Where to Find the Best Fried Chicken in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"While Water Ave’s Boke Bowl is better known for its bountiful bowls and bao sliders, it also features some of the best fried chicken in town once a week. Thursday nights, the Boke Bird takes center stage, inviting larger audiences to enjoy the show, family-style. For $45, party of four (or more) can enjoy a whole chicken that’s been brined for a full 48 hours, cold-smoked, chilled overnight, and then deep fried to a delightfully elegant, golden crunch sans dredging that’s finally costumed in a Tamari ginger vinaigrette with fried shallots and green onions. A supporting cast of banchan-like accoutrements, steamed buns, and rice join the main act, with a tight lineup of beer, wine, and cocktails rounding out the performance." - Ron Scott

Primo Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Portland

"The Bambino Bowl at Boke Bowl on Southeast Water Ave is one of the best kid-friendly dishes you’ll come across in Portland. The simple-but-delicious ramen bowl comes with noodles, broth, snow peas, and a choice of caramelized fennel tofu or pork. Similarly, the Bambino rice bowl comes with a choice of protein plus snow peas, carrots, and cucumbers. Boke Bowl also has a nice assortment of steam buns — fried chicken, miso mushroom, jackfruit, brisket — and a peanut butter and jelly steam bun for kids. Some juice for the kids and craft cocktails or sake for the adults will have everyone happy, and the shop’s dinosaur chopsticks are a great way to get uninitiated kids started." - Jenni Moore, Levi Rogers

We absolutely loved our experience at Boke Bowl! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, a perfect blend of modern, casual dining with a strong community vibe. The menu offers a creative fusion of East and West, and you can tell a lot of thought went into both the flavors and the presentation. We ordered the fried chicken bowl and the tuna poke bowl, and both were outstanding. The use of fresh, seasonal vegetables really stood out and added an extra layer of flavor and texture to the dishes. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tuna poke was fresh and beautifully balanced. We highly recommend adding a side of their pickled veggies, they were tangy, vibrant, and paired perfectly with both bowls. One detail that really impressed us as parents: they provide small water cups for kids along with the silverware. It may seem minor, but thoughtful touches like that make families feel welcome and included. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and creativity of the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Overall, Boke Bowl offers something truly special—delicious, thoughtfully prepared food in a relaxed and inclusive setting. We’ll definitely be back and encourage anyone in the area to give it a try!

Loved! Tofu rice bowl. Tons of veggies. Delicious. Daughter had the fried chicken rice bowl. Ate it all! We are very selective. Can’t wait to come back. Front of the house was very welcoming. .

Google
Crazy good. Crazy cheap. Makes me proud to live in PDX. This place is a perfect example of Portland taking food to the next level. I was just down in San Francisco and paid $70 for a bowl that I would argue tastes worse than heavenly bliss they serve here. Brussels sprouts. Not a #1 on my list. But this place somehow made them my favorite part of the dish. I leave this place feeling like I took some supplements. You know that feeling when your body tells you all the vitals are in check. Yup this place does that. Arguably the best soup, dumplings, and somehow fried chicken spot on PDX. You need to go here, it's not a matter of if, but when. Plan it, do it. You won't be disappointed. In fact you'll be back for more with friends.

Google
This was a 3.5 for me. Came here for dumpling week, loved the lamb wontons!! Super flavorful, high quality lamb, and a deliciously chewy wrapper. I was not a fan of the pork belly buns, the kimchi was horrible and way too salty, and their rice tots are very interesting. I can see them being a great option for GF eaters though. Other things on the menu sound yummy, but I don’t see myself coming back here.

Google
Fried chicken rice bowl contains chicken, vegetables, cucumbers, kimchi, etc., as well as rice. It is much bigger than the picture, so it is enough to fill you up. It tastes even better when you add the spicy sauce on the table. The menu does not include 3% CAT, and the actual price is calculated with it.

