At the beginning of the Rancho California Wine Trail, you need go no further. There are three tasting rooms with different wines, Spanish, Italian, and French. There is a wonderful Spanish restaurant with an amazing brunch on the weekends, open every day for lunch and dinner. There is an Italian Mercado with lots of hot food, Gelato, espresso, and dry goods imported from Italy. The French tasting room was the original and offers hot French sandwiches Friday and Saturday evenings, and there is live music everywhere!! The Roman Garden is an amazing place to take your wine and food and relax, and a great venue for their amazing parties, or your own amazing party!! I was there last night for a Taste of Havana, and a good time was had by all!!

We had a wonderful time at Bolero - both the ambiance and food were amazing. We were a large girls group visiting town and we experienced both friendly and accommodating staff members. One of the hostesses, Nataly, provided outstanding communication and customer service. Our server ,Keith, provided excellent service throughout our dining experience. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here!

I am just amazed at how my girlfriend constantly find us all these random, but classy restaurants with delicious food (this was our first fancy Spanish restaurant) 🤷🏻‍♂️. I saw the prices on the menu and thought, "wow, this better be good because I would be spending at least $100 today!". Thank God I walked out of that restaurant feeling satisfied, it was totally worth it 💯👌🏼! I suggest making a reservation if you plan to dine in here because this place gets booked up pretty quickly (that was our experience at least)! The place was cozy, customer service was great, and the bathroom smelled pleasant and clean ✨. The food: - Cordero 🥩🥬 (9/10): This was a delicious meal. The fried lamb was juicy and seasoned to perfection, it wasn't too salty, and the kale was the icing on the cake because that was the first time I tasted "fried" kale, it was definitely an interesting experience. I deduct a point because I felt that the margin of diminishing returns had started kicking in just after eating my second piece (perhaps a little too oily?). - Seafood & Spanish Chorizo 🐟🍚🦐 (9/10): This was probably my favorite dish of the day. It is a must have. The rice aroma made the dish extra tasty. Although, I wish the rice could be drier! The seafood (shrimp, scallop, mussels and orange roughy) was mildly chewy, tender and rich in flavor! The seasoning was top-notch, and the portion was really generous! - Paella De Vegetales 🍄🥒 (10/10): This dish was like a perfect appetizer! The mushroom was chewy, and the zucchini was juicy. Although $38 for a mushroom dish might feel a little steep, it's definitely worth a try 💯👌🏼! Overall, this Spanish restaurant might not be budget friendly, but the experience and the quality of food might make it a worthy candidate to take your dates to 😁!

So my daughter made reservations 6/4 @6:30. When my husband & I arrived @6:15 we were informed they were setting up the table and would seat us shortly. So we had a cocktail @ bar; bartender was great! The hostess never came to get us to let us know our table was ready until the rest of our party arrived. That is not the information she provided when we arrived. So now we are seated. So we were instructed that dinner was served tapas style. So we all ordered; my daughter and my husband wanted the paella however we were informed it would take 45 minutes; too long. So everyone ordered. BTW my daughter ordered a simple pasta dish with no protein instead of the paella. So the food TRICKLED out. My grandsons who ordered their food but were still hungry so my son ordered them a second dinner to split which was delivered eventually. Its now TWO HOURS later and not all the food had been delivered; specifically my daughter's dinner. When we finally were able to make contact with the waitress, she thought my daughter had ordered sea bass (which that incorrect dinner was also never delivered to our table). Finally when the pasta dish arrived which we promptly asked for it to go as we had been there close to 3 hours. My husband asked for the check as HE JUST WANTED OUT OF THERE! Then the manager came over per my daughter's request she made him aware of the situation and he said her dinner would be comp'd. Prior to the manager coming over, the waitress delivered the bill and my husband handed her his credit card. She informed my daughter her dinner which had arrived just minutes before could not be deducted as she ran the card already. In any event, the manager had the power apparently. So there was a $329 charge pending charge on the credit card. Also, my husband felt the wait staff was spread too thin and does not believe in giving a gratuity. So he added a $60 tip (less than 20%). When the charge came through as the final amount, there was no credit for the "long lost" dinner. |Did I mention my husband was angry and did not want to speak with the manager. . . . almost 3 hours, he simply wanted out of the restaurant. |Tapas style should not be an EXCUSE FOR POOR SERVICE.|This dinner was to be a celebration of graduation and promotion. .. . .the service made it anything but a celebration.

