The 17 Best Restaurants & Bars In Breckenridge, Colorado - Denver - The Infatuation

"Bold is a Mediterranean spot in downtown Breckenridge with a great Happy Hour, but it’s also a solid place to grab breakfast without having to fight your way through crowds you’d find at Columbine or The Crown. The breakfast pot pie is slathered in enough gravy to keep you fueled up for biking through the Vail pass, and the strawberry-topped shortcakes are perfect for your friend who has the sweet tooth of a fifth grader." - anne cruz

Google
Absolutely delicious! We came here for dinner and got the meatball appetizer and the veggie stew. Both were so good especially after days of eating mostly sandwiches and fries. Highly recommend this spot!

Google
For breakfast the best place to enjoy with family and friends out server I think so it’s MC base on the tickets was super friendly and patient with us (we got two kids ) he was very focus on our table and capable and well trained! Food absolutely delicious and came up so fast ! Was medium crowded I guess it’s slow season but food taste incredibly fresh and well prepared ! You can tell they know very well what they are doing it! The pork belly OMG you must try it and the steak and eggs cooked so perfectly that this two options are heaven ! Fully recommend not price for the large portions and the taste and quality!

Google
This is a great go-to place for a flavorful, reasonably priced meal, and the menu has many options. We came here twice during our vacation because it was in walking distance from our rental and on the way to all of the downtown shops. The salads are amazing - colorful, flavorful, and huge portions. Add a protein. The salmon is delicious! I ordered the greek carnitas tacos for lunch during our second visit, and it was just enough for a light meal. Generous portions of meat, complemented with avocado, parsley, and pickled red onions. When we come back, BoLD will definitely be a place we revisit.

Google
We enjoyed dinner here on a quiet summer night in Breck. Place was rather empty so we were not anticipating a stellar meal. We were wrong. The mussels were outstanding, seasoned and prepared to perfection. The burrata was luscious and creamy and the Moroccan chicken skewers were tasty with harissa. The lamb chops were the best we’ve ever had. Seriously. The best in Breck and the best anywhere we’ve been. If you like lamb, go here now. Great vibe inside, bookcases with cool old books, some locals at the bar swapping stories over a cold one. Booths could use a refresh of seats, cushions. Thanks to Tom, our server. Exceptional stellar meal.

Google
We visited this restaurant twice in 3 days on our visit. You can sit outside or inside. The inside has nice bookcases with book. We enjoyed the lamb meatballs which are a lighter meal or could be an appetizer. The lamb meatballs with a moose creme were very good. The gluten-free free waffles were so very good. Also had gluten-free french toast also good. Eggs were cooked to order. The service first visit was slow but we weren't in hurry and enjoyed sitting outside. The second visit they had less staff but being they weren't as busy service was good and accommodating to special needs and requests. The prices were in line with other restaurants in town. It was great to have a variety of breakfast and/brunch, lunch and dinner options depending what time you visited. The mediterranean food mix was a reason we tried them and were glad we did.

Google
Just wanted to say that this restaurant is in desperate need of renovation. The service was great. The Greek lemon soup was absolutely gross. The portions are very small and of course the prices are very high being in a mountain town. For the amount of money that we spent in the hassle to try to find parking I just wouldn’t recommend this place. $187 for three people with no cocktails that’s kind of absurd.

Joel Johnson

Google
Great breakfast and mocha! Convenient parking under ground and the access door is right next to the restaurant. Chicken and waffles was delicious and home fries were cooked perfectly.

Google
One of my favorite places in Breck. They are proud of their happy hour specials as they should be. Beers are a great value, they have Cigar City Jai Alai IPA on tap which you won't find much elsewhere in town and good food options. Nice restaurant atmosphere located not far from the lifts with discounted sandwiches and wraps from 2-4pm.

