Bohemia is a new Balinese inspired restaurant located in Williamsburg. The vibe, ambiance and decor are all amazing! Upon arriving, you will instantly be transported to Bali. The menu includes South East Asian inspired small plates and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff are also attentive and friendly. This place does get busy later at night so depending on what setting you want, you can visit accordingly. Also this spot would be great for a celebration or groups.

Right In williamsburg, Bohemia is a beautiful restaurant with a relaxing ambiance and picturesque views. However, the food wasn't the best for the price. Although the menu offers a variety of options, the dishes were just okay and didn't quite meet expectations. Despite this, if you're on a budget, happy hour is the best time to go. Overall, I would give Bohemia 3/5 stars - it's a nice place to grab a drink and enjoy the scenery, but don't expect a gourmet dining experience. Great ambiance and atmosphere. Service was good. There's a live dj sometimes, but not when we were there. The food presentation was very nice, but like I said earlier, the taste didn't measure up. I do recommend it for the experience. I really enjoyed my espresso martini.

We came here for lunch and we loved it. Although it was literally empty, we still enjoyed it. The employees are very friendly, very attentive and served us very fast. The food was good as well, and the drinks too. The ambience is great. I will return for dinner for sure.

Google
the ambiance was a 4-10. The pictures online are not what you get. Cold draft the whole time too. We ordered two salmons and got one. The attentiveness was a 6-10 and they were over friendly after making that era and it wasn’t really received well. Also the rice was not cooked and crunchy. You’re stuck with auto gratuity regardless of the service you get. They managed to continually ask how was our experience after they seen it wasn’t an enjoyable one. Go at your own risk.

Google
It's a very beautiful venue. Service is impeccable. Food is very tasty. But, dj music was faceless and tasteless boom-boom, if you could say that. and eden annoying. It's very overpriced. The 3 small impanadas are $22. The steak was very thin and cooked medium when ordered medium rare but very tasty. The dessert menu is very limited as well as the rest of the menu.

I had a memorable and unexpected night at Bohemia! I was there for dinner but ended up dancing for hours with their house DJs. Cocktails were phenomenal, probably participating to me dancing there for hours!

Wonderful experience in a comforting and exquisite environment. So chic in every corner of this bohemian oasis. Enjoyed my “green” celery juice cocktail. Felt like I was taking the healthy choice, yet tasted absolutely delicious. 100% recommend (:

Google
You’re really going here for the aesthetic. The food is okay but I mainly do takeout. They’re usually consistent but today they gave me mee goreng noodles with vegetables with barely any sauce. For $32 I expect the full meal. Not this.

Yelp
I've been writing the review for months... lol. However, I am a fan of this place!!! The look of this spot alone is picturesque. Definitely Instagram worthy. Who ever did the decor I would like them to do my apt. LOL This night we literally just ordered apps & sides... Watermelon Crudo Waygu Empanadas Mee Goreng Grilled Cheese Blistered Green Beans Fries We got everything within maybe 20 or so mins. Definitely happy w/ the service. I want to make a trip here for brunch. We shall see!

Yelp
Went for brunch with a large group. I personally love the space, though there's room for improvement! When you enter, it's large and aesthetic with the boho greenery set up. It feels like they took parts from various themes and couldn't stick to one - from Buddha, greenery, to disco ball and LED paintings. The lack of cohesion is fun in my opinion, though my group was puzzled by it. We were the only group there on a weekend, so I'm not sure why it lacks the service volume it can get. Food was good - albeit menus for food and drinks aren't updated. Some things were out and they said they have to change their menu. The burger was delicious, as was the steak and eggs. Average portions; not big or small. Drinks were good - but frustrating that they won't come around to give you bottomless unless you hunt them down. The small pitchers they give also didn't fill the whole groups glasses so it was a lot of time wasted, waiting around for drinks. The waitress was friendly whenever she did come around, so we appreciate that. Overall - I do hope they improve because as a native New Yorker who enjoys brunch as their favorite meal, I don't see this type of restaurant making it in the brunch division if they don't.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this spot, I like that it turns into a club at 10.. it was a nice surprise. We had the waygu empanadas, the shrimp toast, the lamb and the mee goreng noodles. Everything was delicious, just wish the noodles were a little less sweet. The cocktails were good and there were a lot of photo ops. Bohemia was perfect for a girls night out or even date night. I was 30 mins late and was still seated immediately upon arrival. Will be returning. Tip: the club starts at 10, but entry is free if you were there before 10 for dinner.

