It was above expectations, we had a great evening. Love that there was a half glass wine pairing option, it's the first time I've seen that and it was more than enough! The food was perfect, the kicks of flavours and punches of colour, the tofu was off the charts, I don't think I've ever had a tofu dish that tasted that good.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Every dish was perfectly balanced and delicious, with presentation that was simply spectacular. The explanations of each course and the service were excellent, and the wine tasting was also incredible. Usually, when you have such a variety of food and different wines, it can feel heavy on your stomach, but here it felt just right and perfect. The décor is somewhat sober, which is fine, though I would make it a bit cozier and more comfortable since you spend several hours there. I would definitely go back without hesitation.

Bog is a modern, Nordic inspired restaurant in one of the hip neighborhoods of Den Haag, offering elevated dining experience with a focus on local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. While there are many such restaurants popping up everywhere these days, Bog is a good option if you want to try out such experience. We had a nice experience dining at Bog. The dishes were carefully crafted, and the use of seasonal produce really shone through as most dishes were built on a handful of ingredients. During dinner you are served creative courses as well as amuse-bouches and extras on the side that add to the value without feeling overdone or pretentious. While I can't comment on a specific dish since their menu changes frequently, the pigeon was one of the highlights of our meal. It was well prepared. In contrast to the food, the wine list felt limited. The variety and depth of flavors in the dishes would benefit from a broader selection of wines to match and enhance the experience. The staff was welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, and the service was well-paced. Although some of the staff weren't fully familiar with the dishes or the wines. Still, we would recommend Bog, and we would revisit to try out their menu once it changes.

Scandinavian inspired restaurant with beautiful dishes and great flavours. Each course was unique and better than the next, plus the wine pairing was spot on. Having kombucha for the non alcoholic was a great touch. We went during a busy evening so service was a bit slower than we would have liked. Ended our dinner at 11pm which was a bit late Other than that everything was spotless

Bog serves delicious and pretty food! We never had new Nordic cuisine and with al the fresh local ingredients it was very tasty. Most dishes had a sour fresh taste, which I really enjoyed. The home made bread is amazing. Wine pairing is on point. Service was friendly and correct. Don't go here when you are super hungry as the dishes are small. Definitely enjoyed our meal here. Price is definitely on the high side for what you get, still I would be back one day to enjoy a new menu.

We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday with delicious food and this place did not disappoint. The whole evening was a culinary journey from beginning to end. Every dish was an experience of its own with the sauce usually bringing it home (for me). While all were delightful and memorable, the one that stood out and surprised me the most (in a good way) was the dessert - it was an enchanting combination of beautifully paired and balanced flavors. I will definitely recommend this place and hope to come back one day!

If you are looking for something fancy and different, this is the place to go. We were greeted with a few starters: thin, seedy crackers with dipping cheese; radishes presented aesthetically; and proper seaweed with soft cream cheese. We were then served a five-course meal. There is a “meat and fish” option and a vegetarian option. The meat and fish dishes can be swapped with the vegetarian ones if there is a course you don’t fancy. Each dish is paired with a wine. There was a choice between a half-glass or a full glass of wine. I loved the idea of a half-glass, as it allows enjoyment without excessive drinking. The wines complemented each dish beautifully. The candle on our dessert was a lovely finishing touch for our anniversary. I thoroughly enjoyed this culinary experience.

Excellent experience. Highly recommended to celebrate a special occasion. The food is prepared and served with so much care and attention to detail! We tried the 2 different set of dishes, the vegetarian and non-vegetarian. None of the plates disappointed. The half wine pairing was great to enjoy the wines and not drink excessively. We will for sure visit Bøg again!

Very curious about this new place we've been told about, we finally grab our bikes and head towards this place (after booking as it appears to be quite a sought after place ;-) ) First the place itself: simple Nordic theme, very relaxing colours. A bit of simple light wood for the tables and some little wood touches here and there. Very nice. As for the food: you can only select if you want the vegetarian option. We went for the non vegetarian option, but even that looks very good. Menu is fixed. You start with what they call snacks... Yummmmmmy :-) three small dishes with lots of flavours and fresh products. And then the 4 courses. Each time a small dish, beautifully presented, again lots of flavours, using fresh products and herbs. Tartar, oyster, lobster, sea bass, all deliciously prepared with very original taste combinations. Ended with a delicious desert, still in line with the beautiful minimalist Nordic presentation ;-) As for service: very friendly. As all dishes take a lot of time to prepare, count an easy 2:30 for your dinner, don't go here if you're in a rush. And go here for the taste, not for stuffing yourself ;-) small and excellent dishes. 4 start only because of the fact that I was a bit hungry at the end, but it looks like they are attempting at getting it back by going after a Michelin star :-) go go go!

I can concur on al points to the very extensive review of Yann P. A great surprise, very nice ambience and more important: delicious food! Very tastfull, original and wel proportioned. Just go there and be surpised and overwhelmed!