Yelp
OMG, we have been coming to Breck since 2018 and somehow missed this place. They have a solid happy hour with $6 well (Breckinridge Distillery gin), a great bartender (Jeremy) and delicious food. So far we have tried the chicken BLT (wow, so delicious), the carnitas tacos, the carnitas wrap with the Greek salad, and the steak sandwich. All were amazing, best happy hour food to be found in Breck! We are here for another 3 weeks and plan to eat it all on the menu, and try breakfast too. They have a breakfast pot pie that is dying to get into my belly! Lastly, Jeremy gave some great tips on how to get around in Breck and things to do. This restaurant is my favorite in Breck!

Yelp
This was a pretty good meal in Breck. I haven't had any amazing meals there and I feel like that's the nature of a tourist town or I'm just picky, or both! We had the Greek street taco and chicken skewers apps. Both were good. My friend had the moussaka and said it was really tasty. I had the lamb chops. They were good but were a little too fatty for me, so I ended up leaving a lot on the plate. The server was great and the atmosphere. I'd return for another meal. I'd recommend reservations during ski season. We walked in and got lucky.

Yelp
The blackberry Mojito was great but the overall food was not authentic Mediterranean food and was not good. My taking was like a tomato soup and not real Mediterranean spice flavor. The Moroccan chicken was saucy but didn't taste like Moroccan chicken we have had in other restaurants. The falafel was also not authentic and didn't taste anything like what we expected. Overall, was not impressed. They also need to change out the cushions around the booths as they look very worn.

Yelp
This is a beautifully decorated restaurant, including indoor and outdoor patio seating, right on Main Street in Breck. It has an upscale, classy vibe to it. Our server was gracious and attentive. We had the chicken shawarma skewers and vegetarian mezze platter. The food was delicious and very well presented.
google avatar

Sam M.

Yelp
The lunch happy hour menu is really solid here, with the burgers/dolmas being the stand out plates! The staff was very kind to our kids and 2-3pm time frame is perfect for kids.
google avatar

Caleb B.

Yelp
The chicken BLT was really amazing. The restaurant has such a cool interior, and the service here is great. The inside has such a rustic feeling. The bookshelves all around this restaurant were amazing; I LOVE BOOKS!!! -Titus and Jackson

Yelp
A surprisingly good Mediterranean restaurant in the middle of downtown Breckenridge! The falafel is positively divine! The burger is huge and also very good, as well as the Greek fries with feta and olive oil. Server was a bit meh but that's alright.
google avatar

Jonathan D.

Yelp
We had a great lunch there today. We had two salads (cobb and vegan falafel) and then the greek wrap and steak sandwich. Everything tasted amazing and the salads were so fresh and tasty. I love it when things are grouped in the bowl and you can make your own bite. The falafel was perfectly cooked and the dressing (which was on the side) hit all the right notes. And the fries had a tasty coating and were amazing. We will be back!

Yelp
What a gem of a restaurant right on Main Street!! It's not always a simple to find a restaurant with more than one vegan option but Bold certainly fit the bill. We came in for apps got the lamb meatballs and Meze Board. Everything was delicious and the flavors were incredible ! The staff were attentive without being over bearing and this was the best baba ghanoush we've had!! It was so great that when we needed a small wedding nosh we got take out ( quick and efficient!) Be sure give them a try!

Yelp
We came here as a bachelorette for brunch. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance. Food was delicious. The portions were large. So many gluten free options-- we were in heaven. Thank you for being so accommodating to GF diets. I got the smoked salmon Benedict and made it GF. The only thing I would caution about is the chai latte is really sweet & probably pre-made. It tastes sweeter than Thai iced tea!
google avatar

Grace W.

Yelp
We came in for brunch and had a good experience. I enjoyed the inviting atmosphere and excellent service. Food is pretty decent. I had the Morrocan Chicken Skewers which was tasty, tender and juicy. Hubby opted for the Fried Chicken BLT and it was really good.
google avatar

Kevin Y.

Yelp
Great convenient location. Highly recommend the lamb meatballs. While the menu leans into Greek/Mediterranean they have a lot of other common American foods like a burger if that's more of what you are going for. The falafel bowl is a great option if you're looking for something vegan. Very filling and reasonably priced! Waits for a table can be long during peak hours, given the location, so I suggest you make a reservation. They have great cocktails with something for everyone.