Dinner for two at Bolero restaurant . The ambiance inside was very pleasant . We arrived around 5 pm and were seated immediately . It got busy around 6pm . We started with brussel sprouts and potato croquettes - was absolutely delicious ! We were exited to try the chicken chorizo paella. What a disappointment 😞 The rice was undercook ( really hard) few pieces of chicken and ‘sausage’ cut into it, definitely not fried in the same pan . No crisp on the sides and rather tasteless . C’mon guys , if you claim to have a Spanish flair , at least prepare the staple in a traditional way !

We had a wonderful time. We often go with friends and spend the afternoon playing games (phase 10, Greed or Mexican train) as we enjoy the delicious tapas and bold wines. Our recent visit was no exception. The service may not be fast, but the food is worth the wait. Friendly staff makes our time there enjoyable.

I think these people are more impressed with themselves than we are. We went to celebrate our 35th anniversary at this restaurant and while a few of the appetizers were good, in general, the experience was overpriced and unimpressive. We ordered an entree along with an appetizer along with a glass of wine with a low pour (their idea, not ours) Neighbors next to us ordered all appetizers and maybe we would have enjoyed it more had we done so, but our waiter recommended the seafood Paella, and while good, it wasn't great. It does have good ambiance, but service is so-so. For a anniversary dessert, we had some kind of a cake and ice cream that was so uneventful that I can't even remember what they served us. Europa in general, strikes me of a big corporate hype. We have been here before for breakfast which was much better, but still way too expensive for what it really is.

Google
We started with the wine tasting and the pourer was unfriendly and inattentive. It took 10 min to even get his attention to start the tasting even though he saw us right away. He didn’t explain anything about the tasting “rules” or the wines. With that being said, their wines are very good. We ate at Bolero restaurant and that was a disappointing experience. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was mediocre but the beef and chorizo sliders were delicious. The jicama wrapped Caesar salad was unique and had a nice presentation. Our waitress forgot about our main course of drunken shrimp and we waited over an hour for 4 pieces of toast with a shrimp on each. When she brought the dessert menu we asked about our main course and she went and got it. By that point the shrimp was hard as a rock and the toast had sat in the sauce so long it was soggy and gross. Between the wine tasting experience and the restaurant experience we wouldn’t return. There are so many wineries in the area and most are a much more pleasant experience.

Yelp
I'm always in for a big treat when I visit this place!! Great food and the drinks are amazing!! My favorite is an old fashion and a nice New York steak!!!! Want the best drinks and service ask for Tami!!!

Yelp
We made a reservation and came here for my Bday BRUNCH on Sunday. I couldn't be happier about the choice I made because Bolero is just BRILLIANT!... SONG of the DAY to play along to this YELP REVIEW: VOLARE by Domenico Modugno... They had a larger selection of shrimp and mussels on ice plus seared tuna. They also have an omelette station which was outside in the courtyard, a prime rib and dessert station... HIGHLIGHT: I went back for more ORZO RICE, grilled asparagus and Brussels Sprouts... SERVICE: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ She took really nice pictures of us. Thank you to ALL the hardworking staff. Every plate that we finished at our table was picked up immediately! Like the FLASH ;) PARKING: PLENTY but gets busy really fast! BDAY DESSERT: I really enjoyed the complimentary bread pudding, ice cream with a side of strawberries. ROCK ON BOLERO AT EUROPA VILLAGE!!!!!!!

