This place is a gem in the neighborhood. Amazing selection of natural wines, with new stuff coming in regularly so you're never bored. The place has a wide range of options yet is meticulously curated. The owner is incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable about all different grapes, styles, regions and pairings. This is hands down my favorite wine store in all of Astoria.

The owner is phenomenal. Really curates his selection and always has a story or something to say about what I purchased. “Oh yeah, this one is named after the owner’s dog…” it’s that level of involvement that’s missing from most liquor/wine shops. The owner here is intimately involved in the product he sells. That’s what keeps me coming back!

I simply adore Bodega! Freddy is an absolute sweetheart, the wine selections are curated and amazing, and the service is top-notch. I feel like I’m cheating on Bodega if I ever get wine elsewhere, so I try not to cheat!

Discovered this place a couple of days ago and I am glad I did. The store is neatly organized and nicely decorated. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and knowledgeable and offered me great suggestions.

Visited about a week ago. Good selection. Very kind gentleman working. He was able to answer my questions right away and was kind enough to find the brand of prosecco I wanted already chilled.

They have an app for the store and they deliver. Could be a game changer for the neighborhood.

This is the place. I live in the neighborhood and I've been coming here for the past 2 years. Freddy is just the best! Extremely knowledgeable, nice, down to earth, and especially someone who listens to the customers' needs. I often go there to just speak with him about the wine and then explores and expand my taste. And whenever I'm in the run, he and his staff are always ready to help. I think at this place more like what bookstores used to be but for wine. By that I mean a place where you know you can always rely on the suggestions of the owner, someone who knows your taste and helps you expanding it at your own pace. Plus the place is clean, simple, and elegant without being pretentious or fake. Simply the best.

Love this spot! Freddy is the best. He always has great wine recommendations and his prices are so reasonable compared to other wine stores. They carry a large variety and I've always gotten fantastic wines from here that I can't find elsewhere.

Having passed by this wine & spirits shop a few times and hearing good things from friends, I went in and am glad I did. The store is immaculate and all the product laid out beautifully. In the market for tequila as a gift, the gentleman who helped me was really helpful - asking me about the recipient, my price range, what I knew etc.. The service was spot on - knowledgeable, down to earth, not a hard sell. The selection is very good - you will definitely find the perfect something there. Bought the gift, which was wrapped and will definitely be back!
