How to Spend 24 Excellent Hours in Charlottesville, Va. - Eater DC

"Virginia might not be known for their bagel prowess, but Bodo’s has a firm grip on the best bagel in town. Get a classic BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) on an everything bagel and marvel at the simple genius and efficiency in which the bagel-wich is made." - Robey Martin

The Bodo’s on the corner is so convenient. It’s cheap, fantastic and quick. Highly recommend if you’re on grounds. I tried the Ceasar salad this last time and it was amazing!

Bodo’s had great bagels, but I didn’t love the cream cheese. The bagels were cooked perfectly, but the cream cheese was way too runny. I also would prefer that they cut the bagels in half after putting on cream cheese to make it easier to eat. The staff was super nice and the prices were very reasonable. Also, great mirror to snap a quick selfie so I could tell my parents I was eating a bagel.

Pretty good college town bagel shop. Leaving one star off because they wouldn’t toast my nephew Aadi’s bagel. Apparently, they never toast the bagels. It’s a bit weird that in a town based solely around Jefferson, Bobo’s Bagels deny folks the agency to toast a bagel.

Big bagels at a fair price! They are all build your own bagels. It's clean, reasonable, good location with plenty of seating!

Great bagels for great prices! The line was long on a Saturday morning but there were plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy the food. I got a bagel with lox and cream cheese, all fresh tasting. Also tasty coffee for, great spot!

Food is very fresh and decent. They don’t have much more than bagels and some cold sandwiches, somehow their menu leaves me all confused. Anyway, my egg sandwich was hot and satisfying.

I love their fresh warm sesame bagels either with cream cheese or as a sandwich, good value for excellent meal. Coffee is ok, refill is only 56 cents so eat there to make the coffee value better. Or down the first cup there and refill on the way out. Long lines go quickly. The location on the corner is the nicest. The drive thru on Emmet is convenient.
