I’m not sure if there was any açaí in my bowl, this was my first time here and I’m not sure I understood what I was ordering when I said the flavor of the day açai bowl lol. The flavor was lychee and pear (YUM!) but I think that meant you don’t get açai too… I love the customizing options and next time I’ll see if I can add açaí if it’s not included in the flavors you choose (I though açaí is the base and then the flavors and then the additional toppings). Either way it was really good and very refreshing, especially on the hot day. Price was comparable to what I pay in Chicago for these. I like they had toppings I can’t get in Chicago (like spirulina), definitely worth checking out!

decided to try it out again after taking a break. due to just bad seevice and unwelcoming energy from employees. yet again its still the same. oh and prices went up ! give us a break we spend money on ur shop and recieve no greeting or any manners just feel like im bothering the employees here. plus we have to take on a price hike with no improvement on service or overall experience. will not come back again. bring back the $7 1 scoop bowl. $9 is CRAZY

This smoothie spot is located inside of the riverside food lab. They have amazing smoothies that have cool unique names . They also have açaí bowls. Definitely worth getting if ever in downtown riverside.

UPDATED: they reached out to me to check in and if I would be interested in a refund or giving them another shot. They refunded me. Customer service and attentiveness is excellent. I LITERALLY PAID FOR ICE. I added ginger and literally just watered down. Apparently my smoothie also has pineapple, spinach and did I taste any of that? NOPE! Really bad bad. Pictures to really show exactly what I am talking about… so disappointed in my purchase.

So good! One of the best açaí spots I’ve been to. They make their own blends!!! No one makes their own blends anymore.

Wish they had a normal whole milk or oat milk. But it was yummy pistachio bobba with almond milk. I'll try the thai tea next time and other flavours!

Really liked the Riverside Food Lab. There is a nicely curated selection of counter restaurants to choose from. There are a lot of vegan restaurants too. Seating is a little limited so to go is probably best. The Lab is located right downtown so it's convenient to hotels and the convention center. Highly recommend.

Here you will find a little bit of everything and then some. It's a great social hub. We are all different and like different things. Here everyone can be happy. My personal favorite is babas chicken but there is so many other delicious options. All staff members are friendly and helpful. Love that there is 2 separate bars for beer and liquor. It's very spacious inside and full of life'. Always clean. Great introduction to downtown if you never been

I love this place it's a lot of different things to pick from I like the hot chicken sandwich in here and the vegan hamburger spot I forgot the name of it but the burger is so good I forgot it's not meat..lol

The food lab was poppin; especially on weekends when it draws in crowds the larger crowds. Even though it's on the smaller side, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for everyone. Plus, there's a cool bar with a wide range of drinks, making it a great hangout for anyone wanting to chill. An attached parking garage also makes it super easy. This time, we went for Shrimp Shack, and it did NOT disappoint. The shrimp were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We couldn't resist ordering a few items to share.

A locals favorite! second time i get to visit this place. it was a bit warm. seems like they don't run their ac properly doesn't help that there is a lot of food businesses. it felt so muggy in there. They do have an outside seating area with view to the downtown area. conveniently located downtown Riverside parking can be hard to find if busy but there is parking in the back. Here you can find Ramen, Pizza, Mediterranean, Cajun, and Mexican along with vegan options. you can also find tasty drinks and some nice desserts. service from there corner bar was okay, though the server did state that they would be closing soon. family friendly. plenty of seating inside and out.

Weather permitting, sit outside. Inside can get loud and hot, and if you're close to the bathroom, smelly. For selection is good, fun for everyone, with beer!

The ambience at this place is lively. It is a location with a few food vendors. Whatever the weather is, this spot seems to be a good place to hang out at.

Only our 2nd time here after leaving a concert @ fox theater and each time our experience has been great!! Tonight We Found a new spot towards the urber drop off entrance called... Maki Sushi & Cocktails and let me tell you it did not disappoint... I mean $6 for shots.. how could you go wrong? And Hand made sushi rolls... yum!! Monse & Sam we're super sweet & helpful recommending shots and drinks for me to try all night. Hands down my favorite one was the mount fiji winter wonderland...if you like rum this is the drink for you... I Also tried the gummy bear shot.. delicious we'll definitely will be coming back not just for the food and drinks, but for the outstanding service

Another Inland Empire find. Lots of artisanal eateris and bars to choose from. If you are a foodie then this is the place to visit. Eateres that I visited include: Baba Chicken Loose Leaf Boba Maki Sushi Miies ice cream and cookies Shrimp shack Soho Ramen There's many more that I didn't get to look at but will try another time. Their current event is "College Night at the Food Lab" which happens every Thursday night. This is the day that college students get a discount on food and drinks when you present your valid student ID. Also from Tuesday to Thursday, the Riverside Game Lab is offering Happy Hour where games are 50% off from 5 - 9 PM.

