Boléro bistro

We really enjoyed our meal at Bistro Bolero whilst on a short holiday from England. The slow-cooked beef coated with cabbage, black bean casserole, with red wine was magnificent. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. We would love to come back ! Jon and Elle

We went for dinner, the place was almost empty, but very quickly filled up. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, professional. We have not had service like this for a while. Food was delicious (even though we think we got wrong desserts haha). Overall evening was so good we went back again next day!

What an absolute delight to have found this gem near our hotel for an evening dinner. The service and personal attention, including from the owner herself, made our experience outstanding. The menu was unique and the chef catered to my dietary restrictions with ease. The warm atmosphere, delicious wines and relaxed yet upscale vibe made our experience top notch. Don’t hesitate to make this place a must on your list! Five stars all around. Hope to visit again when we are next near Geneva.

A fantastic discovery! I had lunch at Boléro yesterday and was thoroughly impressed. I opted for the daily lunch menu, which was not only an excellent value but also absolutely delicious. The codfish was cooked to perfection – flaky, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch; attentive, fast, and very professional. The restaurant itself has a sleek, modern decor and is impeccably clean. Its location is a huge plus – you literally can't miss it in the new building just opposite the Versoix train station. If you're looking for a high-quality meal with great service and value, I strongly recommend Boléro. I will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on a Thursday evening! In the quieter area, we enjoyed the serene atmosphere while still being able to listen to the live music. The food is delicious and I highly recommend trying the spicy mezcal margarita (a unique blend made with pineapple vinegar). For those looking to enjoy the lively vibes up close, sitting in the live music area with a drink in hand is the way to go. If you're in search of great food, a good atmosphere, and friendly staff, look no further!

Came in for a coffee shortly after opening. Staff were lovely and polite. Wish we had time to try the food! The place is cosy and fresh feeling! Would recommend visiting to others staying in the area!

Tasty food, we got the la fourchette menu, 3 courses, so very good price for Geneva standard. I particularly liked the seared tuna appetizer, quite substantial. Their crème renversée with tonka mousse and caramelized pear is excellent. Cozy atmosphere, they are quite busy in a Friday night, wish they have more waiters.

Beautiful place to stop with our children in the evening. My wife and I had a cocktail and chilled on one of the sofas while the littlest children played in the Versoix water fountains/jets just outside the train station. The service was superb too with a wonderful waiter who took our order, put us ease with his perfect English and came back to check if we wanted anything else.

Went to try this brand new restaurant in Versoix with my friend and enjoyed my dining experience there. This is something that the area definitely needed. They have a brasserie area (more affordable tapas) and a bistronomy (gastronomy) area. We ate in the bistronomy area (note you can't order from the tapas menu if you sit here) and I had the Chasse dish and apple dessert. The menu is simple but the dishes are cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The ladies who work here are friendly and sweet. It's a very contemporary space in an otherwise slow-paced area of Geneva. Fridays and Saturdays they've got a DJ spinning tunes.

Probably a good place for tapas. The restaurant is trying hard with great food but some overcomplicated mix of ingredients and overpriced.

A very nice place for a dinner or just drinks and tapas. Presentation of the dishes is amazing. Causal atmosphere and not rushed at all. Highly recommended.
