Always nice experience whenever I come to this market. I like to support local businesses so this is best place for me to shop where you can support a lot of local businesses at one place. People always come with great ideas. Food stalls just yum yum yummy. Love to see people of different cultures to support each others. Atmosphere is so electric with great vibes.

Good event with lots of great food, but the queues were just too long. We waited up to 20 minutes in some instances. Parking may be a problem so perhaps best to take public transportation. It was a good day out and I will definitely do it again.

Very convenient location, opposite Hackney central overground station around the track arches. Follow their website for events. There are other restaurants and places to spend time together.

Delicious jerk chicken...First stand you see infront of the huge black wall. But when we ordered the MIX BOX for £15, we weren't expecting to receive this tiny portion of jerk and I only got 1 piece of plantain on mine. My advice is to see what everyone else's food from any stall looks like before ordering. This doesn't reflect the market as a whole which we really enjoyed visiting and will be returning too as we didn't get to try thr vegan puff puffs.

It's not huge, but when there are events happening here it's a good vibe. It would be more accessible and safer for people if they filled in the various pot holes and broken drain covers.

The music was boring and there was no vibes to go with it. No one new any of the dub tunes and was far too deep beyond enjoyable. As per usual any that is black culture related has an expensive price tag. Drinks were far too expensive. £10 for rum & coke, £15 for a small box of food. No toilets and you were not allowed out. They were even charging people £10 extra if you were late. They even allowed people in without a ticket and charged them £10, 2 hrs before it ended. One female security was very rude almost dragon like. Music speakers clashed with what was going on in the bar/club inside and the food queue was ridiculously long (1hr) as only 2/3 food choices. Wouldn’t waste my money again going next year unless the flavour of the music changes.