3.5 stars. This place is a medium sized food court. Some places inside are better than others. There are some lines for some of the places, but they move quick. At all the places I ordered food at, I found all the people working here really friendly.

Stopped at Maki Sushi & Cocktail (used to be called Maki Bomb) for a bite to eat. It was ok. I ordered a Rainbow Roll. The portion was on the smallish side and the flavor unimaginative. They had a sign that advertised $7 "Japanese Cocktails" for Happy Hour and when I asked further the server said it was actually just a shot and I could order a juice to add to the shot. Staff was friendly and food serves quickly. The Food Lab is a loud and energetic environment. A great choice of you have a group who want different global foods. I'll definitely try some of the other food places.

I've never been here, but the looks amazing. I'm planning to get over there and try the cauliflower plate and all the other sides at the shops all around.

This is a gem in downtown Riverside. The Food Lab has a great vibe, fantastic ambiance, and so many food choices! There's vegan burgers, poke, Korean, and mediterranean - I got a few chicken shawarma bowls with the most delightful garlic sauce when I was in Riverside for a bit and I tried the vegan burgers as well. I'm sure there's something for everyone here -- recommend grabbing a bite!

Very cute vibes and had a lot of good options. Unfortunately a lot of the stalls close early so we had limited options when we went but went with SoHo Ramen and it was pretty good! This is a fun place to come when you can't decide or want to try different things. Plus it's in a very walkable area and is easy to get to.

Riverside food lab has a bunch of food selections, best day to come is on a Thursday if your a college student as they provide discounts. This place I got is in front of the bar as u entrance. Nacho fries was really good

Tons of food places inside with a good variety. Sushi to burgers along with a bar. They literaly have it all.

A vibrant food hall with a lot of options! We had tacos and street corn from Mi Vida Gorda. All very delicious! I had a Paloma as a beverage. It was tasty & refreshing. We stopped at the Shrimp Shack for some beignets for dessert. Fast service in each place, especially for a Father's Day Sunday! I'd like to visit again and try a few other places.

This food hall is conveniently located about a block away from Mission Inn, where I was staying, and just north of the Fox Performing Arts Center. It's fairly large with quite a few dining and drinking options for lunch, dinner and dessert. After looking around, I ordered items to go from SoHo Ramen and Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion, which are next to each other. From SoHo, I ordered a chashu bento box, which came with rice, steamed veggies, seaweed salad, 2 gyozas, miso-like soup and a soda. I would have liked to have tried the ramen, but didn't think it would travel well back to the hotel. Everything was tasty and a good value at $16.50. From Shrimp Shack, I got the Cajun shrimp and grits, my go-to order for Southern food. The dish was tasty, with a tomato-based sauce with sausage, peppers and onion, but 5 shrimp for the large amount of grits seemed a little skimpy. It was $14.50. I would have liked to have tried their fresh squeezed lemonade (also available as a refresher or hard) and their beignets, but I had my soda from Soho and beignets purchased in the morning from Beignet Spot. Several other spots I'd like to try in the future. There's a gaming place next door.

Great place if you can't decide on what you want or if your group won't eat the same thing! Casual and wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. Food was great! We had chicken, boba, fish tacos and açaí bowl!

The allure is a social hangout area not the food. Overpriced and crowded on a Saturday.

Came here on a tour and tried several of the spots. The pizza place in the corner was delicious! Excellent spicy tuna sushi. The ice cream place had fantastic service and creamy ice cream. The bar made me a delicious hibiscus drink and the tea shop staff were very nice. I'll definitely return, especially with a group of friends who might want different things.

Great food court with loads of options for all sorts of dietary choices and tastes. This place is always busy. Try Monty's for the best tater tots of your life, Fufu's for fresh mediterranean food, and Mi Vida Gorda for vegan horchata!

Order food and grabbing some food. Highly recommend to come and hang out, they have several drink and food options.