Yelp
First of all, this place is beautiful Secondly, the food was amazing! We went for the bottomless brunch. Definitely not balinese food but the food was delicious. We ordered the tuna, steak and eggs and eggs benedict. For drinks, we fell in love with the Garden of Eden. It was tasty, unique and strong. The service was great as well! Definitely coming back :)

Yelp
Came here with my cousins for brunch and it was a really nice experience from the beginning to the end. Parking can be a little difficult after circling around a few times we just parked in the lot. I liked the fact that the room is open and the tables aren't on top of one another. The lights, the paintings, the music (dj & drummer) it all ties into a good vibe. My server was alright she was young I do feel like she could have been more hands on and attentive but other than that everything was great. We decided firstly to go with the unlimited mimosa there were two other drink options that you are able to switch back n forth but I was satisfied with the mimosa and stick to that. One of my cousins doesn't drink alcohol so she did order a green tea. For the lighter side on the menu we chose Smoothie bowl that was fresh not overly sweet and my cousin really, really enjoyed it. I got the avocado toast which comes with two poached eggs yummmm it was presented well and tasted delishhhhh. We also ordered a side of sourdough toast which had grill marks which added a lightly smoked flavor. For the larger side I ordered the fire Island French toast which was topped with bananas it was thick, not overly sweet and the syrup paired with it was so good. My cousin ordered the Bali big breakfast which comes with a little of everything I mean eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, tomato and toast! We did ask that the bacon be removed however they still gave it to us I just put it on the side. (This you do have to be careful of) She did not make it a big deal of this. She really enjoyed her eggs and the chili sauce they put on top she couldn't get enough of it. Please note the eggs here are really good! Lastly my cousin ordered the Pandan pancakes and they were green which we asked about and were told it's from a tea extract. The pancakes were also very good light, fluffy. She also ordered a side of Turkey sausage. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was good too. Yeni kept us feeling GREAT‼ I'm back here again wen I'm back in town again..

Yelp
A "trendy" looking spot in Williamsburg/ nice ambiance. Went here for brunch with a large group. They seemed to be out of a lot of things but I enjoyed the seared tuna salad that I got. Likely wouldn't return but seems accommodating for a large group. It was nice that the whole group wasn't forced to do bottomless brunch!

Yelp
New spot in Brooklyn with Balinese cuisine but it wasn't giving. The service was good, our waiter was a bit hard to understand but provided okay service. The ambiance was thrown off unsure if they knew what they wanted to do themselves. The dishes were not Balinese inspired, small menu with small plates. On the table were Nasibal, Waygu Empanadas, Pork Belly Bao, Kari Ikan, and Mee Goreng with side orders of coconut rice, and green beans. Nothing on this table was special, very basic flavors I wanted to be wowed. Drinks were, When in Indonesia, Con Piña, Go Bananas and Go Coco. Best ones were Con Piña and Go Bananas which was basically an old fashioned. Keep in mind gratuity is already included on the bill. And it's apart of the hotel right next door, Coda. I hear Fridays is their best days.
google avatar

Kim K.

Yelp
To the right of the Coda Williamsburg lobby through glass doors and down the stairs awaits a new "dining- slash-nightclub" experience. Sprinkled with little totem type characters, tree motifs, tree trunk tables, a large buddha esque head above the bar and a green wall, the elements give a minimal Zen slash Tao slash Buddha Bar vibe. They nailed the dining slash nightclub vibe. Bohemia has knowledgable bartenders and friendly staff going for it so far. The drinks were divine and the food I had- scallop cerviche and a noodle/egg/grilled cheese sandwich were fantastic. This is a great spot for events or group gatherings.
google avatar

Joseph T.

