and the food.