Yelp
Went here for brunch with a friend visiting from out of town. Overall, the food is delicious. Been here for their dinner as well, and it's always good. The price is of course expensive since it is a restaurant at the wineries and one of the most popular for locals and tourists. Service for both dinner and brunch is relatively fast and the servers are very friendly. My biggest issue is for brunch (lots of flies everywhere) inside the restaurant during spring and summer. Aside from that, great place to go with a friend, a date, or with family. I would say family friendly, maybe for parents with older kids, but it has a very adult vibe and lots of tourists visiting from LA and SD (it's the wineries! lol). Not a bad spot at all! Favorite item for brunch: the empanadas!

Yelp
Bolero's delicious menu options and bold flavors continue to bring us back time and time again. With open bar seating We don't bother making reservation, especially when Tami is there to take care of us at the Bar. Her warm and welcoming spirit will make feel like you're catching up with a friend all while she effortlessly runs the whole operation. Thanks Tami We appreciate all you do!

Yelp
Such a beautiful place Definitely a place to stop by when you're in Temecula. I hated this is one of the best places to stop by. It's like a fairy tail this place is unreal. Service for the small bites area was OK. Had to go to two different servers to finally get some help after being told sosmeoen will be with us. Didn't stay long after this. Hopefully I do return and o get to have a better experience and can enjoy that it has to offer.

Yelp
The Spanish croquets and well done sliced beef were excellent. Bolera is one of most tasteful restaurants for food and ambiance located in the Old World Mediterranean resort called Europa Village in the wine country of Temecula. My family, friends, and I come here for special occasions or whenever we're in the mood for a special treat! Service is okay depending on your server. Rustic parking on unpaved dirt lot. Gorgeous architecture and vineyard scenery. Perfect spot for wine tasting.

Yelp
My favorites: - Calamari - sooo good we had to order it twice - empanada - I'm usually not a big fan of empanadas but these ones were so juicy - brussel sprout salad - the pomegranates complimented this well. They're not whole Brussels tho they made them into little flakes Other things we ordered: - pasta - this was just ok - octopus and lentils- 7.5/10 years - paella - takes 40 min to make so by the time it came out we were way too full Overall very yummy food! We were told the size of the tapas were small so we ordered a lot but they were not small at all and we honestly felt like they told us that so we could over order ... lol

Yelp
We come to Bolero Restaurant at Europa Village because of one incredible reason -- Tami. She's not just a bartender; she's the heart and soul of our experience every time we visit. From the moment we sat at her bar, she's made us feel like family with her warm personality, impeccable service, and genuine care. Her attention to detail, expert drink recommendations, and ability to create a welcoming, fun atmosphere is unmatched. Tami is the reason we keep coming back -- she truly elevates the entire experience. Thank you, Tami, for always making our visits so special! Also the food at Bolero is so delicious. Book your reservation for a very special experience. Don't forget to go say Hi to Tami.

Yelp
Overall pretty good! Get the jambon and queso board because it's outstanding!! One of the best things we've had in awhile. The calamari was also really really tasty! The shrimp spaghetti was mild in flavor, as were the short rib bites. I probably wouldn't order those again. Service was good and the heaters outside kept the patio nice and warm!

Yelp
The best place to park. The best place to eat, the best place to visit. 5 star service and food. We are so impressed we had no way food could be this good. The outdoor and indoor dining are both great choices to have.
google avatar

Leilani M.

Yelp
Loved their tapas Tuesday! Only on the patio area or inside at the bar. They have live music on the covered patio area with heaters nice & toasty on those cooler evenings. Came with the girls and made a day out of it. Service was great and food was outstanding! Their tapas menu pairs perfectly with one another. Whatever your craving is they have something for you! Sized perfectly for sharing and tasting all they have to offer. The winery has so much to explore. Carve out enough time to make your visit worth it! It's a special evening waiting for you to make into a cherished memory!

Yelp
Great brunch place on Sundays, seafood is fresh, plentiful and tasty, lots of choices including prime rib and many other delicious foods. Service was on point, we were seated without a reservation which was nice. Price reasonable for the quality of the food. I will be back.

Yelp
The food, drinks, and service are amazing here. I came down here with a friend and had Tami as our server. She was attentive, friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the different wine selections when asked about them. She also provided great suggestions for food. I had the calamari, mashed potatoes, and paella and they are to die for. Overall, nice aesthetic indoors and outdoors, good food, and drink selection. Would come again!