Yelp
Swung by for an after dinner drink around 10 on Thursday night. Surprised to find this "bar / nightclub" already closing done. Certainly wouldn't categorize Bohemia as a night club. More of a cool hotel bar. Had some whiskey. Drinks seemed pretty standard. Service was pretty quick. Convenient if you're staying at the hotel upstairs.

Yelp
We were really excited for this new Southeast Asian spot but were pretty disappointed... Food: 2/5. We came for the food but it was super okay. We ordered the Fried Rice Sticks, Lamb Ribs and Steak. All of them lacked flavoring and tasted almost bland. Not to mention that the flavors were quite inauthentic, and tasted neither Asian nor Western or fusion. It was just confusing what we were eating. I will say however that the ribs and steak were really tender and good quality meat Service: 4/5. The service was good and the waitress was super friendly. However, the bus boys kept trying to take our plates when we still had food on it, which was just very annoying.. Vibes: 4/5. The vibes were good, good music, ambient lighting, and nice decor. However, because the restaurant was mostly empty (on a Friday), it just didn't do it for us Price: 2/5. The prices were pretty high for most of the food and wasn't really worth what we got. We paid $60 pp for two of us, 1 app and 2 mains, no drinks I don't think I will be coming back for food, but may consider going back for drinks bc apparently people said it's good

Yelp
Bohemia, Williamsburg Brooklyn NYC Inside the beautiful, sensually-lit space you can dine on delicious Balinese food. The unique restaurant's menu and decor is inspired by Bali and can be found on the ground floor of the Coda hotel. I thought the service was excellent, the staff was attentive, gave great recommendations and explanations of the menu, and were very friendly. Great spot for a date night or a small intimate group. Also, the smells and flavors of the Mee Goreng noodles lives in my dreams, I will order that every time I go! Watermelon Crudo - coconut, lime, yuzu, mint, chile crisp, sesame, shallots Mee Goreng - Fresh noodles, vegetables, chile crisp, herby fried egg Bul-Gado-Gado - crispy bulgur, miso sweet potato, tofu, kale, satay dressing

Yelp
Good spot for a quick bite or drinks before going out. Fun parties on the weekends. Tried the bao buns and a Negroni, both great. Girlfriend had an espresso martini, said it was decent. Would probably come back for brunch or another party.

Yelp
New spot in Williamsburg. Very spacious inside.Interior is incredible. I like that the menu isn't huge - they have just the right food. Carefully prepared . Nice staff too
google avatar

Elina A.

Yelp
The menu can be improved a little (taste wise) but drinks were amazing and the place is a total Vibe, super cute atmosphere and they even has dancing on a Friday. Service was great and food came out rather quick
google avatar

Nikki T.

Yelp
An absolutely incredible new addition to the Williamsburg dining scene - wow! Family style plates are generous; you really only need 2-3 smaller plates or 1-2 bigger plates to fill up. We started with the Scallop Ceviche, then shared the Shrimp Toast & Rib Eye Steak. Everything was perfect! The chef even popped-up by say hi! Probably the best restaurant I have been to in Brooklyn, and top 5 ever in all of NYC. Fabulous!!

Yelp
Had a great time here! Came with a party of twelve and we were easily and happily accommodated. There weren't a lot of people there at 1 on a Saturday so it was easy to get serviced efficiently. The food was GREAT. A lot of bottomless brunch places don't have good food to match but they were able to break that curse lol. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Anne F.

Yelp
New restaurant, the drinks were better than the food options. The atmosphere and decor was fine. The music and dishes were not Balinese inspired.
google avatar

Julian S.

Yelp
They have a great weekend brunch. The portions of the food was good & they were able to host a big group without any problems. The music and ambiance was so fun. My friends had a great time here.
google avatar

Sydney M.

Yelp
Bussers and wait staff are sweet . Food is good. Dj is good. This is below a hotel vibes

Dee R.

