"A few steps lead down to the attractive, minimalist-style restaurant on the ground floor of this smart corner-plot building. Laurin Kux presides in the kitchen, cooking up modern cuisine with seasonal influences. Dana, the chef's wife, is the woman behind the excellent and elaborate patisserie. The set menus are dubbed "Flora" (vegetarian) and "Fauna" and are available in four- to seven-course versions. The "Schnuppermenü" (Tue-Thu) is a lovely idea, too, offering as it does the option of a three-course meal comprising dishes taken from the full "Flora"/"Fauna" set menu. The ambitious house-made non-alcoholic drinks accompaniment is also recommended. The friendly and professional waitstaff provide astute wine recommendations. Unfortunately this was a mixed experience for us. The restaurant and decor is very cute and the service was top notch. However, a lot of the dishes had mushrooms in them, which wasn't clear on the menu and my friend does not ready to those. Also, one of her courses had severely burnt cabbage on it. When we mentioned it, we were told it was supposed to be like that, which made the dish very bitter. Also, the scallop course was way too sweet. Highlights were the carrot amuse bouche and the deer. For the prices, there are better Michelin Star restaurants in Münster.

First class establishment. We liked the relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were lovely. Fabulous cooking, hard to fault. Don't be fooled by the three £££ on the Michelin website, BOK is by no means inexpensive. 200eu per head with 4 courses. We left happy but will have to save up for our next culinary adventure.

Beautifully presented food served by an enthusiastic wait staff and chef team. This restaurants places impeccable attention to detail down to the uber-premium crystal wine glasses (often overlooked by many fine establishments). I especially appreciated the . While not cheap the price is very reasonable.

We ate here in May 2022. In short, there are very few restaurants this good, anywhere. The service was excellent, from taking our order in my weak German, to describing each dish in excellent English, to modifying a dish to meet a dietary restriction. The food, equally, was excellent. Everything was well-thought-out, interesting but not avant garde for the sake of being avant garde, and all delicious. I will go back whenever I am in Münster.

Way too expensive ! The food is good but really overpriced. We ve been there for a dinner with friends and we were disappointed. The différent dishes are somehow overcomplicated as if somehow they were trying to justifie the high prices. We ended up paying à lot of money for little food... this is not how fine gastronomie works! I eat regularly in stared restaurants and I m use to smaller portions/quantities on plate but I usually dont exit the restaurant still hungry. Even in münster there are other option better value for money!

Wir waren zu einem ganz besonderen Abend zu Zweit im BOK. Wir haben uns für das 4-Gänge Fauna Menü entschieden und durften etwas ganz besonderes Erleben. Man sieht, riecht und schmeckt die Liebe zum Detail. Jeder Gang war ausgewogen in Geschmack, Textur und auch Optik. Jedem Liebhaber vom Besonderen möchte ich dieses Restaurant empfehlen. Der Umgang mit den Gästen ist respektvoll und äußerst sympathisch sowie professionell ohne dabei unnahbar zu wirken. Das Zusammenspiel aus Weinkenntnis und Speise war absolut passend. Jedes Detail wurde beachtet und liebevoll in Szene gesetzt. Hier kommen alle Sinne auf ihre Kosten, denn neben Speisen und Getränken ist auch die Musik sehr gut ausgewählt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt auf die nächste kulinarische Erfahrung! Danke liebes Team vom BOK für dieses Erlebnis und den fantastischen Abend!

Ich bin immer noch sprachlos und denke mit voller Freude an einem wunderbaren Abend mit zwei sehr guten Freunden zurück. Das 7-Gang Menü war so facettenreich und handwerklich grandios hergestellt, 5 Sterne reichen hier nicht aus. Die Erklärung zu den einzelnen Gängen war sehr detailreich und die Weinbegleitung sehr passend. Immer wieder gerne. Eine absolute Empfehlung für Münster.