Yelp
Delicious and fast for a sit down restaurant. Everything we had was great, steak sandwich, chicken skewers, and appetizers.
google avatar

Ally C.

Yelp
We stayed in one of the condos nearby & stopped in for brunch. Friendly & attentive service. Wasn't super busy so we didn't have to wait. Pretty quiet except for the bachelorette party next section over. The country fried steak was one of the best I've had (after living in the south for a decade). We'll absolutely be back our next visit to Breck.

Yelp
My favorite find in Breckenridge! They have a happy hour that goes from 2-6pm and food special until 4pm. They had no wait during weekday afternoons so perfect place to unwind after a long day of the slopes. The bold burger was delicious especially at happy hour price. The fries were also cooked to perfection. Now their signature cocktails which is $4 off during happy hour are no watered down drinks. The black walnut manhattan I ordered was basically 3 ounces of straight liquor! I was happily intoxicated after one drink . Highly recommend for apre skis!!!

Yelp
We went for breakfast - the food and service were stellar. Short walk from our accommodations lots of options to choose from. Thank you !

Yelp
Tl;dr - Great Service; Great Food; Chill Vibe Bold was a great find in the Village. We went for Dinner around 5pm. It was quiet - a few folks at the bar and a couple of tables. We were offered a table or a booth. We went for a quiet booth, and found it very easy to have a conversation. Lighting was just perfect and the staff all had a chill vibe that was great after a day on the slopes. We were waited on by Dan, who was both waiter, barman and table cleaner. He was great with my kids, and adjusted his style / delivery to whoever he was talking to. My son accidentally ordered a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger, and they offered to fix that right away. Our drinks were never not full, and we were even offered drinks to go. Very attentive. We ate a bunch of appetizers family style, and they were all delicious. If you like Mediterranean food, you'll love this place. They did a great job with some really interesting twists on "normal" Greek food. Favorites at the table were the Falafel, the chicken skewers and the Haloumi fries. Well deserving of 5 stars.

Katie N.

Yelp
Excellent! Delish! Happy hour 4-6 on beer, apps and shareables! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is so wonderful for those that love Mediterranean food.

Yelp
Best meal so far since arriving in Breck. Although some entrees are pricey, the flavors of the 2 I tasted were amazing. Totally recommend the bold pasta! Our server was also attentive and friendly.

Jenn G.

Yelp
My initial compliant had to do with being double charged. Per an email I received, I am told the one charge will fall off my account. Per my account as of this AM, charges are still pending. Will have to keep checking my account to make sure the extra charge will be credited back to my account. What is frustrating is the waiter had issues with the portable credit card scanner. I usually don't follow up when using my cards. Might have to start carrying cash instead!

Yelp
Holy Salt. Food wasn't bad but oh my gosh the saltiness was unbearable. They also had a signature mule which was tequila and not vodka which was interesting they didn't specify. They also said that the espresso machine wasn't working and they had no more cold brew so that was upsetting. We wanted to get chai lattes. We started with the burrata which wasn't bad but sooooo salty. Then we got the chicken fried steak, which was good, and the Mediterranean Cobb salad which was good but soooo salty. They also do a 3% kitchen appreciation charge that you can ask to get off your bill but will automatically be added.

Todd S.

Yelp
Every time we're in the area, we make it a point to stop here for breakfast/brunch. The cocktails, service (Peter) and food are exceptional. While visiting this morning, we had a chance to taste some of their hot wings that are going to be part of their happy hour menu and those two were fabulous.