Yelp
Great ambiance with Josh as the host, even though we came late for our reservation and got discarded like a rag doll, they accommodated our presences and gave us a 20% off on the mimosas. Brunch ends at 4pm. Food came out really quickly and was really good. I suggest the French toast and frittata with a couple of sides. Would def recommend!

Aleeka R.

Yelp
Service was quick, music is loud and lit, food doesn't disappoint. Would def recommend

Johanne L.

Yelp
The restaurant is not open even but they are still accepting reservations via Resy, sending reminders for those reservations, and threatening to charge $50 if the reservations are not kept!
google avatar

Cheska M.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner with 8 of my friends ready to have a good time but we were met with consistently curt and cold staff who were not interested in making our time pleasant. The food and drinks were average but what's stopping me from coming back is the staff. The space has lots of potential to be a cool/trendy dinner but they need to replace the entire staff with people who aren't miserable.
google avatar

Murphy B.

Yelp
It was a really nice place. Real nice vibe. The food was good, service wasn't so great from my experience, the wait for food was long, my drinks even longer. I recommend it though
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
I really like the vibe and the feeling of going to a far away place. The cocktails are an elevated experience. If you like ginger they have a great mezkal ginger concoction.

Marlon-Andrew E.

Yelp
Recess, Bohemia and the the patrons made a concoction of just VYBZ. Thank you. Great ambience, delicious menu and spectacular hospitality

Cameron M.

Yelp
Came for #Recess Dope vibe, amazing attentive service, and the pancakes were f****** delicious ‍‍‍

Robynn C.

Yelp
The host was very rude, disrespectful and racist. They were not accommodating at all. I was told that the reservation I made was for 2 people, even though I showed her proof I made it for 3 people. Her solution was to seat us on a small couch in the back corner of the restaurant. Mind you, there was PLENTY of tables available at the time. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. 1/10 would not recommend.

Jerald B.

Yelp
Amazing service, amazing ambience, I'll be back sooner than later! Perfect for a date night!

Akeesha W.

Yelp
This place is a vibe. You want cute aesthetics with great music and food-- this is your next brunch place. The brunch menu is a bit limited but it's not a problem cause the food is good. It's a little busy so Just ask for a pitcher if you do bottomless. Overall will be back here!!

William S.

Yelp
I came today with my friends and everything was perfect, the food is amazing and flavorful, the service was great. I have no negative complaints about this restaurant.

Lindsey T.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner, and i had a reservation for 2 at 8:15, i was not sat until 9pm and i was not even a handed a menu for another 15 minutes after that. My main course came out before my appetizer and drinks I was not checked on for over 30 minutes after that and had to go get my check from the front desk. Unfortunate experience, wish i could rate it higher cause the food was amazing .

Olivia C.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance and service!! Andre was so wonderful and took amazing care of us. I don't usually like burgers but their burger was delicious as was the mee goreng!! Really strong flavors and a unique menu.

julia A.

Yelp
came here to bring a friend out to dinner for her birthday- vibes were good, staff seemed nice- food was sub par, the next day when I woke up I saw two separate charges one from Bohemia one from coda. I tried contacting them on multiple different platforms and when they finally answered they basically said "sorry for the inconvenience we charge under "Bohemia", clearly not caring at all and not offering any assistance. in order to dispute the charge I had to shut my card down and get a new one. I had dinner at 6pm, my bank told me the charges were at 11 and 12am, super disappointing management seems messy

E C.

Yelp
This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The hostess (brown hair orange sweater wearing a fedora like hat) was the rudest person - she greeted us with "what are you here for" as if we were an inconvenience to her, like obviously our reservation, refused to seat us and even went so far as to walk in large circles to ignore us (behaved like a child!), sat several groups before us who had reservations after us, wouldn't speak to us, we had to get the general manager who was so nice and got us seated right away. The whole experience was so obviously horrendous that the manager comp'ed half our meal and gave us a round of drinks. I'm not sure how they can keep her there but I've never experienced anything like this and for her not to have the maturity to own up to her mistakes made it all worse. While I feel bad writing this because everyone else was so lovely, she was so terrible it really ruined our experience.
