A lovely little restaurant. Every plate was delicious a thoughtfully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I definitely going back next time I’m in town.

The ambiance of this place is very appeasing. Soft music plays so the conversation is able to be heard. There is a small aquarium at the back of the restaurant with pretty fish in it. They have an awesome Tom Yum soup, which I added shrimp to. They offer several different fried rice and noodle options, many vegan or vegetarian with the option to add protein. My friends had fried rice and enjoyed it, the noodles were just ok. I'd try them again.

I'm a huge fan of their lunch special. For under $13 you get a soup, an appetizer, and an entree. It's a great deal. I also really enjoy the flavors of the food. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I appreciate that they have a variety of spice levels and that you can customize it with additional hot sauce. The staff is also really friendly and very welcoming when I come in.

Looooooved it here! 10/10. Food was spectacular. Large portions and extremely flavorful. I got the red curry with chicken and the Thai fried with chicken. Both were the best Thai meals I’ve had. Service was also wonderful. Super nice and attentive but too much, just the right amount of solo time. I came hy myself on a Friday night and dined on the outside patio. It’s so cute outside with the string lights.

UPDATE: This place really is a jewel you NEED to try. I had my graduation dinner here & all my family loved it! They are local, authentic, beautiful ambiance, & I REALLY REALLY REALLY dont want them to go out of business so please everyone SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! I drive 20 minutes on the regular just for pot stickers if nothing else. They've become my comfort food. But all the food I've had here is so good! Even their soy sauce tastes better than regular soy sauce. I can never NOT eat at least some of them in the car before pulling off. I even got my picky eater daughter to try them & she likes their food too. .... and did I mention EXCELLENT service every time! 👍🏾👌🏾 Lots of options! Support them! ---------------------------------------- My first time trying Thai food so I tried post stickers and they are so delicious! Other reasons to visit here are the staff are always sooo nice and polite & the ambiance is so calm but also really unique & cool. I like it here.

Enjoyed dinner here today after randomly looking for Thai restaurants for a Friday dinner (I am a tourist) and was met with a great happy surprise!! The food was absolutely delicious, enjoyed a comforting and a memorable meal here !! Will surely visit again !! Tried a new dessert Tapioca Pearl’ here and it surely is now my new favorite!!

Amazing place, the absolute nicest waiter with great service and knowledge about the food and menu. We had 2 specials which were both beautiful. Really clean restrooms and fast service. 10/10

I've ordered from Bodhi for a few years now; I always order the same thing. I order the Basil Fried Rice with added tofu. I have found none better elsewhere. On my recent visit, I tried something new the Red Curry and the Green Curry; both delicious. Now I have a new dish to put in rotation. Bodhi is likely to be my favorite Thai restaurant in the United States.

Do not order the pork. It's dry and bland and they charge you extra for it. It was so bad that I was convinced it was chicken. Called the restaurant to ask if they could replace it and surprise, it's the same bland meat. The restaurant wanted the meal back but I had already opened and tasted it. So petty. Crab Rangoon was good though. RESPONSE: if it's pork shoulder, then say that on the menu. Very simple things to avoid confusion.

Great food and friendly service! We got the pot stickers, Pad Thai and Pad Woon Sen. Everything was delicious! We will be back again soon!!

Came here on a whim for dinner on Memorial Day and we were pleasantly surprised at the taste of our food. Prices were typical. We found the Pad See Ew to be to cooked very well. I asked for medium hot and didn't find it to be that spicy, so I can tell their spice level definitely caters to non-thai people. Our server was friendly and prompt with our ordering/receiving plates. The lady who came by to the table to bring us the check was also very friendly. I think she may be the owner!

I've frequented Bodhi more times than I can count . While the food quality is phenomenal and I've never ever received an incorrect order, the dine in service is just okay. The reason is largely due to its size, the layout and presence of a kitchen window which is reminiscent of a dining while sitting on a barstool. There's no buffer and little separation from the kitchen and dining area. Add to that I am not a fan of a sheet of white paper spread across linens. On the upside, there's much to be said about dining at a place where you're recognized as a regular and your order is remembered, if I had to guess, their takeout business is more active than dine in.

Celebrating the move of my young friends to their new house we order from here as we were all hungry after getting the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen usable for their first night at their house. Really surprised in a good way!! Fast delivery, good food, and plenty. We shared Pot Stickers Red Curry Pad Thai Basil Noodles Fresh Spring Roll Lard Na Small White Rice and some other delicious dishes. Sorry, I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. Everything was delicious. My friends will be ordering form here more often.