I stopped in here for Portland Wiener Week — yes that’s a thing! Their rendition of the hotdog (named the Boke Smoky Sausage) was refreshing and my personal favorite on the list of Wiener Week participants. It had an inventive Korean fusion twist and enough toppings without overwhelming the flavor of the chicken sausage. We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts, which had cauliflower and tofu all mixed into an incredibly decadent balance of sweet and salty and oily goodness. I am really looking forward to coming back and exploring items on their permanent menu — at the top of my list are the miso Twinkie and the fried pears. They had some really fun dishes all at great prices! Definitely stop by here if you’re looking for a reasonably priced menu that packs a flavor punch.

Google
I started off my Saturday with a great meal with a good friend. We had a reservation for a distillery tour and we wanted to make sure we had a good base for the day ahead. Overall our experience was great. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly. The ramen was pretty good, I’d say maybe a 7. The Fried Chx Rice bowl definitely hit the spot as well as the buns.

Google
Was super impressed by how delicious the food was and how quick the service was as well. I split a bowl of ramen and 4 steam buns and everyone else in my group was equally impressed with their food. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Can a ramen place make a good burger? Let's find out. I had the boke double Burger: Double patty, Tillamook cheddar, Caramelized onions, Boke pickled cucumbers, and our Boke Secret sauce with Japanese kewpie mayo, gochujang and chile crunch! This burger is a seasonal one so it might be gone when you are getting there Yes it is a good burger just a little tiny kick from the chile crunch and a good taste of the onions - not too much of sauce and the meat paddies are just right. A good burger indeed.

Yelp
Stopped specifically for Nacho Week for the Korean Beef Wonton Nachos. Korean braised beef, crispy wonton chips, gochujang queso topped with kimchi and pickled onions. Needed some extra spice from the sauces on the table, but otherwise nice crunch! Service was not memorable. Ambience: open, light, large picnic tables

Yelp
There are a lot of good choices. If you like Asian food, you will find something you will like. I love the poke bowl, all the ingredients are very fresh. The fried chicken is delicious. It is a good place for kids if you like to go with your family

Yelp
We went to bike bowl after visiting OMSI. We placed the order and grabbed the number before finding available seats. Their fried chicken rice bowl was delicious and several veggies were added to the bowl as it served. You can help yourself to get a cup of water if you need it. They bring the dish to us when it's ready. I may try a different dish when I return to this place.

Yelp
PORTLAND SANDWICH WEEK brought us here. The Korean Spicy Sando is at the top of my list (out of the 5 that we tried this week). Wish they offered this in their regular menu 'cause it was BOMB AF. 10/10 !!! Boke Bowl is located in the industrial east side of Portland. We don't generally find ourselves in this area, so I'm glad that the Portland Sandwich Week forced us to check this spot out. There's only STREET PARKING available. The restaurant itself is super spacious with lots of indoor seating. We especially liked the modern and bright/airy feel of the space. Service was TOP-NOTCH and our food came out QUICKLY! We decided to add a side of the BRUSSELS SPROUTS SALAD with our sandwich and I'm so glad we did 'cause this dish had so much flavor and is a hit on their original menu. I would definitely come back for this!

Yelp
Kind of a Warehouse location of Portland, but there plenty of other restaurants around. We selected this one because it looked healthy and quick. This is a restaurant with lots of Vegan, Gluten free, and meaty choices. We were a group of 8 with 4 children and they mostly lied the food. The fried chicken buns were their favorite. Pretty spicy choices for sauces, not for the weak taste buds. Sweet waitress and very nice cook. Enjoyed the whole experience and meal.

Yelp
Second year coming here for dumpling week! So good! They have a lot of yummy options here and I would definitely recommend coming hungry. The atmosphere is spacious and plenty of seating. The service is friendly and helpful. We will be back again soon!

Yelp
Amazing food! Ramen!!! Everything else is delicious. The stuff is super helpful and super friendly! It's a must....

Yelp
I've visited Boke Bowl twice. Both times were for Food Week Events. The two events were dumpling week and burger week. Both times that I visited, I was happy with the service and the quickness that I received the food. The burger and dumplings were delicious. Their pork ramen is good too but the broth could use more flavor. The iced tea was good and the ginger limeade was good as well. I look forward to continuing to visit this restaurant.

