"Chef Brian O’Connor’s wildly successful Bok a Bok, a growing fast-casual chain that draws long lines for its crispy Korean fried chicken, rice bowls, sandwiches, and kimchi mac and cheese, will open a Burien location today at 11 a.m. at 131 SW 153rd St. It’s Bok a Bok’s third location after popular White Center and Capitol Hill outposts, and if day one in Burien is anything like it was on Capitol Hill, the fried chicken could sell out today." - Megan Hill

They brine the chicken for hours, which adds to the flavor throughout. Highly recommend their chicken sandwiches, dirty crinkle fries & wings, chicken pieces. Best Korean fried chicken, hands down. Oh and the spicy ranch is perfection!

Easy parking and easy to find. Right off the freeway and opened early (11am) for lunch. Worked out perfect as we were traveling up north. Clean bathroom if you care. Staff was friendly and they bring the food out to you after you order at the counter. Drinks seem to be limited, unfortunately. The quality of the chicken meat itself was very good and juicy. Not overly cooked or dry. However, a bit to much breading than I would like and flavors are limited and not the greatest with what they have. I would prefer Vons in CA, or even jollibee.

Never seen a bathroom like this in a restaurant! Wow it’s spotless! We all loved the food, from our 2-year old to 89-year old. The tights are boneless and yummy, we loved the spicy sauce and the ranch ... so yummy. We will be back and already told our friends to come.

Iconic, epic, tasty, delightful, crunchy, crispy, bright, fresh, everything you want and more - a personal favorite. Dirty bird sandwich is KILLER and the chocopies are awesome. Reasonably priced and absolutely SMACKIN ✨

Super crispy fried chicken. I went for the Sesame Soy Garlic sandwich and it was delicious. The lemon aioli adds a nice fresh flavor and the soy sauce is a little sweet and not too salty.

I ordered through DoorDash and tried the kimchi mac n' cheese, honey garlic wings, and Chinese honey mustard wings. The kimchi mac n' cheese was tasty but didn't have much kimchi in it as far as I could notice, though it was very good regardless. The honey garlic wings were the best thing I ordered tonight and I would order them again! However, the Chinese honey mustard wings were the worst flavored wings I've ever had. Maybe one of the most awful dishes I've eaten. I'm not sure how I'd describe them besides being plain bad... For me practically inedible. I'd try other things on the menu next time. Since I couldn't make myself eat them I rated three stars instead of four.

I saw this place as I was walking by and the name and sign caught my eye. The seating area is small but sufficient for those that want to eat in, but I was taking it out. My order was the Umami BBQ Sandwich and KimChi Mac-n-Cheese. As you can see in the photo, the chicken was generous in the sandwich and the texture of the breading and the moist center made for a delicious sandwich enhanced by the slaw on top, though I'd have enjoyed a bit more slaw. The slaw had a refreshing quality to it much like a Vietnamese sub's vegetables. The KimChi Mac was not so refreshing. You see, I was expecting to actually have kimchi mixed in with my mac-n-cheese as my diet could always benefit from a few more veggies especially formerly fermented ones. However, it was spiced like kimchi only. Still, it was very cheesy. Overall, I'd expect this 'new to Burien' joint to be a bit of a hit. Give it a shot! Update: It was a fluke with the macaroni and cheese. I've since returned and found generous amounts of kimchi in it.