Yelp
around six o'clock in the evening on a Monday and jumped on the waitlist right before arrival with only one party ahead of us. When we arrived, there was no wait and we were seated immediately;however, it seems like if you have a larger party, say 5 or more, you should absolutely make a reservation. The staff here were cordial and attentive if a little slow but that may have been due to staffing issues because of the heavy snow falling. I had the Chef's cut for that evening which was a 6oz filet mignon stuffed with blue crab cake and topped with lobster pieces and I upgraded to a side of skillet mac and cheese, my son had the 8oz filet mignon with mashed potatoes and some vegetables. Both steaks came out perfectly medium rare which was the temp we ordered and they tasted delicious. My crab cake stuffing was spot on although I think they could have spared a couple more lobster pieces in the steak topper. The skillet mac and cheese was very good. For desert, we split the brownie w/ ice cream because the waiter said it was good for two...it's not. I could have eaten that thing twice over by myself, lol...so just FYI. There is a bar on-site and I think if there is a wait then heading to the bar upstairs is probably the better option as the wait area is miniscule. The ambience is good here but it is a bit of a loud atmosphere, which we prefer, so not knocking it, just so ya know. There is a public parking lot nearby but it's an easy walk being located right on the main drag. We definitely recommend this place since the food was very fresh and we had no negatives while dining here.

Yelp
I really liked this for brunch! The Moroccan eggs was my favorite things, absolutely delicious! Everything else we had was really good but the Moroccan eggs, wow. I would definitely plan on going back just for the that. I haven't tried lunch or dinner options but I'd be interested in trying that as well. Located right in Breckenridge, I think this is a great option. So far the best restaurant I've tried in the area. The service was good the place is nice and cozy. I would definitely recommend trying this place. Happy eating

Yelp
BoLD used to be our go to place in Breckenridge. We travel here every August from Texas and hit BoLD on the first day. We were mighty disappointed this time around. Our group of 4 went for happy hour and they messed up our beer drafts. The food was mediocre at best with everything fried and basically tasting the same. I had shrimp tacos and had 4 fried shrimp and four fried jalapenos. my husband"s chicken sandwich was blah. Every time we walk by no one is sitting on the patio when in past years it was packed. I'm not sure I'd waste time going there with so many other excellent choices in Breck.
google avatar

Mosa H.

Yelp
Overpriced but decent food. Halloumi fries were absolutely delicious but I can't say the same for everything else. Greek salad was sparse on the greens, although I appreciated that they went heavy with the feta. Salmon was way overcooked and its accompanying veggies were watery and bland. The servers could be a bit more attentive, as well, our water carafes went empty for a while and we had to cancel some lamb meatballs that hadn't arrived by the time we were halfway done with the meal.
google avatar

Jacqueline D.

Yelp
Generous portions and good service! Benedict's were really good. It's in the heart of Breck so, can get busy very quick. Would definitely recommend a reservation
google avatar

Dalton R.

Yelp
Excellent food with quick and efficient service. Huevos Rancheros and Pork Belly Eggs Benedict were great.
google avatar

Clark A.

Yelp
My wife and I had a great dinner here last night. She had the chopped salad and I had the Cuban sandwich, with their Manhattan cocktail. Everything we had was well prepared and flavorful. The Cuban sandwich wasn't exactly Tampa authentic, but it stood on its own. Ingredients in the Manhattan were fresh and bright. We also had the baklava, which was a pleasant surprise, quite possibly the best we've had; crispy fresh without the soggy chewiness we usually find. Our waiter was among the most friendly and genuine people I have met, and was there when we needed him and had insightful comments about the food. We sat outside where we could enjoy the scenery and relative calm after a busy day of travel. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Rayajean P.

Yelp
The BEST food I've had in Breckenridge. Staff was welcoming, food came out fast. Everything was so delicious. Definitely recommend the spanakopita and lamb meatballs.
google avatar

Krystyna L.

Yelp
A medium sized restaurant tucked into the Village with generous portions and good seating for groups. We had a group of eight people and ordered a number of shared plates including the cheese board (yummy fig jam!), greek fries, and mezze platter. All were tasty and good portions for sharing. Outside of the $19 cheesy garlic bread I ordered, the food seemed reasonable in price. The drink menu seemed to be popular among the group. Hot tip: I ordered a dirty gin martini and was extremely pleasantly surprised with the $10 price point on the bill. Our server was friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being decently busy.
google avatar

JoJo E.

