Bok Bok Chicken opening date Henderson | Eater Vegas

"The second of a planned five-location Mediterranean-style fast-casual chicken concept is set to open Oct. 5 at 725 S. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson, replacing the former Hot Head Burritos near Donut Mania. It mirrors the original westside location in style, menu and hours (10 a.m.–10 p.m., seven days a week), and features shawarma, falafel, rotisserie chicken plates, pita sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts such as baklava and rice pudding. The company is also planning additional expansion, including a northside site at 6572 N. Decatur Boulevard and a move into Town Square next year." - Bradley Martin

Updated: Bok Bok Chicken Flies to Town Square | Eater Vegas

"A rapidly expanding Mediterranean fast-casual counter-service restaurant is slated for the Town Square dining annex, offering a menu built around rotisserie chicken, beef shawarma and made-to-order falafel; the concept also plans to bake its own pita bread and serve a signature Tan and Sumac lemonade. The operator has pushed quickly into the local market and has additional Las Vegas-area openings planned in Centennial Hills, Green Valley and near Summerlin later this year. The Town Square outpost is expected to back onto Las Vegas Boulevard near the complex entrance and sit across the parking lot from Fry’s Electronics and Total Wine & More; no official confirmation or timetable has been announced." - Bradley Martin

A Mediterranean Fast-Casual Restaurant Hatches in Las Vegas This Summer | Eater Vegas

"I'm expecting a modern fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant in Green Valley Ranch at 725 S. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 150 this summer that will focus on rotisserie chicken, beef shawarma, falafel and made-in-house pita bread. The menu will include sandwiches such as pitas and paninis, plates with a choice of hummus or mutabbal and an eggplant dip, and sides including falafel, fattoush, hummus, sarma stuffed grape leaves, a tahini salad and toom (a garlic sauce with lemon). Desserts will feature baklava, asthma (a shredded file pastry with sweet cream) and gatnaboor (rice pudding with cinnamon and rosewater), and tan and sumac lemonade is on the menu. Founder Silva Chamanian says the locations will have modern looks, range from about 1,100 to 2,400 square feet and offer between 36 and 55 seats." - Susan Stapleton

Update: This used to be my favorite restaurant. I am lowering my five stars now to one star. . I decided to go to this Bok Bok yesterday with my family for dinner. We are never returning to this restaurant. I asked the guy behind the counter why I did not get a pita with my Veggie Plate. He said that the Veggie Plate does not come with a pita. So, I had to eat my hummus without a pita. Who serves hummus without pita! . If you too order the Veggie Plate, don't bother with this place. What a joke. Too bad since this used to be such a great restaurant. Original review: It looks like a fast food restaurant. You line up order your food and bring it to your table when they call you. However, when you bite into the food, pure heaven. I ate here two days in a row. The chicken was a huge portion that will really fill you up. My favorite is the shawarma. The spices on the shawarma are on another level of bliss. It reminded me of a flavorful desert. It is not as filling as the chicken, but I will always order it. I have eaten at many "Mediterranean" restaurants but they often disappoint because I am looking for that certain Lebanese flavor. Most Americans are happy with something that just looks the part but Bok Bok delivers high end cuisine. My mouth feels as if it is genuinely on a foreign vacation.

Very disappointed. Read reviews and had really high hopes for this restaurant, it was beyond disappointing. Went to the one off green valley. The place was clean, that was about the only pro. I got shwarma fries and she got a vegie shwarma plate. Looked good, but was far from it. Place was completely empty, now i know why. We went in at 2pm on a Saturday. Shwarma plate: Vegitables were old and not fresh. Salad dressing was sour and oily. Falafel was dense, seemed frozen and microwaved, absolutely not fresh or made to order. Dolmas were a few days old, grape wrapper was chewy and inedible. Quinoa salad was okay, hummus seemed old and was without flavor. They forgot the pita, went back to get it, atleast they didnt charge for it. Didnt finish half of it before stopping. Shwarma fries with everything: thick cut steak fries were warm but not crispy at all, they seemed microwaved. Were not fresh and were not handcut, frozeb all the way. Microwaved frozen fries, yummy. An overwhelming amount of hot sauce, little if any Tahini sauce. Tomatoes were old snd hsd been in a fridge for a while. Generous proportion of meat, but an odd flavor and chewy consistency. Stoppes eating halfway thru. Soda machine had only one working tap (sierra mist), ice tea was out of service. Water worked though. The employees seemed to be hating life. Nothing plesant from the woman who took our order, she seemed like she was hating being there during both when she took our order and gave us our food. The second employee came back from lunch when we were eating, face mask around his chin. While he was behind counter, working by food, that mask never came up to cover any part of his mouth or nose. Again, i had high expectations but this place really fell short on service, food quality and execution. I usually give the place the benefit of the doubt, but this establishment was just bad.

Very good quality food. Good amount as well. They have organic chicken here and gluten free food, vegan, pretty much something for everyone. We need more restaurants like this around. Staff was very friendly and will give free samples. The chicken salad was fresh and delicious. And the soups are amazing. Perfect for the winter.

Delicious Mediterranean food, paninis, pitas, soups, salad and sides. I had the Chicken Panini and the potato based Batata. Both were awesome and they gave me some spicy red sauce that really rocked the Batata. My wife had the Falafel Plate and Lentil Soup and enjoyed both. We will definitely go back again.

First time ordering from this chain and am very unsatisfied. I ordered online and arrived when the food should have been ready, it was not. The two employees seemed annoyed that we were even there. My 11 yr old even made a comment about their lack of customer service when we left. Pluses, the garlic Toom sauce is very similar to Zankou’s in LA and the pickled turnip was also similar, the chicken kebab and salad were tasty but the hummus was flavorless and the pita bread was thin and didn’t seem fresh. The half chicken was limp and tasteless. So disappointed as I was hoping this would be our go to replacement for Zankou. Not even close 😩😩

We had the shawerma plate and it was okay. I am middle eastern and to me this food is very very Americanized. The beef was coated in so much spice that it was dry tasting. The sides are good, but the beef was just not enjoyable. Service was excellent and the place was clean. Just did not enjoy the shawerma plate.

Awesome food! The Shawarma Plate was great. I had the hummus instead of the mutabbal but it looked pretty good as well. The salad was very good, I loved the toom and the rice pilaf was amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try more! The Cheese Boreg was also worth grabbing!