Disclaimer: The 5 stars are for the staff (security and maintenance), the bars and eateries inside the FoodLab and their employees. They're deserving of the rating considering the current circumstances in which I'm about to describe that they're not responsible for and can't control. The FoodLab is where I come to see my friends when I'm able to, as my schedule is usually packed and doesn't give me many opportunities to hang out as much anymore. Unfortunately the heat inside the building during the summer months is almost unbearable and honestly it's just been getting worse over the years. And I didn't quite understand what the purpose of blocking some of the entrances/exits was the other night, but it wasn't helping and is kind of a safety hazard? Idk, but any airflow through the building would've been better than none. It was like 90 degrees inside. Also, why weren't the misters on for the people sitting outside? Those definitely used to be a thing. In any case, I hope the building owner/s are working on getting the AC situation fixed for good. And hopefully that's happening right now and not when summer rolls around next year.

Fun food court! Down the street from the Mission Inn, we walked here to top off with vegan fare at Monty's and smoothie/acai bowl at Bolcopop. But there's ramen, alcohol and other treats for variety. Recommended if you're already in the area!

Riverside Food Lab is located in Downtime Riverside, and this place always seems to be busy. You have many food and beverage options available burgers, tacos, pizzas, Mediterranean, ramen, boba, smoothies, etc. There is limited seating available inside, so do plan ahead. Parking can be validated at the machine near the entrance.

Lots of good food and drink options to choose from and a decent amount of seating available. When we went it was quite busy during holiday season but we were still able to find seating. Very clean and welcoming place. We ordered the Matcha Strawberry Latte from Loose Leaf which looked appetizing but it was a bit of a let down as we could really taste the strawberry nor the matcha. However the Chicken and Beef Shawarma Plate from Fufu's was amazing and it was filling enough for two of us. Over great place to come if and try out different foods!

This is basically a really chill, super casual food hall that has a little bit of everything so anybody can enjoy anything! Choose from sushi to quesadillas to ramen to veggie burgers to cocktails to ice cream and everything in between. It's very trendy, very clean, and a great place for a date!

Fun place to eat. Wide variety of drink and food options. Good place to hang out before Fox Theatre concerts too. Highly recommend the Food Lab.

We've come to the food labs quite a few times in the past couple of years. It's a food court in here, you will find mostly fast food type eateries with mostly outdoor and limited indoor seating. Park at public parking lots and street parking within walking distance. As of December 2023 these are the eateries: Monties - impossible burgers and fries Baba's chicken - hot chicken sandwich, fried pickles Mi vida- chicano Mexican food Bricks N Birch - wood fired pizza and coffee Klüddes bbq- serving bison, venison, boar and beef /pork Fufu's grill- Lebanese Maki- sushi, poke, cocktails Soho ramen - fusion/non traditional ramen. Shrimp shack - cajun/creole, bignets Loose leaf boba co - tea and boba Beerfarm - beer Bolcupop! - juice, smoothies, oatmeal Brass Monkey Social- cocktail bar Mixie - icecream

Parking: Nearby street parking as well as adjacent parking structure--prices vary per day, but generally free whenever I've come. Ambience: Reminds me of a small public market with a good variety of food options, ranging from ice cream to coffee to Mediterrean to Mexican. They also have an arcade next door, so it's definitely one of the most fun activities in Riverside--work up an appetite playing games, then come here for some great yums! There's a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating.

Riverside food lab is a plethora of local eats. When everyone in the group can't decide what they want this may be the place to culminate. Pizza, Mediterranean, ramen, Cajun, coffee, açaí bowls, ice cream, Mexican, beer, cocktails, game lab, vegetarian, southern, American.

Staying for a convention within walking distance of hotels. Is this amazing? A little food court style venue. Sampled two separate locations and cannot wait to go back tomorrow

Cool food court. Parking is easy and free for the first hour, plus a bit longer with validation. I came here mostly to check out Loose Leaf Boba, but saw a lot of other interesting spots. Will have to check them out when I have more time the next time I'm out this way!

Everything is from Mi Vida Gorda... and I love when my food is a lil gordaita! The carne ada burrito is a very girth and hefty size, inside was also amazing. Churros were fresh and crispy, there were different sauces you can choose. The nachos can be done with chips or fries, so of course had to get both. That fried cheese on top was amazingggg. Pretty packed but there's seating outside and misters during the summer. Love having the different options esp if I wanted a sweeter dessert and parking was upstairs of the food lab. Great area, love all the options they provided

Avery cool spot with lots of options for chow. Also it has a fantastic bar. We ate tacos from Mia Garda, delicious and tasty tacos. Along with awesome margaritas. Great vibe and lots of of food options. Worth a visit Enjoy!