Yelp
Good vibes, awesome playlist, friendly staff... I love Boke Bowl! Came in tired, cold, and depleted but after a bowl of this ramen I left feeling better than ever. I had the pork ramen with added crispy chicken, which was totally the move.

Yelp
The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are well balanced, the prices/portions are fair, and the vegan options are ample!! I am a fan!

Yelp
The stop to eat dinner here last night with my husband was happenstance. We were over at the Lloyd district neighborhood earlier for another event and were driving around and passed by Boke Bowl and decided to drop in for dinner. I really enjoy a great bowl of ramen, and I was not disappointed. The woman who was working the register when we came in let us know that we just needed to order off the wall, or menu behind us, take a seat and we would be served our dinner and they would buss the table at the end of the meal. As this was our first time visiting, we wanted to order different items to get a taste of the products. We ordered the Pork Bone Dashi - slowed smoked pulled pork, soy, bonito and seasonal veggies which included a nice squash. My husband ordered the Duck Dashi which was made with duck broth, duck confit, crispy brussel sprouts and seasonal veggies and lastly, we ordered a shared order of the Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai. The food was hot and good, but we felt like it lacked a bit of depth in flavor. However, while unlike me to not do research on a restaurant before going, I could tell by the bit and chew of the noodle they were home made, which I appreciated. I also though the siu mai were filled well and were larger than others I have had before. We ate a bit and took the rest home. They had great to go containers, which is important when it comes to Ramen. The restaurant itself was set up more communal style, lots of shared tables and then a few individual tables against the wall. It was clean and for the size, had a nice space. I liked the simple decor. I additionally appreciated watching the gentleman under the "bowl wall" making something on the spot. FRESH!! The good news - our ramen had even more depth and flavor today as leftovers. I think while they are aiming to present "fresh food" often food increases in flavor when it has time to "marinate and set." This is true of their food in my opinion. The down side, the prices were high for a ramen bar in my perspective. If I were to get food from Boke again, I would stop in and place my order to go and let it sit overnight before I dive in.

Yelp
WOW! Couldn't be happier to write this. So before this experience, I had been here twice. Once for Nacho week, which you can find my review for, and what ended up being the best Nacho I had during Nacho week, and then made it our first stop for Burger week, and it was the best burger I had. With those two experiences in my pocket, I was determined to make it back here to support them during a non-food week, just to be able to try their regular menu. I was absolutely not disappointed. We started with a mixed trio of Steamed Buns, deciding on Pork Belly, Jack Fruit, and Mushroom. All three of these were excellent. The pork belly had great flavor, the Jack Fruit was delicious and had some really good spice, and the Mushroom had great flavor. We also got the Siu Mai, which was really good. We were starving, so we got a second round of mixed steam buns, Pork, Beef, and Fried Chicken. The pork was again amazing, the Beef was really good, and the chicken was pretty good. We also got the Dumplings, which were good but pale in comparison to the rest of the offerings. Can't wait to come back and try the wontons and some of the other menu choices, and can't wait to come back for dumpling week! Also, if you like spicy, the Extra Spicy sauce they have is to die for. Had to buy a couple bottles on the way out (they sell it for $8), and it makes everything better! The service was great, we came in on a Sunday around 7pm, we were helped quickly, the service was friendly and outgoing, and the food came out fast. There weren't many people in, so that made it a nice quiet meal. The staff has always been friendly and it makes it easy to want to come back!

Yelp
Not busy at opening but def was by the time we left today (Saturday). Order at the counter, self serve water station, they bring your food and will bus your table. Street parking, and shared restroom with other businesses building so don't forget the code on your way out. I got the fried chicken rice bowl and my friend ordered the buns. I appreciated the mustardy kick and textures of the various veggies. I'd go back to check out their ramen.

