As a quick Google search will show, there are countless examples and stories of consumers experiencing the same customer service issue - Bodum will ghost you. I have never had a company that simply doesn't respond to their customers. In my instance, I have been attempting to claim a replacement coffee grinder under their warranty period after it started acting up - six weeks later I still have not been able to illicit a response from them. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and I encourage others to do the same.
Bottom line - do not waste your money on a Bodum product. Their products are mediocre at best, their customer service is non-existent, and your purchase is NOT protected.