Yelp
Meh. For a Monday late morning brunch the place was fairly empty so one would think it would be better as there isn't the crowd nor the rush. A confused young man and a girl ran around like they had no idea what to do. Many dirty tables needed to be cleaned, but the atmosphere lended itself to such a welcoming and homey feel that we decided to stay. Service was slow the entire time and there seemed to be only one server for the whole place, but no, there were two other girls. One seated us and not sure about the other. No worries, we weren't in any rush. Out of the two selections of dark or light roast coffee we both chose the light roast and it was delicious. It's a Vail coffee we were told. Yum! I ordered Huevos Rancheros and hubby had the breakfast sandwich. The owner was very overwhelmed it seemed. My dish didn't look nor taste like the popular dish so not sure where owner got a silly recipe from. Hubby's sandwich was just okay. The breakfast potatoes were WONDERFUL!

Yelp
I find a lot of places inputs in towns are hit or miss. This was by far the best meal we ate during our 4 day stay in a Breckenridge too bad it was our last night because I would have gone back. Quietly situated in a shopping complex near Lululemon. There is public parking under ground of this complex. Our table for 10 was ready when we arrived 15 minutes early. We were seated right away and a gentleman immediately provided us with the specials for the night. So many items sounded amazing. We got the meme board ad an app for the table, all the spreads it came with were delicious - I couldn't have eaten that as my meal. But, I ordered the vegetable tagine after seeing it deliveries to another table. It was flavorful,l and filling. I stuffed myself to finish it but it was soooo worth it! My husband got the chicken skewer entree which he said was too much food and could have just gotten the chicken skewer app and been fine. A few other table favorites were the lamb meat balls. We will definitely be making another reservation at BoLD next time we plan to visit Breck.

Keira W.

Yelp
Vibes were good. I walked in and I was pleased with the cozy feel and our table was ready quick. After we sat down the water was so pleasant. The perfect ball ice quenched my thirst the entire meal (which was very necessary to clear my palate). It was all great expect the food. We older a lot of different things to try. The appetizers we ordered- lamb meatballs and salmon- almost made me spit both up onto my plate. The special of steak and Greek tacos were the only good thing. They tried to make hummus but the homemade feel did not exceed the terrible texture. Idk I just didn't love the food but other might I was not very hungry when I walked in here for a late dinner but as I left I was so much hungrier. I think 3 stars was nice hehehe

Yelp
Service: Walk in the door and waited at least 5 minute before someone came to greet us. Ding no. 1. The unhappy or super busy server asked how many in our party and said to wait until they clear a table. Another 5-10 minutes elapsed and we were finally seated. We arrived at 11:30am and it was buzzing with customers. We had a waiter come right to our table and asked for our drinks. We ordered some Thai Lattes but the waiter said they couldn't serve us these drinks as the place was slammed with customers. Oh well, ding number 2. The waiter came back with some water, then left. We waited over 5 minutes to order our food. Ding no. 3. Granted, the place was packed, but no excuse for the poor service. It was prime vacation season and the establishment should have staffed accordingly. Poor management. Food. Breck Burger was nothing spectacular. The bacon was good and the brioche. Not very flavorful. The fries were cooked nicely but was super salty. Breakfast Pot Pie - The pot pie was not edible with the amount of salt in the gravy. We had to wipe off the sauce to eat the pot pie without it being overly salty. It took over 15 minutes to get the check and another 10 minute for me to get it back. Ding no 4. Good thing this was a one time visit.

Yelp
Service was decent... a fellow who didn't write down the order and got a detail wrong. Food was decent. Somehow they couldn't make a chai latte today, boo. Overall, so so.

Emmi M.

Yelp
Amazing place people nice food it expensive but it worth it i don't know who is chef but the food is delicious service are perfect

Yelp
One of our favorite happy hours in Breckenridge. We dream about the meze board it's so incredible - and try to get here every chance we get. The meze board is truly one of the best shareables. The service here is always incredible and it truly is the best value happy hour in town.
google avatar

Zachary L.

Yelp
You can't go wrong starting a day in Summit county with a great "breck"fast from BOLD. It's hands down our favorite spot where it's a hard decision on which great menu item to choose

John K.

