I came specifically for happy hour, and it was awesome.
They have a good assortment of happy hour food plates $4, $6, and $9 plates and a cocktail menu. We ordered truffle fries, Boka salad, crispy kale, and a wagyu rib-eye (also came with fries). The truffle fries were great, and not oily. The crispy kale was doused in cheese, so I wouldn't say it was anything special. I would liken eating crispy kale to eating crispy seaweed. I could do without ordered it the next time around, as with the Boka salad. Both weren't terrible, just nothing spectacular in my eyes. Onto the meats. They were totes amaze. The short ribs just fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. So good. We ordered the steak cooked medium, and it was the perfect temperature and texture. I was very impressed. For the price and portion of each small plate, it was a definite happy hour success.
As for drinks, I ordered their drink special which was some vodka, blueberry lemonade concoction. It was... Not tasty at all. It tasted like cough medicine, not to mention it literally took 10 minutes to make it.
The atmosphere was sexy. It's located right next to the 1000 Hotel, so I expected something fancy.
I would definitely recommend this place for happy hour. The rest of the menu for dinner looked great too, so I plan on going back soon.