Yelp
Boke bowl had the best sandwich during sandwich week and I hope it makes a reappearance. It was my first time visiting and I really liked the open and semi shared dining area. I wish I could have tried more things but I had 5 other sandwich places to hit up that day.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered on door dash, so this is 100% food related. The most jarring thing was the size of the containers and the amount given, especially considering the price. Sichuan Pork Wontons = 4 small wontons in a small container ($13) Seasonal Salad = mostly greens, normal bowl, just a ton of greens ($14) Fried Pears = small dressing-sized container ($4.50) The sides are so tiny. Like, really really tiny. My friend said the poke bowl was fine. The kids ramen was okay but my ramen-lover kid didn't eat it. Everything was okay flavor wise, but there was always one thing missing with every dish. One flavor component missing or one thing that was off. The rice was way over cooked. My feedback to the restaurant is to specify how many wontons, how much squash will be in the salad, and share the general size. Then customers can order the right amount for their party. Otherwise, people will assume they are a serving size and be disappointed like we were. I didn't love the food, but would not be writing this review if they didn't leave us high and dry with so little food.

Yelp
I met a friend here for dinner with his young family. They come here often, so it's family friendly and there are many things on the menu that they like. I got there a little late, so they were already almost done with their food. I decided on something quick, the mushroom steamed buns and a margarita. The margarita was lovely, but the steamed buns were pretty bland, if not for the fried onions, they would've been flavorless, and one of them had a huge block of wax in the middle O_O That was a very strange experience but I am sure that it was a fluke (I hope it was a fluke) . I didn't have a great meal, but the place was packed on a Wednesday night and appeared very clean... I don't live in the area, but regardless, I probably wouldn't return.
google avatar

Mikey L.

Yelp
This is a cute little place that everyone should try at least once. While it is a little expensive for smaller portions it makes up for it by having amazing flavors and unique dishes. The staff was super friendly; it was the first time I went and they helped me out. You also get to see them make the food over the counter! Overall, it was a great experience and food. Just be aware of prices. (Parking can be hard and I had to pay for that )
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
The fennel dashi ramen is to die for. I probably order once a week. Nothing like it in Portland and it's vegan.
google avatar

Valerie Y.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped to eat dinner at Boke Bowl before our drive back to Seattle, after walking along the water. The buns are a good price and a good size, but they are mostly filled with filler such as veggies and not much of the actual protein. In addition, the bao (breading) is not as fluffy as you would expect. I thought the Sichuan wontons were pretty good, but definitely not filling enough for a meal. My one favorite was the fried pears - surprisingly really good! They are just as sweet as normal pears and the texture is really nice and chewy. I would probably give this place another try and get the ramen next time I am around.

Noah C.

Yelp
Delicious! The Pork Ramen and Fried Chicken Buns were absolutely to die for! The food also came in just 2.3 minutes (I timed it). Definitely coming back!

Sabrina C.

Yelp
3pm on a beautiful Saturday, quick service and delicious fresh food. Fried chicken steam bun, crab rangoons, and pork belly steam bun were all delicious. Music playing was on point too!

Hoang H.

Yelp
One of the worst if not the worst ramen place I have ever eaten. I ordered the pork ramen with an egg. The egg was cold. I know it's supposed to poached but cold??? Pot stickers were ok. Good service is the only good thing I can say.
google avatar

Rayan R.

Yelp
Where do I begin? This was the best meal I have had in ages. I felt my soul ascending after every bite. If I was on death row this would be my final meal. A tear is forming in my eye as I write this. Thank you boke bowl. The service was amazing the woman reminded me of seeing my mother for the first time after coming out of the womb. The ambiance was peaceful, clean, beautiful and bright.

Yelp
We walked right in on a Thursday with no wait which was great. The menu is vast and we took our time trying to pick out what we wanted. It was a warm spring day so I opted for the season special of the Cold Sesame Ramen noodle salad with Pork. It was nicely dressed with the vinagrette, a good amount of ramen noodles plus lettuce. A perfectly hardboiled egg pickled egg and fresh veggies. Don't let the name salad fool you, this is filling and I had leftovers. We also shared appetizers for the table, the spicy wontons and siu mai weren't mind blowing but they were good I would have pushed the marinade and spice factor up more however It's a nice filler to start with. Tables here are big and communal and then you order at the front which is great coming here with a group and not having to worry about splitting the bill!
google avatar

Saffron C.