Bodhi Thai is delicious. Everything I order tastes yummy and full of flavor. The service is fast and without a hitch. My only issue is that sometimes the chicken is a bit dry and not very flavorful. So that's why they lost a star for me . I haven't ordered the beef or pork so I cannot comment on that.

Haven't had Thai food in a while, so we decided to go to a new place other than our usual. The interior is rustic with statues and decorations, much like I saw when I visited Thailand. Service was quick, and the food came out quickly. We got the lunch special, which includes one entree, an appetizer, and a soup of the day. All this for just $11.95 is a great deal, even if it is from a shortened menu. The soup was actually a highlight with its flavor being similar to a chicken noodle, but slightly different and an excellent contrast in texture with the crispy in the soup. The pot sticker was nicely fried but didn't have too much flavor on the inside. The flavor of this dish was mostly just from the soy based sauce it came with. The egg roll was actually worse, though. I get that it is all vegetables on the inside, but I expected some sort of flavor. Massaman curry was the main entree, and it was quite good as well. I was a little let down by the small amount of curry included with the dish. I feel like more curry would have made the flavors pop more. Overall, it was a good dish with fresh vegetables and your choice of meat, but the curry itself was a bit too diluted for my personal preference. I prefer my curry to have more of a punch. With that all said, this is a great option for a lunch for the price alone. I'll try the dinner options next time for a chance to taste the differences, if there are any. Give it a try!

I called the restaurant as the owner offered to rectify the issue. Owners were not on-site. Separately, I do not feel comfortable receiving a meal 'on the house'. Serving burnt steamed rice is not a mistake but a statement. No, thanks.

I used to live near the area for 10+yrs. I would always order take out, never dined in. Now we live farther away from this place but we missed the food and decided to down it. WOW. What an amazing experience. Went in on a Sunday night with my two kiddos and husband. This place screams with cleanliness. Bathrooms, clean, atmosphere clean, dinnerware clean. Cups and utensils all clean! Usually we have to request new ones because they are filthy. But not here! I even drank for the glass cup which I never do. The food was beyond amazing! My husband got a beef stew and finished the whole thing! My kiddos ate all of their chicken skewers. We couldn't stop thinking of our amazing experience. 10/10

If you're looking for fairly priced Thai food, this is the place! Bodhi has an incredible lunch special! For $11.95, you can pick an appetizer, get the soup of the day, and an entree. There are lots of options for entrees ranging from plates to curry and noodles. Their normal menu prices are also very reasonable. For the lunch special, I ordered the eggrolls and pad thai; the soup of the day was tofu and rice soup. I personally did not like the eggrolls. Despite being a lunch special entree, the pad thai serving size was generous! I couldn't finish all the food. I would note that the pad thai is a bit on the sweeter side, but otherwise very good. The interior is clean and well decorated. The staff are friendly and fast. But most importantly, the pricing is amazing and the food is decent. This is probably the best Thai restaurant in this area - taking into account both food and price. Definitely will be back to try more!

My fav ! Miss tbus is pilsen but this one is just as good ' I will always choose bodht over any other that place .

I order takeout from Bodhi Thai Bistro pretty often, and it's consistently good. They offer authentic Thai food that never disappoints. I absolutely love their green curry, but you can't go wrong with the pad thai either! I highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine.

IN RESPONSE TO THE BUG SITUATION BELOW. For some reason google reviews won't let me respond to you @Bodhi Thai Owner. However, I don't understand why I would need a verified account to share my experience. These are just my personal email accounts. I'm not a food critic just a regular patron who decided to order Bohdi thai. I ordered carry out from you last night and it came sealed and stapled from your store. The likelihood of a stinkbug or whatever kind of bug you've identified walking through a stapled bag, past 2 other containers of food, and into the sealed container of Pad See Ewe at the bottom of the bag before the bug swam through the noodles and sauce, twirled around, and then died in the dish for me to find him in my mouth is VERY LOW. Please try that with anyone else. I ordered from Bodhi thai because the food looked good, not because I planned to come and leave a bad review for a planted bug. Supporting small businesses is so risky because instead of taking accountability for YOUR BUG, you opted to find a way to blame me. I hope anyone who's contemplating eating at Bodhi thai thinks long and hard and comes prepared to inspect every noodle and grain of rice because they sure won't. Maybe leave a note specifying *No bugs please* with your order to make sure they leave them out of your dish. I've attached more pictures of your bug and my full order below. Anyone else reading this exchange, BEWARE. You could have solved this by taking accountability for the mistake and offering an apology. Not sure how you can rectify MY situation because I will never order from here again. A bug in my mouth is traumatizing to say the least since bugs aren't a part of my diet. Horrible food and customer service.