Yelp
Our first time here & can't wait to go back. It's a beautiful large winery with many food choices. Bolero is Spanish. We had 4 people & chose the special tomahawk & paella, definitely would serve 6 if you have any appetizers or don't come famished. Tomahawk was best we've ever had. Cooked & seasoned perfectly and the presentation was awesome. No spoilers. Go check it out. The paella was very good too. They offer 3 kinds & we chose seafood of course. I will say the paella is light on saffron and heavy with smoked paprika. We tried a few different glasses of wine to pair, as recommended by staff & all pretty good. Service here was excellent. One odd thing and the reason this review is not a "5" - The seating. Two of us were on low bench seats and two on high chairs, like way higher. One chair was out in the walkway & kept getting bumped. A little distracting. Otherwise our meal was very enjoyable.

Yelp
Bolero at Europa is such an experience! It's perfect for date night, with so many delicious options to choose from. There is bar seating, outdoor/patio seating and indoor seating, so something for everyone. We have had the pleasure of being served by Tami and she is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. She is efficient, friendly and professional! She makes everyone feel so welcomed and provides top notch service to all of her customers. Love having a great local spot for delicious, fresh food and even better service!

Yelp
Update: While the winery was quick to respond publicly on Yelp, I've yet to receive a reply to either of the two emails I was provided. I followed up but received no further communication. At this point, it's hard not to feel that the emphasis they place on customer satisfaction is more talk than action. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this winery.

Yelp
Mark was an amazing server. His recommendation, smiling and good vibes will def have me returning. Thank you so much.

Yelp
Pro: Gorgeous location, Spanish influenced decor. Con: Dinner service is messy from low staff, food quality decreased with restaurant is busy. TL:DR - get the food together on a non busy night. When this place is packed, all hell breaks lose both front and back of the house. Came here with family, totally party of 4. Here are our orders. Apps - - Croquetas, beef - yummy, will order again. - Ensalada de sandita - outstanding, great balance. - Champinones mushrooms - beautifully presented, perfectly sauced. - Gambas al Ajillo, garlic shrimp - a be watery than most places, tons of garlic, a must for dipping bread to soak up the sauce. - Tres Quesos - nothing special - Causa Acevichada - needed more lemon Main - - Seafood and Chorizo Paella - ordered the chicken entree, waiter put it down as add chicken to the paella. paella was cooked at higher temp to rush the dish, end up with a moist rice mess where the bottom and side lacks the slight burn. Chicken was under cooked. - Missing chicken dish. Dessert - - Passion Mousse Cake - dry, left over cake - Dulce de Leche - moist, full of flavor - Burnt orange cheesecake - cheesecake was not overpowered by the orange, bravo. - Coconut Flan - half a coco (not ripe) with flan inside. flan was a delight. The issue with this place is that it is grossly understaffed. The manager that primary worked as the host was just jamming people when the place was opened, she sit down 15 tables at once with not enough waiting staff to even take the ordered. Once the apps were served, chaos happened with miss orders, food brought to wrong table then redelivered (happened to our table and table next to us), and just service for drinks (table next to us got their melted sangria after their apps were brought to them). The horse and pony show of having a tomahawk steak and paella prepared at table side just completely cut all service down to a halt since Julian is the person that was able to performance the task at hand. When he is cutting and plating, the busing and runners are just running around like chickens without their heads. That is, if you get your food without the food visiting other confused patrons then migrate to your table. Food orders will be misplaced, food will be rushed cuz the manager likes to slam in the orders all at once from lack of seating control. Good luck getting anything refilled, ownership like to work the staff to the bones with understaffing. i would definitely order food from here to go, but to eat in house is to burn up 2 hours of your time for no good reason.