Yelp
We ordered the Brussel sprout cauliflower salad, mushroom steam buns, and fried pears. All of the dishes were amazing and so flavorful, we wanted to try everything on the menu. The service was friendly and fast! The layout of the restaurant is open and there's a type of communal seating, but plenty of space if you want to sit alone :) 10/10 would recommend to anyone
google avatar

Eryn C.

Yelp
Boke Bowl was an interesting experience! The restaurant is a bit hidden in an industrial area, but it has a vast dinning room inside. The ordering process is quick and easy as you go to the register, order what you'd like, & seat yourself. The water station is self serve as well. I ordered 2 of the mushroom miso buns, 1 jackfruit bun (I was feeling like eating mostly vegetarian that day), the pork siu mai, and pickled cucumbers. My boss ordered the Brussels sprouts salad and the pork and chive dumplings. The food came out very fast-- like within the first 10 minutes of us seating ourselves. The jackfruit bun was PHENOMENAL! This was actually my first time having jackfruit. I've always wanted to try it as a vegan alternative to meat, but just hadn't gotten the chance. So, this was an amazing introduction to the texture and potential uses of jackfruit! It had the perfect amount of spicy and sour with a nice slaw on top. I also loved the crispy onions they added on the buns. The mushroom miso buns were yummy too! I'm not a super huge fan of mushrooms, but I challenge myself to eat them for their nutrition. The sweetness of the buns complimented the miso mushrooms very well & was overall enjoyable. BUT, the jackfruit bun definitely stole the show! The pork siu mai, was the next item that I tried. They were pleasing to the eye and had a great texture! I felt like the restaurant could have gone a bit farther with the seasoning as it was a little bland. I tried the siu mai, with soy sauce and the two hot sauces they had at the table, but it still did not add too much depth to the flavor. Surprisingly, the pork & chive dumplings were very savory! I've had pork and chive dumplings often, but what I liked about these were that they were pan fried. From my experience they're almost always steamed, but the crispy bottom definitely made them even more enjoyable. Lastly, another gem that I wish I ordered more of, was the pickled cucumbers; a side on the menu. As simple as they may seem, the cucumbers were extremely refreshing & had the perfect amount of pickling! I could have ate them all day. Overall, the quality of the food was great. While eating, I was able to watch the process of employees prepping more dumplings to be made in the future. This further showed their authenticity in making fresh dumplings for their customers. My boss and I spent $50 without tip for the entire meal, which I did feel was little bit on the expensive side-- but knowing that they're making everything from hand and not cooking frozen items definitely explains their price point. This is definitely somewhere I could go again for a light & quick lunch!

Yelp
Tried this spot on a weekday for lunch and it did not disappoint! They have a tasty, unique menu with plenty to choose from, including both meat and vegetarian options. The steam buns were tasty. Of the fried chicken, brisket and mushroom steam buns I ordered, the fried chicken was probably my favorite but all were delicious and incredibly filling. The miso Twinkie was also a nice touch for dessert. If you're looking to dine-in, the restaurant seems to be a nice size with lots of seating(although I'm not sure how busy they typically get). Overall, definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Justin K.

Yelp
The steam buns here are so good that you'll slap a newborn just to get one. Get the mushrooms on the side and an order of ragoons to accompany.
google avatar

Dina E.

Yelp
I needed some raw fish for the new year and this popped up with a high rating for delivery (though very limited fish selection). I wanted to try the fried chicken but I know my eyes are bigger than my stomach so I'll order that next time. I saw the miso twinky and thought, why not? The twinky was light and delicious. The poke bowl was super fresh and pretty huge, containing seasoned tuna, salad, roasted squash, cucumber, tomato, carrot, arugula, avocado and a very light dressing over their seasoned rice. Really delicate flavors. I made it through 1/3 and needed to pause lol. I will definitely be back to try the fried chicken.
google avatar

Sentilla H.