Came as a walk-in, very nice staff. The interior is very elegant and surprisingly cozy. They had very beautiful masks and statues on display at the counter/bar The food was good.

Ordered crab Rangoon and pad Thai chicken for take out. The Pad Thai flavor was not good.. I ordered the dish to be spicy and the noodles were seasoned with burnt chili flakes. Not to mention only 4 pieces of chicken were mixed in with the noodles. Will not be ordering from here again

The food is always delicious! It is a small family owned business. Since moving to Oak Park, I frequent this place at least once a month.

It was my first time trying Bodhi Thai and it was delicious. I liked the flavors and crisp of the nuts. The service was great. The place is well decorated. Totally recommend this.

A wonderful restaurant. our out of town guests have loved the delucious choices every time.Last night our waitress was kind enough to present cakes I bought from our favorite out of town bakery to my husband for his birthday complete with very tall exotic cabdle. everyone loved their curries and the cucumber salad was to die for.

very good pad kee mow, pad woon sen and pad thai. beef salad, thai iced coffee and iced tea also very good.

Good portion size. Not a long wait. Service was good. Table setting felt formal but nice.

People are SLEEPING on a killer lunch special here!! On a Monday we got soup of the day, an appetizer and entree for $12 Got curry noodles and vegetable egg rolls. Both were delicious! My friend got pad thai (it was so-so) and crispy tofu. The soup was delicious. Service was impeccable. Restaurant is so cute too

The food is always awesome here. When I am near berwyn this is my first choice of food when it comes to Thai. A long time friend recommended this place years ago and it seems like every time I drop by to eat, the art in the place improves. Great service, awesome food and good vibes.

UPDATE... today(3/30/23) after being in-contact with the hospitable, nice & caring owner, Sandy, we came back for lunch. Our experience was great. The food was delicious, service was impeccable. Sandy and Manny(waiter) was outstanding. I see how the business been thriving for 10 yrs. Lunch special..We had Rice soup, Thai shrimp fried rice and Basil chicken fried rice, crab rangoons. Everything was hot and freshly made, also Thai custard dessert. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you again Sandy for your hospitality and your good food, shout out to the cooks. Dined here on a Wednesday evening and was immediately seated. The ambiance is great and service was superb. The waiter made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered: 1. Crab Fried rice (the best dish we had here) 2. The clay pot (it was ooook) 3. Chicken pad Thai (good but the noodles were over cooked and was too soft and soggy) 4. Tom Kha (very mild and delicious Overall, I would recommend the fried rice but rest was alright. The service was good!!

Food is awesome. However if you do not have reservations they look at you funny, even though clearly there are available seating. So make those reservations. They had a Valentines Day Special menu and it was delicious. Good flavor in their food. Service is slow. It's hard to consider leaving a 20% tip because service is so slow. They seat you and forget about you. Water refills were slow, asking for extra napkins was slow. Ambiance: the place is really small and if there is a crying child you are trapped. The floor is not carpeted so the noise echos and travels. The people/ servers: they are nice, and pleasant. They give you lots of space.

Best Thai in the area. Basil noodles are an absolute family favorite and you can't go wrong with the pad Thai and potstickers.

I stoped by here for a quick dinner last week. The space was nice and clean and the service was also good. The food was alright. The pad Thai was too sweet and didn't have enough flavor. I ended up mixing in some of the red curry to spice it up. The red curry was good but not anything crazy. Could have been flavored some more as well.

I've ordered takeout from here a couple times and everything is very solid. I can recommend both the Panang Curry and the Pad Thai. Reasonable prices for what you get.

I called never have going here before and asked for suggestions on what to order. The woman on the phone was very friendly. She asked what I typically order at a Thai restaurant and I told her the pad Khea mao with tofu. She said there's is exceptional so I tried it and I am hooked! Very delicious, perfect amount of spice, tofu was cooked to perfection, and I will definitely be back! I also ordered a appetizer of the veggie rolls which were also delightful! Highly highly recommend!!!