Yelp
Uniqueness: European vibes with Italian, Spanish, and French sections Wait Time: *** (Can get crowded on weekends, but usually quick service) Food Quality: N/A (Haven't tried the food yet) Service: *** (Friendly but can feel rushed) Setting: **** (European-inspired ambiance with a nice layout) Cost: *** (Not the best value, especially as a member) Europa offers a European-inspired vibe with dedicated sections for Italian, Spanish, and French wines. The ambiance is enjoyable, but the pours are light and membership doesn't seem to offer many benefits, especially on weekends when you can't use your tasting privileges. Although I haven't had the food yet, the restaurant looks inviting and could be a good addition to the experience. The service is friendly, but it feels a bit rushed at times, and the overall experience feels a little transactional. While the setting is pleasant, the membership perks aren't the best for the price, and without food options, I feel like the experience isn't as complete as it could be.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in the area!! Reminds us of our trips to Spain. You can't go wrong with anything in the menu, the staff is also amazing, we live being served by Jeri.

Yelp
The potato croquettes are my favorite! Also, don't skip the shrimp or sea bass! Best restaurant in Temecula.

Yelp
Our experience at Europa today was absolutely wonderful! The grounds are beautiful and we loved walking from country to country. It was a really unique experience and it's in my top 2 experiences for wineries I've ever visited (and the other was in Napa, so that says a lot!!) stunning grounds and great tasting wine, especially the petite Syrah in France. We also had the pleasure of meeting L'Ree in Spain at the bolero who was absolutely lovely, and so well I formed about the winery itself, the hotel and all of the wines. She was a real gem. We really enjoyed our experience and will absolutely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Bolero is great place to have a relaxing meal and great drinks with friends and family. The staff are all great and if you come often, they will soon become part of your extended family. Tami, Anthony and Dean always make us feel at home when we come in by putting smiles on our faces and watching out for my pesky diet restrictions when ordering food.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Temecula. I'm usually not big on tomahawk steaks because they're usually overcooked or undercooked and not a lot of flavor and you're paying for the bone. This is not the case with bolero. They're bone in tomahawk steak is 53 oz of perfectly prepared prime beef. You could cut it with a spoon and it melted in your mouth. The wine pairing was amazing, as was the appetizers. We opted for the Caesar salad, skirt steak, sea bass, and the calamari was to die for. Probably one of the best calamari's I've ever had. Our server Philip was amazing. He was attentive but not all over you or interruptive during our conversations. He was very knowledgeable of the food, the wine, as well as the history of bolero and the actual winery at Europa. Highly recommended if you're celebrating an anniversary or a birthday. No matter what it would be quite the challenge to find anything comparable price wise and quality as well as service. That's off to our server Philip who is absolutely outstanding.

Yelp
The food at Bolero is fantastic! It's beautiful on the inside. The winery itself is gorgeous! However, the service we experienced at Bolero was horrible/unacceptable. The waiter was very inattentive. He went out of his way to try to make us feel like we were bothering him. He was very curt/sarcastic. He REALLY let us know that he didn't want to serve us. He forgot some of our food in the kitchen. When he decided to bring it out, it wasn't even hot. He only refilled our water glasses when we flagged him down. He had a bad attitude while refilling our water glasses. He even spilled some water due to what appeared to be anger. After our main course, he angrily tossed/threw the dessert menu on the table. He told us to let him know if you wanted dessert or our bill and then he kept walking. We reported (emailed) this to the manager on duty but never heard anything back. We are grateful for the many dining options in the Temecula Valley area.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere and food here!!!!! My favorite is to eat at the bar Tami is a wonderful bartender and always gives great recommendations!

Yelp
We love coming to Europa Village and really enjoy eating at Bowlero restaurant. This is one of our favorite places to have a special meal at. We ordered the skirt, steak, chicken, medallions, and the sausage and chicken paella. Everything was absolutely delicious as always, and the servers were amazing. Everything came out hot and our glasses were never empty.

Yelp
Bolero restaurant is in our top 3 places to eat in Temecula. The food is always amazing and the chef keeps it interesting. Tami is the best bartender in Temecula and always makes us feel at home. We moved to San Diego a couple years ago and still make the drive just to see her and experience the food! I love the Europa table box too. It's fun experimenting with new dishes and the instructions and ingredients make it easy for us.