Yelp
The food is way overpriced and the food really bland. I spent $40 on ramen and a side, and it wasn't good at all. The people who worked there were super nice, though!
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
Came by here for dumpling week. The line was fairly long during dinner time - roughly 30 minute wait. This was my second time coming here, first time being wing week. My favorite item here believe it or not are their hot sauces. I highly recommend the hot cry baby sauce which is only $5.

Katrina J.

Yelp
I was surprised this wasn't rated higher. The broccoli and cauliflower salad was genuinely great. My kids loved the pb&j steamed buns. my husband didn't love the lemongrass chicken rice bowl quite as much but overall fantastic!
google avatar

K B.

Yelp
The rice bowl and dumplings were only okay. The star of the menu is hands down the fried chicken bao. The chicken was crispy and flavorful and stuffed inside of a perfectly textured soft steam bun. It had a sweet honey mustard style sauce that complimented the Asian style fried chicken. I'm drooling.
google avatar

Daniel N.

Yelp
Very great ambiance. The boas were to die for. I got the pork, chicken and beef Bao's and each were cooked to perfection with the perfect complimentary sauce and garnishes. The ramen was great as well. Not traditional flavors but definitely very unique and tasty. Really loved the Brussels sprouts. Really good buttery flavor to them
google avatar

Vivian M.

Yelp
Place has a very cute interior. We got the Portland week sichuan Chile and lamb wontons and bao buns with brisket. Portions were very small for how much it was worth. The chili lamb wontons were a little stiff but the bao buns were nice and soft. Overall, felt a bit too modernized for me but points for being a cute establishment.

Yelp
Pretty awesome ramen spot near OMSI in Portland. Had an incredible pork ramen with pork belly and fried chicken buns. So delicious. Great table management while they're busy - took a list and managed seating well. Great vibe and overall fantastic quick and yummy ramen meal.

Yelp
Trent: "Wanna bowl for dinner?" Me: "I don't know- I'm not that good at bowling" End scene Epilogue: Decent portions of good, fresh food in an industrial setting. Fried chicken was good- ask for your rice tots well done. Do you wanna bowl for dinner?
google avatar

Yelp
Just nestled in between some waterfront establishments such as Lippmanns, Boke is a superb little restaurant offering build your own ramen or salad bowls, super delicious steamed buns (ooohh the fried chicken) lots of fun sides. We ordered a poke tuna bowl, really fresh ingredients and duck ramen, a little oily. I recommend you order ahead of time for pick up or use door dash or grub hub for easy delivery. Not a long wait however if you just walk up. No indoor dining. I will be back even if it just for the steamed buns!

Yelp
Unique twist of a full meal located in industrial area of Portland, Oregon. I ordered Shrimp Rice Bowl. My better half was extra hungry so he chose Fried Chicken Bowl and Spicy Chicken Miso with Chicken Sausage. We scored street metered parking in front of eatery during non-peak hours between a late lunch and early dinner. First, order and pay for your meal(s). Then, worker will bring your meal(s) to your table. Shrimp Rice Bowl: My tongue could taste sweet, sour, salty, spicy, tangy, cold, and heat hot. Veggies, protein and carbs all in one meal. One bowl sufficed my appetite for the day and rest of the evening. Not kidding! Fried Chicken Bowl: I tried a spoonful from my husband's meal. Loved how dollop of creaminess provided a subtle balance and calmness to kim chee and pickles. Spicy Chicken Miso with Chicken Sausage seemed ideal for a consumer craving for elevated heat and plethora of spices. That's exactly what we got! Everything in this dish fulfilled our appetite. We enjoyed the fresh ingredients, seasonings and spices. Ideal for the adventurer and seeker!

Yelp
Big portions for the bowls. It had so many flavors that every bite was giving something different. I wasn't too much a fan of the crab rangoon which is usually my go to. Like, if crab rangoons are on the meh, I can't skip over them. Regardless, I will definitely be back to try their steam buns because everyone next to me had them and they look FIRE and/or the bowls because I can confirm they were fire.