My husband brought some food home from this Thai Restuarant. He took a chance with them when he was traveling out of town. What we loved about it was the vegetables with every dish. Very good; not any soy sauce put in the food. Very good; Good quality food; I would recommend. This is different from chinese food.

Came here last weekend. Had a good time. It was a lot cooler than I had anticipated with the outdoor seating so I wasn't a but uncomfortable, but that's mostly my fault. The food here was... Fine. We had tom kha soup, red curry, and pad ke mao. I'd say the soup was the highlight. Loved that. The red curry was fine. Noodles I liked the least. Overall decent enough food if you're in the area. Overall nice work. Thanks!

I stopped in as it was recommended by a friend. The chive dumplings were 2 cut in half (to make 4), the grilled calamari had 7 small pieces and the 10$ mango sticky rice dessert had 1/2 a scoop of rice with 6 slices of mango. You don't get much for your money. The flavor was good just a complaint about amount to value is bad

We came here for lunch and took advantage of their lunch special. The inside decor was very nice and their service was great. The only challenging thing about lunch was finding where to park. I ordered my usual Pad Khee Mao and my wife ordered her Pad See Ewe. The lunch special came with their soup of the day, and an appetizer for each order. I chose their pot stickers, and my wife chose their crab Rangoon. Both were very good, but the crab Rangoon definitely hit the spot. That Thai sweet and sour sauce it came with was off the chain. My Pad khee mao was also very tasty. I always make sure I order it very spicy. The only thing that killed it for me was the bean sprouts. Not a fan and I felt like it took the flavor away from the rest of the dish. We then finished off our lunch with sticky rice and mango. Here they dye their rice green and add whip cream on top. Their service was phenomenal. Very welcoming, food kept coming in a timely matter. I would definitely be returning.

The spring rolls were fresh, and the yellow curry was perfect. My only concern was the lack of attention from the waiter. His attention to the various tables was unbalanced at best. It was an odd experience with tasty food ‍

Great service and amazing food! The Ginger hot tea is absolutely delicious and a must try! The decor is very chic, clean and has great atmosphere!

After ordering for years over the phone and living with the basic menu, I'd have given this 3 stars. Ordering online we found you can modify EVERYTHING. We like more variety of vegetables in our curries, so when we could up the eggplant quotient, this place gained a star. Crab Rangoons and chicken satay are respectable. The curries are solid and medium heat has a little kick but doesn't blow your mind. Order an extra large rice if you're getting 2-3 entrees, you'll want it for leftovers.

So we have been here seven times before over the past 6-7 years or so, with parties as large as 15, or as small as 4. This is pretty much the first time since 2020 we have come back for a meal. But the food taste has gone down alot-I get the supply chain issues and expense of food now, so I understand why our thai coffee had a bit more ice, smaller glass and a bit more price-wise. But our food-the honey wings, garlic noodles, garlic prawn shrimp and pad Thai noodles was lacking taste and seasoning. All of us who had come several times before weren't too happy this go round. Maybe it was a bad day for the cook, or perhaps they were new. But either way the price I paid today, did not feel it was worth it, we weren't very happy. The statf were nice and attentive, but today I wished I had gone elsewhere.

The oak park area doesn't have very many options when it comes to Thai food but you won't be disappointed here! There are lots of tables but the seating area is narrow so if you are going with a big group I would recommend Calling ahead. Or there's always takeout! We went on a Monday and they offer an amazing deal for lunch. You get the soup of the day, an appetizer and a main dish! We decided to do that and we were not disappointed. The appetizers come in smaller proportions than the normal menu but the main dishes were huge so you won't go hungry. We also ordered Thai iced coffee which lived up to its expectations. Overall I think this place is great and the server was very polite and helpful.

Great food! Nice service, me and my family love everything we have tried. The soups are good. The fried rice is not greasy. The pad Thai noodles are one of my favorite dishes.

This is relatively elegant Thai food, but squash makes me nauseous. So I asked to leave it out. Twice. Still, lots of squash. No eggplant, though! I couldn't get the food down. Some people are sensitive to cucurbitacins -- this is not simply preference.

Our experiences here have been just okay. Better than lots, but not great! The latest experience happened tonight when our order was over 30 min behind schedule. We expected it to come out absolutely perfect since we waited so long. The chicken curry dish came with only 2 very small pieces of chicken. Very disappointing! But the curry itself was delicious. I would highly recommend the Basil Noodles with chicken - that was a really good dish.