Yelp
Beautiful must stop if you're driving around Temecula wine country! Spanish restaurant, tapas and wine bar, up close view of the vines! All Devine! Don't miss these gorgeous grounds!!

Yelp
We had an awesome Birthday celebration at Bolero at Europa Village. The dining area was so relaxing The food was fantastic! There was not one item that wasn't delicious it all was great. Our server Vera was amazing!!! She made sure we were satisfied with EVERYTHING. This was my husband and mines first visit and most definitely won't be the last!!! Thank you for a great time Bolero staff!!!

Yelp
Very disappointed in Bolero this time. After traveling & living in Spain this is the worst paella ever. For two people we had one 3 in. sq. piece of orange roughy, 4 clams, 6 bite-size shrimp, 2 scallops & small crumbles of what I think was Spanish chorizo, the pan was 99% rice. We learned to not go on the weekend, it was a madhouse. We've eaten at Bolero for breakfast, lunch & dinners, this will be the last time. Had a reservation for 4:45 P.M.because we knew it would take 45 mins. when we ordered paella & we had to be at a concert at 7 P.M. We were in time but had to wait 20 mins. to be seated. Over an hour to get the paella. The calamares was good with an interesting dipping sauce, just a little bit of heat. And the service we received from Raeleen was very attentive, informative, & friendly.

Yelp

Yelp
Tami, the bartender was literally the most incredible bartender I've ever had disposition aside one of the best drinks I've ever had the bar is gorgeous and wonderful but just a shout out to Tami for making this place so wonderful, I hope she is a manager or head bartender because she deserves it!

Yelp
This restaurant is great for any occasion. It's modern, classy, romantic and great food. Their Paella takes 45 minutes so be prepared to identify if this is something you are considering and order it right away. They serve everything else Tapas style and good for sharing. I'm a sampler girl and like a taste of everything without filling me up. Their cocktail menu is excellent. The sangria comes with fresh fruit and such a delight. The bar has great service and extremely welcoming. The outdoor section always has live music and so much fun. Parking is on a dirt hill but plenty of it.

Yelp
Our service was amazing because of Chelsey. We had a big group for a 50th birthday and she made everything such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
All I can say is - WOW ! I am blown away by the food and service at Bolero. I came here a few weeks ago and was so blown away that I made the trip from San Diego just to come back. The hostess Josh greeted us and was extremely friendly. Thankfully we had Joy as our server both times, she recommended the best food/drink options and really rolled out the red carpet for me and my family. Even the manager, Savana came around to ensure we were taken care of. I haven't been impressed by a food selection in an along time - if you are wanting quality food and a quality experience come to Bolero. As our waitress recommended, the empanadas are amazing ! I would come back just for that.

Yelp
I just had to put a review to mention a wonderful lady at our stop. When my husband and I are ready to winddown after a long hectic day at work we always plan to go to our stop Bolero and hit the bar in hope we run into our favorite bartender gal "Tami" of course. That lady always know what to say and knows our favorite drinks. And to end the evening has Espresso Martini and banana creme brulee.

Yelp
We decided the last moment to go to Bolero and I'm so glad we did. We were seated on the patio and our server Jeri was absolutely amazing. She was so patient with us explaining the menu and giving us samples of wine before we end up picking a wonderful Albarino, the food was delicious. We loved our New York strip, Mushrooms and mashed potatoes. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely evening

Yelp
I come here for the food and the great drinks! The Pretty scenery as well. Any time I have came in I been lucky to have Tami as my bartender or server. Without her it would be like a missing puzzle piece! Thanks Tami!! Can't wait to see you again!!

Yelp
Brunch was worth it. I'm giving 4 stars because for $70 a person you'd think you would at least get 1glass of champagne or wine, but nope. The food was amazing. Braised short ribs were fall off the bone good. Shrimp was huge and Risotto was really really good. I could've kept eating but I needed to leave work for wine. It's obvious this is a wine country fav but with their revamp of property comes updated pricing which makes them one of the most expensive. I'll always stop here for pictures and usually good wine but I skipped the wine this time after a $200 brunch. I hope to stay in the rooms next time.
