Wow, I'm astounded by the 4.5 star reviews that led me to believe that this place might be good. This is some of the worst Korean food I've ever had and I have eaten it all over the world. I had the spicy pork and it tasted like someone had just doused cooked pork in a mediocre gochujang sauce. There were some nearly tasteless pickled onions, dry raw shredded carrots and some cucumber on the side. The rice was undercooked. I spent another 5 bucks on terrible cabbage kimchi which every Korean person should know how to make and you can buy already made if not. It was not fermented. It tasted like They blanched the cabbage and then drowned it again in gochujang. Miserable. I highly recommend kuun on Livingston as an alternative.

Such a great spot for classic Korean dishes and to try things you might not have had before. I loved this spicy chicken bowl. Can’t wait to come back for more! Also, it’s so great that the owner is so excited to share his love of food and recommend things to you as soon as you walk in.

unfortunately i hated my lunch here and i am surprised after the 4+ stars on google. i got the beef bulgogi which was dry, under seasoned and fatty. served with under seasoned cucumbers, flavorless onions and dry carrots. Moreover I walked in and was unsure if it was open because there were only a handful of tables in such a large space. this is pretty unfortunate because it seems to be locally owned/operated and with downtown covered in chain restaurants i really gravitate to the ones that are owned by NYers. sad but alas at least it fed me during my lunch break. do not recommend and will not be coming back

This place is awesome! I found it on Google when I was looking for a Korean restaurant without having to leave Brooklyn. It’s a little off the beaten path because there is a lot of scaffolding up, but thankfully there is signage pointing the way. They only opened about a month ago with the intention of being a delivery only business but you can also order for takeout and there is plenty of public seating available at the end of the block. The owner was super friendly and generous and even gave me some complimentary kimchi. The food is made to order, super fresh and flavourful. I think I saw a note that the chef won on Chopped. The fried chicken was lightly battered and crisp. The brisket was super tender and it was great that the bowl included a nice portion of veggies. Also got some boricha/barley tea which was refreshing. May very well be the best Korean food in Brooklyn. Bonus points for clearly stating GF and DF options on their menu.

I had the Korean chicken with salad and liked it. Chicken was a tad salty on its own but balanced well with the salad. The staff is so nice too and the portion size is good! Will be back to try to the other menu items.

Incredibly yummy food and cozy atmosphere with a food court kinda layout. Be sure to try the dumplings and the karaage, those are both very delicious. The honey butter french fries were absolutely amazing, especially when paired with some kimchi!!! The cucumber kimchi packs a punch while the traditional cabbage kimchi is nice and mellow. It seems the place might eventually get a sushi place and bar on the upper floor too, which I’m definitely looking forward to!

Delicious, fresh made-to-order Korean comfort food. I had the soy garlic fried chicken and it had the delightful characteristics of homemade cuisine — it was made with care with freshest ingredients. I was able to see the chef cook my dish as well as another person's beef bulgogi with white rice. That's what I'm ordering next! The place is recently opened and not on a main street but it's worth seeking. Very friendly staff as well. Though small for now with limited seating, still very much recommended.

I got the honey garlic shrimp bowl and it was mediocre at best. The price was insane for a plastic bowl just full of rice and some cucumbers and shrimp. And wilted shredded carrots. Go to Cava next door instead.
