B.O.G. Hotel - 5 Estrellas de Lujo

We had a great stay at the B.O.G Hotel in Bogota. The rooms are contemporary and very clean, with the only complaint the fact that the seperate toilet room isn't isolated from the main room and you can clearly hear whatever is going on in there... Everything else was great. The complimentary breakfast has a lot of delicious selections and the servers are very quick to refill your coffee - which, as expected was delicious. They also have a driver parked out front to take you anywhere you would like to go. You do pay for it, but the fares are very reasonable and unlike the Taxis, you can pay with a credit card. Our driver, Angi, was so pleasant and accomodating that it relally helped make it easy to get around the city and find the destinations we were looking for. She drives an electric car, which was even better. No exhause fumes and a quiet smooth ride - it's much more pleasant than driving in the combustion cars here. I which all hotels had a driver waiting outside to help you navigate the city like the BOG does.

The service was great as everyone was so attentive and friendly. Rooms were clean. We arrived late at night after the restaurant was closed but room service was 24 hours and the food was so good! The hotel is a little far from the tourist attractions and you’ll need to uber or taxi but the neighborhood is very safe.

Executive room offers plenty of room, stylish but it is not new, shows it's age, not too old but clean. Excellent service, buffet is average, gym is very limited and small. Location is premium. Room service was very good.

The BOG is well located and overall a good hotel. Service was friendly, and they even upgraded me upon arrival, much appreciated. However, the room faced the main road. Some might not mind, but I’m a light sleeper, and unfortunately, I could hear every car passing by at night, which affected the experience. The room itself was nice, though not particularly modern. I’d guess the hotel was built around 15 years ago, and in some areas, it’s starting to show. I had lunch and a coffee in the lobby — the espresso was excellent, but the food was just average, and the restaurant lacked any real atmosphere. Luckily, there are plenty of good options to eat nearby.

A special thank you to Alexandra and Lorena, who played an essential role in helping me plan a once-in-a-lifetime proposal to my girlfriend. Their attention to detail was unmatched. From helping coordinate a talented decorator, photographer, and videographer, to making sure every part of the day went off perfectly—they thought of everything. Thanks to their care and dedication, we created a memory we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. It was more than a vacation; it was the start of a new chapter. We’ll always be grateful to Alexandra, Lorena, and the entire BOG Hotel team for making it so special. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a thoughtful, elevated experience—especially if you’re planning a meaningful moment.