Big Food Hall in downtown Riverside. Plenty of parking on the street and in the lot behind the food lab. Holiday ready with decorations and music! Something for everyone including Vegans at "Monty's." Other popular fares include: Mexican, Pizza, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Burgers and Chicken sandwiches. There is a big bar located at the entrance with large TV's airing what else? Football! Prices are moderate and serving sizes are large. Sharing is definitely a must. I say get a little of everything with your group and taste a "melting pot" of flavors! Gets crowded in the weekends right now during the holidays but there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Some dancing was going on outside which was fun to watch! *Great for large or small groups. They have a game lab (arcade) right next door to entertain big & little kiddos! Have a go!!! *The town is all decked out for the holidays.

What more could you want in a food hall? The variety is there, the space is a vibe, there's cocktails for people who drink, and the service is always good. There's even vegan choices to choose from!

I ordered food from fufus. I have eaten there once before and was anxious to go back. This second time my order was wrong and upon trying to get the styrofoam container out of the bag, it broke and half the entree ended up on the floor. The wrong order was rice and I have dietary restrictions that make rice a no-no. I was going to see a concert Next door and there was no time to get another meal. When I went back to get a refund, no apology was offered.Very disappointed and sat thru the concert, hungry and frustrated. If I try it again, I will check my food to make sure they get the order right.

Cool, hip place; great for hanging out with a group, especially when you can't agree on one cuisine. Everybody can get their own food, and meet at a table. Basically, it's a food court without the mall. On the other hand, it may be hard to find a place to sit if you have a large group. There's a lot of restaurants inside and not enough seating. The space isn't really large, which is why I'm surprised at how overpriced the restaurants are. They do have some pretty neat graffiti, murals, and IG worthy photo ops. :)

Very Nice atmosphere. A Variety of food and restaurant options. Perfect environment for a day out with friends , family, the kiddos. This place has Everything from Ice cream, Ramen, Tacos, Chicken, Pizza, Burgers, Beer.. You name it. its there. Plenty of parking in the parking structure or you can just park on the street. Noise level is High, which is to be expected but not overwhelming. SERVICE was pretty fast. Drinks were great and refreshing. Will be returning as, there are so many options to choose from.

Fantastic comfortable location that offers many food and dessert options! Full bar and beer bars available. I sat at one of the bars and ordered food from one of the restaurants on my phone. I was notified when it was ready and I walked a short distance to pick it up.

Great food hall with several choices of different foods. Ate at Fufu's and had the falafel, which was good. Got a drink from one of the bars. Good atmosphere inside. Seating both inside and a patio outside.

Perfect place to take your family due to variety of foods... usually have enough seating (if not inside, extra seating outside). Neat place to people watch.

Great place to go with your friends and hang out they have a various of options to choose from and usually don't take long preparing your food would definitely recommend going during the week tho

Riverside Food Lab is the biggest modern food hall (as of Sep 2022) in Riverside. I rarely visit Riverside county so I had to stop by this place during my recent to Oak Glen. [Parking]: There's a free designated parking structure for Riverside Food Lab. [Selection]: Over 10+ different options from TWO bars playing live sports TVs (Wilson's and Bricks' and Birch), Nashville hot chicken (Baba's Chicken - one of the more popular vendors), ice cream (Mixies Ice Cream & Cookies), coffee (Mi Cafecito Coffee), burger using Impossible Burger patty (Monty's Good Burger), Lebanese food (Fufu's), ramen (Soho Ramen), juice bar with boba (Bolcupop), etc. [Other comments]: Riverside Game Lab (retro games + full bar aka barcade) is conveniently located right next to Riverside Food Lab. The Riverside Downtown Farmers Market (Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM) & Main Street Pedestrian Mall are just a block away from the food hall. Despite the fact that some of food halls in LA county & OC have slightly better food options than Riverside Food Lab, this Inland Empire's very first food hall is still a perfect place to hang out with friends.

Amazing! Every food station is delicious! Great service from the mexican place! Amazing tacos & elote cup! amazing sushi! Super cool Dj outside! Indoor & outdoor seating! very lively ! and lots of parking! even has an arcade ! incredible !