Yelp
Service was very good. Drinks were also great. Food was disappointing. We were hoping for authentic Mideastern food. The Meze appetizer was obviously pre made and stored in refrigerator. The spreads were pasty. The vegetable Tajine needed more kick. The Moroccan chicken was ok but spice wasn't quite right. We saw people eating lamb chops that looked good though
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Extremely impressed! Went here on 11/4 so the weekend before the opening of the lifts. Service was lean with maybe only 1 server, food runner, and bartender, but drinks and food came out with no added wait. Prices are a little steep - but you get what you pay for! My party had the Greek fries, green tacos, burger, feta Cobb salad, and Moroccan chicken and each of us thought flavors were delightful! Portions are generous too! We are excited to be back during ski season!
google avatar

Ruben C.

Yelp
Place was understaffed, came in with a reservation-had to wait. Ordered as soon as the server talked to us. Table of 5 was sat at a 4 top. 2/5 orders were wrong, we just ate it. Didn't want to wait. The funny part was it took an hour to get food , ate in 15mins and because we ate fast we were asked to make room for a bigger top. Like the table next to us was there longer but app didn't come with meal so they still had food on the plate. Overall not the servers fault but man. No regard for Customer experience !
google avatar

Dawn B.

Yelp
Good service, nice deck. Great Happy hour specials til 6pm and sandwich and burger specials til 4pm.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
We had never been here before and it fit all the needs this day! We had our dog so it needed to be dog friendly. I needed coffee! We camped and forgot coffee, who does that lol. The coffee fit the need and thry gave us to go coffee!! Then the food was a bonus because looking at the food being served and the menu it all looked good! The falafel sandwhich was really good and the fries crispy The salmon biscuit had so much salmon on it! And the capers made it. We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was a great find right behind our hotel. Craving something other than typical road/vacation food, we went here based on the menu and Yelp reviews. My son did get an (outstanding) burger and fries, and I was really pleasantly surprised by my chopped salad. So many great complimentary flavors and textures going on -- smoked salmon, couscous, tomatoes, crunchy freeze-dried corn, pumpkin seeds -- a really tasty and interesting combination. I also enjoyed the orange clove old fashioned, but found the clove a little overpowering.

Yelp
I really rate Bold a 2.5* but that's obviously not an option.. First I'll start with the ambiance: it's adorable, cozy and little swanky. Loved it. The vibe is chill. For starters we ordered the bread service and ceviche. The bread was outstanding. Crispy outside, chewy and airy inside. The ceviche was disappointing- I would consider this a crab dip, not ceviche. Very heavy on the Mayo/binding ingredient. It tasted good - just not what I wanted. For entrees we got the vegan bowl and the bold burger. The photos of the burger on yelp looked amazing thus the choice. The burger was okay.. it was a little flavorless and really wasn't anything special. The vegan bowl was incredibly too salty. And let me tell you.. I LIKE SALT.. so for me too say this was too salty says something. I struggled to eat it honestly. Overall, I would not return. Not sure if we just didn't order the right things but first impression - the salt really just through me over the edge. Final words: The food looks better than it tastes.

Yelp
Stopped in here for brunch. Really adorable! The breakfast wrap was amazing! Fun to chat with the owner who is originally from Reading!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Most disappointing breakfast experience we have had in a long time! Aside from good coffee and friendly service, our plates of food were a total let down. A pile of burned bacon, sad dehydrated fruit, and soggy undercooked waffle, with more sad fruit. Whoever was in the kitchen didn't care, at all, about the quality, or presentation of the food they were serving.

Yelp
This place is delicious. The price isn't too expensive and I love ordering breakfast food for lunch. The eggs were cooked to my liking. The Benedict's were delicious and paired nicely with the potatoes. The fries are also super yummy. This was one of the best places that we visited to have a meal in the area. When we were here, it was outdoor dining only but there were still plenty of seats. The view is really nice in the area so overall, very happy with my experience here. Also, pets are allowed to I got to enjoy lunch with my pup.