Yelp
We love Boke Bowl. Clean, easy family style seating, gorgeous delicious food with really healthy options and the best fried chicken and ramen In town.

Yelp
Fennel ramen with fried tofu and fried pears. Heaven found. Will come back again... snd again

Yelp
This is we have X ingredients pre-made and we throw them together in different combinations. No cooking, just mix and serve. No heating. We got the pulled pork steam bun. It's a slice of BBQ pork, soft, with some red sauce and 1/3 of a pinch of coleslaw mix ontop. It was ok, nothing special. The ratio of meat to fat in such a small bite was a bit, but whatever. The curry with pork, was the same sliced pork WITH the red hot sauce on it with the curry. The curry tasted like tomatoe soup. Wondering if they know what curry is. I've had Japanese and Korean and Indian curry and that was tomatoe soup. Not even good soup. The ball of rice was cold, the meat room temperature like the with the bun. The curry was cool. On top was another serving of the coleslaw. Cold. But there was a few pieces of cooked squash that was very good. Room temperature. My husband is very temperature sensitive and will blow on EVERYTHING. He ate his ramen the second it got there without blowing on it. The ramen had the same pork with red sauce floating on it. The 3 kids also had ramen and none of them blew on it. So all room temperature. There was 9 of us, no one got a hot plate and everyone got different stuff. It didn't say cold noodles. It was the ultimate adult cafeteria spot. Here's the salad bar say what 5 ingredients to mix. I have no idea why so many people were there. I've had so much better food elsewhere. I've had tastier food at McDonald's and I haven't eaten there in over 10 years. The nachos at 7-Eleven have more flavor, are warm and it's gross plastic cheese. Would not go back. Vegan friendly or not there's so many vegan friendly and tasty places. Cold tomatoes soup with raw sprinkle of coleslaw mix floating on top.

Yelp
I can't say enough great things about Boke Bowl. Their food is SO fresh and literally feels healing. My go-tos are either the Tofu rice bowl or the cold noodle tofu "poke" bowl. I also love their mushroom bao buns, i recommend adding a little squirt of hoisin sauce to them if you like sweet and savory combos. But for real, you can taste how fresh the ingredients are and all the flavors and textures work so well together. I can't speak on the service or ambiance because I usually get their stuff delivered on Grubhub. But 10/10 recommend if you want something DELICIOUS, nutritious, filling but not heavy.

Yelp
Not very good. Food lukewarm at best. Waaaay overpriced. I wanted to Like it but just blah. Curry bowl - bland. Pork belly was ok. Duck Ramen. Again no flavor and not hot at all. Noodles were basic. Chicken Boke bowl. Chicken was good. Buns - meh. Just really disappointed.

Yelp
Right on Boke bowl! So glad to see you weathered the pandemic and are up to your old trick! Heathy twists on comfort food. Family style and veggie and kid forward. My daughter who has been eating here since age 3 enjoys the rice bowls with all the pickles etc to forage through. I like any and all of the veg sides and salad. Add a poached egg and you'll be stocked. Rocked it xoxo

Yelp
Open for DINE IN and takeout! This restaurant has spaced out seating and serves approachable Asian-inspired dishes made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was warming and the staff was equally as inviting. Stopped in at the recommendation of our Yelp elite friend. Ordered dumplings, rice and a Tuna Poke Bowl. The service was quick and the food was hot (temperature). Enjoyed the ambiance and music in the background while we ate. The food tasted fresh as promised and was very delicious. Prices were decent ($15 bowls). Highly recommend for a late breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Fun, fairly priced and yummy food. Went here for the first time. Order at the counter kind of place. However, they are a well oiled machine and got their rythym down! Rice bowls are around $13.00 and there is a kids menu. Service is friendly and efficient. The rice bowls have kim chi, pickled cucumbers, greens, mushrooms , snow peas and bunch of other yummy things. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. Street parking. A couple things to note. Chicken was dry, but tasted good, rice was cold in bowl and Brussel sprout salad is served warm and has Mango! Parking is not hard to find. I will be back soon. Great for to go or dine in.
